I’m currently in NJ working at JSUMC and have been visiting all the little eateries and this place is amazing. Perfect on every level! Oh, and they have a water bowl for dogs outside as well and I’m a dog lover so this made it even better!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. It is not worthy of even half a star. This restaurant came highly recommended to us, as being an awesome restaurant with great food and great staff. I also wish I didn’t have to write a negative review, but unfortunately it is very warranted. So to start out, we waited for 10 minutes for anyone to even come take our order at the counter. We could see employees in the back, but no one noticed we were standing there. Meanwhile a line was starting to add up behind us. I looked around and saw about 8 people in the restaurant eating. Only one person was waiting for food, and the rest of the customers were about to leave. The remaining tables were dirty and just had half eaten food on them. Finally an older blonde lady came up and took our order, she seemed very agitated, and any question we asked seemed like she was being bothered to answer. She then starts looking at our small child, who is touching the menu. He had bent up the corner of the menu to look underneath. The blonde lady, then reprimanded my child and reached out and snatched the menu from his hand almost hitting him. In which I looked at her in shock, I then told my son not to touch the menu again. And you can clearly see she’s not happy at all at this point. And neither was I at the point, if the food had not been paid for I would’ve have left. There is always a way to talk to small children with a kind of language they can understand. So we sat down to wait for the food, we had to find a area that was clean. Which has hard to find because the place was filthy. We finally get our order, we then begin to walk towards the door, she stares at us mean. Which is uncalled for considering, she is the one in the wrong. We get back home, and start giving everyone food. We open up my child’s food, and the employee literally sabotages my child’s order, to the point that it’s inedible. Someone at that restaurant squirted ketchup, all over the bun the whole inside of the burger it was literally dripping and oozing all over the table. I’m only writing this review to show the petty behavior or a grown adult over a 6 year old child touching a menu. What’s sad is we ordered $75.00 of food, everyone loved the food accept for our child who I had to go out and buy new food for. I also forgot to add my child cried and asked what he did to make that lady so angry. I told him sometimes people have bad days, and todays was the blonde lady bad day. And now for Bam Bam Burgers, I hope you can understand why I wrote a negative review. Good Day!

Came here while in the area, I can't have gluten and am vegetarian. Was able to get a black bean burger on a gluten free bun. It was fantastic! We also fries and they were incredible. I got the mango iced tea and it was so delicious. A lovely women who I believe is the owner came and chatted with us and was so friendly and nice. Staff were all wonderful as well.

Came here on a Monday after a track meet in the area. We were the only dine in customers. The place has a cool vibe. Love the indoor/outdoor dining. The person who took our order didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, she had no greeting. My husband and I had the classic Bam Bam cheeseburger. It had a sauce similar to thousand island dressing on it which I liked. However, the burger was not quite cooked to our liking. The bread and the meat tasted a little off, not as fresh. We got the cheese fries and onion rings to share. I enjoyed the onion rings and sauce. Our daughter had the chicken nuggets and cajun fries. The chicken nuggets were a little over breaded for her taste but the meat was good quality. My husband was hoping that the root-beer was served in a frosted mug but it was a bottled A&W root-beer. Update: Regarding the Frosted Mugs (one of your reviewers shared that you offer frosted mugs so this is what we were referring to) Overall the food was ok. We spent about $60. Would I go out of my way to come back? Eh.

We had lunch at Bam Bam Burger Co. today and it was simply DELICIOUS! We started with The Bam Bam chicken bites. Which were all white meat piece of chicken. Not processed but fresh chicken. We also tried the cheese fries and mac & cheese bites. Both proved to be great sides. For the main I ordered The Bam Bam Burger & my friend had The Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Again both fresh chicken & beef used. The staff explained that they source their meats thru a local butcher. Their dishes reflect that flavor for sure. In the current economic climate & prices on the higher side I try to opt for restaurants that will give me my moneys worth. That is what we got at Bam Bam Burger Co. Both my friend & myself left with “to-go” containers because the portions were large. So we essentially got 2 meals out of our experience. Score in my book! I highly recommend trying BamBam burger out, especially their Bam Bam Chicken Bites in the Hot Honey Glaze. *Almost forgot… The Fruity Pebbles Shake literally reminded me of my childhood breakfasts. Sooooo good!

Great fun place with excellent fresh food! The classic Bam Bam Burger is sooo delicious, pressed fresh each day. The chicken bites are cut and breaded daily and are so tasty with many sauces to choose from! Fries are hand cut and seasoned perfectly. Everything is delicious! Any burger can come on a bed of lettuce if you don’t want the bun. But the bun is so so good!

I had an amazing experience at Bam Bam Burger Co. in New Jersey! The Bam Bam Classic Burger is absolutely outstanding—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I also tried the crispy chicken sandwich, which was very good, and the mac and cheese bites were a delicious treat. Great food, great vibes—definitely recommend checking this place out!

Just had lunch here with my husband and it was so good! I got a Bam Bam burger and the bam bam sauce is amazing. My husband loved his burger with pork roll and egg. Shared the garlic parm fries. They could've used a bit more garlic and parm but the portion is huge and shareable for more than 2 as we definitely had leftovers. A lil pricey but a lot of food and good quality. For a seat yourself it was very clean. Tania took our order and brought us our food and she was very kind and attentive. She was always moving, very hardworking which is appreciated! Can't wait to come back!

Great staff, relaxing Shore ambiance, and pretty good food. Convenient location in town, perfect for a quick bite. The combo that I ordered only took a couple of minutes to come out, served piping hot. The fries embody the homemade nature of the menu, with the crisp and freshness that's to be expected from a natural-cut style of fries. Bam Bam's Chicken Bites were interesting: they almost tasted like a typical style of chicken nuggets using some sort of product other than simply a cut-up piece of chicken breast. These were fine, with solid seasoning on the breadcrumb. The chicken was moist, if not a tiny bit stringy. The Bam Bam sauce took it to the next level, as a typical mayo-based "Animal Style" sauce with a little bit of heat. I've heard varying opinions on the burgers, and I would be curious to try them even if they are on the pricey Five Guys side in my opinion. I particularly like the way that they emboss their logo onto each bun. I am curious to return and try more Bam with the Bam.

Came in for a burger, and not leave disappointed. Friendly staff took my order, and although it did take a while to come up, it was clear my cheeseburger was cooked to order. I got a single with cheese for around $11, which is fair pricing. Inside, the nice mural brings the beach feeling. This is definitely a place to stop in and relax, and it is also dog friendly.

Had a caramelized onion cheeseburger, side of fries and a mango ice tea. Wife had salmon burger over a bed of lettuce with a watermelon mint drink. Bit pricey but the food was delicious .. the place has a very cool vibe definitely telling you that you're in a shore community ..

This was legitimately the Best food I've ever had in my life. It can't get more simple than that. The order I got was the Mac and cheese burger and it was immaculate. It filled me up quickly. I also got a side of fries Wich were shocking because they were freshly seasoned unlike normal restaurants where it's just frozen fries that are just crinkly golden. The service was nice. There was a young polite man that served me he was very friendly. And on the outside the place didn't look so big. But when I got inside it was really cool. They had a mural that caught my eye. This was a 10/10 I will definitely be coming back here soon.

Amazing burgers and various creative specials that are mouth watering!! Chicken , shrimp, sandwiches and fresh cut fries are delicious ! Super friendly and convenient parking . BYOB !!

If you want a business model for how not to succeed look at you menu. Include fried for a 12 dollar burger. Do not do table service for a quick burger joint. On top of a 50 dollar two burgers and fries now we need to tip.

We went here today for a late lunch. The older lady behind the counter was rude and yelled at my child for looking at their cheap laminated menu. The burger was soaked in ketchup and the bun was soggy. place is under staffed as tables were full of customer's dirty plates, cups, and napkins. Price is a bit high for what you get but it's the food and customer service that is the worst. Do not recommend this place.

My sister brought over bam bam for takeout. The fries were delicious and the burger was much better than I anticipated. I was totally expecting more of a fast food approach - and man I was wrong. I totally recommend this spot!

Best burger in Jersey, all local and fresh ingredients!!! So worth the price. Such a great menu and the service is very nice. The over ambiance is great and i'd definitely recommend this place. Everything is made in house.

I love a good burger..however, I also love value. Due to the local hype, I was eager to try Bam Bam...hummm, disappointing. Space is very cool, but that was the best part. A single is $12 and a double is $14...Wow, add fries at $7 and a bottled 16 oz soda at $3...it adds up. Expected a better burger!!!! Shoulda gone else where!

Took 15 minutes to get burger, must of been backed up in orders, atmosphere was cool, surfer beach vines, I got the bam bam burger, the burger patti were thick and juicy, the bam bam sauce made it a good burger, burger was enjoyable I got a side bam bam sauce, was really good. Price is little over priced but overall great experience.

Very good burgers served in a platter and Bam bam insignia on the bun. I had the hot honey burger and pickles and bacon. It was made very well and unsweetened ice tea was my favorite, Pure leaf. I liked the decor too with stone walls and wooden tables.

I'm sorry to read such poor reviews because I think this is one of the best burgers around. It's a fantastic burger, a little pricey but I think worth it and the presentation is fantastic. I wish I took pictures before we gobbled it down. I do not have input on the store itself. I ordered on DoorDash and we were really happy with the quality.

First of all. I wanted to like it. I really did....for what it is, I believe it is a little pricey. $12 "Bam Bam" burger and $7 for fries. I could have gone to another restaurant and been waited on for that. A Thin beef patty similar to "wendy's" in my opinion. The cheese was not even melted on the burger. Fries are seasoned with their own "Bam Bam" spice. Just didn't care for it. There are better burgers in town for sure.

High quality burgers owners are very nice and attentive. Recently tried their chicken bites and sandwich. They were delish! Changed things up and offer a burger and fry for around ten bucks which is great value for the quality. Highly recommended

Such a great place! I read some of the other reviews and I can't relate. The space is so fun - especially when the garage doors are open. My experiences have always been positive. I love the burgers. I love the fries. And I love the option of making salads out of burgers or chicken. The staff has always been wonderful too. I highly recommend giving Bam Bam a try, so you can see for yourself!

Surprised to see some of these reviews. We've been quite often and love it -- good, fresh food. It's not cheap but it's high quality. We go with our baby and they always pull out all the stops to make sure we are comfortable and have what we need!

The burger is consistently good, and reasonably priced. We have been ordering from there for two years and have never had a bad meal. I would definitely recommend!

Took 10+ min for people in front of us to pay by credit card, despite 2 open registers. People behind us left. We should've, too. $25+ each for burger, fries and beverage. Burger nothing special. Absolutely no salt or seasoning on fries. No wonder it's not crowded. Can't understand accolades by 94.3 radio and NJ Monthly. Won't return.

Really nice place. Cute interior. Fries, chicken bites, burger n black bean burger were all delicious. Owners were very welcoming. Looking forward to going back.

We were looking for a quick sit down lunch and this place ended up being the perfect option. From ordering to finishing our food, it only took 15 minutes! Knowing that the price is a little more than we would normally spend on a burger, my fiancé and I decided to split one. The very nice employee told us about their lunch special that includes a drink and fries, so we split a double BBQ cheeseburger lunch special. The food came out very quickly. The mountain of fries were hot, fresh, and coated with bay seasoning which paired well with the BBQ. The thin burger patties were fresh and cooked perfectly. It was more than enough food for two people to split, we even had fries leftover. Love the atmosphere and the service!

Nice looking space and helpful staff but the burger was overdone and the fries were also greasy and inedible.

After reading a lot of the negative comments I figured some people were just yappin said f it and tried it out and fire burgers good fries seems they lowered the prices a buck or two from the comments. Still alittle pricey but solid burger and small fry is enough to split w 2 people

I really have to stop reading New Jersey Monthly and especially quit following their reviews. It's left wing, full of disingenuous Steve Abubato stories, and for some reason it's sent free to my office. Anyway, they mentioned some chef (no disrespect) has opened up a new burger joint in Point Beach. Well, we were feeling like overspending for a cheeseburger, so we tested it out last night. We shared, to go, one average sized burger and fries, over 18 bucks. Oh yeah, they did that "do you want to add a tip for counter service before we make your food" thing. No thank you. As I get older, I compare everything to our favorite Greek diner. 18 bucks gets me bread, slaw, pickle, soup or salad, entree, 2 vegetables, potato and dessert. Yup, I turned into my father. The cheeseburger was OK but way overpriced. The fries however were terrible. Burned. See picture. Nothing at this address ever makes it. So many restaurants in this building have come and gone, and they were all overpriced. I don't think Bam Bam is going to make it. The high school is a block away and the kids all go out for lunch because it's not cool to eat in school. Kids are looking for a $5, 2 slice and a soda student special, not $18 for lunch. One other thing, we were the only patrons in the restaurant.

Fantastic chicken sandwich! Order was quick. Don't sleep on the crispy chicken sandwich.

Really cool build out and the burgers are good. Really want to like this place. But even with prices going up everywhere this place is nuts. Most burgers run almost $17. And they're a burger place but the kids menu doesn't have a burger? So an 8 yo has to order a $15 burger? $123 for a family of 6; 5 burgers, one chicken finger, 5 drinks (bottled water). I saw the special was a $25 lobster roll. Bam Bam -- figure out a way to make it work at a Shake Shack type price point or you won't make it 2 seasons.

Wanted to support this local business. More about presentation than taste. Burgers are bland, very little meat (all toppings) and ridiculously overpriced for self serve. Fries are awful. Like eating burnt, soggy salt. $25 for a single burger, fries and a water. Won't be back.

Amazing ambiance, and the most delicious burgers!! So many great options. The Bam sauce is so good. Gluten free buns and seafood burger options for anyone who is gluten free or doesn't eat meat. This restaurant is a great addition to the downtown!

Wanted to support small local business and we did but unfortunately this was a one and done visit here. Prices were ridiculously high for burgers and shakes that were just okay. Space is great and we wish we would have enjoyed it enough to return again. Can go sit down and have a server at a local restaurant with better food for the price we paid at Bam Bam. I ordered a burger well and it was medium rare at best. Took it back and when I got the second burger they forgot the bam-bam sauce . I had to go back for the sauce. The fries were cold and soggy. No catsup given for the take out order. The branded buns were cute but it ended there

This place is amazing, don't listen to some of these bad reviews. Quality burger with quality ingredients. Price is right for what you get in return. Byob, brewery across street. Grab a 4 back and grab a burger, what's not to like about that.

Don't understand the hype about this place ? Went there when they opened up and wanted to like it but both my burger and my wife's burger were not good.... Our burgers were dry and way over cooked ......we might give it another try but it really isn't pulling us to go back....

Reviews are correct! Don't waste your time - service is absolute trash! After waiting for 35 minutes for a few sides, I left. No worth it! Lady behind the register couldn't even refund my card and gave me cash back‍

I have been a customer almost from the time they opened. Initially their food was top notch, however in recent months it has gone downhill. thei burgers are still good. i wish I could say the same about their sides. There is always a problem. Last time for $7 we got 10 onion rings that were pathetically small. I figured a bad night. Tonight the cheese fries had no cheese and were burned. I try to support local businesses, and we do order out a lot, but with only one good consistent item we'll be going elsewhere.

I had a very simple request, cook my burger well done. The girl at the counter said they make the burgers well done. I wasn't about to challenge a high school age girl in their policy, so I sat there and watched my 2 daughters eat. If the owner of this place reads these reviews, can he or she explain why it would be so daunting to leave a burger on for an extra minute or so.

I'm not one to ever write a Yelp review, but here goes. First off $14 for a cheeseburger? In my head I thought this better be the best cheeseburger I've ever had... spoiler alert it was one of the worst. The cardboard box the burger came in was basically a meat juice pool. The thing fell apart in my hands because the bread was completely drenched and soggy. The meat was also extremely bland and tasted unseasoned. You're better off driving 3 minutes down the road to McDonalds... you'll get a better burger for a fraction of the price.

The restaurant is sparkly clean and perfect spot for a yummy dinner with kiddos! There was something there for meat eaters and veggie eaters with fresh real potato french fries. The service was quick and friendly. We hope to make this a weekly family date.

Love this place! Burgers are awesome. Beat BYOB burger place at the shore. Quality ingredients, outstanding food. Great for families and take out as well.

I just had Wendy's and thought to myself how much better this Wendy's Double Stack than the insanely overpriced $15 Burger from Bam Bam. I mean- atleast make it good.

Really enjoyed this place on multiple occasions. Great burger place with their own thing and good fries as well. And to pair it with some great beers from the Last Wave brewery right across the street is a great night out.

Really, really bad crab cake sandwich. Was tasteless.....don't know what the crab was....fake seafood product ? Felt so ripped off..$18. I so wanted to love this place as my daughter loved the firecracker salad and the ambiance and location are great.

I visited on June 25th and ate a burger and fries. Unfortunately, this resulted in me receiving food poisoning. Avoid.
