The petition — signed by over 2,000 people — highlights sharply reduced foot traffic and revenue (Houston reported slower business) and stresses that customer‑facing operations are both more exposed to illness and among the first to suffer economic losses. It argues that postponing tax payments would help keep establishments open and allow them to pay employees; the effort is aimed at attracting the attention of the governor and state comptroller. Fantastic experience, Robert and Matthew are excellent at the rum making trade, all Bamboo Bay Rums that I’ve tried are delicious and I’ve enjoyed them neat and mixed in different cocktails. Definitively worthwhile having a bottle or two at home and also stopping by for a visit.

Awesome local spot — highly recommend! Went to visit, Bamboo Bay Rum Company... what a cool spot! The location is super convenient, and the vibe is great. The tour was fun and really interesting, loved learning how they make the rum (which is all local and absolutely delicious). The space itself is awesome, full bar, plenty of tables to hang out, and food trucks outside. Perfect place to grab a drink, learn a little, and just have a good time. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend checking it out!

Amazing atmosphere and great people! Not to mention the surprisingly good tour on the rum manufacturing process! Robert showed us the entire process of molasses fermentation! We could taste the different kind of Rums, while enjoying good music! Will definitely come back more often!

I spent an awesome Saturday afternoon at Bamboo Bay rum distillery. As someone who doesn’t know much about rum, I was amazed by the distilling process. Thank you, Robert and Matthew, for the explanations. The rum drinks were outstanding, but they also had beer on tap. The vibe is super chill and welcoming. Absolutely five stars!
