Banana Republic

I have always loved Banana Republic, their clothes and designs are always on point. I haven’t been to their store in a while since I’ve been ordering online. The clothes arrive when promised and online returns are so easy through UPS. You can order several sizes and colours if you’re unsure and their 30 day return policy is fair.

I went in to Banana Republic today to exchange a gift from my employer for my correct size. The sales associates were super helpful at first and helped me find what I needed. I then proceeded with the exchange and the cashier accidentally processed my exchange as a refund. The store manager was completely unhelpful and incompetent and told me there was nothing they could do. After calmly expressing my frustration, they did not help me at all and I had to leave the store without my exchange and couldn’t even leave with my original dress that was purchased. I even called customer service and the customer service experience was awful “nothing they could do” for a dress I brought in with my original receipt within the 30 day exchange policy. Extremely poor customer service. Very embarrassing for a store with elevated price points. They only thing they tried to do was offer me $40 credit for a $260 dollar dress. Extremely disappointed and disrespectful as a paying customer.

Huge shoutout to Felix! I needed a suit for an interview and walked into Banana Republic feeling anxious about what to wear. I’m more of an androgynous dresser and needed a polished/professional look and didn’t know where to start. Felix understood my style and helped me find a jacket, pant, shirt that was exactly what I needed. He helped me every step of the way and I literally couldn’t do it without him. Felix- thank you so much for making me feel comfortable and hearing me when I explained my struggle to find women’s clothes that would still allow me to feel comfortable in my own skin. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

I know Banana Republic can be a bit pricey but I really like their clothes. It's simple styles that are timely and made very well. This location is clean and organized. I've never had a problem with finding my size or with asking for help from the sales reps.

Top notch service!! I called to check if the store carried a certain item I had seen online. David was very prompt in looking it up and politely informed me that they did not carry it. He also apologized and referred me to another BR store. Kudos to David for providing such a high level of service, knowing he was not going to earn my business.

Great place to shop for Men's and Women's casual fashions. The men's Department has plenty of styles in a wide range of sizes. Pants, shirts, sweaters and all the accesories. Plenty of cool items on the clearance rack with new items every week.

Hours are wrong for Sunday, wasted a trip to make a return during open hours and the store was locked

Chrsitine helped me while shopping and she was fantastic! She tailored the experience and her suggestions were spot on. She definitely elevated the experience to that if upper scale stores.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Banana Republic! The sales associates are particularly friendly and helpful at this location and there are usually some really great finds on the sale tables! Thumbs up :)

I had such an enjoyable afternoon yesterday with fabulous service! Brittany, was very helpful helping me makes some great selections for a trip. I was pleasantly surprised when the cutest pants fit me. I can't wait to go back again and get her advice! Felix, checked me out and was very helpful too! He even suggested where to buy some shoes for my outfits that Brittany selected. I would of bought shoes here, but this location doesn't carry them. Exceptional customer service! Keep up the great work!

After purchasing a pair of pants from the BR Factory store 45 minutes away in San Marcos and realizing that the security tag was left on, I took the pants to this store to see if they could help out. They told me that policy was they couldn't do it because they were bought at the outlet. I understand policy, but the guy behind the counter was rude in his delivery and offered zero help/ didn't even check with the manager to see if there was any way they could help out. All of these stores are under the Banana Republic umbrella and when the issue - a security tag - is on the fault of the company, you'd think there would be better customer service than telling you you have to drive an hour away to get it removed.
