Bang Bang Burgers

The burgers were so delicious! Was especially impressed with K Pop and that generous slab of pork belly. Loved the sweet potato fries too. So yum! Great options for kids too.

I wanted to try something new, so now that I was in the Charlotte area, I searched on Google Maps for nearby options to find a good burger. I was not disappointed with the Bang Bang Burger I tried; it was called The Hangover Burger and had awesome ingredient quality. The atmosphere was very nice as well.

I ordered the Cowboy Burger – the taste was actually good, but it was way too greasy. The whole burger was dripping with oil, and the sweet potato fries were just as oily. It felt like everything had been soaked in oil. Also, the burger was pretty small, more like the size of a Big Mac. A bit disappointing overall, there’s definitely room for improvement.

The hamburger was excellent! 😎 10/10 for presentation. The onion rings were slightly grassy but still tasty. 😋 The fries reminded me of home. ❤️

Absolutely solid burger! The softness of the bun combined with the juiciest burger patty really takes it to a whole other level. My wife and I loved it, and we'll definitely be coming back! The Brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection, and my wife said the chips were perfect as well.

I ordered a grass-fed burger with a gluten-free bun, and it was really disappointing. The burger patty was incredibly tough — probably the toughest I’ve ever had — and the bun was rock solid. Everything was super dry and just not enjoyable. For nearly $20, I expected a lot better. The atmosphere was fine, and the service was decent, but I won’t be coming back.

Great burgers made to order. The fries were great as well as Brussels sprouts. Only thing I didn’t like was that burger severed on wood which made a strange places to put ketchup for my fries. Highly recommend!

I tried the double patty burger and was very satisfied. The burger was large and filling, with well-seasoned patties stacked between a fresh bun. The only downside was the price, which felt a little steep compared to other places. Still, the quality justified the cost for me. Talk about delicious burgers! We're from out of town and I got the chance to have a date night with my son at a hotel close by that were staying at. I'm so glad that we got the chance to try this place! There are plenty of parking and handicap spots that were close to the entrance for me to take my little man. Ordering was pretty easy and so glad that they had TVs and fans going on (my little man loves fans). We order at the front, I decided on their bang bang burger and got a kids hamburger for my kiddo. We sat down and got to relax while we waited for the food. It came out pretty quickly and I still remember the fries being super fresh and hot. I had to fight with my little guy not to put the hot fries in his mouth. haha. The food was great! The burgers were juicy and had so much flavor to it. Let's just say that there was nothing leftover to bring home.

This place is horrible customer service. They have a "policy" that you cannot have a table before you have your food. There are more people in line than there are tables. Therefore, it is VERY possible that you will get your food and then have to STAND THERE or LEAVE with your food with no place to sit. You cannot even sit down while the person you are with gets the food for you. As soon as I sat down, I was harrassed by waitresses to get up because I did not have my food yet. My husband and I wanted to eat at a table and did not want to take something home. We NEEDED a table. The tables next to the door were freezing each time they opened the door. So when I saw a table open up away from the doors, I sat down. Immediately a waitress came up and started harassing me to get up. Then another waitress came up and started harassing me to get up. My husband and I were forced by the staff to take the freezing tables next to the door. There were 2 open tables. The first one was a 2 top and was so cold, I had to put my jacket over the metal back in order to sit down. I thought they would say something if we sat at the 4 top that was wooden seating since we were only 2 people. We went ahead and moved to try to sit at the 4 top anyway, fully expecting to start getting harrassed again. We ate our burgers and fries and they were so unremarkable compared to all the drama and harassment we experienced. We will NEVER, I repeat NEVER come back here again. I was absolutely freezing during my entire meal since the staff forced us to sit beside the door. It's January, evening, and it is 35 degrees outside ! Each time the door opens, a blast of cold air comes in. It was so cold, that the first metal backed chair they forced us to sit at ... the cold metal could be felt THRU my jacket even when I draped it over to shield me from the cold metal. So this staff made us suffer through our meal freezing our a$$ off because of their "policy". Now, if you know you are going to take your order to go it won't matter. But if you've already parked, stood in line, ordered your food and then turn around and there's no tables available THEY DO NOT CARE. They got your money, they got what THEY WANTED. YOU are the one stuck. This is YOUR problem. Parking is impossible. Everything is pay parking via those signs to scan or call except a TINY little parking lot beside the restaurant that is SHARED with multiple businesses. I would have given Bang Bang Burgers 1 star, but they gave us both free drinks for forcing us to move so I increased it to 2 stars. Whoopie, I will NEVER come here again.

The Korean fusion (k pop) burger was definitely not worth it nor did it even taste good. 1/10 The bang bang burger was not bad. I'd give it a 7/10. Fries were soggy. Onion rings soggy. 2/10 The absolute worst part: the cheeseburger egg roll. 0/10. This is an insult to Asian cuisine and American cuisine. First off the pics show 3 eggrolls but when you order you get 1- for $6 that is scandalous. Secondly, this is basicallly ground beef and cheddar cheese wrapped in some American egg roll wrap - criminal! For being owned by an Asian man living in America, this is blasphemy. Over priced and targeting the ignorant non culture folks fortunate enough to live in that nice neighborhood. If it's fusion, it's confusion. The hunt for a good burger goes on...

I order burgers frequently, because they're the easiest order to tailor to my macro needs. I can always double the meat or rip off the bread, to make it more keto or low carb. However, THIS restaurant's burger is one of the best I've had. And the fresh bread is part of the Very yummy experience!! So, double meat it is. Today I skipped breakfast and lunch, just so I could enjoy it to the maximum!! It did not disappoint, although I found myself at another location. This one is a little more spacious and brightly lit, but the burger is equally perfect. I was behind a largish party, so I ordered online, although I was in the restaurant. I was pretty hungry. I ORDERED FROM THE WRONG LOCATION!!! But the workers were super kind and patient about correcting my error. I ordered the double bang bang, as the nice guy with the voice recommended at the other location. It was just as amazing as I remember (from the day before yesterday) I added bacon and guacamole. This perfectly addressed my all day hunger. DELICIOUS

Loved this place! The service was super friendly. It was our first time, so she explained the menu and the options. The burgers are cooked fresh but were still at the table within a good time. The space has indoor and outdoor seating, and you order at the counter when you walk in. I went for the guacamole burger ... 1 patty cooked to order. They added guacamole, corn, shaved onions, and a side of ranch to layer on. Good mix of flavors. And my test is always can the bun stand up until the last bite? YES, and it was a brioche-style bun crafted from scratch, toasted, and slightly sweet. I upgraded to sweet potato fries that came with a slightly sweet, creamy dipping sauce. My son has the Cowboy burger (minus the cheddar cheese). He loved it! Definitely recommend you give it a try.

This is 100% our go to place for burgers when working in the city. Everything is gourmet grub but reasonably priced, which is rare in this space. The service is absolutely top notch. Always willing to take time to talk through the menu and make suggestions about adds and subtracts to the menu items. Did I also mention reasonably priced? Cheaper than Shake Shack down the street and miles better! Go here. Often.

Saw it on Food network so we decided to stop and eat lunch here. All four of us ate different items and we were pleased. Three had burgers and I had a salad with a veggie burger and seeet potato fries that were delicious! We will definetly go back!

So far so good on a Saturday pre-game for CLTFC Game. 16 oz Bold Rock Cider and a hangover burger with fries. My son got the kids cheeseburger and it's the same size as the adult burger and comes with fries. Waiting patiently watching. Great burgers and atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting outside and watching college football while we ate our burgers. This place is rated high for burgers in CLT for good reason. Wish I had photos on my meal but I ate it before I remembered. Good place. Cheers!

Our favorite burger place in the area! Bang bang burgers always has such fun things on the menu. We came here on a rainy Saturday and were (delightfully) the only ones. Husband and I tried two different kinds of burgers. One was a Korean style with pork and the other had jalapeños and crispy onions (I can't remember the name). Both were absolutely delicious. Kids had the chicken nuggets (which were pretty standard) and kids cheeseburger. I love the ambiance of this place. You have outside seating which is very nice (but not so much on a rainy day), the inside downstairs and a little loft area which is where we sat. It felt like a little personal suite inside a burger bar. Service was friendly but another time when I came with some coworkers the server seemed a little annoyed with a lot of the folks because they needed substitutions due to dietary restrictions. That was a little off-putting, honestly. I sincerely hope she was just having an off day and this isn't a normal behavior.

Was in the area and in the mood for a burger so looked at Yelp and Bang Bang Burgers popped up. So off I went in search of some burger goodness. I quickly looked at the menu and decided on a double mushroom and Swiss. I was really surprised that the mushrooms were portobello which was a bonus. The flavor of the burger that arrived was quality. I also got the onion rings and they were a little bit of a letdown. I was hoping for better flavor but it was just ok. I would probably opt for the fries the next time. Overall it was a good choice and I would return again.

This place exceeded my expectations! I got a delicious huge salad I couldn't finish and was impressed. Others got burgers and were obsessed. Will def be back.

Today was my second time eating at Bang Bang in South End, and I enjoyed it just like my first time! The location is super centrally located and easy to find. There is a free parking lot with limited spaces that is shared with another restaurant, so plan ahead. There are a few burger options and side orders. The beef is grass fed, there is an option of gluten free bread and also a couple of kids meals. Refer to the photos for the menu. The service was great and the vibe was cool. Good stuff and highly recommended!

I recently dined here for a late lunch with a group. You order at the counter & then the food is brought to your table. Because we went after the usual rush, there was no wait. The location was clean with plenty of seating. Our food was delivered to our table in a timely manner & everything came out as ordered. For the price point, I think the portions were great. Personally, I expected more flavor from the Cowboy burger that I ordered but it was ok. I really enjoyed the chips and the onion rings. Others in my group got the Pimento burger & the Bang Bang burger & they devoured it! Overall, I think it's a good place to eat with a group & the location of the restaurant is close to other establishments.

Solid burger spot in south end. The og and the mushroom swiss are big recommends. Get a double patty or be cursed with being on the wrong side of the bread to meat ratio. Counter service only but everyone is friendly. Orders are brought to your table and they clean up quickly. The 3 levels of seating is pretty cool. They've got a little crow's nest that seems like an incognito place to burger out. If you haven't tried then bookmark it. What I like best is that they don't season their fries. Lunch with the family. We came to after wedding dress shopping. And it was such a nice place. I had the black bean burger and omg so good!! My family also loved their beef burgers. The fries were also so good !! & the cashier helped us so much and was patient with us trying to decide what we wanted.

Bang Bang has to be one of the best burger joint around! I typcially go the 7th street location but was on this side of town so I stopped at the SoutEnd location. Love when restaurants that have multiple locations that the quality of the food is the same! Got the Cowboy Burger, double with sweet potato fries! Most yum! Great servers and staff and most importantly the food was great!

In a desperate search for food on New Years Eve lead me to Bang Bang Burger Southend. I'm so appreciative that they answered the phone and let me place a togo order with in 10 minutes of them closing. I got the K- Pop burger no Mayo with a side of ranch. The fries were crispy and tasted delicious dipping them in the ranch. The burger was tasty and filling. This was my first time at this location. There is parking and the decor and lighting inside makes it intimate. I love how they have certain burgers you can only get at the particular locations. Event to Bang Bang Burgers here in Southend quite a few times. Can't believe that I have not written a review for them. Well, they are great! I normally get their Hangover burger (double) and it is really good! Times, I will sometimes get their Pimento Cheese burger, which is also great! Bang Bang Burgers is located in Southend on Tremont Avenue. It is next to a lot of other eateries and breweries in the area. There is an adjacent parking lot, but it is very small because it is used for some of the other restaurants as well. There is also street parking, but that can sometimes be a challenge especially on the weekends in the evenings. However, it is worth the effort to try them out. The staff has always been friendly and nice, whether it take me an order over the phone or in person. The food is always hot, fresh and ready to go. Give them a try if you are in the Southend area or stopping through.

I had a delicious lunch with other a colleague last week. We went in on a Thursday at around 2:00 PM. There was no wait and we were greeted by a friendly cashier. I decided on the Hangover burger with the Black Bean patty. This is a great option if you want a vegetarian option. It was delicious! I got the hand cut fries as the side and they are a generous serving. The food was fresh and came out in about 10 minutes. We had a great experience and will definitely return.

Bean burger - onion rings - Brussels sprouts = 10/10! This is a must!!! I've tried bug locations. 7th st is small and quaint and the South End location is a little bigger. I got the bang bang burger for my husband and he loved it !!

I've been to both locations in Elizabeth and south end. I will say I like the south end location much more! I love that you can substitute any protein for any burger their combinations. I always get a Siracha burger with chicken. If you like a bit of spice, this would be your best option. Their fries are great, but man, their handmade bbq chips are amazing! I've been opting for those instead of fries. Can't wait to try their other burger combinations!

Was lucky enough to have a coworker tell me about this place. The menu is simple and the burgers are phenomenal! Very friendly staff and helpful with anything you may need. After eating at Ace no 3 I didn't think I would find a better burger in Charlotte. Well this place gave them a run for their money. Great outdoor eating area and very nice on the inside. Be ready to pay a bit more than most burger places but it was worth every penny.

We came here because the reviews were spectacular, cant say the same for the food though. First of all I ordered my burger medium well and it came out super pink. Service wasn't bad, they offered to make me a new burger but overall it was still mid. All the other people who wrote reviews for this place must not have good taste. Would not come back, had high hopes, was pretty disappointed. Ambiance is alright but don't let it fool you! If you're craving a juicy burger i recommend you go to cookout.

Bang bang never disappoints for a quick, cheap filling meal. I tried the egg rolls this time around and they were small but delicious. Friends got the burgers and all were giant and amazing. A very casual spot with indoor and outdoor seating where you order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. Food came out fast too. Also a great location, in the center of south end! They also serve beer, wine, and some premade mixed drinks in the can which is nice!

Stopped here returning from a trip out of CLT. Cashier was very helpful describing the menu items to us. We each ordered burgers which were promptly delivered to our table. Burgers and fries were excellent!! Fresh and delicious! So happy we discovered this place. Well worth the visit.

On a hot summer day I wanted a good lunch in Southend. We stopped in Bang Bang burger on Tremount in Charlotte. The restaurant is clean, cool, and well staffed. The cashier was very polite which is a huge plus when dining. He made a few suggestions and after working there a month, he is knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the cheeseburger egg rolls and fries. The food was served hot, fresh, and quick. My friend had a burger and fries. They have a few beers on draft. Due to the heat, we sat inside but there is outside seating also. We even had a chat with a regular who raves about their burger bowl. According to him, even Bugs Bunny would eat this salad because it's so fresh!! He had lots to say and it made our day to have a great experience.

Went here with coworkers and it was enjoyable experience. Sort of a mix between self serve and dinner styled . Burger was thick and juicy and fries were crisp. The bang bang sauce was good to pair with fries !

Trust me, you have to bookmark bang bang burgers! Here the burgers are delicious and juicy! I find myself coming back for more and trying a different burger each time. This time around I ordered the sriracha burger which was splendid. It had jalapeños, crispy onions and a green sriracha sauce. Everything about it was good and I ordered it with a side of bbq house made chips with ranch. I really enjoy these burgers and will be back for more!

This place made me look at burgers different. I'm not a huge burger eater and I choose this place!!! The variety of burgers and styles of burgers keep you guessing and make you want to try a couple. The service was great and was knowledgeable about the sauces or the toppings for the burgers. The place is nice with inside seating and outside patio. Loved the ambiance with theme of the place!

I was staying in Charlotte for awhile and talking to the locals, they told me about this spot. I went in with a hungry group of friends and ordered different burgers. Amazing!! So juicy and tasty! The hangover burger was good with the fried egg. $2 more and get you a double patty! Regular fries and sweet potato fries were also good. Kids menu was simple. Burger, grilled cheese and the chicken nuggets look like balls, so that was different. Staff was very friendly and warm. If I return to Charlotte I will go back!

After ordering the Siracha burger I was presently surprised by the freshness and house made green Siracha. Although lacking in heat, the siracha sure made up for it in flavor. The fries (hand-cut and fresh, not too greasy or salty!) paired perfectly with the burger and everything was absolutely splendid. 10/10 would recommended!

Let me tell you.. I really love burgers. Through many food adventures in Philly, NYC, Chicago, and many other cities I've gone burger hunting to find the best burgers. This one is a real one. I ordered a double pimento burger (won best burger in charlotte for 3 years in a row ) as well as the fried brussel sprouts side. To start, you bite into the burger and the first thing I noticed is how the bun is very good quality--you can recognize that it's from a bakery and not something mass produced; the bottom is not soggy at all and the buns are simply full, fluffy, and light. The burger itself was also flavorful and distinct in its quality of meat. It's lightness and flavor are a great blend. I was not left feeling super overwhelmed or heavy after eating, but instead felt great. Very impressive to have flavor pack a punch, and do it at the right proportion. Pimento cheese was homemade and full of flavor--again not overwhelming at all but complementing the fried pickles and burger. Every component comes together to deliver a quality bite. and the fried brussel sprouts... Yo, order some and thank me later. Not overwhelming at all! I don't know how you can make these flavors so light and not overbearing on the palette. Just chef kiss, for real on this one p.s. while eating here for the first time, I heard customers complimenting the speed of service and quality of food. okay, okay icu p.s.s. interior is cozy, spacious, and pretty modern p.s.s.s. This is honestly the best burger I have had in Charlotte! I love coming to the South End location because it is close to many bars. I can grab an amazing burger here without having to wait for hours to be seated. Then I can walk over to Pins Mechanical or another great bar. The staff here is always friendly and quick with their service. I can always find a seat here no matter how busy they are. Their parking lot is tight and can be full, especially on a Saturday night but I usually get lucky and find a spot or someone is leaving as soon as I get there. I always order the single bang bang burger with fries because it's great and fills me up. I love that all the toppings and sauce come on the side for people to pick and choose how much or how little they want. I always stack my burger with all the toppings and put a lot of their amazing sauce on top! It's like a typical burger sauce but with pieces of relish throughout. I love their burgers and that you can choose the temperature you want. I always get medium and it is perfect! It's super juicy and flavorful! Their toppings are always fresh and the pickles have a nice house made taste. The bun is also always fresh and so buttery. Everything is such great quality here. Their fries are pretty basic but really great dipped in bang sauce. I love that they have a special burger of the week and one day I hope I am adventurous enough to try one of the unique burger creations!

Since my last review was when this was still Bang Bang Bites, it felt necessary to review it again now. We came in about 10 minutes before they closed, desperate to get a quick, tasty burger. We got a Bang Bang Burger and a Pimento Burger, one with fries, one with chips. We both preferred the Bang Bang Burger. The sauce is so good. The Pimento Burger was good, but the Pimento cheese was cold which threw it off for me. The fries and chips are both good. I probably have a slight preference for the fries. I really like their burgers, so I'm glad to see them executing well here again. I wished the sliders could have worked out since it was a cool concept, but I'm glad they pivoted to something that worked for them.

First time coming here! The food is delicious and on point!!!!! I love the atmosphere and vibes!!! I will be coming back!!!! # Bang Bang Burgers deserves more than 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!

They have a good selection of burgers and all of them have the option of double patties. I got the mushroom and Swiss which was amazing if you love mushrooms! My friend got the sriracha burger - it has onion strings and fresh jalapeños (I recommend if you like spicy)! My other friend got the guacamole burger which of course is good - duh it has guacamole! I got a side of bang bang sauce which went perfect with their fresh cut fries! FOOD: A+++ perfect place for a quick bite! Fast service delicious food! Good experience as a first timer but not sure I'll be back. The burger was flavorful but service was just okay. I found parking during a dinner rush, but no one was there. I felt the price was fair.

Love this new location. Super nice staff, great food and a nice outdoor seating area. There is a small lot, street parking and several gravel lots so finding a parking spot at 7pm on a Tuesday wasn't hard at all. Silly me I wasn't familiar with what pimento cheese was so before placing my order I was given a little sample cup to try it which was really nice. Their black bean burgers are pretty big and flavorful and the fries are delicious. My only wish is that they switched their pickles to dill pickles instead of the sweet ones they serve but I'll survive.

If you're in the mood for a good burger, then you must stop by here! Back then there was only one location to get this delicious burger in Charlotte on Elizabeth, but now there are a few locations (like this one). I usually get the Seoul 2.0 Burger or the hangover! But the rest are pretty good as well! I don't think there was a time that I didn't enjoy my burger here. This place gives you a lot of fries, I usually don't finish my fries and give them away. This place gets pretty pack during the rush hours especially on the weekend! The workers were kind enough to apologize for being so busy and for food taking longer than expected. Overall burgers are delicious and tasted. You will be full!

Hamburger tasted like it was just this side of rancid. Asked for medium well and it came out with a red-pink center. Fries were nothing special either. The flipped screen started at 20% tip too.

First of all, I want to point out that this is the bigger of the 2 locations. We initially went to the Bang Bang Burgers on E 7th Street because we had our dog with us and wanted to be able to sit outside with her and the photos on Yelp for that location seemed to have a nice outdoor seating area with big patio umbrellas. Little did we know, these photos were on the Yelp pages for BOTH locations! When we arrived at the other location, we thought we were in the wrong place or that the place had moved since the photos were uploaded. NOPE. Those photos were simply uploaded to the wrong location and need to be removed before anyone else gets confused. The other location had 2 tiny 2-person tables outside, but I would not recommend bringing a dog there. Anyways, once we moved over to this location, we were much more satisfied with the outdoor seating area. The indoor section is small though. I had the Hangover burger (single for $10.50, double for $13.50), which includes sharp cheddar cheese, potato bacon hash, fried egg, and Bang sauce. It also includes a side of fries that are served in a cute little frying basket. The sauce reminded me of thousand island dressing. The burger and fries were fantastic.

I'm so sad. The last time I had Bang Bang Burgers, I thought my burger was super good. In fact, I thought I had already written a review and given this exact location five stars. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was really disappointing. I'm actually very sad. So what happened, you ask? Well, I ordered the Classic Bang Bang Burger w/ double meat. And the first thing that I noticed was that my bottom bun was rather soggy. That's okay, I thought. After all, soggy buns mean juicy meat! But the meat was extremely salty. That's saying a lot because I don't mind salt and actually greatly appreciate the valuable role salt plays in cooking. But the meat was really too salty. On the bright side, it was cooked beautifully. Sadly, the salty meat wasn't the end of my troubles. As an attempt to be healthy, I also got brussels sprouts instead of fries. That was a terrible mistake. I repeat, that was a terrible mistake. The brussels sprouts were very greasy and oily. I hate wasting food, but I did, in fact, throw away half. I feel really bad leaving this review, but I truly hope that management is able to address some of these problems. This is because the vision behind Bang Bang Burgers is great. Even still, I don't see myself coming back to this particular location for a bit. According to Yelp, the other location appears to be better. Perhaps you/I could go there instead?
