After a night out, I was craving a delicious breakfast sandwich. I had seen photos of Bandit's and knew one day I'd visit, and Saturday I finally got to try it.
I decided to go with the 'Broke Millionaire' which has scrambled eggs, chives, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, smashed tots, house made pork sausage patty, bacon, avocado and their signature Bandit aioli. It was the most expensive breakfast sandwich on the menu, which is only $10.95. Honestly great price considering everything you get in one sandwich. Add a side of tator tots, and you are looking at solid breakfast meal for under $20 after tax and tip.
Taste-wise, I thought it was cool. The house made pork sausage patty was delicious, then you add the bacon and avocado, it's an artery clogger that I had no problem finishing. The scrambled eggs were overdone, a bit dry and could've used a bit more of salt. The brioche bun, in general, is not my favorite type of bun, too much bread for the most part. I think it needed more of a toast because the inside of the bun. I ended up adding more mayo because the sandwich was dry. Still tasty, but there is room for improvement.
Definitely will be back because I see they have some burgers on their menu and I'm a burger lover and on a mission to try them all!
If you order off caviar, the prices are going to be slightly higher. So if the plan is to pickup, call in your order or place it in-person. The shop itself is more geared towards takeout, but they do have a bar/high top where you can stand and eat there, I ended up grabbing it to-go. The trip home and the tator tots stayed crispy and crunchy which is always nice. Be sure to grab a side of their aioli because it's a great dipper sauce.
