Came for dessert after lunch. There are many options to choose and all are tasty and delicious. Shaved ice is cold and yummy. Make sure you have people to share with because it's huge. Drinks with boba or che are always good options too. Che is very filling so be sure to save room if you go after eating a meal like we did. I like the Bambu special or combo because they put real fruit into the cup. But be careful, it's very filling. If you can't eat it all, you can save it for the next day. Fruit is still good as leftovers.

Tried coming here for a few years. Couldn’t get here except on sat afternoons and it’s always packed. Stopped by on a weekday Friday right at opening time, and it was completely empty. Service was great. Tables and seating area are thoughtful. Single, double tops, a sofa, a dining table size larger table for group study or just to spread out with a laptop were all available. Drinks are not my combination or style and I chose one of their top drinks… but I hear it’s a Vietnamese and a BAMBU classic and you should def go! I’ll try a regular plain Vietnamese coffee next time. Plenty of parking but my friends have been carjacked at this exact parking multiple times, so you need to watch where you’re parking and keep an eye on your car and random minivans that are circling the lot and never ever leave cash or bags in your car. The worst is the side entrance of Kim Son & Pelicana chicken. Finally, I think 9.12 for the smaller sized drink (medium?) and tax before tip is a bit much for 1 drink…

Their desserts are not for me, but I can tell it’s good quality and made well. I’m not used to the sweet red beans taste, but I like the coconut flavors here.

Love this place! Me and my husband go often now and they have many drinks and lots of options. Their macaroons are amazing! My go to drink is the hazelnut mocha coffee. If is so good! Had some hiccups with service when it is busy but I’ve almost always had amazing drinks and good service here. We will come again and again :)

Friendly service and the che drinks are delicious! My favorite is the #1 special, it is refreshing and light on a hot day.

Their chè /desert is always consistent in quality, that’s what makes me crave for it sometimes. The shaved iced is too pricey, we ordered the family portion but when it came out we thought it was individual portion. I remembered it was much bigger (maybe somewhere else). Price seems to increase everywhere nowadays. If you go at night, might be a long wait to get your order tho.

I’ve been a regular at this place for their chê but this will probably be the last time I’ll be here. They barely added any coconut milk to my chê it tasted like straight up water so I asked them to add more coconut milk and a bit of sugar but they didn’t so I asked again and they added way too much sugar. Not only that but each chê was like $10, I won’t be returning. I’ve been coming to this establishment for years for their chê but I won’t anymore.

This is our favorite dessert place in Bellair. In fact, we have tried many Bambus around the USA, and this particular shop is the best. Great location, great service, great desserts. They actually have four parking spots, which is crucial in this location. As regular customers, the staff know exactly what our orders are every time. 😄

Accidentally dropped in here because I wasn't paying attention (was supposed to try another tea place in the parking lot) but they served a great almond milk boba so it was a win. They have a number of dessert options in addition to a bevy of teas. This is a pretty spacious place so good for groups and families.

I've been here twice. Once on a weekday after lunch at Duy Sandwiches and the other time on a Saturday. Both times there was a steady stream of people ordering. The vibe was really chill with people sitting indoors and outdoors. The menu is easy to navigate and the staff is helpful if you have any questions. I ordered a Jasmine Mango Tea and the Smashed Avocado Chè the first time and only the Smashed Avocado Chè the second time. The Jasmine Mango Tea was really good, refreshing and not as sweet as I thought it would be, which is great to me. The Smashed Avocado Chè is exceptional! I enjoyed this chè so much. It is not too sweet but it tastes just right. I'm not a huge fan of boba itself but when combined with the jelly, avocado and ice, everything blends well and makes for a very balanced dessert. I'll be back for the ca phê sữa đá and salted caramel coffee soon and some of the other teas and chè at some point in the future. Bambu is a solid choice for chè, in a great location in a wonderful community. Try it out as soon as possible!

Came here for dessert on a Thursday night with my mother who absolutely loves this place! We got the Mangonada shaved ice and it was delicious! It is a bit pricey at about $10 for the dish, but it's also HUGE. Can definitely satisfy 3 people. The two of us had a hard time finishing it... The service was great and fast. It's counter service. You order there, get your number, and then pick it up when they call your number. The interior is nice. Lots of seating. They have outdoor tables too, which we took advantage of :) I have my eye on the Berrylicious one for next time!

I looooove Bambu. It is the highlight of my visits to the bay area, and if I'm lucky I'll get through there a couple of times during a work week, so I was jazzed to see one here in Houston. Even though I was stuffed from the Vietnamese food buffet next-door, this was a necessary stop. Bambu is special because of the Che' - there's a lot of fruit drinks, milk teas, and Boba drinks all over the place, but not so many of the more dessert type treats. Young coconut? Basil seeds? Mixed jelly? Yes please. Clean establishment; efficient service.

The cafe is well lit and spacious, and it is always busy with customers. The white furniture gives it a contemporary and clean look. I love #1 here because the coconut water is fresh, and the coconut meat with the other additional toppings (shaved ice too) gives me a refreshing dessert to drink and eat. The mangonada drink is loaded with little squares of fresh mangos in the smoothie, and a chamoy straw with chamoy drizzle gives it a nice kick. The staff are friendly and patient, so I've always enjoyed my stops here. The cafe offers shaved ice cream, fresh boba drinks, smoothies, and a few other counter items to sell.

Bambu special is always amazing! I had some points and got a free mochi. Definitely reccomend pandan pistachio so good! I ate before the camera sadly

Craving for pandan jelly and Bambu to the rescue! Ordered #10 with red tapioca, pandan jelly and coconut milk (less ice). I wish they gave more pandan jelly than red tapioca. It was pretty sweet but then it's a dessert! Plenty of Vietnamese drinks and you can find one you like!

This place is literally my favorite for Vietnamese iced desserts. I always get their combination dessert, and it's always super tasty. Their drinks are also pretty nice as well.

We've visited another location in Austin numerous times and always left with stellar drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed my Viet Frappe, my wife liked her frappe initially but the more she drank the stronger it got.

Love everything. Go buy some asian desserts here. The ice cream combos with two sides are especialy creamy. I love the taro combo myself. Subtle melt in your mouth flavors.

Best dessert place in town! They have so many varieties of dessert from Vietnamese sweets to shave ice and many more. My favorite is number 11 (mung bean ) and fresh coconut juice. Super refreshing! Customer Service is fast and efficient. Spacious facility for dine in with your friends and family. They never disappoint!

A good place to come for not too sweet drinks. I got the bambu special #1, which is basically coconut water, coconut meat, jellies, basil seeds, and longan. It is simple but good. Seems to be the late hangout spot for families and friends, so don't have high standards for cleanliness because they also seemed to be short staffed for the amount of customers there.

always in the mood for bambu!! i am a creature of habit when it comes to this place, and that's often, i always get the bambu special. it's quite delish and refreshing, definitely not too sweet! the inside of the cafe is really cute, bright and inviting. very enjoyable to drink here or take it to go!

Bambu always delivers when I'm craving something sweet and delicious. Ché, otherwise known as Vietnamese sweets, is one of my favorite desserts. It's generally very sweet (I always ask for no added sugar when I go to Bambu, as they typically pump some sugar syrup in their desserts) and will definitely satisfy your sugar tooth. Bambu does an incredible job at these delicious desserts in a cup. My go to is the #10, which includes banh lot (Pandan jelly), red tapioca and grass jelly in coconut milk and ice. Once you mix it all together, you've got a sweet party in your mouth. The prices are a little much at $5.50 before taxes, but when you're craving this, it's worth it every once in a while!

This is a cute little place to get Vietnamese dessert drinks! Everything I've tried here has tasted fresh, so it's up to your personal preference which drink you want. Don't be afraid to ask them to add/remove certain jellies/beans too if you don't see a drink that has the specific combination you want. My favorites have been the #1 and #10 because they have the pandan jelly and no beans. I also like the fresh coconut juice of the #1. Others I've gone with have also really enjoyed the #2 combination and #4 because they like more beans in their drinks. #1 Bambu special (coconut, pandan jelly, longan, basil seed) #10 (red tapioca, grass jelly, pandan jelly) #4 (grass jelly, red tapioca, pandan jelly, jello, mung bean) #2 combination (red bean, white bean, green/mung bean, taro, pandan jelly, pearl, combo jelly) The prices are average for these types of drinks, and the service was fast. This location is in a pretty busy plaza, so it might take a little bit to find parking even though the parking lot is big. There's a good amount of tables and little nooks for groups to sit, and it can get pretty packed on weekends but I've never had a problem finding a spot. It can get a little noisy, but nothing too bad unless you're trying to study in complete quiet. It'd be a nice place for a low-key afternoon catch-up with friends or for lingering after dinner.

We wanted to try their desserts because Viet desserts are so satisfying after a long hot day. This location was very busy when we arrived, there weren't any tables to sit at, which was fine, we got a to-go order. It took us a minute to find parking, but it wasn't terrible. We got a couple different ones and they were all very good. The prices were fair and definitely made me want to come back. We really enjoyed the freshness of the jellies, beans, and coconut milk. I just wish there were bigger sizes!! We recommend most of the menu, you really can't go wrong, but I think the various options are all great. Staff was friendly and the service was quick. The atmosphere in the cafe was chill, just a bit noisy due to the amount of people, but fun. I recommend this place for dessert, small groups casual dates, etc. It's a great place for Vietnamese desserts! There's a lot of parking, but it does fill up quick. There's free WiFi and seating inside and outside! Seating fills up, but if you come during non peak hours, I'm sure you could get a seat.

Vietnamese style dessert drinks. Consisting of different jellies, tapioca, and beans, the drinks here are all very similar to each other and a problem is that they are all too sweet. The drink is pretty much all toppings so if that's what you like, great. Unfortunately I found it a bit boring and besides being initially eye catching and colorful, it doesn't do much for me. $6 drinks across the board is also a little steep; I'd take a boba place over this.

My boyfriend had told me so much good things about this place it was hot outside that day and We were sweating so he was like let's go try out the new place honey so we gave it a try. It is a Vietnamese sweet drink but their coding is so good and fresh He was so happy to get the drinks and I try the first bite of the fixing I was like what the heck is this it was not fresh at all taste just nasty . And the drink is so sweet way to much jelly it was really disappointed not good at all

I order 3 drinks and my match milk tea was half full when I ask for no ice. Didn't want to fill up the cup when I ask for no ice, I ask you can't even fill up the cup and they were like no there is nothing I can do. Not very good customer service because they didn't even want to do anything for the client. You are better off going to Starbucks and other places.

Our Strawberry Cheesecake Snow Ice looked nothing like the picture on the menu. If you're out of ingredients or don't have all the ingredients to make something, let your customers know. We were missing all of our toppings - how can you serve a strawberry cheesecake without the graham crackers?! We paid full price for a large strawberry cheesecake with all the toppings and just got a pile of snow ice and cut up strawberries tossed on the side. What's really disappointing is the fact that we were handed this without any apologies for not having all the toppings that it comes with or getting some type of compensation to make up for it. They just didn't care. We paid and tipped before and this is what we get. We most likely won't be coming back here. The taste of the snow ice was more on the bland side because we had no syrups or toppings. But calling out all Viet aunties and grandparents - Bambu seems like the newest hang out spot for you guys

The entire gang came here to fulfill their urges for dessert, following a UYE event. Bambu is located at the Kim Son plaza, right next to Kim Son itself. Their is plenty of parking available. We ordered a few items and shared them amongst ourselves. We got the mango smoothie, yogurt with berries, chocolate cheesecake, Taro shake, berrylicious, and the Tuxedo. My personal favorite was the Tuxedo and the chocolate cheesecake was delicious too. The best way I can describe all the items is "sweet". There was enough sweetness in them and I'm sure they were packed with sugar. Its ok to indulge in carbs, once in a while. This was my cheat night. This location has definitely seen better days in terms of decor. And the pricing has increased steadily over the years (slightly more than a boba drink) but I still love coming here for my pandan and che fix. You can't go wrong! It is very sweet though (it is a dessert, after all). Typically I finish the coconut milk before finishing the toppings so I'll go home and add more coconut milk to not waste the topping. I LOVE the white bean, so my go-to order is #3 che 3 mau. No credit card minimum any more though which is a plus!

I come here every time I have to drive 50 minutes to go to Bellaire. I'm addicted to their avocado dessert (#5)! You can get ice on the side to mix and eat later too and swap out toppings. It's not too sweet and has real avocado. However, the price is kind of expensive. Almost $6 after tax. But like I said, it's so unique, I always come back! I haven't tried any other dessert here though and they have a huge selection. The staff is very nice and the interior is clean. They only accept card for $8 and up so make sure to bring cash!

I stop by BAMBU for one thing only: their BAMBU Special!!! If you are looking for dessert drinks other than boba to complete your sweet tooth desires, go here and get their signature drink. It's a really refreshing drink/dessert to consume during this Houston scorching hot summer. They have a variety of Vietnamese desserts to try, but in my opinion you cannot go wrong with their BAMBU special. Trust me on this. A couple notes: - some employees are not wearing mask (just a precaution if you are a huge advocate of COVID procedure) - Like most places in Bellaire, weekends are PACKED with people. The good news is BAMBU has a lot of seating and room. Tables do be sticky sometimes.

I honestly hated everything about Bambu since they opened up down here, but after many years, I decided to try it again. That's where I messed up. Dessert: Just like years ago, the only thing that tastes somewhat fresh is the coconut milk. Jellies are half hard, half soft - literally. Some parts are like refrigerated gummies, and other parts are like gummies you forgot in the car in the middle of summer. There's still that huge ball of ice that makes it exceedingly difficult to pick and choose which topping you wanna suck up next without getting shot in the back of the throat with sharp chunks of ice. I tried my friend's avocado smoothie with boba and nothing about it impresses me - both the smoothie and boba are bland. Environment: The only thing saving this review from a flat 1 star. This location is definitely more up to date and clean compared to the other ones. Service: These workers take and make your order as if they have to go somewhere extremely important in 3 minutes. Like sloooow down. If my card didn't get double charged and there wasn't coconut milk and ice sliding down the side of my cup, I really wouldn't be complaining.

A good place to grab Vietnamese desserts especially if you like che. Located in the Kim Son plaza to the right of Kim Son itself. Parking here is doable. Spacious inside with a few outdoor seatings. The ambience gives off a sophisticated vibe with soft lightings and modern decors. The che #1 and #6 will satisfies your sweet tooth. Although it's usually a bit too sweet for me but I think you can adjust the sweet level. A variety of toppings in each che cup and good portion. On my most recent visit here, I noticed they had shaved ice. Of course, I have to try it. We ended up getting four different kinds: thai tea, strawberry cheesecake, berrylicious, and mangonada. My favorite has to be the cheesecake. It had two layer of strawberry and cheesecake shaved ice. The cheesecake portion had a very nice creamy taste. It went well with the combination of strawberries. Mangonada was also good with plenty of flavors from sour to spicy. You can really taste the strong flavors of each shaved ice. It comes in three sizes. Getting just the regular size was plenty to share with 2-3 people. The second size can be shared with more than 3 people. We didn't get the family size but I would expect it to be humongous. Yes, all shaved ice are very picture worthy. Great presentation. Everything came out pretty fast and friendly service from the staff. Overall, a good place to grab some late night desserts. They close around 10:30pm. $8min on card transactions.

Part of the never-ending Bambu boba chain. Located on the same parking lot as Kim Son. If you like busy, step on your toe crowded, loud tapioca place, here is up your alley. Always try the number one on the menu which is a combination of lychees, coconut meat, coconut milk and other sweets. Plenty of parking here and there stepped on their lighting system which is pretty bright. That is a plus.

I choose Bambu over any boba!!. I wish the one next to me in Katy didn't close. I hate having to drive 20 min for this :( but it's dam worth it!

Probably the best smoothies with Tapioca you'll ever taste. And I've tasted a lot of girls' smoothies. I mean boys' smoothies. I mean never mind! If you're looking for Sly Stallone shooting people, skip Bambu, and look for "Rambo." If you're looking for a guy with a fatty chest, skip Bambu, and look for "Manboobs." And if you're looking for the girl with the fishnets, skip Bambu, and look for "Bimbo." What to get: Honeydew Smoothie Or: Chocolate/Coffee Smoothie, Berry Smoothie, Taro Coconut Smoothie And: This place is beloved by the porn star girl, as you can tell from the pix. Plus: If you're feeling adventurous, try one of the special Vietnamese drinks like #10 Oh, also: This is the best Bambu I've ever been to, anywhere... and I've been around the block a few times if you know what I mean Jeff. Bambu is a chain which makes Vietnamese dessert drinks. They exist all over the place - I mean there's even one in Oklahoma City FFS. Literally. All. Over. The. Place. However, all Bambus are not equal. While every location I've been to was either good or great, none compare to this one. The products here are out of this damn universe. Which is good because a lot of the seating is uncomfortable (other than the cozy chairs by the wall), the wait time can be annoying, and the place isn't usually clean at all (too busy and not enough staff to keep it in pristine condition). The service has usually been really nice though. You won't care about any of that when you taste the drinks. Barbie: "Bambu has the best honeydew smoothie ever!!! Taro coconut smoothie is super yummy also. I like the dessert drink #10, but I'm obsessed with the smoothies rn." Yes the Honeydew is one of the best smoothies you'll ever have. It makes me not want to have anything Honeydew anywhere else (and I love Honeydew everywhere). The chocolate and coffee smoothies are also fantastic. All of the berry smoothies are wonderful. For some reason I think this location makes them better than everyone else. And that might be the reason why the lines are sometimes so ridiculously long here. But it's so worth it. They often have really nice service and always have spectacular products. I've had their Sugar Cane juice too (pretty good) and some of their other weird concoctions. I liked most things I had here. The also sell Sno-Ice, which I haven't tried yet. Too obsessed with the smoothies. Which is weird because I don't usually like smoothies at all. They are particularly good if you're wearing fishnets and want a honeydew or coffee or berry smoothie. The decor is nice and the prices are fair. And if you're looking for an Eternal Flame, skip Bambu, you're looking for "Bangles." If you're looking for bad country music (is there any other kind), skip Bambu, you're looking for "Banjo." And if you're looking to get with my girlfriend, then you're not looking for Bambu. You're looking to "Bang Boo." Don't even ask if you have Manboobs from too much Bambu. However, if you have a really nice body, she'll actually be down with that. But not as down as I am with Bambu Honeydew Smoothies.

I love this place! I get the 3 layered drink and the combination! The sweetness is perfect for me and the jellies are perfectly cooked. It's nice and chewy and soft along with those beans! I guess having beans in your drink makes this healthy??? lol! Staff is nice, very quick service! Place is filthy and dirty tables will not be cleaned until end of night I assume??? Don't get anything with taro because my boyfriend had long black hairs tangled within his taro and he nearly puked. Thank goodness I didn't get what he had ;)

Came here when I was in town visiting my dad. I had the coconut milk tea while waiting on some of our family to meet up. Wasn't expecting much but boy Oh boy was this good!! The menu is huge. You can get a variety of milk teas, smoothies, shaved ice, and everything else in between. I went with the COCONUT MILK TEA w/ BOBA one size will run you about $4.15. This was amazing!!! The drink was so smooth, coconut-y and it overly sweet. Boba was soft yet chewy and had the right amount of sweetness. The best part about this drink is there were big chunks of actual coconut in it. Mmm MMmm MMMMM! 5 stars**** My brother had the ALMOND MILK TEA w/ BOBA. Basic almond milk tea, Pretty good not too sweet. 3 1/3 stars*** my sister had the TARO MILK TEA. A bit of a thicker milk tea, smooth, flavorful, and really good. 4 stars*** Clean and open space with Plenty of seating on the inside as well as outside. Employees and service are ok, nothing special. A bit of a language barrier but good thing I can speak Vietnamese so it helped a lot. When I visit my dad I'll definitely be dropping in because the way the name the coconut milk tea is different than any other Bambu I've been to yum!

It is amazing I tried the Tux the chocolate dessert and it was amazing the place looks so beautiful and the drinks are good my only problem is that compared to other places around is expensive but I would say is worth it

The employee should wear a hair net ! My longan jelly dessert got a piece of hair on it which is gross! You guys increased the price for the dessert ! It should come with quality ! I will eat somewhere else that is cheaper and no hair

We went to BAMBU for the first time in hopes of trying these drinks. The first thing I would like to bring out is that the drinks looked nothing like in the photos on the website of what we ordered. No signs of jelly in the mango dazzle. No signs of coffee in the avocado coffee. The girl upfront was quite rude and I could tell her day was already pretty bad from her attitude. We didn't really want to bring them back in to ask, because we're not from here. My girlfriend insisted since the drinks looked nothing like the photo. I could obviously tell there was a lot of miscommunication going on from the get go. I didn't really expect our order to be that complicated. A manager came out and said that we're supposed to request for the drinks to look like the photo? That obviously does not sound right... Why put a picture up on your website and expect us to REQUEST for them to create a drink we expected to begin with? The manager did offer to recreate the drink, but by the time we could say anything he had walked away. Overall, not a great experience. Hopefully next time we come back into town the service is a lot better. Definitely not going to be the first on our list of places to come back to.

Always have a great experience here. It's cash minimum of $8 (random number) before using a credit card. The snow ice desserts here are really good and they give you a lot of whatever toppings you choose. The coffee milk tea wasn't as strong as I had hoped but I do enjoy their Vietnamese coffee. The atmosphere is modern and it's a big space to hang out and chill here with friends.

Both my parents and I were impressed with this place. Their drinks are so unique and pretty reasonably priced! The interior is sleek and clean, and the service was extremely quick even though we weren't the only ones there. This was my first time here, but I'm definitely coming back! I got the #6 and regular strawberry snow ice with mochi and strawberry popping boba toppings. The drink was filled to the brim with toppings and was sweet on the tongue. The snow ice, despite being the smallest size they offer, easily could feed 2 or 3 people and comes with 2 free toppings, which was enough for me. They had a large selection of flavors to choose from, and the presentation was pleasing to the eye as well. Overall, Bambu left a very good impression on me and I will be coming back with friends next time.

Great place if you're trying to satisfy a Viet dessert craving! #10 is the go-to! Red tapioca, grass jelly, and pandan jelly. There's plenty of parking in the Kim Son lot but can get pretty packed during peak hours. Free wifi and plenty of places to sit.

Can can't expect your customers to wear a mask when the workers here have their masks down themselves . This is the 2nd time I checked in 3 days, guess not coming back here

First time here for Houston, but been to other multiples times in other cities... it was close to closing time around 9:30-10pm... my group of 6people ordered a few dessert after dinner... somehow when I got back to ours Airbnb I noticed one drink missed out of the 3 Bambu special... I called the place but it was 10:35pm they closed already.. I called again tomorrow morning ... the person was friendly and helped me with my issue... and I got my replacement that afternoon... Drinks was good

There were a ton of people in Bambu on a Friday night! It seems like a very popular spot. I tried the #10 and thought it was OK--the coconut milk was good, but the drink itself was not my favorite. Note that they have a credit card minimum of $8, so bring cash if you're just buying one drink.

Expensive! Not worth it. They're not understand what customers place order, always wrong... as I ordered no ice they put ice and another time I ordered with ice they do no ice I don't know how they're in business with that's kind of services.

Love love love this place! I wish we had one in New Orleans! Suong Xa Hot Luu is my go to dessert! Its a vamped up version of what I had as a kid. the Hot Luu is crunchy as it should be! I don't like when its not crunchy! It makes a difference with that texture difference. It's clean place with plenty of seating areas. Bathrooms are clean as well. Tho...there are no paper towels in bathrooms but thats okay too. I hope I can get more when I come back!
