Google
I order frequently from this restaurant. Today I ordered curry chicken which is always good. Also ordered chicken chow mei. Absolutely no veggies in it besides about 2 small pieces of carrots and no egg. No taste at all. Had to throw it out. Won’t be ordering this item ever again. Waste of $15!

Google
Allow me to begin by saying that Bamboo Chinese Food is the premier Chinese restaurant in Conway/Myrtle. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food is consistently delicious. While Chinese cuisine can sometimes be unpredictable, this establishment never disappoints. What truly sets it apart, however, is the exceptional staff. They are all highly professional, and Victoria stands out as one of the kindest individuals. She is always ready to assist with any issues and offers excellent recommendations for what to try.

I ordered the steamed dumplings and the lunch special of chicken chow mein. The online order was very easy, and the staff was excellent when I picked up the order. Steamed dumplings were delicious! Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was very salty. The flavor was good, but too salty for my taste. After reading all of the great reviews, I was disappointed.

Google
Great chinese buffet ! They have a fantastic selection ! I had to go back another day to sample the entirety of food ! The only complaint is you pay before you eat so they upcharge you for gratuity which kneecaps your waitress if she is a good one , i like to tip good waitstaff more than the traditional 15% but when the establishment takes it up front ,if you receive bad service youve paid , if you receive good service its not paid enough but because they took it instead of me giving it , well i just dont feel obligated to reach into my pocket again because if i received bad service they arent goin to refund a portion of the tip ! Nice restaurant, bad pay tip up front policy

Google
Best Chinese food in the area hands down definitely my favorite spot since I have moved here, food is always consistent, and is always ready by pick up time

Google
Ordered the General Tso and crab ragoons both were nasty!! Chicken was chewy and not spicy rice was mushy. The crab ragoons tasted like they sat in grease!! Over all wouldn’t eat here again!! People please learn what good Chinese is.

Google
We got take-out for the first time. We like veggies dishes so ordered veggie lo mein and veggie fried rice. It was excellent. The fried rice was nice and moist and the lo mein done just right. Both had fresh vegetables and more mushrooms than we expected. The dishes were not salt laden. We will return. Glad to find a decent Chinese restaurant in Conway. Recommend!

Google
Nice place, ordered out kung pao chicken with rice and egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken. Crab Rangoon, chicken lo mein, szechuan beef all good. Didn't feel like cooking ordered out. Fast online service. 2 thumbs up.

Yelp
Service: very good, accomodated wife's vegetarian wishes, 15 minute wait for food but it was busy with Grubhub, and to go orders Food: Very good but we ordered run of the mill stuff, veggie egg fu young, plain noodles, veggie Singapore mei fun, small chicken with broccoli, sauteed broccoli, bokchoy, and snow peas in brown sauce. I can't take off stars for not being Michelin grade, not realistic expectations. We enjoyed our meals.

Yelp
The service was just sufficient, the menu numbers couldn't be used to order so communication was a problem, and the food was bland. I wouldn't bother with this place again.

Yelp
I ordered delivery through GrubHub, so unfortunately, I don't know what the staff is like. The food is really what I'm judging here: Soggy rice, unseasoned "szechuan" chicken, and stringy veggies?? And also...what's with the fried dumpling batter? It's that of a waffle or something I could've made at home.

Yelp
Ordered here 1st time ever. Got a large soup, she mixed together the Egg Drop and Wanton, said it was good like that, I said sure. I got 2 spring rolls. Total $11.82. Waited about 15 mins. It was 9:25pm. Springs rolls worst I've ever had. I've eaten at dozens of chinese restaurants over the last 40 years and spring rolls have always been good. NOT THESE. Totally damp doughy moist bread w barely any filling inside at all. Just gross. Soup, totally bland, no flavor AT ALL, not even salt. And the filling of the wanton just had a weird taste to it. Waste of $12. Never go there again. Yuck.

Yelp
I am so livid that I can't even eat. Im like did this really happen? I ordered in-house to go. While ordering the cook came up front and brought the cashier food. I saw the plate and it was a dish with lots and lots of Bean sprouts. I got all excited ( I got spoiled in Western Mass with the Huki lau in the 413). I love bean sprouts in my pork fried rice, so I inquired about putting some in my pork fried rice( up charge $1.00 for PFR). She said they couldn't because southerners don't like them. I'm like I come from Massachusetts. She also told me that her food was not made the same as the costumers. Not one dish has bean sprouts on the menu but they cook for the employees? Not to mention, they have don't have Beef TeriyakI, but they have Chicken Teriyak? So we brought home spring rolls, crab rangoons Moo Goo Gai Pan. The spring rolls were under filled, and greasy. The rest of the family had pork egg foo young (not on menu), General Tso's chicken was dry and under sauced. I'm am never ordering again. The employee's meal looked so delicious and I could think of the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. NO BEAN SPROUTS FOR YOU. Just not right. My 3rd strike was, they only serve coke products ( I drink Pepsi). In my response to the owners note. We tried you before and it was ok. We gave this establishment another try. I didn't say egg foo Young wasent on the menu, it was PORK Foo Young! You need to ask for it to order it. Beef Terriaki on a stick, you dont serve it. I didn't want CHICKEN! The spring rolls were under filled and greasy! I don't drink tea, coffee, juice. Pepsi is the what I drink. All it would have taken half a sec just to put beans sprouts on top Of my rice and I would Just glad your employees eat better than the CUSTOMER! your rice is bland and maybe you started putting bean sprouts and water chestnuts in the specialty rice it would be worth the upcharge. No never again. You're food isn't worth the money! What I do know is next time, I'm going 2 doors down and order Habach.

Yelp
The service was bad, and the food was nothing special at all. Me and my coworkers went here on lunch break and couldn't even finish our food.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in a 50 mile radius! I would even say that they are even better than the places back in NY. Definitely will be going back.

Donna P.

Yelp
I had heard some very good things about this restaurant and decided to try it even though I have another Chinese restaurant just minutes from my home Boy I am glad I,did first the young lady taking the order (Taylor ) was very friendly, very polite, very informative making recommendations on items I had not tried before, it is a nice small quiet atmosphere and exceptionally clean. The food was fresh, delicious, and without question the best Chinese food I have had since I moved here 16 months ago I really could not be happier so much that even though I have to drive 22 minutes from my home, I will do that every time try this wonderful small family owned business on hwy 544, You will not be sorry

Louis F.

Yelp
Food was ok but not great. Had Hunan Shrimp from lunch menu. It was supposed to be spicy and barely was so. Wife didn't like her meal. Young lady at the counter was not friendly nor engaging. Food was so so, customer service was so so. Don't think we will be back.

Anthony L.

Yelp
I often gauge a new Chinese restaurant by the wontons! They ended up being excellent!! Absolutely delicious! The menu is chock full of delicious options! Also think the prices very fair! I observed table after table of older patrons! Again, a great sign! They look for value, quantity, price and quality! They were friendly, and quick to the turn!! Basically, all of my boxes were checked! I guess it is my new " go to" Chinese!

Pam R.

Yelp
Excellent food and huge portions! Nice people too. Glad we heard about this place and tried it.

Yelp
The food is fresh and plentiful, great flavor! Prices are little higher than other Chinese restaurants in the area, but well worth the extra, because, let's face it, most little Chinese places in Myrtle Beach tastes the same . Not this place!

Christine K.

Yelp
Well I ordered shrimp lomein & so much rice! Lomein noodles not rice. Last time was perfect. Trash this one!

Stephen G.

Yelp
Lots of food and of was delicious. Best we had around here. Give a try you will not be disappointed. Steve G

Yelp
This newly opened restaurant will not make it if they don't get a better cook. The prices and food were much better with the previous owners. This is honestly the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten.

Randy Z.

Yelp
The food is awesome! Pork egg rolls are ore off the hook! Food is cooked perfect. And service with a smile. The ambiancence is fine that doesn't matter. Fast friendly service. Don't let reviews of previous owners comparison sway you. EAT HERE!

Lisa B.

Yelp
The food is very good, pricing is good and great portions. Very tasty, even better than Golden China that was in that spot previously.

Kris O.

Yelp
First time ordering here and I got the Hunan Chicken and a pork egg roll. It was ready for pick up in 20min, large portions, and tasted great! Also, their spicy mustard is actually spicy so that was nice lol. Will definitely be ordering here again.

Michael M.

Yelp
So disappointed!! This place is nothing like Gold China used to be. Fried rice is horrible and General Tso chicken is not spicy. Food used to be so much better with previous owners.

Richard G.

Yelp
Ordered general tsos chicken. It's advertised as being spicy but failed to deliver. It was bland and without any bite whatsoever. Spring rolls and Crab Rangoon were good. We may wait a while and try something else on the menu.
