Bamboo Bistro Westgate

This is my favorite chinese/thai restaurant I have ever been to. I have recommended this to everybody I know. It is by far my favorite late night dinner spot. The food is fantastic and the portions are great for me, I almost always have food left over for another meal. I love everything about this place, especially the employees, specially Gavin, who is one of the nicest people I have ever met. The atmosphere inside is relaxed and quiet with nice soft lighting. The drive through is shockingly quick - I have never waited more than two minutes between ordering and getting my food. I come here all the time, often multiple times a week, and I will never switch to a different late night drive through restaurant. If you go and enjoy the food, make sure to come back a few times, and they will treat you so incredibly well. I hope the best for this restaurant and all of its employees.

The appetizers were yummy (especially the shrimp, it had a fluffy texture to it). The General TSO is my usual safe choice but we had the basil wings as well (very interesting + savory) and Shanghai Beef (a bit tough in my opinion but the sauce was very good). Portions are pretty big, if you are a light eater then I would recommend to not order much or be prepared to take some to go.

Bamboo Bistro Westgate is a great place to eat, serving Asian cuisine with a delicious taste in the mouth. many choices of menus and a variety of selected spices that provide their own pleasure. the service is also good, friendly and the atmosphere in this restaurant is very comfortable.

I never take pictures of my food but when this absolutely decadent feast was placed before me I immediately took out my phone to document this meal. I cannot overstate how delicious this food was. Wowwie.

It’s a nice place. The food is good and I come here often. I wish they would make the restaurant look more updated. The paint looks really bad on the outside, as does the drive thru menu board. It’s all old and run down. The prices aren’t even listed. Overall the staff is nice and I would and have recommended this place to others.

I loved the food and the service. I got the orange peel shrimp with vermicelli noodles and I was in love. My husband kept on trying to steal some off my plate because it was so good. He had the orange peel chicken with white rice and he also throughly enjoyed it. We had some crab wonton with a sweet sauce and it was really good. Restaurant also provides complimentary soy sauce, hot sauce, sweeteners, and chop sticks. Overall I really loved this place and I recommend it to anyone.

Quality of the food was excellent. Portions large. Best hot and sour soup I have had in years. General tso chicken was very good. If you want a fancy place, it is not for you. If you want good food in a comfortable family sort of place; you have found it ! I will definitely return. My kind of place.

If you start to miss poor quality food on economy class flight, come here. All these for 36, and heavily salted. The server repeat different orders back to me every time, and successfully missed part of my order. What’s more? there’s extra 6$ for late night orders that you won’t see anywhere else. LOL
