My husband and I moved into an RV several months ago. We decided to start a tradition where we order pizza from a local business when we get set up at a new place. Number 9 was Bambino's Pizza in Augusta, GA. It was not the worst we've had, but far from the best. The crust was doughy, needed to be cooked a little longer, so it was not crisp. More greasy tasting than fresh. I've found that places with less than stellar ingredients tend to pile the toppings on, I guess to try to disguise a mediocre product. Service was good though with friendly staff.

Pizza was super greasy with no flavor, I couldn’t even pick up a slice without the bottom of it falling off because of the grease. Chicken tenders are the consistency of rubber. Fried mozzarella, again, tasted like straight grease and was soggy even being fresh, the marinara sauce is watery as well. The “cheese bread” was alright just pizza dough with cheese on it and sliced up. The fries were the best thing, in my opinion.

Yum, this pizza was very good. Yummy cheese and pepperoni also absolutely delicious fries. I was staying in Aiken and asked the locals where the best pizza was and they sent me all the way over to this place and they were correct. I give it an 8/10 on my perfect Pizza scale.

The staff is polite, the food is great and the bathroom was super clean! Come in, seat yourself then order at the counter was very nice so we did not feel rushed. Everything is a healthy portion at a nice price here, make sure to try the chicken alfredo with extra broccoli or just a plain cheese pizza. I bet it all tastes better than dominos!

The pizza does remind me of NY, nice flop, yum sauce and the owner and employees are cool people

Been looking for a real darn good New York style thin crust cheese pizza and found it here tonite at this place! Yall definitely have a new repeat customer! Prices are more than reasonable! Try it for yourself!

WTH! Bambinos! Your food used to be great, and now, I don't know what's happened! Antipasto salad didn't have anything on it, keep in mind, I gave my husband the pepperonis for his meatball sub because he only had 3 small meatballs that were cut in half, pretty much a meatless sub and the slice of pizza was burnt! What is going on!!?? Pretty sad you pay for good food and get crap! 😬🤨😠🤬😡I would post the pictures I took, but it won't let me to this post!

Good food reasonably priced. I had chicken wings greek salad and cheese cake. Very good.

Havent been here for a while. Had the margarita pizza. It was quite garlicky this time more so than normal I would say. Still - if you want pizza this is the place to go.

I'm just disappointed in the quality of the pie. Way too much cheese & it had an overall grainy taste. The calzone was good.but it was definitely burnt ontop I'm sad of the inconsistent product. If they could just give the same each time in cooking & cheese it would be great.

Food is awesome on pizza that I ate big 2 slices and drink during lunch time. Service are awesome to serve us. Pizza Resturant look okay as plaza area, neighbor by gas station. Inside is Resturant look like Italians stuffs as famous movies and baseball decorated,

This place use to be so good but now the pizza has gone down in taste and quality. The ingredients now almost like little Caesars pizza. Don't know if they change ownership and went to cheaper ingredients, but please change back to the way. It was a few years ago. The last got the crust wasn't even all the way.

This place is super close to my mom's house and I drive from TN every month to help care for her. I asked a few friends if they'd tried Bambino's and they highly recommended it. So tonight I tried an XL pepperoni and large garden salad. Everything was what I expected and I wish I could remember to take pics before we finish eating, but lately I've been slacking. The only reason I left out a star is because my daughter didn't like how the center toppings slide off, but I like it gooey like that. I had half the salad and one slice and was stuffed. Five people shared the XL. Good prices and friendly staff.

Fast. Delicious. Had chicken park, meatballs oatmeal subs abs 2 slices pizza. Nice local place. Kid friendly. Good seating. Clean bathrooms. Great! Go!

The pizza was really good and was thin crust. Plenty of toppings and the service pretty good. The restaurant itself is dark and appears to be old which is not a bad thing. I will definitely be back when I visit again.

Bambino's is an unassuming pizza joint in a small gas station strip mall. Let's start by saying the pizza is pretty darned good! They cool up the traditional NY crust that is both crunchy and chewy. Their sauce is good and the cheese blend is quite nice. Unfortunately, they were low on nearly every beer. Thankk goodness for Yeungling on tap! The staff is friendly and the locals are welcoming and entertaining. In the future, I'll order my pies for takeout.

Plenty of options wether you love pizza or not. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, locals love to come here. TV's, bar area, kid friendly, and the food is great.

Great food at a reasonable price. $5.99 lunch special for 2 slices of pizza with a fountain drink! The Greek salad was awesome and their beer selection and bar area are on point. The service is order/pay at the counter and they will bring it to your table. Staff is friendly and attentive enough. For being in a gas station strip mall, it has a warm and authentic pizzeria feel. Again, the bar is perfect for having a cold beverage and catching a game or just enjoying a relaxing lunch or dinner. A must visit if you're in the area!

Kind of pricey but one of the best pizza places in the CSRA. Always have great service as well.

My brother suggested Bambino's to me, and it didn't disappoint! Very quaint place. Takes me back to my teen age years. Pizza slices are huge and delicious!!

Amazing food fair prices they have Yuengling Lager on tap at the bar and some TVs to watch sports on. Everyone is quite friendly. I go there to feed out of town guests and they all love it

Bambino's pizza is a must if you have a group to feed. I get lunch for my team a few times a month and always get smiles and muffled mouthful thanks. The team at Bambino's always try's to make your experience the best it can be.

Love my pizza well done & these slices were point on! My first time here so haven't tried any other menu items but it's certainly worth a go from pizza perspective. If you like lots of AC for dine in, not the place for you. This reminds me of a very small town family owned pizza joint & that's right up my alley

Got home to see how my food looked. Marinara sauce spilled all over the food due to the top melting and Wings were old/fried frozen, they look absolutely disgusting. They were hard and hairy . The Po boy had 5 boiled(should be fried) shrimp, wilted brown lettuce and really nothing on the sandwich...no special sauce that they advertise w/hard bread & was tasteless.The old Caucasian man had the worst attitude, tried to get a reaction out of me by yelling and accusing me of doing something to the food. I know how these things play out as I remained calm because the young lady at the counter even said something about the food ,however he was so nasty & unprofessional & insulted me. We've been coming here for years and it'll be our last. It also smells terrible and looks terrible there.

We have ordered from them twice this week because there's so much to try. Everything we have tried is DELICIOUS! Their hot Italian sub is our favorite. This is seriously a hidden gem

I had my 20" delivered via Door Dash. It was totally burnt on the bottom. Not crispy; burnt. It went in the trash after we scraped off the toppings to eat. Stuffed mushrooms were good. We'll stick to Romas in the future.

Of the few times Ashley had the pleasure coming here I don't think I'll be coming back here again. Me and my mom came Friday night to use a Groupon for Bambino's and when I went to get my food I was deeply disgusted how the workers were with the food. They had no mask on and no gloves and if I remember correctly there supposed to wear gloves during the co visit and they're not taking it seriously so why asking cashier why are they not wear masks and they say is not mandatory because unfortunately a kid passed out back there. But honestly they should be able to wear gloves no matter what and I actually made a comment that the next time you should be making sure to wear gloves when packing food. If they're not putting on anything to protect their skin their face or their hands then obviously they do not care about your health. I get the feeling I won't be back anytime soon unless they make changes I don't think I'll be coming back here. Honestly all restaurants need to make sure to wear mask and gloves when cooking around food

Haven't even gotten my food yet. Placed order over the phone at 6:06 pm and was told it would be 20 minutes. It's now 6:54 pm and we are still waiting for our food. We saw our order sitting there when we got here and we're informed there are just waiting on one item from our order. So the rest of it has been sitting for god knows how long and is going to be cold and not fresh and I'm sure the salad I ordered is in the bag sitting on the counter too. It should have been a sign to go somewhere else when my husband called in the order and every time he said mushrooms or olives the girl kept asking if he meant pineapple....... Save your time and go into Augusta. We finally got our food right before 7 pm and our pizza was cold. The wings had no hot sauce on them. The dough balls are so burnt they aren't edible. The Greek salad was the only decent thing we ended up with. They also didn't give us the dressing for our Greek salad or ranch for the wings. We had to go back and ask for them. They gave us one 2 oz cup of Greek dressing that was half full and were annoyed when we asked for a second for our large salad. And the place was empty so it wasn't like they were busy.

We ordered from this place to go and thought it would be great comfort food for dinner and a movie. We got the wings and fries and then a cheese pizza. My family is from New York so we have very high standards for pizza and I've got to say...I was very impressed with their pizza. The crust is we nice and thin like New York style pizza and the flavors were delicious! It's also very affordable. The wings were very good as far as the flavor goes but we were kind of disappointed that there was such a small portion of fries. Overall though the quality of the food was very good and it was well priced so I'd say it's definitely worth it to try it out!

On Christmas Day, I searched for a pizza place that was open for carry-out. Lo and behold! I found one online that stated they were indeed open at 11:00 a.m. Luckily their website let you order 24/7. So, I placed an order for 2 18" inch Supremes. Added my tip and set it for 12 noon 12/25/23 for pickup. At noon, my son who was my pickup called me and said there was a sign on the door stating "Open today 11 to 6." No one opened the door. I told him to just come home. Luckily I had made a Runza Casserole also and one of my sons brought a bundle cake. I had sent the money with my son because I always feel uneasy giving my info over the phone. The website did give you the option to pay when you picked up. It confirmed my phone number and looked like all was well. We finished dinner and I got curious so I called Bambinos back. A man answered right away. He stated they were closed and gave some feeble excuse about his software. I told him about what happened and how disappointed my guests were. He was totally unconcerned. I told him his customer service was horrible and I was glad I hadn't given our my card info. I also stated where I came from we'd offer a coupon or something for a customer's inconvenience. Then he busted out "Oh no no no!" I told him I'd just let everyone I know what happened. On Christmas Day yet.​

Ordered there pizza a few times and the pizza was just like the slices I had when I was in New York! Highly recommend this place!

Placed an order by phone and was told it would be 20 mins. Not bad.. average for a pizzeria. I went in after 25 mins and was told my food wasn't ready but give it 2 more mins. It took another 20 mins to get my food! The only reason this gets 2 stars is because the food is decent on this side of town. Additionally the employees always look annoyed. Bottom line .. if you want a better review be honest with your customers! If the food is going to take 45 mins.. don't tell them 20 mins!!

Awe Man.. disappointed today got my pizza (southern bbq chicken)home and it was had burn bubbles all over it. I should've checked it at the restaurant. I never had this problem before. This was our favorite pizza place. Maybe we will give it a break. Overall good pizza though.

Now I tried to support this business. But this makes it very hard when this is what you get. I called and placed a pickup order. I was told 30 minutes, and when I arrived they couldn't find my order. Then when they located my order it wasn't hot after they told me 30 minutes. Because I arrived in 20-25 minutes. Felt like it been done for almost 10-15 minutes. I don't mind my order being completed sooner than the allotted time. What got me is barely NO toppings on either dang pizza. No flavor and no toppings at all. This is NOT authentic Italian pizza. I could've made the dough and pizza at home. Spending over $30 I was highly disappointed and would not be going back. I could've went to Marcos and got better toppings and cheaper.

We drive from Evans to get this magical wonder. Totally worth it!! One of our top three in the CSRA. And just to mention our top 3 pizza places and the owners are blood related! That's why they are good!!

Best pizza in the CSRA! Best Italian food period! Match that with service that is always courteous and welcoming and you have what many restaurants have forgotten how to pull off these days.

This place has become a regular for me. I love gyros and each time I order it from here it's great. The staff are polite in person and on the phone. The prices are great. The only bad thing is where they are located it's easy to get lost when using GPS, right next to a gas station and tattoo parlor with horrible parking. But food and prices are great so I keep coming back. So far I've had pizza, Italian sausage sub, onion rings and Gyro all were really good

Pizza was pretty good I felt the prices were a little high but with a good pie all is forgiven

I ordered a 28" bacon and onion, an order of chicken Alfredo pasta, and an order of mozz. When the driver arrived to my door they handed me a gigantic plain cheese pizza. The driver called my bluff and had me reopen the box when i said my order was wrong. When I showed her. She agreed and took the pizza back and said they'd handle it. After an hour of no contact. I called bambino's only to be told "I'm looking at your pizza. It has bacon and onion on it" and i said well I didn't see any... and he said oh it's under the cheese... I said ok cool, then I asked about the mozz and chicken alfreda, he said "yeah it's sitting right here just reorder the pizza". If you look at any picture of their pizza on the menu. Not a single one has toppings underneath the cheese.. that's why they're called... take a guess.. toppings. Also you want me to redo my entire order and wait an hour while the pasta and mozz is sitting in front of your face that you just admitted to me was sitting in front of you? This is a disgrace to tri state pizza. As someone who grew up in New York, your customer service is absolute garbage and calling me a liar saying my pizza had toppings when it clearly didn't was even worse. What a disgrace.

I heard good things about Bambino's we have looked for good pizza and subs since moving here and have found anything. We arrived and went inside. No instructions or hostess. We took a table and noticed that they were to only ones seated. A line started coming in and lined up at the counter, I assumed for take out or pick up. After sitting there for 15 minutes we had not been approached by any wait staff yet the line was being helped. My wife got a menu and we went outside and called in our order. Very simple, a pepperoni stromboli and a sausage calzone, along with their hot Italian sub. After waiting outside fo 40 minutes wife went in and got the order. At home my calzone had about six pieces of chopped sausage and it had no ricotta? Now anyone knows stromboli had no ricotta and calzones do, the reason my wife got the stromboli. It was very dark on the bottom and hard an enormous crust where it was pressed together. Meaning less room for fillings. At that point I opened the "sub" and was like Really! Its a store bought soft bread roll, untoasted with romaine lettuce from the salad prep, it was cut to that size, diced tomatoes and red onions along with shaker cheese again from the salad prep. It was supposed to have capacola ham, smoked ham, pepperoni and salami, it had what look looked like turkey cold cuts but not ever all that were advertised! So much for a hot italian sub. I will keep looking for a good place in Augusta!

If you have the chance to eat pizza here and don't... then you've already made a huge mistake. The pizza is fantastic, the staff cares... the restaurant has an overwhelming authentic feel to it.. like when you are inside, you know you're about to get some damn good pie! If you have a herd to feed, go for the 28".. just make sure you've got somewhere to put it

I eat pizza every chance I get which is very often and I must say Bambino's def has some of the best in augusta. From the dough to the homemade sauce it was absolutely great pizza!!!!! Highly recommend

Authentic NY pie! So good! The service is great, prices are good too. We've had the sausage sub and wings too, but the pie is the best! Awesome joint to starts weekend! I highly recommend it to anyone missing pizza from up north.

Pizza is great fresh but is terrible the day after. It is pricey so I would expect it to taste good the next day. Not sure why it was this way but it was.

I always love visiting Bambinos. Their pizza is real nyc style i.e huge. I ordered a medium and had issues fitting it into my car. I love their pizza and calzones.

This used to be a great pizza joint. Went today and was hugely disappointed. Our pizza was undercooked in the center and soggy as if it had been put onto a wet pie plate. They offered to remake it, which we accepted. The second one was still soggy, burnt on the bottom & undercooked in the center again. Totally disgusting.
