B&B Fish

Imagine the best fish shack ever with creative sweets and fanciful sides. That is what you get at B&B Fish. This place rocks. The fish is perfectly flakey. The fries are right in every way. The onion rings are big and have herbs and spices giving them extra kick. The sauces are diverse and creative. The coleslaw is perfect with the right amount of everything and not overly wet or dry. The potato salad is addictive. The soft serve is worth the trip on its own with with fun flavors, delicious cones, and perfect consistency. This place is casual "fish shack" food taken tithe next level, the next next level.

Food was very good, fresh, and nice and hot. Nice place to sit outside and enjoy even though lo within is right in between two semi busy streets. There was an option for BYOB days on weekends 11-4. Down side is that it’s a bit on the expensive side: $19 for battered cod and fries for example.

Super fresh, super delicious fish sandwich! For the area it’s not horrible price because the food was very fresh. Would have ate there because has a nice eat in counter also a pretty outdoor eating area. We decided to eat up the road to have this view of the ocean!

Tasty, but pricey. Fresh seafood and great fries. Quick and friendly service Cozy outdoor sitting.

Great flavors! I really enjoyed the twist on classic sauces. The battered cod had great pieces of fish with an airy, crispy batter. I don’t typically like a lot of batter so I had low expectations based on photos, but I found the batter ratio and texture on the cod to be perfect! Seasoning on the fries was great. I also had the fried pickles and wish they were a little less salty but I loved the Bloody Mary flavor. The outdoor patio is cute and I appreciated being able to sit out there despite the cold. I can’t wait to try more menu items, especially the biscuits. The table next to us was raving about them!

The instant I walked in I was welcomed by a smiling face. I got ice cream! (Yes, the fish place has ice cream). The employee working there aloud me to sample the ice cream and was very nice. Despite the fact that it’s $6 for chocolate chip soft serve in a cup, it is very unique and the flavors pop!!! Also, the cup was overflowing!👍😀🍦we sat outside and they don’t shut the lights off until 20 minutes after they say they close. I have also gotten food from them before. Everything is great! They have rich flavors and great dipping sauces. However it’s a little bit expensive and very salty. Don’t worry though, you can ask for little salt. All and all it’s a great place to have a good time and enjoy great seafood and dessert!

We ordered fried clams and fried shrimp with Cole slaw, truffle fries and onion rings. Great flavors, with really good dipping sauces. Cole slaw was the best I have ever had. The cooked food was way too salty for us, so when you order, make a point of asking to leave it off, or ask them to go lightly. Ordered on line and the food was ready right on time, crispy and hot, and excellent value.

The food at B&B fish tastes good. However, for a Jason Santos branded project, I expected more. Overall the food was WAY too oily and WAY too salty. To the point for sogginess. The standards were just lacking. I ordered a cod combo and received three breaded strips of cod which were fresh and tasty. However, my wife got the fish sandwich, which only had one of these strips (about an inch thick), and looked ridiculously small inside the sandwich bun. Other dishes we tried were the fried chicken thighs (delicious, maybe the best thing on the menu-at a fish shack), prawn tails (basically popcorn shrimp, disappointed), fried pickles (oily, too salty, soggy), hush puppies (wet inside but tasty), flamin hot Cheetos corn (good), and fries (basic). All the sauces were delicious, but unlabeled. Aside from the tartar sauce, I had no clue what I was eating. For the prices Santos is asking, I expected a lot more, especially on the North Shore, where the same food can be found at the same or better quality and quantity for less. Will I be back? Maybe, probably? But I won't be running back. Santos needs to either drop the prices or increase the standard of quality his reputation is known for.
