So I just did a little experiment out of sheer curiosity. The BR at Dadeland Mall, I've always heard hit & miss things about them (their service, or lack thereof, mostly). So I went, and yea, I was walking aimlessly for a good 15 minutes and no one came to even greet me. There were about 8 people working, with 2 of them for sure being managers. The employees only greeted people/customers they knew beforehand. I asked one of the girls for help, seeing if they have the long sleeve T-Shirts. She was nice & apologizing for the lack of service. Went to the fitting room and no employee was there, so had to go back out and ask her if she can open a room for me. Given how empty the fitting room is and no one supervising it, wouldn't take much for someone to take advantage of that if you catch my drift. Either way, I stayed in the fitting room for a good while and never got asked if the clothes were good for me. Left the clothes back where they went and left the store just now. And it's not like they were that packed tbh, about 10 customers total I'd say, and not like they were helping any of us out to begin with aside from the 2-3 people they already knew beforehand. And aside from the one girl who was manning the register, most of the employees were talking to each other or walking around the store semi-aimlessly trying to do something like fixing stacks of clothes. Just seemed odd as every other BR I've gone too, their super attentive to your needs to an almost overbearing degree. On a side note, as I was going back to return the shirts where they belong, this guy asked one of the managers if they had any quarter zips sweaters and the manager straight up said he has no idea what a quarter zip is. Even after the guy showed him a picture of the quarter zip that's on the website, the manager still said he has no idea what that is. Mind you, he was standing near the rack with the quarter zip sweaters. Like I legit pointed the sweaters out to the guy after the manager walked away. Buddy was not impressed. So there's that too, make of that what you will. I guess I'll bump this up to 2 stars just for the decent interaction I had with the employee and overall liking the location of the store & its layout.
