We came around 5pm on Saturday last October and it wasn’t busy so we ordered right away. We had an appointment around 6pm so we thought we got a quick bite but took some time for the food to be ready. However, the food was tasty. - loaded fries: very good. The fries were crispy and the toppings were generously loaded & very tasty. - bambi taco: the ‘beef’ was tasty and tender. My favorite part was the crispy taco shell! - mole taco: mole sauce was good. They gave generous portion for the ‘meat’. - melty melt sandwich: delicious. Hubby said that the filling tasted like meat even though it was vegan.

Food is amazing! Atmosphere is super cool, funky, and eclectic. Service could be better. One of the girls didn't smile the whole time we were there. They didn't really pre-buss any dishes or check back to see if food came out ok. Then we saw her buss a table in front of us before greeting us (instead of on her back) after we'd been sitting for a few minutes without being greeted. Overall, I'd go back. Just some areas for improvement.

Plant forward, delicious, and a great vibe. Between 2 people, We split 2 tacos, loaded fries, and the melt sandwich and were so stuffed. The food was a little oily, but I’m kinda picky about that kind of stuff. We had to try the bam bam for dessert and a Jamaica to top it off. LOVE the Jamaica here, it’s not really sweet, but had a gentle cinnamon kick. Don’t snooze on the double deluxe taco — it’s so good. Very attentive servers!

Google
Came for the Taco's & left Satisfied !! Got 4x Bambi Taco's, which had a very nice Thick Crispy shell. I love a good crunch! The vegan meat they used blended well w/ the other ingredients, and all four left me w/ a satisfying bite after every bite!!

I was in Sacramento for a conference and stopped her upon my arrival. The ambiance is fantastic, bright, colorful. And the food and drinks were 1000! I highly recommend if you’re looking for good food, whether you’re vegan or not. I got the Loaded Fries, Fajita salad and a drink I can’t remember the name of. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere of this place is so cute! I love the decor, and the servers are so friendly and welcoming. I came with my vegan mom for the first time and we both were so impressed by how tasty the tacos were! I would highly recommend the double deluxe taco and avo salsa verde, that salsa is so refreshing and almost addictive by itself 🤍

Google
First time and it won't be the last. I couldn't decide so I bought one of each of their tacos. All super yummy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Give them a try!

We visited for second Saturday and love the vibe. MargRitas are good Bambi taco was really good. Fajita salad and deluxe taco were okay. Paparazzi potatoes were really good.

Yelp
I really like this place and the food / booze. Funky with a capital F. Paint splattered cracked concrete floor. Weird & confounding art on the wood plank walls. Plain Jane furniture that looks like it was stolen from a vintage 1950's mountain woods cabin. The menu is short. Got some belly warming / filling selections. I had the chick'n tacos and a bowl of beans. Both were soul satisfying. I'm an omnivore with a serious meat addiction. I did not regret the vegan meal here. I drank the Ipanema cocktail. Loved it. Citrus strong and salty. Like a day at a tropical beach. Shared the meal with my two girls. They are vegetarians. They also loved their meals. Recommended.

Yelp
I love the idea of Bambi but it doesn't quite hit the spot. My friend and I wanted tacos and thought "Hey, why not abstain from animal products for a meal?" We ordered the Bambi and Al pastor taco, along with the avo verde salsa. The avo verde salsa was my favorite and I could have probably eaten a whole meal of just that. The green apple and fennel were delightful and different. Delicious! The Bambi seemed promising. The Parmesan dusted shell caught my eye. However, you couldn't really taste the parm, and the crimini "beef" was just okay. The al pastor was more sauce than anything else, and quite messy with a hint of pineapple. The whole meal wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. Maybe will return. Maybe not.

Yelp
This place is SOOOO good, doesn't even matter if you're vegan. Our favorites: Garden chorizo taco (tied for #1) Al pastor taco (tied for #1) Double deluxe taco Brekkie sandwich (this was so delicious, I would have loved it even more if they offered options to add some veggies or avocado) Chorizo queso bean dip Our least favorite was the Bambi taco with a crispy shell, we prefer a soft shell and the flavors weren't as epic as the other choices. Definitely try all the different hot sauces on the table. Our favorite was the Yucatán sunshine habanero pepper sauce. I wish this was a chain and they were in other parts of California!

Yelp
Went to Saturday Art Walk (you can skip that) and stumbled upon Bambi Restaurant. 4:00 walked in and found a good table. Love it that it is Vegan, Tacos, AND cocktail bar! The bartender is awesome and takes extra care with your drinks. I had two Bambi tacos, we shared the Brussels sprouts and a side of excellent refried beans. Small menu but everything is fantastic. Loved the crispy taco shells, the umami from the criminal mushroom filling and the creamy slaw. This is on my repeat dial!

Shagun B.

Yelp
I can't begin to describe how amazing Bambi tacos is. My cousin and I tried for the first time and we were just floored. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and pretty decently priced. Hands down one of my favorite vegan spots in Sac now!

Yelp
This place is absolutely FIRE. I've been here one other time like a year ago and remember loving it. Finally returned to be reminded of its glory. The garden chorizo taco was tasty and so was the crispy chicken something i cant remember what it was called. You don't even have to be vegan to eat here if you like vegetables or you just like good food you would enjoy this place. The service could be garbage (it's not) and I would still eat here. I would still eat here if they threw the food at me instead of setting it down nicely. I would eat here even if they asked me not to. This place is delicious... TAP IN

Yelp
We went recently for a late lunch. We had the Chorizo/ Queso/Bean Dip and the Melty Melt. Both were delicious! Not healthy by any means but good for an occasional treat. The melty melt was really tasty. It seemed very heavy on oil though. The bread was toast perfectly too. The queso was very good and the chips just the right amount of salty. Service was great and the decor is bright and lively. I'll definitely go back and try something on the healthier side.

Yelp
I thought this place was totally excellent. I've been a vegetarian for a long time. Being a vegan is new to me (only a few months) so I was excited to try out this place. I thought the menu had a very good selection of items both some very basic things, which worked out for the kids... 1 year old slammed an avocado down... 3 year old went for the quesadilla. I ordered 3 items: First one was loaded fries, which I thought everyone might like. I really liked them. Had a creaminess to it and some parts of it gently reminded me of pickles (not sure what gave it that taste or if it was in my head, but I liked it a lot) and was a good complement to the starchiness of the fries... very nice balance of flavours... I got a the fajita salad, which was super delicious. They have a half and full size. I ordered the half size, which was huge! Nice crispy green and very refreshing after we walked about 2 miles to get there. It has a lot of seasoning on it, but also had potato and avocado pieces on it, which again, balanced things out. I would definitely order this one again along with those fries :). I forgot about the tortilla on the bottom, but luckily it wasn't soggy or anything like that. I also got the garden chorizo. This one was smaller, which would be good for someone who's not super hungry (but not outrageously small so no worries). I thought this one was really good I like the spice on it, which is what I expected from chorizo. People working there were super nice and fast. Area was big and kept clean. I felt really good and confident here, and we had a good experience. I couldn't believe I ate so much lol. I'll definitely be going here next time we visit Sacramento. Not sure if I'm allowed to post memes but you can search engine this one "vin diesel for my family tacos" I definitely felt that way when I was done it was so good.

Anelyssa D.

Yelp
The place is nice and I love that they played cartoons when I came in. The server I had was really nice and sweet. The other workers were kind and friendly. They definitely made my first experience here good. The bean dip was very flavorful and delicious. I ate the whole thing. I couldn't tell the difference from non vegan chorizo bean dip. The chips were thin and crispy. Pretty good as well. The Oatmilk horchata was delicious !!! I really enjoyed the drink. It has the perfect balance of not being overly sweet and had an lovely amount of cinnamon. The tacos I ordered were pretty good. But from traditional Mexican tacos they aren't quite similar in taste. I tasted more beans more than anything. The Bambi taco has a good crunch and cold slaw was a nice touch. Definitely had different flavors from my original taco pallet. Overall this place was a nice time and I enjoyed my food and left full. Definitely a recommendation

Yelp
Came across a video on instagram that was showcasing different vegan places here in Sacramento so I had to try it (no I'm not vegan). Walking into this place it was very welcoming and vibe to sit and chill. I went with a friend and we wanted to try everything on the menu but this is what we ended up having. Being this is our first time, I asked our server what her favorite taco (double deluxe) and it did NOT disappoint. I also ordered Bambi, Lani Mami, Al Pastor, and Brussels. In order from flavor profile (my favorite) this is how I rate the tacos #1 Al Pastor, #2 Double Deluxe, #3 Lani Mami, #4 Bambi. Definitely a place that I would come back to try something else on the menu.

Yelp
The name of the restaurant alone brings in curiosity! Bambi, the vegan restaurant. I think it's very creative. The ambiance is very laxed and chill. I felt welcomed and comfortable. Not too loud and very ecclesiastical with really bright and abstract colors as well as paintings. Love the music choices! Good little open space. Quieter streets in Midtown, which is nice. Service is top notch, and the food is superior! Very delicious, from the appetizers to main entree to drinks. The sauce over the potatoes--- what a twist and blast of flavors. The O- chata.. made of oatmilk, hit the spot! I dig the creative names on the menu as well. The vegan ahi crisps, perfect portions and flavors again executed properly. Affordable prices and worth every penny! Definitely a must check out for all Non- Bambi carnivores!

K P.

Yelp
Service is always good and attentive. Food is filling as well! You would never think you're eating vegetarian/vegan food. It's a vegan Jim boys but better. We can before the rush so it was empty, we were able to choose wherever to seat.

Shane S.

Yelp
My beloved and I recently went to Bambi Vegan Tacos for a meal. First off kudos for being all vegan. We started with the Patatas Bravas aka crispy smashed fingerling potatoes topped with a smoked red piperade sauce. This was good for a starter. We shared three tacos including the Bambi, Garden Chorizo, and the Al Pastor. The tacos were good. We felt they were a bit heavy. Perhaps to improve things would be adding more veggies to the tacos and would be awesome if they could make their own hot sauce. Service was on point. Glad we gave them a try.

Vanessa V.

Yelp
Fun and delicious! I picked this place to try with my friends today and it didn't disappoint -- thankfully so because I wasn't sure whether they would be into vegan food to begin with. Anyway, we tried their patatas bravas (recommend); their chorizo and bean dip (recommend); and we each tried one of their tacos. I tried the al pastor one, which was made with mushrooms instead of meat and it had chunks of pineapple (it was good, but it's a taco I could go without having again). I think the taco needed more acidity (the tiny lime wedge wasn't sufficient). Perhaps a lime crema would work well with it. My favorite thing about this place was my drink: The Shroomy!! See the photo below for the ingredients. It was a great flavor profile. We had their chocolate donut with chocolate mousse and orange glaze -- that wasn't great. Unless you like dark dark chocolate the it's probably not for you. Lastly, the service was great! Our server was very nice and quick! Appreciated his recommendations and honesty.

Kristyl M.

Yelp
Had the best vegan taco ever at Bambi. Loved the Bambi taco. I will definitely be back to try other tacos soon.

LaWanda A.

Yelp
I have never eaten vegan food but this food was so amazingly delicious. Would recommend this place for sure

Julie L.

Yelp
First off, every time I visit, I have Carlo as my server. GO Carlo!!! Last visit, ordered: Arnold Palmer Mexican Coke Avocado Verde Salsa Chorizo Bean Dip Potatoes Bravas Side of avocado slices The food is really good. I wouldn't say I leave there feeling full per say, but if I'm in the mood for some finger foods. Light tapas vegan options, this is where I would. It's a great spot for date nights. Plan ahead for parking.

Nikki K.

Yelp
I think the best word to start with would be, wow! If you are looking for a delicious and fresh vegan option in Sacramento this spot is for you. Not to mention the chill atmosphere and great service! We took our out of town family member who is vegan here and It blew us all away. My sis and I started with some strawberry lemonade hard kombucha and we shared the avocado salsa verde with chips and a side of nacho cheese. I felt like the salsa verde lacked flavor and was bland so I would not order that one again but the nacho cheese sauce was good! The three of us split the fajita salad, and mexy melt. We also all had an al pastor taco, double deluxe, and Bambi taco. My favorite was the Al pastor taco and mexy melt. All of it was good but bc we sampled so many different things it was easy to narrow it down to my top two must try.

Karen F.

Yelp
Everything about this place was spectacular! The place was quaint, the music good, staff super nice and the shining star was the amazing food! WOW!!! The chorizo bean queso dip and chips...oh myyyy goodness that was so yummy and filling! I also had the fajita half salad which had so much flavor! This was plenty, so a full size was not necessary. I washed it down with a strawberry horchata and it had fresh strawberry puree at the bottom. 10/10 stars all around...I just wished I lived closer!

Yelp
As I examine my friendships, I notice that I'm starting to lean into those friendships that take you out of your comfort zone and provide experiences unique from what I'm used to. Therefore, I was ecstatic when one of our favorite couples (who happen to be vegans) suggested that we visit Bambi Vegan Tacos to dine at after a day of bowling and drinking. When they initially suggested it, my wife and I were a bit skeptical. However, our friends reassured us that some of their other friends tried it and couldn't tell that they were vegan tacos. When we entered the establishment we were immediately greeted by an employee who ushered us to our seats. After providing us with menus, he circled back and served us water while taking our orders. Since I was starving, I ordered the following tacos: Bambi, Double Deluxe, and the Al Pastor. While we awaited our orders, we shared a couple orders of the Patatas Bravas (which is absolutely delicious and photographs well). Roughly 15 minutes later our server was bringing our orders to the table. Although I cannot see myself ever closing the door on traditional tacos, I have to admit that these tacos are scrumptious! Of the three tacos, my favorites were the Double Deluxe and the Al Pastor. I'm a fan of flavor forward food with a nice kick (spicy), and these tacos definitely satisfied my palate. However, with them being void of meat, I found myself longing for more...which is the reason why I will be making a return visit in the near future! If you're a vegan or simply curious to try vegan tacos, I highly recommend checking out Bambi Vegan Tacos!

Sarah J.

Yelp
5 star service and overall vibe! Love the colors everywhere, service was fast, host was awesome and attentive and food didn't take long to come out! We were seated right away at 7 on a Saturday. Food is a 3 overall, potatoes were undercooked and tacos were salted way too much. Bean dip as a app had good flavor but very sweet, no kick of spice at all. Grateful to see a fully plant based spot, so would be happy to come back again in the future when visiting Sac!

Bree R.

Yelp
Amazing drinks and food! The staff is really good at accommodating food allergies! They waiters are very knowledgeable about what's in each dish. Easy substitutions. They even have gluten free options!

Samaa F.

Yelp
Everything was so good. Excellent service, great ambiance, and the food is delicious. My only suggestion is please put less sauce on the potatoes please. It was so nice briefly meeting the owner as well; he is so pleasant. 10/10 recommend

Abbie N.

Yelp
Food here is amazing. Highly recommend trying the chorizo/queso dip, patatas bravas and Bambi taco. The staff here is friendly and food comes out quickly. I'll definitely come back to try out their different items. This time around I tried their special, beet poke tacos and they were good.

James D.

Yelp
With a lot of choices to choose from, my vegetarian friend, also known as my wife, took me here. Nice little artsy joint with a fulfilling amount of hard working hipsters. I mean that in a complementary way. The menu is interesting, exciting and totally unique. The food is even more fantastic than first imagined. Just wow! If you want something different and delicious this is the place. It called Bambi Vegan Tacos but it's a lot more than that. Truly inspirational food. This message was not roused by the available on site full bar. Thanks

Ashley H.

Yelp
It was our first time here so we asked for recommendations and were given detailed descriptions of each menu item which we found super helpful. We eventually decided on the Fajita Salad, Brekkie, and Al Pastor taco and they were all delicious. My personal favorite was the Fajita Salad because it was loaded with everything. The only "issue" we had was the Turtle Power drink was super carbonated so we kept getting hiccups the whole time which was actually quite funny.

Diane A.

Yelp
First time I came here, I felt like the space was small but very cute. The tables are pretty close together. The servers have always been great and patient with picky orders. We love the Bambis Tacos, they are so crispy and delicious. I've tried their barbacoa tacos and they're alright, too sweet for my taco liking. The chorizo taco is also very yummy but the pricing is a bit high for a taco. Must be inflation. Overall, I do recommend giving it a try, yummy vegan food in a cute location, can't go wrong.

Karishma M.

Yelp
Some of the best food I've had in a while, loved this experience! I got a watermelon juice known as juice the juice, the beans/chorizo/queso dip with chips as an appetizer, and the al pastor and double deluxe as my mains. The watermelon juice hit the spot although $7 was a lot for it. The dip and chips were cool. 1/3 of it was beans, 1/3 if it was the nacho cheese, and 1/3 of it was the chorizo. All 3 sections of the dip were done well. Both tacos were delicious. The tortillas are made fresh in house and you can absolutely taste it. The double deluxe reminded me of a vegetarian Mexican pizza from Taco Bell but in taco form. I could not tell you which taco I liked better. Both were just so good. I am visiting Sacramento from the Bay Area and I will absolutely be back for more. I am low key obsessed now and am plotting when I can come back for more. The nonalcoholic drinks menu looks amazing, both in mocktail form and regular beverage form. I want to have both these tacos again and also want to try the others. I fully stuffed myself because it was sooo delicious. Nothing was wasted. This hit a spot of nostalgia for me. My friend thought the food here was pretty good although she didn't fall in love with it like I did, so at a minimum, I will at least say, you will enjoy the food. Try it out!

Maya H.

Yelp
Possibly the best vegan food I've ever had! I'm not vegan but I do enjoy vegan food when it's done right. I was pleasantly surprised with this place and I highly highly recommend it

J C.

Yelp
Food starts out amazing & super creative but then becomes incredibly salty - everything I ordered here was delicious but way too salty. Could be the way they do the fake meat. Fingers crossed they realize this and tone back on the salt shaker. Other than that, customer service is okay - friendly but not mind-blowing. We were told to wait a while for a table until we finally asked about a table sitting open the whole time. In sum, a decent spot with lots of creative vegan dishes and room for improvement.

Theart P.

Yelp
Truly a savory place of vegan goodness! Wow, this place rock'ed my world in the best tastebud way possible. Bambi Vegan Tacos is an outstanding restaurant from service to food (drinks too!). I was in Sacramento for a quick business trip and found Bambi Vegan Tacos on Yelp. So glad I did. It was the perfect place for lunch. Had I been in Sacramento longer, I would have had dinner there as well the same day, it's that good. I tried a few different tacos from their menu along with their Patatas Bravas (crispy smashed potatoes). Oh so good. The tacos were top shelf all the way. Super flavorful, savory and complex. I don't think there's anyone on the planet that wouldn't love their food. Vegan or not, this place serves some authentic flavors. Great interior design too. Their space is quirky but completely tastefully themed. Clean and roomy seating, even when the place got busy which didn't take long after they opened the doors for lunch. I absolutely recommend getting there 10 - 15 minutes before they open to make sure you get a seat. Easy street parking all around the restaurant. If you're anywhere nearby, get over there and give them a try. You won't be sorry. Love this place!!

Chimere W.

Yelp
Since moving to Midtown this is my go-to The service and food never disappoint. I'm vegan but even my non vegan friends love the food. My favs are the melty melt and of course the famous Bambi tacos.

Nancy L.

Yelp
Delicious vegan tacos and more! Both my sister and I are vegetarian and was craving some tacos. We were so glad we stopped by! The restaurant was cozy with great ambience. The waiter was super attentive and saw that we were sharing our fajita salad so she split it onto 2 separate plates. We also shared the bambi taco and garden chorizo taco which we both really enjoyed. Our favorite was the bambi taco. Everything was delicious and we cannot wait to go back to try other items on their menu!

Dawn B.

Yelp
This place is amazing if you are a vegan and even if you're not you will love this small but earthy vibe restaurant.... Tacos... Nachos and they have special deserts... try it you will love it

Tony J.

Yelp
This place was fire. Absolutely loved the Al pastor taco. Service was great, place was definitely chill. Will def be back!

Jason M.

Yelp
The tacos here are amazing. I've tried all of them by this point and all are awesome, but the Bambi is my favorite. I could eat a hundred of them and still be hungry for more. I've tried their current special, pozole, twice and it is also mouth-wateringly good.

Destiny B.

Yelp
I've seen and heard great things about this place from the reviews listed on yelp plus associates, so this weekend I decided to give it a try with my partner. We asked the waitress for her recommendations pertaining to the most popular dishes they serve, she went on to say the melt overall so that's what we ordered out of the other recommendations. Once we received the food it was so OILY! We both tried to bare through it but you can literally squeeze the oil and it would drop onto to the plate. Decided to just pay and eat elsewhere. It's a first for everything. I won't be back though.

Mirjam D.

Yelp
Oooh, what a treat this place is! So nice to be able to eat everything on the menu. The place looks very cute and inviting, staff is very friendly, the food & drinks delicious (especially the tart for dessert). Highly recommend!

Spectra S.

Yelp
So my friends have been coming here forever and I've always missed the chance. Finally I made it, and it was so worth the wait. Everything I had was delicious. My friend and I shared several options from their menu. First off, the Rosemary's Baby cocktail is excellent. Next, let's talk tacos. Garden Chorizo: good, but my least favorite. It was heavier than the others and didn't shine the way the others did. Still delicious! Al Pastor: This is so savory and delicious. If you are a mushroom fan and you want some strong umami/savory flavors, this is the one. Definitely a dinner(?) taco, delicious. Lani Mami: this is like a Caesar salad with bbq chicken in a taco. Sounds crazy but omg, sooooo good. Seriously. It's so fresh, textured, excellent flavors melded perfectly. You will not be disappointed with this choice!! The Bambi: this is the clear winner for me. Absolutely delicious. It gives Jimboys with the fried tortilla dusted with parm, light and crispy, great flavor and texture. You cannot lose with this. Definitely walked away with this as my favorite. Honorable mentions: the Brussels Sprouts were amazing!!!! They were offered as a special, I sincerely hope they are added to the menu full time. Best Sprouts I've had that I didn't make myself. Avo Verde Salsa & Chips are very very good. Not my favorite salsa but the chunky sweetness with the spice was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu. I got the pozole to go and I can't wait to try it when I get home. I rarely leave reviews but this experience was worth the time. And my friend is an active meat eater and she loved every bite of the food. This isn't just good for "vegan food" it's just damn good food. Support a local sac business and give it a try.

Tanya T.

Yelp
Was looking for a new (vegan) spot to explore in Sacramento and I've got to say we were so pleased with how delicious the food and mocktails were as well as the over all vibe of Bambi Vegan Tacos. The service was ok, not overly impressed but also not bummed out about it. Maybe they were busy and understaffed... gonna give the benefit of the doubt on that this time! Love that they had so many fun non-alcoholic beverage options, my friend tried the Love herbal cocktail and I had the Joy one and we enjoyed them both (and yes, I was told I was glowing after drinking mine and I was in a very joyful mood... so maybe it had an effect?! ) The food was ah-may-zzzsingah! We shared the crinckle seasoned fries and each got a taco (the Al pastor and the double delux I think... ) Everyone around us ordered the bean dip which will be tried next time! We felt so satisfied, spirit, soul and body when we left. Of course sharing a good meal with a good friend helps! I would highly recommend and will def be back!!

Caren F.

Yelp
So two over my closest friends are vegan/vegetarians. Me in the other hand I am a carnivore! However, as a good friend, I like to be supportive and try new things. So one of them suggested this place, and let me tell you.. I couldn't tell the difference at all! I had the Bambi tacos and yum. It was so crunchy and tasted. I also has the cauliflower taco (I forgot that they called it) and another yum! For those who follow me, I rarely give 5 stars, but this place deserves it. The tacos tasted better than a few taquerias around the area. Will def come here again!

Colleen K.

Yelp
Food is soooooo good. Service good. Ambiance very chill/modern/hippy. Yum yum yum. A little pricey.

Shannon C.

Yelp
I live behind Bambi and was excited to take my boyfriend here. He parked in front and the two cars parked on either side of him started purposely honking and setting off their alarm. It was clearly this certain group since they all were turning and watching before he even got out of the car. Pointing and laughing super loud.. They were sitting in front of the window.... My boyfriend has PTSD so it breaks my heart seeing people be so ridiculous..... I can hear it from my place so I came to see what was going on... It was super awkward and embarrassing.. Apparently a not so welcoming crowd here and this place. :(

Mykah M.

Yelp
All the food is sooo delicious and satisfying , you forget it's vegan. I love their jimboys "dupe" of a taco. We came on a Thursday night and there were a few open tables the whole time, and food came out fast. We weren't the biggest fans of their dessert special that night, as It was banana creme brulee but they didn't mention the moderate brandy/ some liquor flavor. (Not entirely sure). But I think the waitress was in training so I don't fault her just wouldn't have gotten It.

Mr. G.

Yelp
First time trying this spot after it was recommended by a friend. It has a cool atmosphere and the service was great. I went around 430pm on a Thursday. I ordered the Bambi taco and the double deluxe taco. Both were very tasty and flavorful. Out of the two I enjoyed the Bambi taco more and I ordered another one. I will definitely be back again to try other items!

Mikayla M.

Yelp
The food was great, I tried the Bambi taco and garden chorizo taco and I preferred the Bambi taco but I would get both again. Good service and it's a nice vibe inside.

Amy O.

Yelp
On our way back from the Galleria mall.. and decided to call in for take out. It was 7:32 pm, and I finally had narrowed down what to order. The vegan son, was so excited that I would finally get to try his favorites. The phone was answered quickly and o was just getting ready to place the order. The girl over the phone states they were out of a few items.. Of course it was what I had on my list.. ughh Hopefully, next time I'll get a chance,.

Eleanor W.

Yelp
The food was amazing!!!! The atmosphere was charged with positivity and fun with a little mischief! Great place, I highly recommend it. It's always such a treat to come to Sacramento because there are so many vegan restaurants. Where I live, there is not even one. I have never been to Bambi's. I'm so glad I popped in to check it out. The servers are saucy and fun. I ordered a beverage called joy and a double stuffed taco. The server also recommended the el pastor taco- so I went for it and am so glad I did! It was fire It was full of flavor and a little bite. I ate every bite- and I was feeling pretty joyful by the time I left. If you're in Sac - you have to check this place out.

Yelp
I was excited to try Bambi because my non-vegan coworker was raving about it. I went with my friend on a Saturday around 1pm and we were able to get a table without waiting. The design/decor inside and outside were both very cute. The Bambi and Chorizo tacos were my favorite. Both were flavorful and I wouldn't have noticed they were vegan if I didn't know. The mushroom "Al pastor" just tasted like mushroom lol. My friend said the double deluxe and cauliflower taco were also good. I wish they gave complimentary chips and salsa like other Mexican restaurants. The service was ok. It took a while for the food to come out. After waiting a bit, the waiter came to ask us what we ordered again. :-/ The tacos range from $4-8, so definitely more expensive than your average taco, which is understandable. They also have some salad and sandwich options if you don't want tacos. Overall, I'd return and recommend.
