A really old-school café as for the interior and decor it is a very nice and special place. A bit of a time travel (back to the 80's). The good stuff ends here. It was a cold October day and there was no heating, waitress working with her jacket on (stingy owner?). Toilets extremely dirty, no toilet paper, no liquid soap (there were some remains of a bar soap). When we were standing at the counter for a few minutes the tall guy asked: yes? We said we would like to order. He said no, you can only order at the table. No hello, no please, simply rude. Anyway, we sat down, we had to sweep the table of crumbs. The waitresses took their time, we had to wait more than 10 minutes (the place was not even a quartet full). The waitress then first went to the people who arrived well after us. Finally took the order. We had to wait another 10 minutes for 3 hot drinks! Again, two tables (arrived after us) were served before we got our drinks. The hot drinks were luke warm, almost cold. When we went to pay, the lady had like no idea where we sat, we had to describe the drinks in details and even then it was a struggle. The waitress who served us did not help her.
It is a shame, we used to visit this place as it is just by the river and used to be so nice after a long walk. We will avoid the place for a while after this experince but as the building is so cool we might check back, hopefully a new management can turn things around.
