While my employer's office is being moved, I have found it difficult to visit the city for friends and events after work. I decided to use a day pass at Bamboo to come enjoy downtown without worrying about rush hour traffic after work, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. WiFi was stable and fast, there were plenty of areas to move around and space to work independently. As noted in other reviews, I agree the staff is very nice and helpful. The tenants were friendly and others seemed to really like being there. The office is also located near Grand Circus, so there's a lot of good food, entertainment, and transit access nearby. No complaints, and I'll be back the next time I need a place to focus :)

The staff is very kind and the coworking is the best price-value compared with the rest of the ones in Downtown Detroit. Plenty of desks and was very quiet the day I went.

Bamboo is a great space for creators (like me), business owners and entrepreneurs to grow in the space. I’ve met so many new people and grown my business. I recommend Bamboo to anyone looking to network and get some things done. They have a podcast room, separate spaces to work.

The best co-working space in the heart of downtown Detroit! Very fun curated monthly events anyone can attend. There is also monthly co-working days where you can check out the office, meet people and have a snack. The staff is also the best, shoutout to Richie for the best service and accommodations.

I've been a Bamboo member for more than three years now and it just keeps getting better. I initially joined Bamboo coming back to work after a maternity leave. Their mother's room was amazing! It gave me the confidence to come back while pumping knowing I would have a dedicated space to pump and refrigerate my milk. From a business perspective, it's been amazing to headquarter my business at Bamboo. With eight conference room hours/month and unlimited phone booth hours, there is no need to keep a traditional office. I also get to have locations in Royal Oak, Detroit, and Ann Arbor. All the offices are amazing. Each location is centrally located and has easy access to parking which makes it easy for clients to come in for meetings. The community managers in each space are SO welcoming and have helped connect me to amazing business owners and additional resources that have helped my business grow. They also host a number of events and it has helped create a sense of community versus being isolated while working remote. When I come into the office each day, I always see people I know. I can't say enough good things about Bamboo - it's one of the best business decisions I've made!

Had a fantastic experience at last night’s popup at Bamboo Detroit! The event was perfectly timed at two hours, making it both engaging and efficient. Huge thanks to Malika for her excellent communication throughout the process—everything was seamlessly handled from start to finish. Looking forward to coming back for future events!

I just participated in "Tech Tuesdays" as I needed an alternative workspace for the day. A very positive experience! The staff was pleasant and helpful, the work space is clean, full of natural light, generally quiet, and offers all the amenities one needs for remote work. Plus, as part of TT: lunch, coffee (recommend the Nitro cold brew!), and a happy hour to mingle with fellow small business owners. Best of all is the location on Wash Blvd, with plenty of on-street parking and when you need a break, walkable to retail, restaurants, parks, and downtown clients. Highly recommend!

Everything we wanted and more! My colleagues and I seek out local coworking spaces when traveling for work. We were all super impressed by the space, the amenities, and the staff. Highly recommend working here on your way through town. We’d be members if we were based here!

Yelp
The new Ann Arbor location is beautiful and functional! Went to a summer happy hour event they hosted which was set up in their indoor/outdoor rooftop area. Nice looking space, a rare rooftop in Ann Arbor, and perfect for some drinks/snacks and mingling!

Yelp
Came for an art exhibit for Ari B, a local photographer. The event was very well laid out and the refreshments were great. It was an overall good experience. The team did a great job

Yelp
Bamboo is by far the best co-working space. If you are a local or growing company and are looking for a home for your business. Bamboo is the place to be! You will be surrounded by friendly staff + incredibly amazing local entrepreneurs. P.S. they have really fast WiFi by Rocket Fiber and free delicious coffee by Ashe Supply.

Yelp
Awesome space and staff. Check it out. The people who started and run this place are committed to Detroit. Great idea and concept.

Yelp
This is the second time we had the opportunity to use this shared office space. Both last time and this time, we walk into a clean, well taken care of space. We were able to easily rearrange the room to accommodate what we needed. There were adequate chairs and tables. Our event went really well, and was well attended. The only downside was not being able to find the door stop so we could prop the door open. This became a hassle when you were the person on the outside of the door and were not able to catch anyone's attention.

Yelp
Great service, great space! Amanda and Terri at the front desk do a great job to make sure your experience in the community is the best!

Yelp
My review is NOT based on the space. It is based on my interactions trying to get a space. I called at approximately 9:30am. The system seemingly forwarded me to someone who sounded like he was awaken by the call itself. I tried to inquire about about renting conference or office space for a short term need as well as applying to become a member. The person, "Yao" was not interested. Besides seeming surprised by the call and not identifying the call for Bamboo (he picked up saying "hello") , he acted like I was wasting his time. He told me the space was not available, yet supposedly didn't have his calendar in front of him. I asked how did he know then. "I (he) just know cause we give tours every day." I then asked if I they could accommodate me by charging me the rate to rent the conference space but allow me to use one of the unused offices. Again he quickly shut me down and said "I am the office manager and I say "no"" Ok. Then when I asked about membership he said, "It's not cost effective for you". Really? Amazing how he was able to deduce that without asking my needs, usage, goals, budget, etc. They identify themselves as "Bamboo is a welcome matt (it's spelled wrong their site) for businesses entering the city." Apparently "Yao" didn't read that part. Too bad.
