Bam Boo - Asian Canteen

Yummy bday treat from the brother and sister in law tonight. Service was super friendly, and relatively attentive. Food was quick, and it really had a wide range of eastern cuisines on the menu. Faves from us was the Tuna Tataki (super fresh and beautiful colour) and the Kimchi Loaded fries & Banofie Wontons are a must have. Can’t beat a crunchy chip in super fresh oil. Super cute mini bao buns too, saves cutting them in half for sharing plates. Will be back to try the Sake Sours.

Absolutely incredible experience at Bam Boo – the food was authentic and bursting with flavour! The setting truly transported us; it felt like we were dining somewhere in the heart of Asia. What made it even more special was the staff, they were outstanding and went above and beyond. They even offered to take our baby girl for a little walk so we could enjoy our meal together while it was still hot. Such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much. Highly recommend this gem – we’ll definitely be back!

Wow what an experience!! We booked on quite a busy night but the service was great food came out in no time at all. Plate after plate quicker than we could sample each one and every dish was hot, vibrant and full of flavour. Honestly couldn't pick a favourite dish they were all fantastic but definitely treat yourself to a plum wine. It was everything we had hoped for and more!! Loved the chaotic nature of the decor. Its only been 1 day and i have already been recommending to friends and family because i want to go back. If you havent been yet you are missing out on some of the best Asian inspired cuisine around. We will definitely be back 10/10, 5 gold stars, cudo’s to the chefs and the staff, just hands down most inspired place to eat in warkworth. Thank you bam boo. For just being you.

The owner was very nice! The food was great, and 13 of us were a bit hard to sit all together, but she arranged to make tables available to us in a really short time.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! The food is beyond amazing—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The customer service was outstanding, thanks to Gareth, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Attentive, friendly, and professional—Gareth truly made our visit special. Bought takeaway, but just wanted to comment that the staff were awesome, lovely people. Friendly and very obliging when I asked questions about the menu for a friend’s dietary requirements. Food was delicious. Will definitely visit again when next in Warkworth.

The best find!! Amazing atmosphere inside! So well decorated, coolest little restaurant. Amazing service, super kind staff. The food did not disappoint. Amazing menu and meal. One of the best meals we’ve had. Seasoned and flavoured perfectly. The best fried chicken bao buns! Insanely cheap, I thought the price must have been a mistake. Definitely a must try. Overall amazing experience. Will be coming again!!
