"A new Vietnamese-style shop opening on Buford Highway in Chamblee that focuses on bánh mì and a broad selection of bubble teas, smoothies, and snacks. Google
I’m a regular customer for their dine in food, but I bought Banh Mi to go today and very disappointed. This Banh Mi costs $5.50 and this is how it looks when I open it - a few pieces of meat and most are burnt. Owner, please do better!!!

Google
Bamee Tee: A Vietnamese Culinary Treasure in Atlanta My visit to Bamee Tee revealed a delightful Vietnamese haven in Atlanta, known not just for its exquisite milk teas and refreshing fruit drinks but also for a menu brimming with authentic flavors that tantalized my taste buds. The space marries modern design with comfort, making it perfect for any dining occasion. The food was a revelation of authenticity and quality. Highlights included the richly flavored Bun bo hue and the aromatic bun mam, but the family-style dinner truly captivated me, offering a taste of Vietnam's heart. The drinks, from vibrant fruit beverages to exceptional milk teas, perfectly complemented the meal, enhancing the overall experience. Bamee Tee offered an authentic Vietnamese journey, marked by their exceptional service, making it more than just a meal but a memorable culinary adventure in Atlanta.

Hey everything this is TiTi speaking If you know you know!! 1st time coming here. The owner was very friendly I ordered drinks only and sit down and wait and he handed my drinks to me himself. 2nd time I came here I ordered their bun Bo hue. And I’m very picky . I know know one place that can good really good bun Bo hue in my point of view and they have really got me with this menu. I really like it. The flavor was fantastic 🥰 only thing I noticed there wasn’t much noodles. But that my opinion Over all this is my 2nd favorite bun Bo hue place. They got me with the flavor. I just gona ask for extra noodles. 3rd time here again and again the owner really did his thing. I enjoy my bun Bo hue and my drinks I went and sit down and he saw me and brings out my utensil and everything directly . What I noticed is the cleaner they clean out right as soon as you leave . And everything is very sanitize . I’m coming back for more!Thank you so much I really love business like these. With great service. I recommend. This place 100%

Google
The best Ben Bo Hue I've had in Atlanta so far. It's served in a stone pot with fresh vegetables in a true homemade broth. Also, the large pork bhan mi for six bucks is a fantastic deal! On the price value curve I give this five stars.

Google
The food wasn’t that authentic or tasty here. We ordered 3 bún bò huế, cơm chiên gà, and bún mắm. All of them were quite plain. We didn’t believe the bad reviews on here and decided to give this place a try BUT those reviews were right. This place operates like a boba shop and you serves yourself, meaning you get your own water, napkins, and utensils (utensils are plastic which is not so good for hot dishes).

Google
Ordered through Uber Eats today and everything was exceptional. The noodle bowl came with its own little bowl with chopsticks and a noodle spoon which I loved. The soup was my first time ordering it, and it was delicious. Will order again.

Google
The food here is above all excellent. Eating one spoon of soup I feel craving for the second spoon, eating the second spoon I feel nostalgic for my homeland Vietnam, eating the third spoon I want to go to work here so I can eat the restaurant's food continuously. There are two types of noodle bowls here: regular bowls and stone bowls. When you eat the bowl of stone, the soup will be very boiling and hot 🥵 It is very delicious and has a strong traditional flavor. I am very happy to be able to enjoy such a delicious bowl of beef noodle soup here ( Bun Bo Hue ) . The topping comes with rich portion of meat and an addition Chả Huế. Which makes me feel that this shop has more character than others. This place will be the only place I come for Bun Bo now. Oh I forgot the employees are so friendly and professional too!!! This place broke my scale of 10 for real

Google
Nicely decorated inside. It’s like a little cafe place. I haven’t had the chance to try their banh mi since I saw that they served my favorite dish “ Bun Dau Mam Tom” -vermicelli with deep fried tofu, some veggies and shrimp paste sauce. Generous amount of 2 different types of tofu. Came on a Sunday so it was packed, took a longer for food to come out and to have a table. But it was worth the wait for me. I also got their pudding dessert “che khuc bach”. First time trying it ever. It’s like a cubed matcha pudding and almond pudding that’s served with ice and almonds, a sweet dessert. Will definitely come back to try the rest of their menu soon.

Yelp
Stopped in for some tea & will definitely be going back! The woman I spoke to was really nice. I got a cheese foam strawberry & a peach oolong milk one, both delicious!

Yelp
The food was amazing, and I can say that they have one of the best Bun Bo Hue in-town. Their food service was commendable, as this place doesn't require much. Ambiance was ok as well The drinks (tapioca) was ok, not recommended. Overall, I would come for the Bun Bo Hue!
google avatar

Yelp
I like their Banh mi. Love the classic and the vegan Banh mi. They are friendly and the place look clean.

Yelp
Everyone was friendly with good service I try to come back many times, i really love bun bo , i think that's the best bun bo at Atlanta

Yelp
We came to Bamee Tee to especially try their well-known dish, bún bò Huế thố đá (bún bò Huế in stone bowl). It came piping hot. It was flavorful with lots of toppings, I especially love the full roll of chả Huế. Though it was flavorful, I thought it could have been a little spicier . The price of $20 is on the steep side for Atlanta area, especially Doraville. Follow us at @thefoodieswander for more ATL eat spots.

Yelp
Stopped by here on the way home from TN, we were craving for some Vietnamese food. I ordered a spicy beef noodle soup while my hubby got a HaNoi noodle dish. Both were good. Cashier was helpful & great.

Yelp
Great food, I love the bun bo hue in the stone pot and bun rieu. The stone bowl kept the soup broth hot . The dishes were full of favor and the ingredients were fresh. Great services, they comp us the hot tea. I highly recommend this place, great favors and very affordable! My recommendation would be to serve the bun rieu in the stone bowl!

Yelp
Ample parking in the plaza. The decor is cute and bright- looked like they had Viet karaoke inside too! They were out of the first two topping and tea options we wanted...ended up with raspberry and very peach. The very peach is DELICIOUS but very very sweet. I'd go half sweet on that one. The raspberry is good, very crisp. The food looked good although we didn't eat. Looks like they have a small, changing menu. Staff was nice and efficient. Would stop in again, it's a solid choice for a banh mi and tea.

Yelp
Went with my parents to bameetea after seeing another review on Facebook. They don't have a menu up for their daily specials so you'll have to ask when you enter what they have.. you then Order and pay up front before sitting. My family ordered 3 bun Bo hue bowls, a grilled pork Banh mi, and two drink for a total of $66 Each bowl was $15 , the $5 Banh mi, and 5-6 per drink . The utensils are currently plastic and makes the meal feel cheap. Herbs and veggies for the entree was adequate and fresh. They ever have shrimp paste as a condiment! The bun was soft and perfectly cooked, each bowl contained some blood cubes, pork knuckle, and steamed pork sausage. There was plenty of meat and flavor. A bit on the greasier side... My dad's only complaint was the serving temperature wasn't up to par with other places he frequents. We actually spoke with the chef/owner and he says they'll be getting more kitchen supplies to modify their kitchen process. The Banh mi was good, meat to veggie ratio was perfect. They actually bbq their meat so you get a "charred" flavoring. No complaints on either drinks because they are made to order. Sweetness and ice level, etc. would definitely recommend! :)

Yelp
I'm surprised this restaurant got an average review. I loved the decor, the cashier was super sweet and helpful, and best of all, the food didn't disappoint. Banhmi's were great and so were the drinks. I tried the Peach Mango Soda Pop and the Passion Fruit Tee, and they both were delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Second time here. First time the bun Bo hue was very underwhelming, no strong lemongrass flavor. The owner recommended we try their jackfruit coconut sugarcane juice and it was way too sweet. I like jackfruit by itself, not in my drink. It over powered the sugar cane and coconut. Well today was my second time, I placed a togo order an hour well before coming to get it expecting to just pay, grab it and go. THEY HAVENT EVEN STARTED ON IT! Oh my goodness. So I left. There was a family eating and they were finishing up and they had ordered two banh mi to go and they didn't even know about it. I don't know if I'll give them a third chance.

Yelp
Came in on a weekday. It seemed like they were setting up for some event. The place looked like a modern boba shop, but some TVs were not displaying the menu. The barista server had to adjust sugar and ice levels after we ordered, but the drinks were made right after. Purely food based review: Lychee Rose tea - Got with 50% sugar. There's one piece of lychee in the drink. Pretty decent, the tea is strong in this one, I wish there was more fruit though. Honeydew Milk Tea - Got with 50% sugar but man is it still a bit too sweet for our tastes. We heard the food is good so hoping to try it next time.

Yelp
The food here is always amazing. Me and my wife have visited this location for three years in a row and anytime we are in the area. The service is typically at the ready and willing to accommodate for whatever we want or need. The restaurant is a quaint, homey environment and ensures that the guests will be at ease from the moment they step inside.

Yelp
My husband and I came in on a Friday during lunchtime. We tried out their daily specials, which included the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef and pork noodle soup) for $15 per bowl. It was a nice portion size and the quality of the meats were good. Bonus points for the traditional herbs provided for this dish (shredded water spinach and banana blossoms). We had a nice experience overall and will be back to check out the Bun Rieu (crab and tomato noodle soup - available on Thursdays)!

Yelp
The best bahn mi I've had in Georgia that reminds me of a friend's mother's cooking. The vegan bahn mi was flavorful, crunchy, diverse in texture, and was a good portion. Most vegan bahn mi's that I've tried are bland and taste like an afterthought to offer an inclusive menu item. That is not the case here. Bamee's bahn mi is as authentic as it gets. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a bright interior that screams family. I also decided to order an earl grey milk tea with boba. I usually get my tea with 25% sugar, but their earl grey didn't need it! I will try going down to 75% next time to test the change in sweetness, but it was the perfect flavor and oh so comforting. This will be my go-to spot without a doubt. I highly recommend swinging by!

Yelp
Best Bun Bo Hue & Banh Canh Cua! The Crab Soup and the Spicy Noodle Soup are indeed the reason why I come here all the time. It is just amazing flavors and taste as same as Vietnam. Love them so much. They also have a very beautiful menu of drinks, so many choices and the Soda drinks are magnificent! Must try em all.

Yelp
I stopped by here last week for coffee and it was great. So today I wanted to try their sandwich. I ordered 6 sandwiches. So I sat there waiting and 25 minutes go by and I asked them how much longer? They said another 10-15 minutes. I never had to wait that long for bánh mì before where I was the only one in there other than the table that had noodles in which they messed up their order as well. I thought they had to go kill the pig to make my sandwich or something. Poor customer service. They should have let me know how long the wait was when I ordered.

Yelp
This new Vietnamese business, located in Orient Center shopping plaza, just opened today during its soft opening. It's currently specializing in five varieties of banh mi sandwiches (including vegan) and a long list of milk teas and other drinks, along with choices of toppings, such as bobas, foams and jellies. Parking is available in the large and free parking lot that Bamee Tee shares with many neighboring businesses. I was able to get a parking space right in front of the store. We walked into the store and were immediately greeted by the employees behind the order counter. Customers place their orders at the counter. For take out orders, customers can sit or stand in the large entry/waiting area. Customers opting to eat/drink in can sit at any of the tables in the dining area. The dining area chairs are nicely padded and comfortable, as are the backs of the long continuous bench seat along the wall. The dining area also has a high counter with tall stool seats facing the entry/waiting area. I love the lighting fixtures and the vibe at Bamee Tee - relaxed, casual and comfortable feeling. R and I ordered the Vietnamese-style grilled pork sandwich, which had butter, cucumber, cilantro, scallion, pickled daikon and carrots stuffed in a Vietnamese-style baguette. I also ordered a Jasmine Green Milk Tee with less ice and less sugar. R ordered a Lychee Black Milk Tee with less ice. It took about 20 minutes for our drinks and sandwiches to be delivered to our table. I'm sure that the service will be faster as the employees gain more experience in the near future. The drinks were perfectly made, and came in the thinner plastic cups with the top sealed, requiring the pointed end of a straw to be poked through the seal. I really liked our sandwiches. The bread seemed on the big side. It was slightly crunchy and nicely flakey. The grilled pork was flavorful and delicious. I feel that more veggies should be added due to the bigger/longer bread size, but the veggies' flavors and textures certainly came through. The price point for the grilled pork sandwich was extremely reasonable. I met the owner, Christine Tran, and she has plans to expand the Bamee Tee's menu as her team gains more experience. She's so nice and very proud of her restaurant, and was very gracious to have one of her employees bring two separate soda pop items, Lychee Rose and Green Apple Sweet Luv, that were served in a firm plastic bottle with a pop top seal on top. Both of the sodas, which the employees freshly made, included ice and a slice of fresh fruit. After pulling off the pop top, we stuck a wide straw through the hole to mix the juice, carbonation, ice and fruit together. My Green Apple Sweet Luv also had green apple jelly in it that provided a wonderfully surprising and slightly chewy texture to this refreshing and lightly carbonated fruit drink. I can't wait to come back to try her future offerings. I'm very pleased everything I've tried so far!

Yelp
The decor is nice and I like that there's some Vietnamese music in the background that's not too loud. The food however was just ok. We had banh mi ga xe (shredded chicken) and thit nuong (grilled pork). The pork was fairly flavorful but the chicken wasn't. The do chua (pickled veggies) weren't sour at all and made it not taste like a banh mi. The bread was crunchy and wasn't too doughy. The window stickers had a picture of a soursop slushie, and when I tried to order it, they said it wasn't available. You shouldn't have stuff on your door if you don't actually serve it. I opted for a White Peach Oolong Milk Tee with lychee jelly instead. This only came in a large size and I was able to adjust the sweetness and ice level. The drink was ok, but definitely not worth $7. When I finished my drink, I was surprised to see a tea bag inside. If I'm going to spend that much on a milk tea, I'd definitely rather splurge at any other boba place nearby like Tan Cha.

Rachel L.

Yelp
The bun bo hue ($15.99) was incredibly tasty - even though being on the oilier and sweeter side, it was flavorful and the meat was good. I also tried the special banh mi and grilled pork banh mi ($5.50 each). Both were also good and comparable to those from the vendors in Vietnam that I remember. They also have fresh sugarcane juice for $6. Will definitely come back for other items on the menu as well as for the drinks. The place is nice, clean, and modern. I am knocking off a star due to the service being on the slower side and they were not busy on a Sunday evening.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
The food is very authentic and amazing. The staff is engaging and friendly. Nice music and a relaxing atmosphere. Well worth the 6 hour drive. Will definitely come here again.
google avatar

Tina V.

Yelp
Service is so slow here. Wasn't busy at all at 1pm. I waited 20mins for 2 banh mí and a taro milk tea. They weren't under staffed at all. The sandwiches were okay. Tried it but won't be back.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
It took 25 minutes to get one banh mi and one milk tea. I order a Banh Mi Dac Biet. There was no butter, no pate, no carrots and they added dried pork floss, weird. Not very tasty. I also paid for boba in my tea and didn't receive any. I wish I ate there but I waited to get back home to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a nice Vietnamese restaurant that's tucked away on the side of a somewhat deserted plaza on Buford highway. If your only experience with Vietnamese food is pho or spring rolls and that's all you're looking for then this isn't the place for you. There is banh mi and bubble tea if you're not feeling too adventurous and want something a little more familiar. Otherwise it can be a little intimidating to see a menu all in Vietnamese but apparently they have an English text menu and one of the workers was kind enough to answer any questions. The food was pretty awesome and they offer sâm bổ lượng (I can't think of an English way of explaining what this is other than like a Vietnamese dessert drink) and soursop fruit drink which I've never had before (it was really good!). Also one thing about the service, I personally like being left alone after getting my food/drinks and grabbing my own water from the dispenser but I know that's not for everyone. This is like a quick service restaurant where you order your food, they bring it to you and you all go about your own thing.
google avatar

Billy T.

Yelp
The best Bun Ho Hue in town!!! Cozy Asian restaurant in Chamblee. They a a elected menu of Asian traditional dishes but everything is pretty darn good. Don't forget to try their soursop green tea!!

Kim B.

Yelp
10/10 for food and service. Ive been here soooo many times and none of them disappointed. Hope they are getting more busier because the food is really good.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Great addition to the area! Decor: sleek and elegant Parking: plenty Service: fast and friendly Food and drinks: delicious! Accepts cash and cc They have a variety of snacks, solid banhmi choices, plain teas, milk teas, slushees, and most importantly sugar cane juice. There's a lot of newer type banhmi places that change what's in a classic sandwich, which is great but you have to have solid basics such as quality pate and bread. This place is it with cute decor, decent prices, and quality snacks and sandwiches. Definitely come and visit to try for yourself!
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered Bun Bo Hue to go to eat at office on a weekday. I liked the flavor of the broth, but the portion was kinda small. The vegetable was good. I may try it at the restaurant next time
google avatar

Stacey G.

Yelp
I just went for an avocado smoothie with black boba today. The ratio of boba to smoothie was awesome . The taste of the avocado smoothie was delicious and not too sweet. I will be returning for food in the future. The price was comparable to other places in the area. The decor of the interior was very modern and beautiful.
google avatar

Lauren O.

Yelp
We got bahn mi to go. Then we're prepared pretty quick. The sandwiches were relatedly cheap and tasty but nothing amazing. The tofu one had wood eared mushrooms and a nice sauce. The chicken one was okay. Came previously for their bubble tea and that was good so would come back next time for probably only the milk tea. You order at the counter then they bring the food to you. They have some tables inside.
google avatar

Huong N.

Yelp
The service is bad, we drove 2 hours to try Bun Mam and Bun Bo Hue but the cashier did not understand what we want to order. Tea taste like water with iced. Will not be back again.
google avatar

Trang T.

Yelp
I just stopped by the store today to try on their Bun Bo Hue which was rumored famously . But it's kinda a little disappointed when I get my Bun Bo in warm temperatures instead of steaming hot and it's too grease to eat warm and the flavor was gone. My Dad got Bun Bo Hue Hot Stone Pot but it wasn't even hot too? which seems a little weird. We also ordered Bun Thit Nuong and Banh Mi Thit Nuong which surprised take forever to get the food. We finished the Bun Bo Hue and waited another 15 mins for the other two came out!
google avatar

Kristy T.

Yelp
This place is pretty nice inside. Everything looks clean. We ordered 2 BM5. Bánh Mì Chay for $12-13. Although it's vegan, the sandwiches are made of eggs. Beware of that. The sandwiches were sweet (maybe because of the buttery sauces) but still delicious. The sandwiches itself were not soggy or too hard. The only bad thing is the wait time. We waited 10-15 minutes - but it's understandable as they are understaffed and each sandwich is freshly made.
google avatar

Taylor N.

Yelp
Came for grand opening. Seemed really unorganized, our food took an hour to come out. Food was good but not worth an hour wait. There were only 3 people ahead of us before opening too. Maybe their service have improved since. If that is the case I could change to 5 star cause food was pretty good.

Anh Vu N.

Yelp
The food here is above all excellent. Eating one spoon of soup I feel craving for the second spoon, eating the second spoon I feel nostalgic for my homeland Vietnam, eating the third spoon I want to go to work here so I can eat the restaurant's food continuously. There are two types of noodle bowls here: regular bowls and stone bowls. When you eat the bowl of stone, the soup will be very boiling and hot It is very delicious and has a strong traditional flavor. This place broke my scale of 10 for real
google avatar

Carmen G.

Yelp
Cute spot! Tried the dirty brown sugar latte which I loved! If you're not into the tapioca balls I would get this drink without them!
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
I went here today, and ordered special bún bò Huế in a hot stone bowl. Total disappointment, noodle are all broken into small pieces, ask for rau muống và bắp chuối, they said they didn't have it today. A long wait time before they bring food out. A group of owner's friend came shortly after us, ordered something, and magically, they have all veggies, rau muống và bắp chuối on their table. $50 in total for 2 bowls of suop are little too much and were not taste good at all. There won't be a second time here.

Tram N.

Yelp
Vietnamese salted coffee tastes like salt mixed with milk, no coffee flavor at all. Waited an hour for 2 orders and no food. End up getting refund and no sorry. Terrible customer service! If you're looking for authentic vietnamese, don't go here!
google avatar

Khoi T.

Yelp
This place had a grand opening past weekend. My friends and I visited to support local. What's a big mistake! Everything was almost out and we were only 30 mins into the grand opening. The food portion were ridiculous small, and service was non existent! Super shady looking shop.. I highly suggest to steer clear of this place.
google avatar

Amy V.

Yelp
Very yummy! I got the Jasmine Green Tea with Boba. It came out fast and the staff was very friendly!
google avatar

Tony T.

Yelp
For the certified authentic Vietnamese Cuisine, this is the BEST than ever. Not only their fresh bread but also their other food and drink. Flavor and portion of dishes were so good! The restaurant's very neat and clean for dining in as well. Moreover, I definitely recommend buying some of their food for takeout. Your family and friends are gonna love as my homie.
google avatar

Nina N.

Yelp
I order a banh mi thit nuong. They gave me a chicken sandwich? It's not really fresh also

Trúc L.

Yelp
Great drinks!!! I had their Banh Mi sandwiches before, they were very good!! This time we got a Tropical tea drink and a fresh coconut water drink. They were amazing!! The tropical tea drink was a great combination of orange, peach, kumquat, passion fruit and tea with some jelly! Coconut water drink, you get the coconut meat, kumquat and jack fruit; it's so refreshing!! Bamee Tee will be my favorite place for sure!!

Sean A.

Yelp
Really good and authentic. The place looks great in addition. One of the best spots on Buford Hwy!
google avatar

Julia S.

Yelp
This is my second time in and it was just as delicious. They have many different teas on the menu and the banh mi sandwiches are fresh and large. Staff was friendly with great recommendations on the many drinks. The interior is really cute with plenty of seating and the wifi is very strong so it will be a great place to bring my laptop and work for a few hours. Parking is very easy.

Grey L.

Yelp
What a disappointment! They had a grand opening, but when we came no one was able to order because there is a private party. How you going to advertise then deny customers. Crazy operation.

Daniel S.

Yelp
I was out running errands in the Chamblee area and ran across Bamee Tee. I have to say great service and food! Gotta come back again soon!
