B&B Cafe

I can’t believe I have not been here sooner. There was a wait when we arrived on the weekend, but it was worth it. Service-wise, everyone we encountered was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant felt a bit small, and it was packed. It was running very smoothly. We did not have to wait too long to order or for the food to arrive. We enjoyed absolutely everything we ordered. The portions were huge, and the prices were competitive. The most surprising dish was probably the chicken fried steak. Make this your next brunch stop!

Our favorite servers, Sara and Jasmine, are always attentive, friendly, and accommodating—but even when we’ve had other servers, the service has been just as excellent. The food is consistently delicious and prepared just the way you like it. On the rare occasion something isn’t perfect, the staff is quick to make it right, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Overall, B&B Cafe offers not only great food but also outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our family coming back again and again.

Great place! Ordered over the phone, and they were extremely kind and courteous! The food was good, but I wish there were larger portions on the order. Will order again!

This is my second time coming here in a week! That’s how impressed I am with B&B’s Cafe. This time I ordered just the crepe (classic) and asked for just fresh strawberries in and on the outside. They got crepes right, which most places don’t. They were spongy, light and flavorful. Some of the edges had that light crispy part that was perfect. A must have.

The mimosas were fantastic, and the brunch food was delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed the three-egg vegetable omelet, which was perfectly cooked and paired with wholesome whole wheat toast and crispy hash browns. The place itself is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, and both the quality and quantity of the food were spot on. It’s a great spot for a satisfying and enjoyable brunch experience!

Food-10 Service- 10 Stumbled upon this place as all the other breakfast spots had long wait times. This was legit the best breakfast we've had in a long while! The chicken was seasoned to perfection and the turkey bacon was surprisingly good- tasted smoked! For sure... we will be back!

The service was great, the veggie omelette was really big and very tasty, especially with the salsa that comes on the side. The hash browns were crispy. The gf pancake was a little dry around the edges. It's a big meal, I took 1/2 home. It would be nice if there was real cream available for those who prefer it to the room temp cream in the little cups. It would also be very helpful to have a hook in the restroom to hang a purse or jacket on while you're using the facilities.

Stopped here for a light lunch ! I ordered the Greek Salad with Chicken my husband had the Breakfast Pancakes and Scrambled eggs with Ham! We both loved the food! The Greek Salad was one of the best I have had since I visited a Greek restaurant!! Great service! We will be back!

I found this jewel in May 2024 and visit 5 days a week. Breakfast is great and the staff is very friendly and anxious to make your visit the best experience. Feels comfortable and welcoming.

This food I ate at b&b cafè was very stuffing and tasty. The service and staff were very nice and calm and they helped a lot. And the ambiance was great and I loved the dim lighting,also I loved the pictures on the walls and all the sign and I think this is one of the best breakfast spots in Texas

Ordered a simple Two Egg Breakfast and it came out in less than 5 minutes. The Wheat Bread was amazing but the SWEET TEA stole the show. I will be back!!!! Plus it was reasonably priced as well.

Nice place if you live in the area probably would have to be regular breakfast spot. Nothing fancy but the food was delicious. If I was to take any points off it would probably be for the slow service. I'm sure they probably have good and bad days like a lot of places so be patient it's worth the wait. Would definitely try again if in the area.

First time at this place and never coming again. My daughter and I went for a breakfast date. 1. The old lady at the front never gave us eye contact. Waited for a long time to acknowledge our presence putting other people before us. 2 . When she finally sat us down... didn't tell any waitress about us .everyone was getting their orders taken but it took ours an extra 10 min. 3. I wanted to leave but my daughter was so hungry so I decided to stay and give this place the benefit of the doubt... over my first impression. 4. Decided to to a look around and access the place. And noticed other people of color were also being ignored. 5. A young black lady sat for 10 mins and left because the front lady was ignoring her like she did to us. 6. I heard few Indian and Latino in my neighborhood complaining of feeling ignored and given burned food. 7. When the food finally came was burned, dried and had an off taste. I really wanted to like this place because I love supporting local businesses. 8. The bathroom was dirty and the lock was not working. Had to lean against the door while my daughter used the bathroom. Also the sink had something greenish- bluish around all metal. Not coming here again. Prefer to support local businesses that appreciate diversity and are clean.

No table was empty longer than two minutes after a customer left. At one point, folks were waiting to be seated. I knew exactly what I wanted as soon as I sat down. My waitress was so attentive and sweet. She took my order, brought out the condiments I requested, and let me enjoy my meal in peace. The steak was prepared perfectly med-well tender, juicy and seasoned to da GODS!! My eggs and hashbrowns were also delicious, but the show stopper for me was the fresh fruit. OMG... the watermelon and grapes were so sweet. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a traditional down-home meal. Ronnie pick

Crowded parking lot and people waiting is a good sign but we needed a quick turnaround to make it in time to our grandson's soccer game and Christina came through! Biscuits that compare to Mama's (that's very high praise!) Fresh and yummy salsa, delish blueberry packed pancake, and the Bacado omelette...yummy We'll definitely be back

Our daughter & boyfriend were visiting & wanted to go for brunch. We are new to Prosper area so she did her magic & found this cafe in McKinney. It is located in strip center area near Custer/380. A lovely lady greeted us & said they had a table but be aware of busy rush in next 30 min. She was right, this place is busy, quaint, homie, comfortable. Very large breakfast & lunch menu. We each ordered somethg different from skillet, classic breakfast, omelet & fruit covered waffle. The biscuits so fluffy, stack of pancakes & waffle were heavenly with warm maple syrup. All bacon/sausages & crispy hash brown sides were cooked perfectly. I will get pics next visit as we will be back to explore lunch menu. Wonderful friendly staff, feels like home. Do not miss this hidden gem!!

There are only 4 tables with people right now and it's been 22 minutes since we were seated and we don't have food. It took 10 minutes for a waitress to come by, although the hostess and another waitress were clearly looking at our family and talking . When the food arrived it wasn't our full order. No syrup for our pancakes and the French fries were stale, pancakes were cold, bacon came later. This isn't the B&B we are used to. Very disappointing and won't be back.

We seldom write reviews when we eat out but our waiter, Tyler, was exceptionally good therefore I wanted to write a review. Tyler was so polite and attentive. Both the food and service were great.

Isabella was so patient with us first-timers, we had so many questions and she remained calm, answered respectfully, and even suggested items to eat; incredible customer service! Food was delicious, and we really enjoyed the stuffed crepe's with strawberry and bananas!

We had to wait like ten minutes but after that we got sat and drinks quickly. Afterwards, we ordered our food and it was a very nice amount. I saw so many reviews on the steak skillet and so we decided to get it was sooooo good. The berry parfait was delicious. Everything was good. Would come back again!

This place is amazing. It is our favorite breakfast place. It's always busy but they move you through well. Great food. Haven't had a bad thing off the menu. They are very reasonably priced, too. It makes a it place you can go to every weekend. The staff is always great.

Great breakfast spot and reasonably priced. Food is always good. Eggs cooked to order as requested, bacon and sausage taste fantastic. Pancakes and French toast are delicious and the biscuits and gravy are show stoppers. So good. Get there early on weekends since there is a line and be sure to tip your waiters, they work hard and do a great job of getting the food to you quickly and as ordered.

I check into B & B every once in a while when my schedule allows, usually weekdays because I can't afford to line up and wait in weekend morning. Took my wife for breakfast and we decided to order one savory and one sweet breakfast for contrast, also allows us to not overeat since I'll usually get a bigger meal and up charge a sweet. We were seated right away, comfortable and clean booth, our server appeared within moments and took our drinks orders. On today's plates we chose the Bacado omelette and crepes with strawberries and bananas, added a coffee and tea for my wife. The Omelette came with hash browns, cooked just right, and fluffy and full egg ensemble had bacon, spinach and cheese in it, and sliced avocado atop like a blankie. Omelette was very nicely done!, full of flavor, not over salted. And good size portion. The crepes are next level for me; the crunch on the edges of the crepe was phenomenal!! Pillowey in the middle and just the right texture. The fruit was fresh and just a touch it syrup made it perfect. The place was close to full on a Thursday morning at 8:45am, and more people pulling up; that's all you need to know. Our meal + taxes and tip was more than fair and this is the best breakfast place I have eaten at in DFW...

We eat our Sunday breakfast at B&B every week. The staff are friendly, fast and competent. The main menu is a bit heavy on potatoes and carbs, but you can order items individually and customize your order at a slightly lower cost. This results in lots of plates, since the cook puts each item on it's own plate. I am OK with this but it makes a cluttered table and more work for the dishwasher. The food is always delicious. The waiter always brings me Smuckers Blackberry Jam, even when I forget to ask for it. That rates an extra star by itself. A good place to get home style food.

Food took forever to get to our table. 2 tables that came in after us got served before we did. When we asked about our order the waiter was rude and told us 'that's just how long it takes to make it.' Will not be back.

I can't say enough good things about this tremendous restaurant. Delicious food served by a wonderful staff. They genuinely care about the customer and it shows. Shout out for the outstanding hostess Bonnie that greats us each time with a smile and a warm welcome. My wife and I eat here several times a week and are grateful for this family owned restaurant. New to the area and looking for a regular breakfast place. With B & B cafe right down the street we were hoping this would be it. Food was good, but not great. I think we will keep looking.

Love this breakfast spot. The food is always good and considering how busy they are, they get you in pretty quick. We have only tried breakfast foods, but I'd like to see what they offer for lunch too. We usually love the $5 orange juice because it tastes so fresh in a chilled glass, but the last time we went the orange juice was bitter and the glass had just been washed so it was warm. I will think twice about ordering orange juice at that price if I don't breathe a sigh of delight at every drink and have to fight myself to not drink it all before my breakfast comes. Since this only happened once, I will try it again before it gives them a hit on the star rating.

Presentation could use some work but the food was good!! Got the French toast and hash browns. Would go back again.

On a Father's Day Sunday, we were able to get a table for 4 in less than 15 minutes! Yes!! There is everything on the menu here and you will find something for everyone. As soon as we were seated someone came to the table to take our order. We had the Brioche French Toast, the Bacado Omlette (bacon avocado), and for the healthy palettes, avocado toast and fruit Parfait. We requested the bacado with no cheese and it came with cheese (the hubs can't have dairy) but they quickly brought out another one with no cheese! The service is amazing here! If you're looking for a brunch spot with hardly any wait, quick service and a hearty serving of breakfast and lunch foods, this would be the place for you!

This place is awesome. It is a few miles away from my home. Very convenient. The owners and staff are great. The service is top notch . Today is Mother's and as busy as it was they managed to get people taken care of and our order was done perfectly. This is our 3rd or 4th time here. Everytime we've visited it's been a great experience. Its awesome to have the owners themselves come by your table to check on you and ask how your doing. Great family atmosphere. There are so many options in the McKinney area, but there is only one option for a great breakfast spot in our opinion. That is the B&B Cafe. The food is always amazing. Consistently Amazing! Great service and a comfortable place with great ambiance. Our favorite and the only place we will go. Don't mess with success!

We have always enjoyed going to B & B in the past. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food delicious! However, the last time we went, most of the staff were new. We recognized very few. After the waitress took our orders, we waited for at least 20 minutes before we left. The waitress didn't come back to the table; people who came in after us were served. The food we ordered required little cooking. And the restaurant was not as full as it usually is. We assumed it was under new ownership/management. We won't return. Very sad, because it was always one of our go to restaurants.

Our go to breakfast place on Sunday. Lunch is great to meet friends at lunch. Service is always and excellent and food is good.

5 star chorizo skillet and pancakes! My husband and I had Easter (late) breakfast here at noon and were seated right away (although it was full by 1pm when we left). The pancakes were very flavorful and moist. I highly recommend them if you must choose between the toast, biscuits, and pancakes for a side. The chorizo skillet (Toluca on the menu) was highly flavorful as well. Finely chopped chorizo, jalapeño, onions, cheese, and tomatoes topped with eggs and avocado on a bed of hash browns (plus side of salsa). Overall summary: Lots of flavor!

I love this breakfast place... It is my go to whenever I'm looking for breakfast. I used to go to Eggsquisite Cafe in McKinney, but after they sold, I was driven to find a new favorite spot. Everything that I or my family have tried has been really well prepared, it looks good on the plate, and taste delicious. it has a family owned feeling, so it is comfortable and welcoming.

Great food and great service. The staff is awesome! This is one of our go to spots after Sunday service. We love it there.

Always looking for a good breakfast spot and we weren't disappointed. Arrived at 10:00 and it was a15 minute wait. Our server was Bryce abs did a great job! I got the Very Berry Crepes abs they were delicious. Hubby ordered the Classic abs said it was good. His meal wasn't very hot - he never asked to have it warmed up. hashbrowns we're OK - a little burned. Bacon was good and cooked well. We will definitely be back to try other things.

My Bible study group and I love to go to B&B. It's a great place for conversation and catching up! The service is always great. We have tried just about everything on the menu and everything is delicious!

Stopped by recently at the lunch rush for our breakfast. Crowded but we were seated quickly, no waiting. Dining room doesn't have much character but can seat the people and turn the over. First thing that struck me watching them bus the tables was they don't sweep the floors. Very dirty throughout the restaurant. The food was good, helpings were generous. I had the 3 egg Bacado Omelette that didn't look like three eggs at first glance. My wife had the Olympic Omelette. Both were very tasty and more than we could eat. Grits were very good and I had a bit of the biscuit which was pretty good. Service was good and we were in and out quickly which is how we like it. Focus on cleanliness and this would be five stars.

Ordered a chicken sandwich to go with no ranch. Got all the way home and it had ranch on it. Then I cut the chicken open and it wasn't cooked all of the way. I called to get a refund and all they could offer me was a credit for next time. No thanks. I don't want free undercooked chicken.

Great location in an open plaza. Pretty busy so that tells you how good the food is. The wait was not too long and the hostess is very nice. We ordered cored beef hash and eggs, steak and eggs, steak skillet and bovado. Food was fresh and very good and definitely come back!

Service was great! Food all precooked and dried out. No taste to anything - eggs, sausage, hash-browns. Pancakes were OK.

The place is clean, we ordered chorizo skillet and veggie skillet with pancakes. They were both good, they came with a salsa that was spicy and tasty. The pancakes were probably some of the best I ever had. The staff are polite and nice. Will definitely be going back

Good place for breakfast. I recently moved to this location and chose this place as a substitute for the place I was going to previously. The food is good. Benedict has a little bit too much of a sauce.

We got a little bit of everything for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Their best dish was the stuffed crepes with strawberries. Their biscuits are gravy were good but not amazing. Their gravy could have more sausage in it. Their biscuits tasted kind of undercooked a few minutes. Their migas are typical migas you get everywhere. The cinnamon French toast was good but not as good as their crepes! I would go back just for those.

I quite frankly in my regular at this café. I have introduced several people to this place and I love the food. Love the prices. love the ambience. Best breakfast place in Mckinney .

Benny is amazing! Love the coffee and the outstanding service. Best quality and value in regards to breakfast in the Frisco/Prosper area. Outstanding berry pancakes and the omelette, stuffed with meat and cheese. We are foodies and B&B made our rotation years ago!

Normally, it's five stars out of five stars for food and excellent staff. However, the last time our waitress had quite a sassy attitude. and got one of our orders incorrect and then was a bit nasty to our table of eight people, thinking we ordered it how she brought it, but we all heard our friend say otherwise
