This place is definitely a hidden gem! The prices alone are wild in the best way. I tried 3 drinks, 1 pastry, and 1 waffle for just $29 (including tips), which feels like a steal these days. You truly don’t see pricing like this anymore. The customer service deserves a huge shoutout. I’m honestly so tired of coffee shops where staff come off arrogant or dismissive. Here, the experience was the complete opposite; warm, genuine, person-to-person connections that make you feel welcome. That kind of hospitality goes a long way and is always something I really appreciate and miss when visiting a coffee shop. As for the coffee, it has a unique, subtle woody aftertaste that’s surprisingly pleasant. I usually don’t enjoy oaky or woody flavors in drinks, but their coffee was so well balanced that the woody note feels more like a happy surprise. The cold brew had a stronger woody profile but was still smooth and well balanced. Laura’s Latte (with honey and cinnamon) was recommended by the staff, and it did not disappoint. If you’re someone who enjoys sweeter coffee drinks, I highly recommend it. My favorite, though, was the oat milk latte—the espresso paired beautifully with the nutty, creamy oat milk. I’ll absolutely be coming back for more. Now let’s talk about the waffle. Hands down one of the best I’ve had in a long time!! Perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, lightly dusted with powdered sugar for just the right touch of sweetness. And the raspberry compote?!! Incredible. It tasted gourmet and added the perfect fruity acidity to balance the buttery flavor of the waffle. They also sell pastries from one of my favorite Arizona chefs, Chef Chacon, which is always a stunning choice. My only complaints (and they’re very minor): I really wish they stayed open a bit later so I could stop by after work more often, and I really hope they’ll offer bagels every day 🤞. Overall, I’ll absolutely be returning—and often!

We will have to be regulars at Bang Bang because it is an amazing spot! We tried the Maple Spice Cappuccino and the strawberry matcha and both were 10/10! The match was well balanced and refreshing and the cappuccino made it feel like Fall! Their pastries from a local baker were a great pairing! We’ll have to come back for the Bagelfelds too!

Love their bagels and treats, coffees and London fogs are our favorites. Tried their blueberry bagel and bought another one after trying a bite. Very generous cream cheese. Personalized services, friendly and caring. Owners come out to great you. It was very cozy with the outdoor seating. Dogs and their owners were grabbing their morning treat. Belgian waffles were divine. Would come back daily if we lived nearby.

Fantastic customer service. They are friendly and remember your name. The drip coffee is delicious and comes with free refills. The lattes are fun and creative. They also serve famous Bagelfeld’s bagels. The outdoor space is comfortable and quiet. We love this neighborhood spot. I hope this business thrives!

Very beautiful coffee shop outside of a neighborhood great for dogs. The coffee was weak-tasting (sorry) and we thought they had bagels all week long - it’s only Thursday through Sunday. Then we tried the waffles, but they were out of the homemade fruit topping for the waffles, which they are apparently known for. I wouldn’t write home about the waffles but they were pretty good. They were out of the fruit compote by 9:30am in the morning. Still a nice place. If you’re going for the atmosphere, 10/10.

Magical. Bang Bang also validates parking!!! Best matcha in the United States, Cali disappointed but bang bang is always amazing.

Bang Bang Coffee is a Midtown gem! Cozy neighborhood vibe, friendly staff, and their hot mocha is perfection—rich, smooth, with just the right sweetness. The outdoor-only seating is fun for visiting and meeting new neighbors. A must-try for any coffee lover in the area!

Cool. Place to hang out. Very good cold brew, cappuccino and waffles. Would you like to try bagels but they sold out. Very friendly staff and good service.

Had a great stop at Bang Bang Coffee. It was early AM and already a line with people waiting. There's no indoor seating and the line moves quickly. The employees were super friendly. I ordered a Mr. C latte which is a caramel hazelnut blend. The beans were smooth and the flavors I wish were a little stronger but overall great. Not watered down or bitter. They have plenty of drink options and serve a few food options. I'll definitely be making another stop in to try out another drink and a pastry to go with it!

A small walk up coffee in Central Phoenix. Service is fast and friendly. Ambiance is 100% outdoors and takeaway. No issue for me as I was just picking up a coffee for the road. The menu covers a lot of the coffee standards as well as some specials. I opted for a Tia (Maple caramel cappuccino) and an Americano. Both were made well - great flavor, low acid, and smooth. Enjoyed my experience, I think you will as well.... N*joy!

First Fridays Nov 1 2024 Really good pie and really good coffee. It's so worth it to come here when they do this. I really love the environment.

The environment here is really inviting with a nice staff and a great space to sit outside! The coffee is good and the bagel I had hit the spot. The seats have much-needed shade to account for the lack of inside seating. It is simple to order by just walking up to the window on the right side of the building before getting your food or drink on the left. The coffee shop is very easy to get to right of Central and close to a streetcar stop. There is street parking and a parking lot right next to the cafe.

This cute walk up coffee shop is located in downtown Phoenix. The Woodsman - iced latte with carmel & maple was delicious. Bagelfeld Bagels provides the bagels they sell on Thursday -Sunday. Tried an everything bagel with cream cheese that was yummy! Cute patio area with several outdoor tables.

WHAT A COFFEE SPOT! First of all, the service was phenomenal. We met Joel and he truly made the experience from the start. The menu is relatively simple, which I really liked. There is nothing worse than being overwhelmed by options. Something I enjoyed was that if you didn't see your combination, they had some other options to mix and match as well. Now let's get into the drinks. I ordered the White Lodge and my sister ordered the Red Room. The White Lodge is white chocolate + hazelnut. I wasn't able to distinctly taste either flavor, but the flavor of the coffee itself was enjoyable. It tastes more unique than your run of the mill coffee shops. The Red Room is caramel + raspberry and that was the real show stopper! Raspberry can be overpowering but it is more subtle and then the flavor hits you! While we weren't hungry, they had an extensive list of bagel option from a local bagel shop. There's nothing better than seeing local businesses support other local businesses! Ambiance wise, there is plenty of shaded seating. To the left of the stand, there was a patio area with plenty of space for large or small groups. We will definitely be back!

One of our favorite coffee shops! Love that it is family owned and run. They have great coffee and get their bagels from Bagelfelds (best bagels in town). Plus, when the weather is nice there is a ton of outdoor seating.

Fun little walk up spot with outdoor seating and plenty of parking but street and lot. It's been revitalized from a shop never open to consistently great coffee and service. They have a great selection of custom creations (the log momma (maple and cinnamon)!was great. Btw their waffles are amazing. Not much else in terms of food yet, but stay tuned.

Tagged along with some friends to look at a condo and stumbled at this coffee bar across the street. Ordered an iced SF vanilla latte and it was amazing. The espresso was really smooth and it had the perfect balance of flavoring. The staff were super friendly too. Will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area!

I live in the neighborhood and roast my own beans. Bang Bang coffee has excellent drip coffee and the best bagels in town. I'd highly recommend this place.

Birdhaus is for the early birds! They are open Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 11 AM and Saturday from 7 AM to 11 AM. My go to drink is "The Mallard" which has caramel and raspberry syrup. Cute little coffeehouse with outdoor seating only. Wish I had a dog to bring but I enjoy visiting the area. Very shady and nice place to relax. I love the barista, she is always so kind and friendly. My drink comes out perfect every single time! Worth the drive and parking is fairly easy.

This is a cute little coffee place that also sells waffles. We went close to when it was about to close on a Saturday and there was only one other customer there. They have tables spaced out outside in case you want to enjoy your treats there. I ordered a cappuccino and a waffle with raspberry lemon compote. The cappuccino was not the best cappuccino I've had in town, but not bad. The waffle was tasty and very reasonably priced!

Stopped by this morning, perfect place to go with nice weather! I ordered a caramel latte with an extra shot of espresso for my husband and I got something called the crane which was an almond milk latte with raspberry. We both had them hot! Didn't have to wait too long for them to be ready and compared to other nearby coffee places, this was definitely more affordable. Our drinks were really good! Definitely not too sweet and the raspberry flavor for mine wasn't overpowering at all. Would totally come back here. I also love that they put pics of dogs up in the window, I will have to bring my dogs next time!

Walked from our AirBNB to grab coffees after reading the great reviews. Coffee is made to order and you can tell it's fresh. I recommend the Quail Latte. They have light bites but we didn't order this go around. Staff was very friendly.

Charming little coffee place! You can park in the parking lot next to Oven + Vine. I ordered the White Dove which was a latte with Ghiradelli white chocolate, and I had a waffle with maple syrup and Nutella. The waffle was great, the drink was good, and the prices are reasonable. It's a small little shop that is bird themed, all the drinks are named after birds. Their special will have its own sign with a giant bird drawn on it. Service was great! But there is only outdoor seating.

I'm a coffee snob (I roast my own beans at home) and hit this place while traveling through town. Great latte!

By far the best coffee shop patio in Phoenix! Beautiful park like setting right off of central. Very friendly service and well made lattes. We did not get any food but the waffles looked very good. The only downside is limited hours but that's understandable for being a smaller shop.

The staff was so incredibly sweet. Helped guide us since it was our first time coming to this coffee bar. We got a cold brew with oat milk and it tasted very delicious. We also got two waffles which were also very good! Everything was extremely affordable. Cold brew was about $3 and the waffle was as well. The seating area is only outside but very cozy. Parking is limited. Dog friendly! I saw one of the employees come out and give dog treats to two of the doggies next to us! I find dog lovers to be the best type of people!!! Hehe overall, just a cute experience and well worth it!

This place is so cute. I didn't get any coffee as I am a big tea drinker but the tea was great. I wanted to try the prickly pear tea but ALAS! No caffeine, what good is a drink without the caffeine in the morning to give you a little kick? So I added some vanilla black tea to it and although it sounds a bit weird, it was yummy! I will definitely keep this cute little local place in mind.

Cute small coffee bar with a simple menu. Plenty of parking on a Saturday morning. I ordered an iced mocha with almond milk. The Mocha was made with dark chocolate so it wasnt too sweet which is how I like it. I was also able to bring my pup because their shaded patio/gravel area is dog friendly.

I enjoyed an easy walk through the gorgeous Willow neighborhood and happened upon this sweet coffee bar. I'm in love. The iced Chai is amazing and my mouth is watering as I await my waffle with raspberry lemon compote. The baristas are friendly and the atmosphere welcoming and relaxed.

Xavier makes the best lattes in town! My new favorite place to pick up a quick cup of coffee. He leaves a nice bit of coffee art in the foam. That's always a nice touch.

BEST DEAL IN COFFEE ANYWHERE! Quality VS Price Birdhaus can't be beat! Amazing little place great trees and tables sit under fun music makes the ambiance perfect. This place is perfect for your morning coffee or afternoon pick me up. I got the light iced chai with a shot of espresso. But the 4 waffles for just $4.00 made from scratch is just Delicious Get Raspberry and Nutella!

This is my number one choice for coffee in Arizona, and I've had a lot of coffee all across this country. Those who don't like it are probably used to sugary, coffee-flavored shakes from a chain.

The price is great! $3 for a cup of death! Our coworkers stopped by this place for morning coffee because Dark Hall Coffee was closed. Womp Womp. All 4 of us threw away 4 different kinds of coffee drinks after the first taste. It was sososo bitter and just really terrible tasting. One coworker said it tasted like alcohol and one said it tasted like gasoline. Is it old coffee, has it been sitting for literal hours? Is that why it tastes like a shoe? Don't know, don't care to find out because we're never going back. Don't listen to the good reviews, they lyin'.

I so badly want to make this my "go to" neighborhood coffee place, but sadly, I can't. The location is ideal. The staff are lovely. But I have no idea what they do to produce such awful coffee. I drink cappuccinos or lattes, but nothing with flavors or syrups. I do not know where they get their beans, but I suspect that could be the source of the problem. I've been three times, and each time my basic latte has barely been drinkable. If not for my severe caffeine deprivation, I would have tossed it immediately. Please, please look into sourcing better beans! Let me know when you do because I am just waiting to become your most faithful customer.
