Google
I have always loved Bambu, but this was my first time at this location and I was disappointed with the service. I originally wanted a black chai milk tea which was available on the menu behind the counter, but when I tried, the worker said “We don’t do that. We don’t follow the menu.” What does that even mean? I ended up ordering a chai latte instead since she was kind of pushy and wouldn’t let me look at the menu for something else. My drink was still quite good, so that’s what makes this visit redeemable. Another thing that bothered me is that they don’t accept rewards like other locations do? My advice is to go to a nearby & different beverage establishment no matter how badly you are craving Bambu

Google
The cashier was so nice to me. I didn't know how to order the drink, so I kept saying "yellow beans and coconut milk." I thought she was going to lose her patience with me, but she got my order right and smiled when she handed it to me. I was almost ready to cry because of how sweet she was🌝🌝

Google
The drinks were more expensive than any other, and the quantity was less than any other. Even without ice, the avocado was less than half a cup, and the waiter told me that they only had so much quantity. I will not continue to spend money here!

Death By Flamingo Records

Google
Great coffee, but very expensive. Expect to pay close to 9 bucks for a larg coffee. People are very nice there, though you will experience the worst drivers humanity has to offer in the parking lot.

Google
Please check your receipt. Order the regular one and they charge with the large price! When I ask the cashier she said sugar tax. Like I know the difference and she ignored me like I’m stupid. Will never come back. Order regular No 3 for $9.5 is outrageous!

Google
Ordered two taro milk teas gave me this I didn’t say nothing bc it’s was busy never coming back Beans in a drink ?

Google
Employee was very friendly but the drink is not as good as it was before. I ordered the Bambu special #1 which suppose to come with coconut water but it tasted so diluted...i couldn't even taste the coconut water in my drink. I ended up going up the Asian market to buy a frozen coconut water to add into my drunk y cuz i can't let my $9 drink go wasted...i hope it'll be better next time when i go back again but it won't be anytime soon..

Google
Bambu is a great spot if you’re in the mood for a Vietnamese dessert or boba! Customer service can be hit or miss on occasions, but bambu has been fairly consistent over the years

Yelp
Love the Vietnamese sweets, Che,here! If you like boba drinks and desserts, you're at the right place. It's match in heaven. My husband and I order two drinks containing fruits, red beans, jellies, and shaved iced. It is perfect. I'm so glad we stumbled across this place from shopping nearby and decided to give it a try. As soon as we entered, there were a line of customers ordering to go. There are some tables and chairs but I noticed not many people stayed or sat down. Parking here is a bit crazy during weekends as it is shared amongst other businesses. This spot is definitely going to be my "must visit" for next visit in Philly.

Thuy N.

Yelp
Over priced on their stuff. I believe inflation didn't make prices sky rocket like this. I ordered 2 medium cups of desserts. It wasn't even good. Husband said I make it better. $20 for 2 cups. Don't waste your time and money. Front cashier girl isn't so friendly. Looks like she's angry at everyone. Wont be coming back to this location. You can get yourself a huge cup ( I mean the big cup that you get from McD for sweet tea) for $10 at the FDR park for sugar cane juice with less ice if you want. This place charges $8.50 for a small cup with lots of ice. Smh.

Yelp
If you are looking to drink your desserts, this is the place to go. I can't believe this fell off my radar for so long considering Vietnamese is one of our favorite cuisines and we go to the Little Saigon neighborhood quite frequently. I actually went here to get some Vietnamese coffee (Ca Phe Sua Da) that I had been craving for - which fortunately led me to trying Chè for the first time. It is basically a thicker drink with exotic fruits and sweets. We got the Bambū Combo (#2) which is a solid combination of pandan, taro, red and mung beans, jelly, boba in a coconut milk base. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and delicious - it kept me up all night and that's saying something. I can totally predict us coming here during our occasional run to the nearby First Oriental Market.

Yelp
Amazing selection- I generally opt for a non-caffeinated boba-style tea (hold the boba, make it herbal jelly!) because I'm sensitive, and their flavor options did not disappoint. I got the lychee tea and it was so amazing I finished every last drop, even tho the serving size was average (I got whatever the smallest size was). The atmosphere is clean, upbeat, and cozy with plenty of seating. I met up with some old friends here and we probably stayed for an hour and were not rushed which I love. :) would return!

Yelp
Cute Vietnamese Chè dessert shop in a shopping plaza in Philly! These aren't your traditional Chinese/Taiwanese boba! They have many coconut based desserts with a variety of jellies!!! I had a coconut milk dessert with 3 types of jelly, including grass jelly, red boba and pandan jelly - The Bambu Favorite. The coconut milk was very sweet, especially with 3 different types of jelly. I liked the pandan jelly the best. The ice in the drink helped with the sweetness and diluted the sugar. Surprisingly, most of the menu is dairy free, which is great for my lactose intolerant friends!! The service was quick and friendly. I did not have to wait for a long time at all. I've never had this combination of dessert, but I'm looking to try more out!! Tldr food 3.5/5 service 4/5 ambiance 4/5

Yelp
I have been here many times but just realized I never left a review. They have some healthy, real fruit drinks. I like #1, 5, and 10 the most. #1 and #10 are mixed fruit drinks, and #5 is mostly avocado. Their coffee is also strong and good. The place always seems to be busy. I see people of all ages come here for a drink. It's nicely decorated with modern-designed decor. I recommend for a nice drink. Prices are higher, but it's fair for all the fruits inside the drinks.
google avatar

Joy H.

Yelp
Wow. Just wow. I am floored by the speediness of the service here. Granted it wasn't busy when I walked in, this encounter was still by far the quickest I ever had in getting my drink order. Heck, I didn't even have time to sit before it was ready. If Jimmy John ever opens a che spot, this would be the equivalent of their speediness in service. I ordered the Bambu Favorite and Awesome Trio, and both were amazingly delicious. There's plenty of parking on the day I went, so I'm happy to say that I'll definitely be back gain soon.

Wong G.

Yelp
Check the price before you finalize your order. No pricen in menu board because the people pirce is outrageous. Over 9 dollars for SMALL mixed drink is just unreasonable. That's a meal by itself. This place won't stay long if the price stays this way.
google avatar

Thuong N.

Yelp
Good dessert place, $15 minimum for credit card transaction. You can ask to have ice on side if you order to go.
google avatar

Vicky T.

Yelp
My favorite is their avocado smoothie. Bơ dầm is what it called in Vietnamese! Get it everytime I come here since they've been open.
google avatar

Yelp
This is my must stop every time I am in South Philly and I always get the same two drinks, Bambu Special & the Mangonada. I can't be enough of these two. The Bambu special is light and refreshing, so perfect on a hot day. Meanwhile, the Mangonada is sweet and slightly spicy, such a great combo. The space is small, but has a few tables and service is always friendly.
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
Bambu is a Vietnamese dessert shop that also sells drinks. I feel that they've "Americanized" Vietnamese desserts by creating preset combos so that it is easier to order and of course with a markup. There are a lot of locations out in California and I didn't care for it much out there but it is appealing now that it is harder to find Vietnamese shops here. There ingredients seem fresh and the desserts we've had so far are generous in toppings, which at least justifies the markup. We got the #6 and #10. The #6 has various fruits (Logan, lychee, jackfruit, coconut strip) and jellies and is kid friendly. I got #10 because it has hot luu but #6 had this as well but with more variety. The drink for #10 turns brown because of the black grass jelly. I would get the #6 over the #10 next time. Located in a strip mall with parking available but it can be hard to find. Note the prices on the menu are outdated. #6 is $0.75 more than the menu price and there is a quarter sugar tax on top of everything for being in Philly.
google avatar

Val S.

Yelp
I love bambu! The closest one to be use to be in ATL but they closed down. Every time I'm in philly I get this everyday ! Number 1 and the Vietnamese ice coffee are my favorite. The number one is refreshing and light to drink as a dessert. Their number 10 is also good when I want something with coconut milk.
google avatar

Rina D.

Yelp
2/5 ambiance. Not much seating inside; only a long couch on each wall. 3/5 flavor. I was not the biggest fan because there were too much toppings-- make sure you use both a spoon and straw! But I did like how it wasn't overly sweet

Yelp
I found it! The most delicious, authentic Thai milk bubble tea! I've been ordering the large Thai milk tea with bubbles, and it always blows me away. The tea alone takes me back to Thailand. The taste of the Thai tea is so concentrated, in a good way, because I don't want that watered down stuff. The bubbles could use some improvement though. They tend to clump up together at the bottom, and I would really like servings of bubbles in my mouth with my tea at the same time, instead of being left with more bubble than tea at the end. Which would also help me not inhale the Thai milk tea every time. By the time I get home from my 15 minute car ride, I have nothing left to drink. Another thing is they do have a pretty high credit card minimum of $15, so make sure to bring cash!
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
First timer here. This is not ones typical bubble tea shop.. it's MUCH BETTER! However, no tables sit at/hangout are available. $15 minimum to pay with credit card. I ordered the durian smoothie (no toppings) and Awesome Trio, which consisted of red, white, mung beans; taro, pandan jelly, coconut milk. Both drinks were very delicious! The durian smoothie was mildly sweet and has a good amount of durian flavoring. Durian is definitely an acquired taste. You can customize your drinks to your liking (add bubbles, flavorings, etc). Would 100% recommend!

Yelp
I was at the store this morning. Local at Washington of Philadelphia. I ordered 6 boxes of waffles over the phone when I got to the store it was still not ready yet. Then I ordered a drink. I have a reward for the free drink. The cashier said, "We are no longer able to redeem the reward". Why do you promote the reward but are not able to use it when trying to redeem??? Cashier asked to contacted the boss and the boss doesn't even answer their phone!

Yelp
I'm familiar with this boba franchise from San Jose, CA. This is the only location for the entire of Pennsylvania. So if you are from the bay and want that Vietnamese 3bean dessert and get Thai tea at the same time this is that place. They have lots of Vietnamese drink desserts. I would recommend you try this place out.
google avatar

Philip Y.

Yelp
My daughter introduced me to this Vietnamese jelly drink after we had lunch at Pho 75 in south Philly Chinatown area. It comes with shaved ice ball on top and you crush it with the long spoon to make it into a slurry. Then you drink it with the bubble tea straw to suck the jelly. I love the green Pandan jelly. It tastes like tapioca but is more chewy that you can enjoy the taste a little bit longer. The coconut milk is a great compliment to the jelly. The drink is a bit pricy ($5.09) but it is delicious!
google avatar

May T.

Yelp
I can't believe I never went to this place before! I've always been on the lookout for a che place that can compare to places in CA and here it is. I love all the coconut and the different types of jellies, agar agar and tapiocas that go into these Viet dessert drinks. The best part for me is that they're aren't super sweet (at least for me). I ordered the #10 which has a lovely combo of everything that I love. When I'm in the area, I'm either usually grocery shopping or grabbing banh mi's or probably both but now I have another stop to add onto the list!
google avatar

Christie H.

Yelp
For some odd reason I never notice this place sooner. I have to say I enjoy it more then my usual places I go for bubble tea. I always get the coconut milk tea and this place has by far the best tasting one. And I love that they actually add coconut flesh to the drink.
google avatar

Wendy W.

Yelp
Amazing dessert drinks. I've been visiting this location for nearly two years and I never had a bad experience. I had number 10 dessert, which is coconut milk with pandan jelly, grass jelly, and red tapioca. I replaced the red tapioca for the regular one (bubbles). They do not charge extra if you swap out ingredients! My boyfriend ordered the avocado drink, #5 dessert, which essentially is avocado with topping and condensed milk. It's like a thick avocado smoothie with pieces of toppings. We had the coffee before, which is good as well. The other popular drink is with basil seeds and coconut water. Not my favorite because I'm not a fan of the coconut water they use in the drink. For all the drinks, you have to crush the ice and mix it with the toppings. I would not compare this with bubble tea because there's no tea and the dessert drink focuses on the toppings.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
It was my first time trying Vietnamese drinks like these and I was so excited to find Bambu right here in Philly! I got the Bambu Favorite and it was filled with grass jelly, red tapioca, and pandan jelly. They actually give you a ton of toppings and I wish I had more coconut milk to balance it out. Overall, the dessert was good, but very sweet. I only wish I could try more drinks while I was here. The menu is huge and so diverse! Make sure to bring cash because there is a credit card minimum. The location also doesn't have a bathroom, so I was told to go across the street to the grocery store.

Yelp
Always come back for the Thai tea and the bambú special #1. Nice staff. It locates at a busy plaza but I am always able to find a parking spot.
google avatar

Sophea S.

Yelp
I always come here for my quick fix hot weather snow ice desserts. Love it here! Service is really fast, just come and go! They have so many varieties of Vietnamese desserts and drinks. Highly recommended #1 and #6 on the menu.

Yelp
Major attitudes from the cashier, I used to like them from the OC area, they are littered all over the west coast that no one's cares for it. But here on the east coast, I think they're the only one in town offer something like this, so I guess that's where the attitude come in, and it wasn't cheap either! It's a good thing I'm well travel and won't have to come back to this place, ever!

Yelp
Bambu Desserts & Drinks was founded in 2008 in San Jose, California by four Vietnamese sisters--Anh, Kelly, Jenny & Julie. Bambu has a large menu of fresh, healthy and colorful Asian-inspired Chè, crisp boba milk teas, bold Vietnamese espressos & blended coffees, and real & exotic fruit smoothies. It is nice to have a slightly different option from the Taiwanese bubble tea chains to change things up. Bambu is located in the other big shopping center on Washington Ave. I write "other" as I have only been to the one shopping center higher up on Washington that contains Pho 75, Sky Cafe and the Hung Vuong Super Market. Parking didn't seem to be quite as nuts and challenging here, but it may have been that it was later on a Sunday night. The Bambu store is clean, bright and comfortable with a limited amount of seating. They have a fairly large menu but there are several pictures on the wall describing the different drink items. My wife, who is Filippina, liked the drink options with shaved ice such as #2 Bambu Combo. This did taste similar to halo halo and it was very good. Our daughter and myself shared the Green Tea blend which was smoothie like and had a pleasant Green Tea taste. It was difficult making a decision as there were so many options. We will definitely return to Bambu to try out some other drink options. I just hope I am as lucky with the parking. I also want to try Pho Ha which is located in the same shopping center. 4 yelp stars with potential for more.

Yelp
Love this place! Wish we had a place like this in New York! My boyfriend and I came here after we had pho in the same area. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
I bought 2 items: 3 bean dessert and taro smoothie with boba. Unfortunately one was a hit, the other was horrible. Service was quick, in and out. It is snugged away in a corner of philly in the viet area. Plenty of parking in the lot. Plenty of restaurants in the area too. This is a chain and surprisingly similar standards and quality across the board. Just to reiterate, the 3 bean dessert was delicious and all the components fresh and well proportioned. Unfortunately the taro smoothie was powder and not fresh, it was sweet beyond belief and did not even taste like taro. Will not be ordering that in the future but I will be back. Happy eating.

TuongVi P.

Yelp
I never liked Bambu until I was given the #1 drink on their menu. I really liked how fresh the coconut water tastes. What's interesting is the green jelly, very chewy! I liked it. The amount of sweetness was perfect. Not too sweet like most sweet drinks. I had it twice and so far it lives up to its ranking on the menu!!! I also tried 3 colored dessert, che 3 mau. I had che 3 mau at various locations/places and che 3 mau at Bambu is not my place to go to. As I mentioned the green jelly earlier, it doesn't taste right when it's replacing the actual jello the che 3 mau usually comes with. In this case it's too chewy. Not a good combination for this type of drink/dessert. Next time I will ask for actual crispy but soft to the bite type of jello see if they have that option.
google avatar

Emily F.

Yelp
First time here and I got the #42 Coconut smoothie with boba. It's what my sister always gets, and I wanted to try it. Delicious coconut milkshake. Next time, I will try to remember to ask for less sugar.
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
BAMBU is not your typical bubble tea shop! It's an amazing Che Dessert place with Vietnamese drinks. I order the #2 Combo drink because it's filled with different toppings (jelly, red bean, white bean, taro, tapioca, and more). The "drink" is more like a chewy dessert and it's super filling! Definitely give it a try if you're in the area. The inside doesn't have much seating though. And parking can be really difficult to find when the shopping center gets busy.
google avatar

Connie C.

Yelp
BAMBU is literally amazing. Mind blowing. I am almost mad that I didn't stumble into this place sooner. If you ever had chè (Vietnamese dessert), this is it but elevated in deliciousness. It's the same dessert but so much more flavor and fun due to the different added textures. I grew up eating such a simple example of Chè ba màu---"three colors chè": green mung beans, white black-eyed peas, and red azuki beans. It was nice to see BAMBU change it up and make it more mainstream. For those of you who don't know what chè is, it's a very similar dessert to the Filipino halo halo. My favorite is the most traditional tasting one with also some added fun toppings, #2 BAMBU Combo, which consists of red, white, and mung beans, taro, pandan jelly, combination jelly, boba, coconut milk and crushed ice scooped on top. It may seem like a lot, but the blend of all of this is heaven. You cannot go wrong with any of their other combinations either. Service is fast, so you get your dessert quicker into your belly. Try it! You won't regret this. Don't be afraid to try out other chè or other drinks.

Yelp
If you want a great drink then you better go to BAMBU If you don't know what to order then I don't give a DAMBU Servers treat you so well you'd think they're in your FAMBU Even if you took up 2 spots with your Dodge RAMBU If tomorrow is a test then you know you better CRAMBU Afterwards go read this at a poetry SLAMBU I learned how to freestyle when I was in 'NAMBU And coincidentally Nam is the origin of BAMBU! What to get: #10, #4, #1, any of the fruit smoothies, omg so many options, but not Milk Tea. Why: Because I said not Milk Tea and when I say not Milk Tea you dont get Milk Tea. Indeed, Bambu is Vietnamese, and is an international chain with tons of locations in places like Texas and California, but not many in the North East at all, for example NYC has none as far as I know. I didn't know Bambu was a chain the first time I came here, and I fell in love with their amazingly original, off-the-wall, bizarre and massive selection of drinks. Some of them (such as #1, #10) taste like coconut milk with a bunch of crazy jellies and shaved ice and other goodies inside, and they are the starting point, because you'll never taste anything quite like it. Very refreshing and amazing. After that, I highly recommend these incredible fruit smoothies. Strawberry is always a go-to, with tapioca in it perhaps, but they have a large selection, including specials, and it's so worth it. This BAMBU, the first I ever went to, is hidden inside a strip mall full of Asian goodies on the South Side of Philly, and parking is really difficult, but worth it. Tiny spots and they're usually full, much like my ex. But once you try the drinks (served by some of the friendlier folks in the city of sisterly love), you will want to rap about them to everyone. Which is what I shall do again, now. Sylvester Stallone came here in RAMBO Popular in Laos, Thailand and also CAMBO Thrills all the Yelp CMs (including JANDO) As seen in Star Wars (being sipped by LANDO) George Michael loved it when he was in WHAMBO Not sure how he put up with the taste of CLAM DOE Newborn babies like to drink this in the PRAMBO And give it to an East African, they'll say JAMBO! Anderson loves it, of course I mean PAMBU Your drink wants you! So says Uncle SAMBU Make preserves out of it, turn it into JAMBU Or make BBQ out of it, we'll call it HAMBU If you're dolled up with make-up, you're gonna love GLAMBU Follow me here as if you're a little LAMBU You'll get your ass kicked if you don't share it with Jean Claude Van DAMMEBU So in conclusion, Philly, let's all go right now to BAMBU!
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
I fancy these drinks. I ordered the hazelnut mocha and wow. Good flavor with a good price. Maybe it's the sugar or the caffeine but I got a good buzz from it. They have a large assortment of drinks, so give it a try. Overall, gonna try and visit again and try their Viet Coffee and Mango smoothies.
google avatar

Pauli T.

Yelp
BAMBU is CHE dessert, not your typical bubble tea shop! Avocado smash and pennywort with basil seeds are my favorite drinks here. I'm personally not a fan of tapioca pearls, so it's even better that they make customizations really easy. Bambu is based on the Vietnamese dessert, broadly called che (pronounced jyeah). They offer typical boba, or bubble tea, drinks as well. BUT it doesn't go the other way around--the other bubble tea shops won't have many of the desserts they're selling here.
google avatar

Gerald S.

Yelp
It was a cold, windy, city morn when we reached Washington Avenue, and I still hadn't had my first cup of java. I was trying to maintain my good mood, but it would be a losing battle without some caffeine soon. Desperate times called for desperate measures. I remembered there was this Bambu shop nearby, so I Yelped it and realized it was right across 6th Street from where we were. We walked over and found it in the inner corner of the shopping center. It was a small shop, with short red sofa, three cafe tables, and a few chairs along the window. The walls were covered in menus and photos of their signature Che fruity concoctions. Colorful, but I needed something stronger and hotter. Farther down the drinks list was the coffee. I asked for Vietnamese coffee, hot. I normally drink it in VN cafes or after meals, so this was my first takeout. It was exactly as expected. Strong, hot and sweetened by condensed milk. I missed the whole drip experience but it was great to be able to shop the market with java in hand.

Yelp
Great quality drink. I love the avocado drink. Great combination with the jelly and other stuff.

Sokbuntheary M.

Yelp
Never have I experienced this. They wanted to charge me more money for more juice when my drink wasn't even filled up. There excuse was that they had to go get in from the kitchen so they wanted to charge me extra money just to fill up my drink when they gave me my drink almost 1/4 empty .
google avatar

AJ A.

Yelp
This location of Bambu never drops the ball. What I love about Bambu is that it doesn't only offer bubble teas but crushed ice drinks similar to Filipino Halo-Halo, which is what my partner and I enjoyed tonight. We got a red bean, grass jelly, pandan drink with crushed ice and it was delicious. If you're planning on coming here bring cash! Orders less than $15 are cash only!!
google avatar

Miriam B.

Yelp
This is my must stop dessert place when in the area. It's a Vietnamese dessert cafe that mostly serves dessert beverages. There are a handful of premade drink orders to choose from and you can add different types of Jelly for an additional 50 cents. I always get the BAMBU combo with has red, white and mung bean, boba, taro and jelly mixed in coconut milk and a scoop of ice. It is very sweet and the texture is very interesting but I'm addicted. They only take credit card for order over $15 so make sure you have cash when you come.
google avatar

Lunzeea L.

Yelp
They are open. Call order only. I got my drink today (april 25). You hv to wait a bit. The girl taking the phone call order is also handle the pick up. The credit card charge is $15 min.

Yelp
YESSS! I've been waiting to try Bambu after hearing about it a few months ago from another Yelper, and was stoked to find out that there are a couple of branches in the area. They're known for their Che, but they also have smoothies, tea, coffee, and fruit shakes among other drinks and desserts. The service was friendly and accommodating. #6, Che Trai Cay ($4.95): So good! The che I chose has lychee, longan, red tapioca, jackfruit, palm seed, jello, pandan jelly, and coconut juice. It's packed with so many ingredients and fresh fruit, and the ice on top is not excessive; you could also get the ice on the side. I was able to drink it a bit, but I recommend just using the red spoon they give you since the jackfruit and huge slices of coconut meat do get stuck in the straw. #2, Che Thap Cam ($4.60): I accidentally tried this after getting the orders mixed up, but it's also really good! The "combo" che has beans (red, white, mung), taro, boba, pandan and combination jelly, and coconut milk. There wasn't too much of one ingredient and, when mixed with the ice and coconut milk, like the #6, everything blended well together. The Che here make for an awesome, inexpensive treat to have especially when it's hot out. You could also enjoy your drink or dessert inside; as others have mentioned, there isn't much seating but they do have a handful of tables and a comfy red sofa beneath the TV on the wall. Bambu is definitely going to be a regular stop for me whenever I'm in the city!

Yelp
I hate trying new things, especially when I know I love boba and nothing will ever replace it. But WOW - Ché is the underdog Asian drink. It's super fresh, more "STUFF" (but not overwhelming), dairy free, and actually kinda filling. The service is quick, cash only if under $15, and kind of confusing if this is your first ché. Maybe bring a Viet friend with you to help break down all the new terms haha. There's a lot of combinations and of the ones I've tried, #10 is my favorite bc that grass jelly is just too good. And I finished it quicker than I did with other ones. Memorable points from other ones I've tried: #1 is super coconutty and tastes healthy. But still a bit too much coconut for me - something I'd get once a while #3 is grainy/thicker bc of all the mung beans. I'm not a huge bean fan so there's my bias. #6 is a fruit salad. I used my spoon more than my straw which was annoying when I was driving my Bambu home. It filled me up too.

Yelp
The best way to describe whether or not you'll like this place is if you compare it to bubble tea. Do you enjoy the toppings (tapioca or jelly) more or the tea more? If you prefer the tea more, then this place probably won't satisfy your needs to the fullest. However, if you're a fan of toppings, you'll fall in love with this place. Bambu specializes in a Vietnamese dessert called che. It's usually coconut milk filled with different tapioca and jelly toppings. They have a whole menu with customized drinks for you to choose from. You can customize the drink to your liking as well! For example, if they have a drink with coconut milk instead of coconut juice, you can substitute it however you want! Or if they have red tapioca and you want extra jackfruit instead, go for it! This place also has strong coffee and smoothies, too if you don't want che. Overall, this place is very fast and offers delicious drinks. The seating is very limited and there's no bathroom here so keep that in mind! It's more of a grab n' go type of joint. You can expect your drink orders to be $5-6 with tax included. A little pricey but we can't forget that it's all customized and mostly toppings rather than liquid.

Yelp
If you love bubble tea - you will LOVE this even more. I've never quite had anything like this before, and have become a firm believer now that I've tried it. Cool, refreshing, with a variety of textures, these drinks are colorful, unique, and most importantly, delicious. The ingredients may be unfamiliar to those not used to finding pieces of jelly, beans, or coconut in their drink. However, you will be surprised how well the ingredients and flavors meld together. I recommend starting with the preset combinations, and only wish I had discovered this place sooner!

Yelp
Not bad, yet far from impressive. Bambu is a small shop with friendly service. However, before you can get in you must deal with a mess of a parking lot. That aside, they have an extensive menu. It's cash only so bring some green. I went with a #6 and enjoyed it, but the friends I've brought here haven't been as big a fan on the flavors as I am. Overall, there are better tea places in the city, but not another one I'd recommend in this section of the city. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!

Yelp
They play Kpop on the TV! I'm sold! $ Cash only!! $ Been here a few times with the boyfriend and we always get the same thing! #6 Chè trái cây - Lychee, longan, red tapioca, jackfruit, palm seed, pandan jelly, jello, young coconut I tried to stray from #6 one time and tried something with grass jelly. I really like grass jelly by itself with some sugar (also great for sore throats!) but the juice was too over powering mixed in the drink. My family makes our own kind of che at home for special occasions but it is nice to have a place I can stop in for a quick cup - so much better than bubble tea! How about a build your own option!? That would be awesome!! The people there are very friendly and I like the log counter. The place isn't too big but there are a few seats and tables for you to sit and watch Kpop =) And don't forget to get a spoon for all the jelly and fruits at the end!
