Banana Republic

Store doors were locked at 7:15pm even though hours were showing open (it may have been locked beforehand but that’s when we arrived). Website and Google Maps hours says 8pm. The hours posted on the window said 8pm. We also called to confirm the store’s hours (and confirmed it was 8pm). There was no signage stating why they were closed. There was an employee in the back, he did not come to the door although he did see us. We tried calling the store while there, he did not answer. We specifically ran out tonight to run this errand so this was pretty frustrating. Banana Republic’s service experience has significantly deteriorated over the past year so this seems par for the course at this point. We’ve already started supporting other stores but this encourages me to continue doing so.

Mark is amazing! He styled me for a professional photoshoot in less than an hour with gorgeous things I never would have chosen on my own. Friendly, honest and efficient.

Great store, great clothes and great customer service!

Customer service was amazing this morning. I was informed about new items, presented with outfit options, and employees were engaged in getting to know me while in the store. Such a personable experience, I will spend my money at this store going forward. Kudos to the team!

There will never be a time when you enter that store and will not receive a verbal greeting, a friendly smile, and an offer to assist if needed. I always have a pleasant shopping experience.

The service you receive at this Banana Republic, Germantown, Tn location is just the best. I have interacted with several of the employees and they just take care of business. I love the clothes and I love the service. I have never had a problem with anyone at this store. Just a note, if you order online and need to take it back for a refund or credit, take your box back too, they reuse them. Just the best experience from buying to having to return a product.

While Banana Republic is not a "local" business, this review is inspired by the incredible local talent that works at this location. I've been to my share of BR's and this one's staff is truly top notch. They carry themselves with such class and are SO helpful. You would think, you were in a high-end boutique, not a chain store that you can find in a mall. After stopping in this location several times, I can confidently state that the staff do not wait for you to ask them for help. The absent-minded teen is not employed here. I have never seen a staff member using a personal cell phone or displaying similar unprofessional behaviors. I like the clothes at BR a lot. I love how attentive and professional the salespeople are. For example, they will start a dressing room so you're not lugging your potential purchases through the store. However, they are not intrusive or overly chatty. They were also really good about bringing other sizes to the dressing room and checking other stores for desired items. This shopping experience is well-suited for busy men and women who do not want to be slowed down by inept cashiers and the like.
