The food here is fresh fresh. They make everything after you order and it's very timely. Many items are super delicious, like the watermelon blast smoothie and the bbq banana boy sandwich. Very hospitable and friendly

Hidden Gem – Best Sandwich Shop in Town! I honestly don't understand why more people don’t know about this place. It’s hands down the best sandwich shop in town. Everything is incredibly fresh—from the bread to the toppings—and you can tell they put real care into every order. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there, which makes a big difference. It’s one of those spots you want to keep to yourself but also feel like everyone deserves to know about. Do yourself a favor and try it—you’ll be hooked.

Absolutely loved the thick texture of the smoothie. The sandwiches are priced decent and really good. Loved the softness of the French roll. I will say do not get chips here. Not the businesses fault, but the person who manufactured and packages the chips leaves it half full. In total, for our two smoothies, 1 sandwich, bag of chips, and 10% tip, the total is $35.00. The only thing I recommend is to double-check orders before giving them to customers.

The sandwiches and smoothies here are delicious! I regularly rotate between the El Italiano, Asian Attack, and Pollo Asado — each one hits the spot everytime. As for smoothies, the Pineapple Express and Papi Papaya are my top picks. Highly recommended!

Food was really good. The woman that took our order was rude. The soda machine didn’t have Diet Coke when I told her about it she was annoyed. She said “I guess….. Not sure…..”. I don’t think she should have customer contacts

It's a family-owned restaurant! The mother and father working at the kitchen and their daughter as cashier. So cute! It was interesting to see how they put this place together. The music was linked up to a phone via bluetooth and they got a phone call! So anyway, it was a very charming place considering it's run by just the family. The food was yummy and the music was catchy. I had the tuna melt and avocado smoothie while my boyfriebd got the pulled pork sandwich and bomb sundae. Very friendly and casual environment! They do have healthy alternatives on the menu as well.

Best sandwiches I've ever had. Great smoothies too (power house or Pineapple Express with tajin). The milanesa and BBQ Pork are phenomenal.

The sandwiches here are AMAZING! The bread is perfect, warm and soft. The quality of their food is excellent. Everything I have ever had here has never disappointed. Service is friendly. It's family owned so I support whenever I can. The deli is clean with plenty of places to sit. We will be back!

We love banana boy! Family owned and operated, fresh ingredients with delicious food made to order. I eat lunch here multiple times a week. Often times I order through their google business page for a very easy order and pay experience. Then I bring my wife lunch at work. Or we stop in, sit and eat. We love the owners. Good smoothies poor customers service. They act as though it's a bother ordering from them. It's not a good feeling. Will not be returning because of that. It's a shame

I ordered a Chango Mango for Banana Boy online through Clover. It has a "TakeOff-Smoothies & Shakes" sections as well as a "Add On Smoothies" section. I took off bananas as well as almond milk. I added strawberries, peaches and mango sorbet. I asked for it extra thick and no other milk substitutes. Now on the Take-off section the first 3 items all say no before the item. The rest do not, but I assumed that the restaurant would be able to see that. Boy was I wrong. The smoothie had bananas in it. I called the restaurant thinking that, this was no big deal, I could run back over there and get it fixed. Wrong again!!! The woman who answered the phone was not ever nice at all. I explain the problem she put me on hold to check. Came back and said no it was correct and I could come over and see how they received the order. I again tried to explain that , that is not how it is on the website I ordered from. She said well the order is correct, you can come look at the ticket but we are not changing it. Safe to say, this is my first and last time ordering and eating at Banana Boy

I like the wraps but the last two times they were soggy and didn't have some Ingredients for my fave shake and the juicer wasn't working. so I'm going to just make at home save money

The reason I'm giving them two stars because of smoothie was pretty good but to be honest with you the sandwiches were nothing to write home about they were super small being a half sub I would assume they would at least be somewhat sizeable but we left hungry they don't put enough meat on the sandwich the bread to meet ratio is way off LOL I tried this Asian sandwich they had and the flavor would have been a lot better if it had more of the pork on it my wife had a turkey sandwich which was this land I don't understand because this place is always crowded and people rave about this place I just don't think they get out of the house much because the sandwich shop is subpar at best you better off going to Jersey Mike's... And not getting too personal into it but after eating there I got a pretty bad stomach ache as soon as I got home and left most of my sandwich in the toilet cha cha style

came back and brought my nephew this time, and he loved it. he thought the portions were pretty good for only being a half sandwich and a small shake. the flavors were so good and now he wants to bring his parents back to try it themselves!

Came in for lunch, they have an awesome lunch deal where it's a half sub and a side for just 10.99. For my side I got the 12oz smoothie, and they recommended the strawberry banana smoothie. Sandwich was fresh and yummy, and the smoothie was on of the best I've ever had!

Unfortunately they're always out of items. (Like half the menu) and you'll find them closed during their regular business hours. I used to like this place but I've come to the realization that they're just unreliable, and it overall seems like they all just don't even want to be there honestly. Sad

This little eatery is amazing! Their smoothies and juices are delicious and fresh. They have sandwiches and salads as well that are really full of flavor! There is nothing I have eaten there that wasn't better than good. Thumbs up! Banana boy really does food right!

Great good & atmosphere! My first time here but definitely not my last. Customer service was AMAZING & so friendly. The food was so fresh and you can see them making it right there like on the spot so everything is fresh. I got a full El Club and it was super yummy! Will definitely return & try something else!

I got the pollo asada sandwich one of the best sandwiches I've ever had with a firrrreee smoothie called the berrylicious . I'm still in the establishment seconds from finishing this magnificent piece of art which rivals the works of michalengelo.

First time we have been here, we have always wanted to try it, but it's out of the way for us. We went today for our anniversary lunch and it was really yummy and refreshing, perfect for a hot summer day. My husband got a 6 inch pastrami sandwich with a cookies & creme shake which he really enjoyed both. I got the Asian Attack on a sun-dried tomato wrap and a Papi Papaya Peach smoothie. The wrap was really good, reminded me of a banh mi, which I had been craving. My personal preference, I would forgo the jalapeños next time which made it too spicy and honestly didn't care for their homemade "Asian" sauce which tasted like bbq sauce. Other than that, it was good and the smoothie was really light, natural and refreshing. Husband said they were really nice and friendly, they wore gloves and masks, and the drinks and food were relatively quick even with a large order in front of us. We will definitely return to try something new next time!

Even when you complement these guys every day, and spend money at their store every day, they talk to down to you, every day. I came here every day for lunch. Not any more. Treat your good customers with respect.

Giving 3 stars because of the fact that we came in two separate times, and both times they proceeded to tell us they were out of almost every single item on the menu. Out of turkey, milanesa, tuna, certain fruits etc. Also at times I've showed up thinking they are open but were unfortunately closed early. Besides that the food and drinks are good

First time I've been to banana boy and went with three colleagues for lunch. I ordered their banana boy barbecue half sandwich, the others ordered the Cuban, the Asian, and the regular barbecue. Their bread is crispy and fabulous, the ingredients although somewhat sparse were also excellent. Everyone rated their sandwich except one person with five stars, the other one person rated it at four stars, because he thought he's had better spiced flavor in a Cuban sandwich but everyone would return many times in the future if asked. Customer service was excellent. With several orders in front of us with two people working in the deli, it took about 15 minutes for our four sandwiches.

Went to this place to get some juice because I was feeling a bit under the weather. When I got there it was 10 which is right when they opened so the place was a little under prepared with some uncleaned tables and cleaning supplies out. Once the girl who worked there saw me she instantly looked pissed that I was there (and i don't blame her bc it was literally right when they opened) She grabbed her things off the counter really aggressively and took my order with a short tone (and again, I empathized with her because she had some Benadryl on the counter so she was probably sick too) However, what really got me bothered was after I ordered, she just kept mad-dogging me as she was making my juice! I felt so awkward and uncomfortable with her just staring at me all menacingly so once I got my order I left so fast. Unfortunately the juice wasn't great either. I ordered the green one and it mainly tasted like cucumber and celery

It was my first time here yesterday and I got the peach papaya smoothie, sized small. It was good and I'll be back to try the strawberry sunset smoothie, which sounds great!

OhMyGossh! I literally ordered off the kids menu and got the ham and cheese sandwich with a mango banana smoothie... omg! Soo good! A little on the pricey side but still worth it. Y'all must try

I've come by a few times and never had an issue. I just stopped by and ordered a sandwich and had a customer come in shortly after who was obviously known by staff and placed their order. Next order comes up and it's theirs...so I approached the counter and confirmed they were now starting my order. Normally this wouldn't bother but I was in a hurry which isn't their problem but making me wait 15 min and then casually answering when I asked if you're barely starting with "yeah man" isn't cool, man. I had to leave and couldn't wait. Si te hubiera hablado en español habría recibido un mejor servicio? Do better.

Mmmm - Really delicious food - I ordered a tuna sandwich .....and before you completely knock it (which I usually do to be honest, ha) I ordered it from a photo of it I saw on here. It really blew my mind. All the different flavors - healthy and fresh tasting. Not mayo filled like most places... and their sandwich rolls are NUTS - so fluffy with a chewy exterior to hold all the goodness inside. The hubby got at hot sandwich: The Asian Attack....I will attach a photo of his first bite - LOL he was SO STOKED. Still says how good it was. I had to try their house made skinny juice for the sheer fun sound of ingredients - SOOOOOOO good!! My husband and I work from home, so our lunch is the "highlight" of our day...(MINI DATE without the kiddos - WOO WOO!) We drove 15 minutes from home to try this place and we left feeling revived and GREAT! Can't say that about many places after you've stuffed your face with food. The owners and employees were SO friendly and the atmosphere was "HAPPY". :) Try this yummy spot when you crave good home made juices and sandwiches. 10/10!!! P.S. I'd drive the 15 miles 10 times over to get this place again. ;) Bravo to a fabulous business!!

I wish I could cuss to tell y'all how good the Cubana torta was. I mean it was so foooodghing delicious. Seriously this place earned my respect and appreciation for good local gems in flavor. The bread was toasted just right, the onions were there and you knew it, the pork was aged to another dimension. I mean, I have eaten at pompous princes style resorts in Bora Bora but this place is on another flavor level. Forget flavor town, this is the place you should hit after a good smash to bring it all together. Seriously.

New favorite sandwich spot found! We tried the La Cubana torta, turkey sub, and a strawberry agua fresca. I'd highly recommend the La Cubana it had a ton of delicious flavor and the bread was perfect. They have lots of fresh fruit options and a great variety of smoothies and drink choices as well. Will definitely be back to try out more things from here, can't wait!

I came in 5 min to closing and the owner was super welcoming, I asked for a recommendation and he gave me a great choice for my kids. Super friendly, and overall great service even when they were about to close! I would make the drive to coke here again. The smoothies that we got were AMAZING. My kids didn't want to share with me.

I didn't try the food. So my review is just based how the business is running. We got there today at 9am (the open for customers at 10), so we ran some errands and came back at 9:50. At 10 they were still closed. A little before 10:05 the employee shows up and tells me that they have been closed for 4 days, so she needs to do a lot of prep. And said that it's gonna take a while (30min) for the sandwich to be ready. I think if you open your doors at 10 for customers, then you should be prepared a opening.

I'm waiting for my dog to get groomed and was craving something sweet tried this spot next door & omg the smoothies are sooo amazing, the girl at the register was so sweet as well, looks very clean and welcoming they earned a new customer for sure ! Try the antioxidant it's super yummy :)

We love Banana Boy!! My fiancé goes here often for work and I try my best to fo when I can too. I love their Aguas frescas and their Cubanas. The staff is also very kind and take great care of their customers! The place can get busy but they still take the time to ensure your order is correct. The quality of their food is amazing!

Bomb sandwiches, love the tostilocos, family owned and operated I think! At least they feel like family lol. Side note: found this place because when I was pregnant I had such bad heartburn that only their Sandia refresca could cure!!!!!

We googled Banana Boy to get information. So we drove to Murrieta because we wanted a fruit salad. When we arrived at about 2:30 pm the door was open and I walked in. There were three young people standing inside drinking smoothies. (One young man and two young ladies). The young man said they were closed. A few minutes later they walked out and locked the door. Why were they inside drinking smoothies when it was closed? Not sure if we will go again.

Always dropping by this place when around the area. Their smoothies are on point . It is thick and you can definitely taste the fruit unlike other places where it is watered down. The gals working the front counter are always friendly and look like they enjoy working what they do.

Had a Cuban sandwich. It was okay but the service really sucked. Guy making the sandwiches was very rude.

I was extremely disappointed in the unfriendliness of the man who runs this place. I witnesses someone being turned away for simply asking questions and specifically say "not to waste their time." I understand that every business has the right to refuse service, but this was just really bad customer service. I'm not ever coming back to this place again and I hope no one has to experience this type of unfriendly service.

This smoothie was amazing ! I got a size large for $5.99 worth every penny, it was so refreshing and good. I know the other special smoothies most taste as amazing! I also got half a wrap, it was the Asian chicken i believe. The wrap was just ok. I would definitely recommend the smoothies from here tho!

What a charming little place! Great selection of sandwiches, smoothies, fruit bowls and even raspados (snow cones). I had the mixed fruit plate, açaí bowl and the half turkey sandwich. Everything was extremely fresh and delightful. Highly recommend it!

The entire menu is filled with fresh and tasty items. Excellent place to visit for lunch or to indulge in a fresh fruit bowl/platter. The owners are friendly and always greet you with a smile. The variety of sandwiches is amazing and true to their heritage roots. It does get busy for lunch but the workers will get your order done in a timely manner. The cool island Caribbean vibe and decor is original and relaxing. This is truly one of the best kept restaurant secrets in Murrieta.

It's in an odd location. I feel like for the kind of food they have it should be in a prime spot of Murrieta. Wraps are amazing here. Their smoothies are bomb and you can never go wrong with their sandwiches. Whoever owns this spot has done an amazing job with their menu. I wish it wasn't so far west. I'd be here every day if I could. Also, I almost always order ahead. Gets kinda busy.

Very yummy juice and subs. I had the Fruit twist juice, El Italiano sub, and The garden sub. I do wish there was more avocado on the garden sub. The bread was so soft and yummy. It may also be a nice option to get a larger cup for juice so you could add ice.
