With a group of friends, I go to this restaurant fairly frequently. Mostly for the live music, not the food. One of these occasions was last Friday. However, I will recount the typical experience. If you're short on time, don't bother. Service is slow and drink refills are rare unless you order from the bar. I have had numerous dinners where something wasn't quite right. Last Friday is a great example. I ordered a burger. It was cooked just the way I wanted. It had sauteed onions, but they also put raw onions on it. It was supposed to come with Dijonaisse sauce and that was absent. Took about ten minutes to get it while the burger lost its heat. The curly fries were tasty but not even warm. They had to make me a new batch (a frequent experience). Chairs and tables are smashed together so close that patrons and servers jostled my chair all night. If you're looking for a private conversation, forget this option. If you're having a secret liaison, forget it. There's a roving photographer who takes candids all nights and posts to their FB. The only reason I go back is for the music, which is usually great. People dance all night in about an 8x12 strip, and up the aisles, and by the bar. Sometimes it can feel festive and friendly.
