Cute little cafe. Decided to Swing by around 2 pm because I was craving Vietnamese desserts/beverages. Service - the lady was super sweet and explained to me the drinks I was curious about. Also explained that I could adjust the sugar levels. Ambiance - clean with a few cafe style seats inside. Food - ended up ordering two drinks (#6 and #12) with 25% sugar level. Drinks are definitely quality with lots of delicious stuff inside. For what you get, the prices are very reasonable. There were also some lychee and coconut jelly which I’d be curious to try next time, along with the mochi pandan waffles.

Bambu always hits the spot with its wonderful variety of drinks. The ube waffle is spectacular—crispy, light, and just the right amount of sweet. I love coming here just to relax with a good drink, a pastry, or dessert. The service is always friendly, which makes the experience even better.

I stopped in here yesterday and ordered the #3 Awesome Trio. It had red bean, white bean, mung bean paste, taro paste, pandan jelly and coconut milk. I would say the most notable items in this drink were the pandan jelly, taro paste, and mung bean paste with the pandan jelly probably being my favorite. It was noodle like in appearance, slightly chewy, and texturally pleasing. This drink was heavy on the red bean and white bean which you could probably tell from the images on the website, but I am typically a fan of sweet beans so I didn’t mind this too much. I did not see white beans on the menu for this drink so I am not sure what was going on there. I’m not sure if I didn’t mix it up enough or if it was just heavy on the beans, but I was just eating spoonfuls of beans at the end since they clumped together and would not fit through the straw. Otherwise, I thought it was pretty good and had a nice mix of flavors. If I was to stop by again, I would probably try the taro lover as it has most of my favorite ingredients. I have also seen some people knocking the customer service here, but the lady who served me had good customer service! The parking in this area is probably going to be a struggle, but I lucked out and got a spot right in front of the establishment. It is a little pricey but it is a fun treat to get here and there throughout the summer.

This fall Bambu alongside two other companies will be providing the desserts for the 3 Day event. Going with everything local in twin cities. A good friend fawns over Bambu! Both are foodies so I trust their disclosure wholeheartedly; giving the benefit of any doubt; I am so excited to try their goodies especially for the upcoming event; coronavirus interrupted our initial dates and were going to be simple and use cub foods bakery; however, the group has grown for this event and so has the mind. Great smells and very cozy set up! Will update review on food after the sweet feast with my pal here!!

You have to go here! So cute on the inside, clean and pleasant. The boba tastes so good and authentic. Service is friendly. Most underrated boba place in the twin cities. My mom and I will be back!

Google
We used to love going here. My hubby was a huge fan of the mangonada and I loved the matcha w/mango boba. Unfortunately, the reason for us no longer going is the customer service. The younger asian lady was ALWAYS In a bad mood and rude!! (I think she was one of the owners) :/ I hated the way she treated my husband. Talk about horrible customer service! We got to the point and discussed whether we should go or not, having to deal with her crusty attitude. I see from other reviews we werent the only ones she's had an attitude with. If you dont like dealing with people you're in the WRONG industry! The older lady was always sweet and we always hoped she would be the person ringing us up. Honestly, having this feeling about dealing with that rude individual wasn't worth it. So, we've decided to give our business to other boba shops. There's definitely a lot of amazing ones around the Minneapolis area. Goodbye Bambu!

Google
This Bambu location has been one of the top go-to locations in the Twin Cities for dessert drinks. It's consistently made and the service is also quick. Recommend getting the Pandan Waffle and the Awesome Trio when you stop by. The location is on Nicollet so finding parking may be tricky, I usually get the few spots located right outside the shop.

My drink was delicious. Passionfruit milk tea with mango jelly. Absolutely amazing flavor.

Yelp
The best quality boba drinks in the country. The Bambu chain is the top place is get any kind of boba drink. The mango smoothie is my fav it's really thick with real mangos. I love the refresher drinks with the basil seeds. I sub any boba pearls for the red jelly water chestnuts aka red tapioca with water chestnuts - the crunch is delish. I can't get boba anywhere but here. It's the absolute best!

Yelp
I ordered the #10 and a pandan waffle. Both were delicious! I loved the textures of the pandan jelly and red tapioca in the #10. For the waffle, I loved the pandan flavor, crunch on the outside, and mochi-like texture inside . It was really good, and I should've gotten a 2nd one .

Yelp
I have been craving for asian coconut desserts and ended up here. This cafe is cute, green is their theme. Reminds me of the pandan colors they have in their fruits. They have a list of Che' which is the coconut desserts to choose from. It will list the fillings for each kind. They also have bubble tea, smoothies, coffee, bubble waffles, macarons, and mochi. The gal who was taking my order was super patient with me while I was waiting for everyone to text me their order. Then she offered to put the ice in a separate container since I have to drive 30 minutes back home.

Yelp
As a big fan of Che I really enjoy coming to this spot and trying out any of the menu items containing coconut milk and red bean. Service here is prompt and they are happy to answer any questions you may have. For those who are bean adverse there's also a whole menu section of boba teas. Pricing is higher on Che when compared to normal boba but this makes sense since there are more ingredients required to make it. On the upside it is more filling. Parking is on the street, but I've never had an issue finding a spot even during rush hour.

Yelp
Love this place for delicious dessert drinks! I usually get their brown sugar milk tea but my sister bought me a Vietnamese coffee and it was delicious! I love the combination flavors of strong bitter coffee and the sweet condensed milk. Ambiance is delightful and service is ok.
google avatar

Yelp
Best known for their Chè Thái aka a refreshing, dairy-free Vietnamese dessert that every Vietnamese kid grew up loving. It is made with Asian jelly, assorted fruits, and a yummy coconut sauce. You can even customize it to your own tastes.

Yelp
The level of care for my door dash order was impeccable! They even pack a bag of ice to keep everything cold too! Thank you Bambu!!!

Yelp
Venturing down Eat Street after being at a restaurant nearby.... BAMBU has been on my list to visit. The inside is gorgeous and perfect! It was comforting and had nice seating areas and tables. Some great photo moments as well. We saw recommendations to try 1,2, 3 or 10. We tried 1 and 2. These drinks were beautiful and out of our normal drinks of choice. We like to try new things and this was a lot of fun. 1 had basil seeds, grass jelly, fresh coconut and lychee like fruit. It was less sweet than 2 and had a fresh flavor. I thought it was fun slurping up the grass jelly and they reminded me of a gummy worm in texture. The lychee like fruit in the bottom was the only thing I didn't love in it as it tasted canned. I would have been ok with those in it and would order without in the future. Despite it looking nice as a visual layer. 2 had a sweeter flavor at first and looked prettier than mine. The creaminess was really nice, but the beans were a little grainy and unsavory for our palates. Overall, I would be back to try another and make sure it has the grass jelly! Thanks for great service and a beautiful space.

Yelp
I've been to multiple BAMBU locations in California and what I love about them is that they're a solid, reliable boba and dessert spot! This location is no different! Great location right on Eat Street. Who can eat on Eat Street without a little something sweet after?! BAMBU is different from other classic boba spots - they're known for the chè which is a Vietnamese dessert drink with variety of components like pudding, beans, fruit, jelly, etc. I love these desserts especially when I am having a mid-day treat or lighter dinner. But if I'm looking for a post-meal treat at BAMBU I usually do opt for their milk tea which is also great! This location again is like most BAMBUs where it's a fun environment to hang out with friends or family, go on a date, or just chill on your own! The staff here is also very friendly!

Yelp
If there's anything you have to get here, it's the pandan waffle! I've been coming here for years and it's literally the only thing I get. I give this place five stars just for their pandan waffle alone. It's unbelievably crispy on the outside like a normal waffle but glutinous-y/slightly chewy on the inside. The best way I can describe pandan flavor is just a really enhanced vanilla. They make the pandan waffles to order so you'll always get a nice fresh, hot waffle every single time. Just know you'll have to wait a little bit due to them making it to order but trust me it's so worth it! My favorite thing to do is get food at Quang Restaurant and then bop on over the Bambu for their pandan waffles for dessert since it's literally right next door!

Yelp
I've been to this location more than 10x, each time I go, I typically get a fruit tea or milk tea drink. It's a nice ambiance to just chill and hangout with friends so that's how we end up here even though it's okay. The milk teas do not taste amazing to be honest, compared to the other boba places in the area. I think they do their avocado smoothie pretty well though. The che, my husband gets most of the time but he thinks it's okay and a bit overpriced. However, he could be just more picky since he is part viet. In general, when I think of bambu, I do not think of Amazing milk tea or boba per say, but more so decent fruit drinks with a nice vibe.

Yelp
I've enjoyed Bambu every time I've been here. I love the mangonada and the Bambu favorite, but I'll try new drinks from time to time. It usually doesn't take long to get your drinks and the service staff are all kind. There's usually kpop music playing and I love it!

Yelp
the vietnamese desserts/drinks here are amazing!!! they've also got bubble tea. my go to is the fruit addict che. their bubble tea is also really good. the drinks look and taste soo good. the baristas are nice, but sometimes it does take a while for them to make the drinks. i love the ambiance of the cafe. there's many tables and a tropical vibe. their location in minneapolis is on nicollet ave, so parking may be difficult. overall rating: 9/10

Yelp
Has the best brown sugar milk tea in the city. We discovered the spot by accident and we never regretted having found it. They hav good selections of drinks and desserts.

Yelp
It's been awhile since we've ordered bambu during the pandemic but was craving it. A nice treat even though it's raining and cold. I'll have to try a yogurt next time. Good service and they did a generous upcharge for splitting a small smoothie into two cups for two kids to make it easy on us parents.

Yelp
Bambu was such a fun place to go to, when you first walk in you get very California and new York boba tea spots.the decor is amazing and the feel is very modern, I really want all the furniture and decor inside this place so bad. The menu is pretty big, they have their special drinks and they have standard boba flavors, but the variety is extensive when it comes to flavors and types of drinks, I got the Pina colada smoothie and it was delicious very sweet, the food variety is lacking but I usually don't go to bubble tea places for food!

Jonathan G.

Yelp
Best smoothie I've ever had. I got a coconut smoothie with strawberry and Boba and coconut milk. Straight Goated

Tuyen N.

Yelp
Service was really slow on a Sunday afternoon. The place appeared neat and cleaned. Love the chair and feel to it. I ordered the Pork Po-boy and Chè Ba Màu. To my surprised the po-boy came in as a flatbread, and rectangular shape bread. Although it was toasted, it wasn't crunchy, and a tad bit soggy. However, the pork was delicious and combination of the pickled vegetables, fresh sliced jalapeños and cilantro made it tasted wonderful. As for the Chè Ba Màu, it was too bland, and the tapioca was too chewy!

Elaina Journey R.

Yelp
It is so extremely hot in there!!! Like, it is 87° outside and it is MUCH warmer inside. Turn on the AC or open a door or something. The treats we got were pretty good but not worth boiling in there while waiting.

Yelp
First time trying this place , and yup just like the name bambu favorite is my favorite :) , For traditional iced coffee , taste good but the boba was bad ! I'm definitely coming back for sure .

Yelp
In summary cafe for refreshing DESSERT DRINK. This is a hipster style place for Vietnamese che, which is pretty much a dessert drink like tri-color (or if tri-color & boba tea had a baby). They also have boba and some Vietnamese food options (banh mi, etc.). Although the drinks were good- I do think it's a bit more pricey than your average boba place and it honestly doesn't feel worth the drive/hassle in finding parking. It's also not really a welcoming place to hangout in my opinion- not much tables or outlets. There is parking in the back but it's every limited- so like most places on Nicollet, beware and watch out for the one ways. Will I be back? Probs- but I wouldn't go out of my way for it either.

Yelp
Bambu is my fav bubble tea spot in Minneapolis. They have such a wide selection of drinks. I truly enjoy their Vietnamese iced coffee. It is very thick and strong tasting. Their toppings are free to add on which is a perk. They have a tiny parking lot behind the restaurant but there are only few spots.
google avatar

Yelp
Dropping a star Came here to try the shaved snow. Would not recommend, at least the green tea one. It's not sweet and it's very bitter. I couldn't get myself to eat it. I had my girlfriend eat it all. The only thing I ate was the green tea pocky that came with it. Way overpriced for what it is. Cost $8+... the toppings of red bean and kiwi were not good. Kiwi probably came from a can. Red bean was bland and had no sweetness. Asked for condensed milk, but barely gave any. This is not the place to get shaved snow.

Yelp
This place is one of my favorite !!!!!!! I love the vibes, smoothies add to die for, owner and staff are so nice and polite, been visiting here at least twice a week. They have a great coconut ice cream, the waffle is super delish, honeslty everything is so good, fresh and clean. The spicy Mango smoothie is one of their best sellers and to be honest it's one of my top favorites too. Do yourself a favor! Go there!this weekend! You'll thank me later

Yelp
I love this place. I really wish we had one back in Iowa. I had this franchise in Las Vegas as well. It is very consistent. The service was exceptional, especially when she heard I was taking some back home they made sure it was sealed tight for the road trip.

Yelp
First time ever trying Chè - vietnamese dessert drink. I'm surprised I've actually never heard of this either before and I've ate at viet restaurants all my life. It's very rare to find so I love that we have a standalone shop that specializes in this drink. They do offer traditional bubble teas here but the real star is the Chè drink! They have lots of different combinations for the drinks. All of which are very unique, fun and cool blend of whole ingredients that you can chew on. Avocado Drink - is very very thick so it's hard to actually slurp up through the straw. It basically taste like liquid avocado smoothie. It's not chunky so you do not need to worry about chewing it. Pandan Waffle - I expected a more distinct flavor of pandan but this tasted exactly the same as traditional Hong Kong Style Egg Waffle. I do love the fact that this is served piping hot! It's also a huge serving size so it will fill you up! I also had the #1 which is BAMBU Special - fresh coconut juice, logan, basil seed, coconut jelly and pandan jelly. So healthy tasting! They do offer a spoon to eat these drinks so they are all filling and heavy but the straw works fine. It's a great spot to chill, they have asian music videos playing as well.

Yelp
Had passion fruit juice and waffle, juice is very authentic and waffle is very sticky tasty. Would revisit

Yelp
It is nice to see these California-based franchises come to the Midwest, specifically Minnesota. Che is one of my favorite desserts, so it is nice to have a store dedicated to it. Here are some initial impressions - Bambu provides a bit of fresh air to the Eat Street area as one of the newer establishments - Good atmosphere for all, with a particular focus on yuppies (think Ikea modular furniture for a young bachelors pad and Asian pop songs) - Menu is fairly extensive and differentiates against all other stores as only one focused on delivery of che (competitors such as Pho Tau Bay and Quangs offers other products) In my two visits, I ordered: - Che Ba Mau (3/5) - Che Trai Cay (3.5/5) The che's are decent, though I personally don't think it tastes any better than a Pho Tau Bay's che. In fact, the Che Ba Mau at PTB has less ice, higher portions, and is cheaper. We are talking about $3-4 price difference on an item that probably has an elastic demand (to my economics majors...) Regardless of taste and what not, this place will probably do well given its freshness, ambiance, and target segment. It may even knock out complementary competitors such as Sencha and what not (if it were located on University of Minnesota campus). I likely won't return, unless I am taking a friend out to try it since there is no major value proposition that will sway me back to it. I am happy to see new additions to our already vibrant food community in the Twin Cities. Thanks for reading!

Yelp
This is a great place and I am really looking forward to when they open their second location. Great service, lots of yummy Vietnamese desserts. If you're looking for a good bubble tea place this is it. I love the fact there are several images of their different desserts on the walls on top of their bubble tea options. One of my favorite things to get is their waffles. I would not recommend coming to hang out, especially on a hot day. It gets way crowded in there and even with the patio seating in front it's crazy. Get stuff to go and enjoy.

Yelp
Excellent products. I love the Hazelnut mocha. Perfect caffeine amount combined with caramel

Trance Q.

Yelp
I ordered the tricolor drink and the taro in it was spoiled, I told the owner and tossed it in the trash can right in front of her , the only thing she said to me was oh really am sorry we'll double check ... That it nothing on let me refund you or make you another one or a different one , what a customer service right ? I paid for a spoiled drink and she was ok with that I will never go back there I will tell all my friends about this so less people will go there

Yelp
The first time I went to Bambu was in Texas and I am ecstatic that Minneapolis has one now, too! If I lived closer, I would be here everyday. My parents are here often, too :) Bambu is a Vietnamese dessert cafe. In addition to che, they have many options, including smoothies, milk teas, coffee, shaved ice, pandan waffles, and my favorite, yogurt! Here are just a few of my favorite choices: Bambu special, which has fresh coconut, pandan jelly, logan, basil seed, and coconut water Summer delight, which has red tapioca, mung bean, coconut milk, jello, grass jelly, and pandan jelly Fruit addict, which has lychee, logan, red tapioca, jackfruit, palm seed, jello, pandan jelly, coconut, and coconut milk My utmost top favorite item is the combo yogurt. It's very similar to having tart frozen yogurt with the addition of strawberry, kiwi, and mango. Yum-mee.

Yelp
Tried this spot for the first time last night and I already came back today for seconds! The owners are super nice and courteous and the drinks are delicious! I got the BAMBU favorite (#10) and it is LOADED with tapioca, pink chestnut bits and pandan jello with a tasty coconut cream milk. I ordered it with 25% sugar since I'm watching my sugar intake and it is still so delicious! Even my daughter loves sharing it with me!

Yvonne B.

Yelp
Given that this is a chain, I'm very grateful they came to MN. I love Vietnamese che (the main dessert drink they have). It is extremely refreshing in the hot, humid MN summer. It typically has a coconut milk or half and half base and is filled with all sorts of goodies like tropical fruits and jellies. My personal favorites are the Fruit Addict (love the longan and jackfruit) and the Bambu favorite (a mix of crunchy & chewy things). Please, PLEASE get the pandan waffle if you come. It's fresh, so it does require a wait. Unlike a normal American breakfast waffle, this has an additional mochi/chewy texture. For those who are unfamiliar, pandan is a leaf and is used for flavoring like vanilla would be (that's why the waffle is colored green). It's extremely aromatic and the waffle also has a hint of coconut milk, which is an awesome combo. Love Bambu!

Yelp
Grey place to meet your friends and order some good drinks and talk. I met up with my friends here and we chatted for 2 hours. The atmosphere was super trendy and staff are friendly. Drinks were sooo good and I enjoyed it a lot. Would come back again.

Yelp
I was so, so excited when Bambu announced it's arrival to Minneapolis. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever, so I'm a strong believer that Minneapolis can never have too many dessert places. I've now visited this place multiple times and have tried many different things on their menu - some that I recommend and some that I don't. Specialty Drinks: These are amazing. They have multiple different types and flavors and come reasonably priced with many different toppings that come included. Nothing is too overbearingly sweet which is great and you can substitute any topping with another one for free. Pandan Waffle: Again, amazing. Great taste, comes out fresh and warm and is quite unique. I haven't seen this sold anywhere else around the cities. Bubble Tea Drinks: Not terrible, but not a fan. There are definitely better options when it comes to milk tea and boba in the cities. The tea doesn't taste freshly made and the texture of the boba is mediocre. Shaved Snow: NO GOOD. Decided to give this a try after seeing all these drool-worthy pictures of their shaved snow on Facebook. Sadly, I was overly disappointed. First off, it's crazy expensive and barely includes any toppings (besides pocky and some drizzles). I ordered the green tea one and had to pay extra for kiwi and red bean toppings. Don't get me wrong, I'm willing to pay more if it tastes good but it was absolutely terrible. Shaved snow is supposed to be fluffy and sweet - I am a HUGE fan of green tea, but the green tea shaved snow had absolutely no sweetness to it and was super bitter. Thinking that the sweetness of the red bean would help, it didn't. The red bean was also bland, not sweet, and tasted like it came straight out of a can. Definitely a huge disappointment. The ambiance of the entire store is cute and modern too. They decorate it very nicely with large pictures of all the drinks so you can get a good idea of what you'll be getting. They have a huge TV on the side that's always playing some sort of music video which is pretty entertaining and some games on the side too. They also have outdoor seating. Overall, I'd come back again and again for the specialty drinks and pandan waffles but not so much the bubble tea or shaved snow.
google avatar

Yelp
Fresh, fun, and freakin' cute! This is my go-to spot for all things bubble tea. I'm also absolutely obsessed with their smoothies- they use fresh ingredients and they're all priced fairly. In our last visit, I got the avocado smoothie. My friend got the taro smoothie and the other a tri-fruit yogurt dessert drink consisting of fresh strawberry, mango, and kiwi. Each was just the right amount of sweetness. I devoured mine in what felt like seconds. Not to mention the interior: Good God! It's so beautiful in there. Good amount of seating and just about the perfect lighting. Highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
I've been to this place ever since they opened. A lot has improved and I am in love with it! One of my favorite places in Minneapolis it's always a must for me to stop there. Bambu you have done amazing!

Yelp
Suuuuuuper cute place.. I love their bubble tea. After having Pho soup this is a good option. We have this Passion Fruit Bubble tea. I like the colors and style, furniture, decoration and the staff are very friendly. Also I like this place because they close at 11 pm.

Yelp
I love coming to Bambu, however not so much this location. I still have a hard time finding parking lol. Despite that, I still love coming to bambu! I decided to try something different so I got the fruit addict. So yummmy!!! The cashier was very helpful and friendly. We got our orders relatively fast.. waitied about 5 mins or so after putting our drink orders in. Will be coming back to bambu to try different drinks! If you're in the area, stop by and try it! They also have bahnmi sandwiches too!!! Super yummy!!!

Yelp
Bambu found a missing hole in the Minneapolis food scene and filled it! As a milk tea/boba veteran I thought I had my dessert drinks all in the bag, but I never knew that there was such variety with Vietnamese drinks too! The menu is large and varied with all kinds of fruits, tapioca pearls, jellies, and beans (but no jelly beans? Nah that prob wouldn't work) so making your drink selection might be a bit intimidating if you get overwhelmed with having choices. I'm giving Bambu a 4 star rating because of a 3 star drink experience and a 5 star experience: 3-star: I had the Taro Lover (bc I love Taro of course) and I was disappointed with the flavor overall. The ice in the drink did not mix well and splashed all over the table with chunks of ice that were so huge that they never really melted. The drink was kind of watery and didn't taste like much of anything. I didn't think I'd ever go back but a friend of mine wanted to try it so we went back. 5-star: This time I ordered the Smashed Avocado and my lord was this drink amazing! The creaminess that the fresh avocado provided mixed with the sweetness of the condensed milk and crunchiness of the shaved ice had me in heaven! It definitely changed my mind about the drinks here! Definitely going to be coming back! Just a lesson that you should always try everything twice! Haha

Yelp
What the hell. I had no idea this whole time (ie. 28 years) about the expansive world of Vietnamese dessert (Chè). I've had basic boba tea and tri-color dessert drinks before, but Bambu's variety of Boba milk teas, Vietnamese espressos & blended coffees, and fruit smoothies are so impressive and fun. I tried the #2: Bambu Combination with red, white, mung bean; taro, pearls, pandan jelly & combo jelly, and coconut milk. It was sweet, had a little creaminess to it, and full of different textures. My favorite was the pandan jelly - so chewy, kinda like drinking/eating gummy worms if you're into that too. I also tried the pandan waffle - seriously, love the chewy texture! And the interior is rad too. It's not a huge space, but it's bright and clean, with pops of color and very entertaining Vietnamese music videos. It was a good time. Other info: - They're a west-coast based company that recently came to MN - They have a small parking lot - Offer a 2 for $6 deal with select items - Most drinks are around $5-6

Yelp
Aesthetically pleasing and the staff is super friendly! This is one of the better Bambu's I've been too...and I've visited them in Cali and on the east coast. I really commend these people for doing a phenomenal job!

Yelp
Amazing pandan waffles! I came here because I want to try the Vietnamese che dessert. However, the pandan waffles blew me away. It was crispy and soft on the inside. I shared one with a few friends, but I could have finished the whole thing myself! I also tried the #10 bambu favorite. I loved that it was not overwhelmingly sweet, like most dessert beverages. It had a very good balance of flavors. Once again, I was obsessed with the pandan jelly and everything else that came with it. The toppings were chewy and not hard. I can't wait to go back for more desserts!

Yelp
Stopped in for dessert and ordered 2 mochi and a strawberry yogurt. I loved the chocolate mochi, but not a fan of the pistachio. The yogurt was good, I want to try more things! The menu is SO extensive and I literally don't know what anything is...I feel like I will need to research next time on what to get but everything looks great and the space was really awesome. I will note that people were eating food that wasn't on any menu at all so that is confusing for a first timer( it did look good but no clue on price or what it actually was:).

Yelp
Shaved snow desserts! ! -tried their green tea flavor -total yumzzz!! With fruits mangos & strawberries & rainbow mochi& chocolate wafers on top of the padan waffle -love love love!! Love the green tea flavor-! -the shaved snow so pretty- -looks creamy like ice cream slices layered-but it's not!-it's dairy-free !!- -extra points on that.. especially for lactose intolerant ppl like me!! -reminds me of the korean patbingsu-also shaved ice dessert concoctions. . -definitely be back more!! My new fav place -so far loving everything on their menus!! -keep it up! O yea..their lemongrass beef burger Bahn mi is awesome as well -so much meat!!-tasty too-reminds me a wee bit of the thai sausage because of the lemongrass flavor-love it!! -but recommend sharing as the beef burger is one big long pattie size of the bread loaf-unless of course u love lots meat in ur sandwiches -!! So my friend and I order and share the grilled honey garlic pork Bahn mi and lemongrass beef burger Bahn mi..

Yelp
Since it opened, every time I walked past Bambu (usually in a post-Quang stupor) it made me realize that there had been a hole in my heart since moving to Minneapolis that Coco and other Tawainese-style boba places in Southern California used to fill. Bambu has totally filled the infinitely customizable boba void. On my first visit, I got a taro tea with egg pudding and also tried my friends' more adventurous drinks off their specials menu. Everything was spot on. The toppings/add-ins were the perfect texture and not too sweet and the teas were tasty, too. They also had samples of the pandan waffle which was surprisingly delicious and a completely new texture/flavor for me. I enjoyed the extremely clean and fresh looking decor and the cozy fireplace. It seems like it could be a great place to post up and do some reading with a bubble tea, especially once it starts warming up again. Service was friendly and fast! I will definitely have to add this to my go-to desserts/snacks list of eat street spots.

Yelp
I'm Really Mad at Ashley C for telling me this place exists. While I've been able to resist the donuts at glam doll I think I'm going to be way less successful at resisting Bambu. For one half of the menu if full of fruit smoothies with yumminess added which feels like some thing I can justify as health food.. The chewiness of the Jellies is an addictive sensation. I had what was references as a tri color dessert, it wasn't what I was expecting from my many trip to quang but it was very delicious in it's own right. I might be on a mission to try everything on the menu. Those gosh darned pandan waffles are so yumms. I don't know how Ashley C was able to share hers. If anyone had approached my waffle there would have been some hands slapped away! I think I'll be making a stop there this weekend. Get ready to see all kinds of check ins there :)
