Not a great experience at all. My wife and my mother-in-law stopped in to see if we could work something out in regard to our daughter’s baptism dress. Our daughter is a smaller 1-year-old; she still fits some of her 9-month clothes. Back in July or so, we had bought a dress that we thought would fit. The employee who was there was really nice and explained everything thoroughly, and we completely understood the return policy. We had planned to have her baptism before she was one, but unfortunately there were circumstances out of our control, and we had to push it out a bit further. Our daughter never wore the dress. But hey, my wife figured might as well see if we could exchange or, if possible, give them the clothes and pay the difference or even just work something out. Heck, even if the owner (or who she thought was the owner) had just politely told my wife that unfortunately they can’t take purchases after 7 days, it would be fine and I wouldn’t be writing this review. However, my wife and mother-in-law were treated as if they were going to steal something, or as if they were beneath the store owner the second they walked in. No greeting, no nicety, just staring my wife and mother-in-law down with a look of disgust or like they were a nuisance. When my wife went to ask about options or see if there was anything she could do about the dress not fitting, the woman Karen just said, “NOOO, THE RETURN POLICY IS SEVEN DAYS!” Of course, we understand it’s a small business. We’re not trying to take advantage of anyone or rip a small business owner off. We simply had a question and we can take no for an answer. We’re not going to yell or get upset at someone for politely saying no or rejecting a return. But the part that really chaps my frickin’ ankles is how my wife and mother-in-law were treated from entering to exiting. And by looking at the other reviews, I see a nasty and disgusting pattern. I hate leaving a bad review for a small business, but the second you treat my family with disrespect and unkindness because of how they look, genuinely idgaf. Sales 101: don’t judge a book by its cover.

Had an unpleasant experience shopping here today. They questioned me and followed me around to the point of making me feel like a suspected shoplifter instead of a valued customer. Asked me if I wanted a bag for my purchase. Disappointed with the entire shopping experience and won’t be back.

Absolutely love this store. This is my go to spot to get gifts for my friends children. They have a great selection of cute/fun outfits that you wont find anywhere else. The two girls they have working the store are so friendly they helped me wrap my purchase. Also the magnetic pajama's?!?!?! SO COOL! Love this store and highly recommend this store to anyone with newborns and little ones.

First time stopping by. Had been wanting to visit since a close friend had gifted my daughter a piece of clothing from the store and always talked about how cute the selection was. I had been looking forward to this visit but left pretty disappointed. I was not greeted when I walked in, but then again, I may have been interrupting a break since the employee came from the back room. Still not an excuse. I did have my questions answered, but there was no willingness to help. She was too busy wrapping a gift. I was the only customer there the majority of the time and i only purchased because I was in desperate need of gifts and had no time to go elsewhere. I wasn’t offered the gift wrapping option, but by then I was just so uncomfortable that I didn’t care. I paid for my items and even said thank you on my way out. You guessed it, no response. Such poor customer service for such a beautiful boutique. ***Edited to add*** As everyone can see, I received a reply from management almost immediately. Karen, I appreciate your fast response and willingness to make this right; but after reading past reviews, I see that this has been an ongoing problem for the last few years. “Making it right” for each person who has spoken up, has not solved the problem. Because of this, I have chosen to politely decline your offer. I sincerely hope the service improves because like I’ve mentioned before, you have such a beautiful boutique. Best wishes.

This is my favorite baby store in San Antonio! I have been shopping here for all three of my girls over the last 8+ years. Karen has the best taste and always has unique and beautiful baby clothes and gear. Beautiful monogramming, too! I highly recommend if you’re shopping for your own kids or need a stand out baby gift.

I absolutely love Bambinos. They have the cutest clothes for my daughter and the best baby gifts too. We’ve also been able to stop by and pick up a birthday gift on our way to a party. Love their wrapping services.

I recently visited while on vacation and spent quite a lot. Never told I could not obtain refund. After sharing items with my daughter she purchased similar items elsewhere and within 20 hours I attempted to return for credit on my debit card and was told no refunds only store credit was the policy. Not told this ahead of time I asked about mail orders and returns and was told the same thing. Expensive lesson learned! BEWARE of Bambinos policy. Will never make a purchase again at this store again

I went to Bambino’s this past week and was very disappointed. The store was empty, I was the only customer in there, and no one offered to help. When I went to pay I was charged double the price. I’m the one that had to correct them right away. I also told them that I was purchasing a gift and wanted the price removed. When I got home I discovered it hadn’t been.The gift wrapping was very poorly done. I’ve shopped at this store before and never had this problem when it on McCullough St. Disappointed that since it’s moved to the quarry quality of service has suffered. .
