I’m giving one star because “zero stars” was not an option. Be VERY CAUTIOUS if you choose to buy (or even try on) shoes here. The female owner of the store was very rude. I asked if she had a particular pair of Danskos in wide. She looked at me like I had 2 heads. When I told her I know they come wide because I have a pair, she just looked at me and shrugged. While trying on a pair in reg width, I said they felt a little snug. She told me that Danskos run wide. I guess I was wrong about them feeling tight because she said they run wide. The entire time she was with me, she acted like I was wasting her time. Against my better judgement, I bought the shoes. When I got home, I tried them on again with thinner socks and decided to return them. When I went back to the store, the owner told me they don’t take shoes back. She then pointed to the very small note taped to the back of the register, hidden behind a display. I actually had to move the display to read the note. I repeated to her that I never wore the shoes, I just tried one of them on at home with a thinner sock. Her response was, “and you walked around the store in them.” So…I guess you’re not supposed to even try shoes??? She finally agreed to refund my money, minus a 10% restocking fee! Before leaving, I suggested she start telling customers that they have a “no refund” policy on shoes, or at the very least they should make their note bigger and not hide it behind a display! If this is how they treat everyone, it is beyond me how they stay in business.

Got new bags to replace my old ones here at Bang Bang. I've been looking forever, and these bags (Unknown Designer) fit all my things and have more space and better storage for me. The travel case has duffle, backpack, and satchel/ suitcase options, and I got a matching body sling. My travelling has gotten so much easier. The owners are great and keeps up with fashion. I gotten luxury trendy shirts too. Couldn't help myself.

My daughter had an unbelievably awful encounter at this establishment while trying to shop for a graduation gift. While on a quiet phone call with me (her mother), the male store owner rudely told her she needed to get off her phone. When my daughter repeated what he said, he immediately raised his voice, declared "I'm not having this conversation," and simply walked away, leaving her completely stunned and upset. So distraught by this bizarre and unprofessional behavior, my daughter left the store. When I called the store to understand what had just happened. I spoke with a woman who identified herself as Paula, presumably the owner's wife. When I inquired about the store's policy or any law prohibiting paying customers from being on their phones, her response was appalling. She stated it was "rude" to be on the phone in a store and blamed it on the youth of today always being on their phones, even comparing a retail business to someone's private house! When I pointed out the obvious difference between a home and a place of business where customers spend money, she simply hung up on me. The owners of this store are clearly rude, unprofessional, and have a bizarre and hostile attitude towards customers. Save yourself the frustration and potential for similar mistreatment - do not give this store your business! Their behavior was unacceptable and frankly, shocking.

The part where you walk into a clothing store with an AMEX to use wearing over $10,000 of jewelry and holding multiple shopping bags but there’s always that one guy- I guess because of the color of my skin (hispanic) there was some old white man following me around while I was looking- I even turned around to make eye contact with him and he avoided it so being that I work in sales, I know exactly what he was doing! So when I saw a dress I liked I decided that they didn’t deserve my money placed it back in front of him and walked out. Check yourself before your get to work, I almost turned around and said something, but God forbid I cause a scene!

Went in with my wife. My wife saw a dress that she would like to try on. When she asked to try it on the owner proceeded to tell her that the dress it to small for her. Then said you can try it but don’t push it. She was very rude.

My family and I had the worst experience in this establishment. I walked in pushing my 1yr old granddaughter in a stroller as she was enjoying a lollypop. I was occupied by my mother, my two daughters, and my two sisters. As we walked in to the establishment we were asking to leave because my granddaughter was enjoying her sweet treat calmly in her stroller. I found this to be very rude, and unprofessional. I have to say we felt stereotyped because we are of a certain ethnicity and have tattoos. We did ask people within the area of their experience in this shop and they did not have nice things to say. I would not recommend spending your time or money in an establishment that is so unprofessional.

I bought my wife a very nice sweater and she loved it. The experience was great. Everyone was super nice

One of the worst stores in Colorado. The “owner” is rude and has this expectation to be treated like royalty. I went in the store looking for graduation things and HE told me that being on the phone with as disrespectful. HE also said a whole slew of rude things. Would not recommend, spend your money next door where you can actually enjoy your money.

super chic place with a nice variety of unique pieces. very much on the pricey side but they have a nice sale rack. i probably would have bought something if the staff wasn't so pushy and condescending to my best friends.

Went to this place by consequences. And I had the MOST AMAZING experience there. Traveling from Denver to Springs to kill time before traffic dies down. When I walked in, got greeted by a wonderful lady that was kind and sweet to offer if I would like to try any of the clothes on with different sizes as I asked during shopping. Had small great conversations also really made my day!!! I have always loved Colorado Springs and I enjoy spending my money to support the local since now a day everything could be bought online. Bought a few things after trying them on. And also another gentleman kindly checked on my offers to a strap on the purse that I'm interested in buying. Really gave the great service! Lastly, I was not expecting anything but after spending a few hundreds, the lady gave me a pretty necklace for appreciation. By paying my bills, the gentleman offered me a large tote bag instead of a regular paper shopping bag since I didn't carry anything on me to put my items in. He gave it to me kindly and said keep this in your car, since now we know the Colorado charges to have $.010 a plastic bag lol. P.S their items are unique and quality. It really caught my eyes when I walked in not expecting to even buy anything. For all these great quality they had, I was very happy with what I got and be treated. Out of appreciation I offered them I would write a great review for them. And here I am, i understand there's people have different opinions, this store is also located in downtown. I do not feel like it's a bad idea for businesses owner to watch out for their store of safety and stolen if that could happen even by a chance of a busy day with people go by. I highly support them but in a respectful way as much as of all others if they have no intention of stealing. Very sweet and warmth welcoming! Will definitely visiting again!!!

very rude customer service... sadly.. don't try to take a picture in the store, i was coming from vegas and loving their products until he yelled at us and we left.

Great selection and the staff was very kind and helpful. Glad i got a change to shop on my trip and found a few nice things to bring home with me.

They are scammers and accuse you of stealing their merchandise, in hopes of bullying you into paying them out of fear. If they do this, call the cops yourself and see how quickly they change their tune. Absolutely appalling behavior from both owners. I will definitely not be returning.

My husband and I really enjoy this store. The selections are different than everywhere else and the prices are reasonable. The owners are engaging and it's always a fun visit. Definitely recommend you check it out when you're downtown. My absolute favorite summer dress came from here and the hubby loves their hat selections.

I can't say enough good things about Bang Bang. I have been shopping at this local badass boutique for years now and it never disappoints. Whether it's a present for someone else or a little something for me, I know it's going to be a hit. However I think, even above the quality of their product, I go because of the owners. They remember me by name and are always happy to help. I alway look forward to seeing what new things they get in, and will be shopping there for years to come.

They had the cutest clothes in the window so we were excited to go in and check it out. We were in and out in about 5 minutes. As soon as we walked in, no hi or welcome just glaring us up and down. The clothes were really cute however, I didn't appreciate the owner following us around the store like we were gonna steal. When she had to put away clothes, she told her husband "watch them" right as I was walking past them!!! They BOTH then proceeded to hover near every rack that we were looking at. I had every intention of purchasing this cute pair of pants I found but instead, I told my group to put everything back and that we were not buying a single thing in that store due to the way we were just treated. I will never go in there again or recommend it to anyone. Guess my group didn't fit how honest paying customers "look" to them. It's a shame.

Enjoyed shopping with my daughters for gifts. The shop attendant/owners were helpful and attentive and they have really quirky and unique items. We will be back!

Whoa! I walked in here to browse on the weekend and was met by the most unfriendly, snarly attendant I've seen in awhile. So unfriendly I turned around and walked out. If you don't want people in your store then just close already.

Hit or miss on styles, plenty leaning towards kitsch. I like quirky style & decided to give this place a try. I will preface this story with the fact that I'm in the size 12 range. I do not have delusions of size nor do I wear tight or even revealing clothing. My first interaction was looking at a dress with a couple girlfriends and having, what I assume was the male owner, rush over to me to anounce that "that wouldn't fit you". I was showing the design to my friend. He went on to say he'd had a skinny girl try it on and it was still too small. Then he proceeds to push many, many dresses at me. I am fine with customer service, but I felt really pressured. I tried to just ignore the comment & the overbearing "help". Later, I looked at another top, and the female owner, in a rather aggressive way, told me "We only have that in small!" Oh, good grief, I'm just looking at it. I don't even want it. I did find a dress I liked after repeated comments about "Do you need a bigger size?" and the aforementioned comments. It was exhausting between them trying to convince me that I wanted styles that were not my taste & being constantly remimded that they found me to be too big. I'm a pretty confident person & I'm not easily shaken, but I started to get annoyed. I almost didn't buy the dress I liked out of anger and might have left sooner if my friends weren't also trying things on. But, I decided to not punish myself after enduring all of the comments & pushiness. I do not plan on going back.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars, horrible Service. They are nuts. I shop local but I won't be shopping here.

Bought a cool hat there and the man who waited on me was very helpful picking out the right size. Good overall experience and a reasonable price.

Very rude female, who I assume is the shop owner or manager. I retrieved my phone out of my purse to answer a text, she snapped, "we don't allow any pictures to be taken." I advised I wasn't taking any photos and she snapped back, "well I didn't know." RUDE!

Stopped in the other day. One of the associates went out of their way to be rude and unwelcoming. Felt very creeped out bring stalked around the store by a diva on a power trip. Will not be coming back.

My friend and I stumbled in one day after a long hike and were not only pleased with the selection of apparel, but also the price. The owners were also very attentive and friendly showing us many different dress options for a special event I have coming up in December for the National MS society. I didn't have all the money and asked if I could put down a deposit to hold it a week. They declined the deposit and held it for me anyway. When I came back the dress was waiting for me and they were very nice when I asked about possibly trying in other styles. I ended up with the original dress and a new favorite boutique! I have MS so having a store with such easy going customer service and attentiveness is really important for me. I can't wait to go back!

If you are shopping in the Springs this is a must go to shop! A variety of styles that will appeal to everyone. When we walked in was immediately impressed with the selections. Great recommendations by the staff. Super reasonsable pricing. Will be back time and time again.
