"Terminal A has a small business corridor highlighting local Jersey bakers and sweet shops, so definitely explore the area if you need a pick-me-up after getting a tub of homemade tiramisu confiscated by TSA. The individually wrapped cookies at Bang make a lovely in-flight dessert, and the middles are fluffy and soft without being underbaked. Grab a spiced dulce de leche stuffed snickerchurro cookie if they have it, but a sea salt chocolate chip is also always a good choice." - Anne Cruz

We ordered these cookies from the website. They came wrapped up fresh and ready to eat. They taste amazing if you put them into the microwave for a few seconds. Id highly suggest stopping by or ordering some from the website. I tried them since Coryb from instagram invested in them.

Google
My partner and I came here for dessert and it was amazing! I got the snickerchurro which was amazing! The size was so generous wnd it was thick! My partner got the chocolate strawberry and it was amazing! They are big portions and tasted even better heated up. We will definitely be back! The staff was so nice to offer us heated!

Google
I received the cookies initially as a gift but I became so hooked on them that I just had to get my hands on more! Not only was I lucky enough to visit their location inside the Menlo Park mall over Christmas, but I was even inspired to purchase gift boxes for a few family members. It’s so wonderful that they will ship anywhere in the US! Looking forward to tasting more of these cookies soon

Being near NYC and having everything at your fingertips there are unlimited options when it comes to cookies, and we are obsessed with Bang Cookies! We purchase every time we see a store (including at Terminal A in Newark Airport no matter the time of day) and even ordered a massive order for takeaway treats for our wedding guests this past year. HIGHLY recommend ordering for yourself (or for an event) they are seriously the best.

Google
This place is absolutely amazing if you're looking for a sugar rush in the Grove Street area! They have a decent selection of cookies with different varieties to choose from. Although, there's one thing you should know - if you happen to swing by around 9:30ish on Fridays and Saturdays, they tend to run out of most of the cookies. It's a bit strange, right? I mean, how can a place close early and run out of popular flavors on one of the busiest streets in town, especially on weekend nights? But hey, don't let that discourage you! Their brownies might not be my cup of tea, but you should definitely give their cookies a try. My personal favorites are the triple chocolate chunk and sea salt chocolate cookies. Trust me, they're worth it!

Google
The people here were really accommodating and gave us cookies even when they were closing. Sadly the cookies were just that. They were overly sweet and had that artificial flavor which is just no good. The place where it’s located is also not great and you might have to deal with a few drunk people on your way.

Google
This place never disappoints. Located near grove st path station, it's easily accessible. The staff is friendly and the cookies no doubt are good. The good thing is these people have shakes in their menu which I didn't find in their heights outlet. Tried out their signature bourbon kitchen sink and loved how it wasn't too sweet and had the taste of whisky in it.

Google
Great, soft cookies served warm. I must day that this place is delicious. The only small criticism that I have is that the ice cream is cheap ice cream with low milk fat content. It was slightly disappointing to get ice cream that had no rich creamy sweetness to contrast the cookie-Especially since the cookie was perfectly warm and salty/buttery. Lesson learned though. It’s bang cookies and not bang ice cream anyways.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and get banged at Bang Cookies! Delicious and large cookies with many different choices. Fresh, warm, gooey, and melt in your mouth. Definity a high calorie treat and good thing I run a lot during the week to burn these off, but so worth it. Not cheap, so it's a once in a while embellishment if you live close by. So it's a good thing that it's over in Jersey and not near me in Manhattan! Oh, and the salted chocolate chip cookie was the correct choice. Always.

Chris L.

Yelp
Delicioussssss warm cookie. Youll get a crazy quick sugar rush. Small shop downtown jersey city

A'Yanna E.

Yelp
Tasty, giant cookies. Nice staff always! They know how to engage & sell wherever they are selling. Always a pleasant customer buying experience. I like the s'mores cookie!

Dara R.

Yelp
I honestly expected more from a cute dessert place in Jersey City. Maybe a warm and fresh baked cookie like they display in the bakeries when you walk in and there's a homely aroma NOT here. The cookies are simply in particular bins in wrappers and aren't even warmed when you buy them. The storage of putting them in plastic bins and just handing them to the customer isn't very attractive and the price of one cookie is way too much for how little effort goes into the presentation. I got the s'mores cookie which is just a bunch of stuff on top of a chocolate chip cookie and they definitely need to do something more inviting like warm them up or at least display them in a glass case to make you feel like you're getting something gourmet. Not worth it. Sorry.

Yelp
What happened?! I've been a huge fan of Bang Cookies for years, even before they opened this smaller shop on Newark Ave and I'd get their free local delivery. But recently I tried the cookies (on two occasions) and they were only so-so. At their prime, I would argue Bang was better than Levain and I was buying cookie cakes for parties left and right. Now I don't know if the ingredients changed or the cookies are old, but all my favorites have not been good. They're still better than a Nabisco cookie but nowhere near the amazing deliciousness they used to be. I hope things improve because this makes me so sad.

Josie L.

Yelp
I'm conflicted! The cookies are good but I think for 6 dollars a cookie they should be crazy good ya know what I mean? They definitely overcharge. I also asked the man to warm it up and the middle was the only part that got warm- like for 6 dollars warm the whole cookie man The cookies are yummy but is it worth it? I don't think so ‍ I'd rather make my own

Frankie M.

Yelp
Ok i dont like to give out low rating or bad reviews. But when your charging $4-5 a cookie. Then you have to deal with the criticism. I bought 5 cookies from here to see which ones i would like more and none of them satisfied my tastebuds. I couldn't finish any of them. Even my friend who is a cookie lover couldn't finish any either. A $25 mistake on my part but sometimes we learn the hard way. We would have been better off with some Oreos. I dont mind spending the money on something i enjoy. Like the cookies at Levain bakery on the upper west side. Now they r some good a** cookies. Check my review on them and look at the difference in quality. Now for the cookies they were bland and have a weird texture to them they r wrapped and dont tase fresh at all. Seems like they value quantity over quality. And definitely tastes like it.

Yelp
Great cookies - 5 star After my last experience of not being able to redeem my points in store, I decided to place an order online and pick it up. apparently you can't just buy any cookies and have points redeemed. It's a elfin weird process. You add cookies, go to checkout, within the checkout system they have "some cookies" that are free. They may not actually have "free cookies" that you want. Also at one point when I checked my points there seemed to be 500 points, today there were only 202 points. What happened to my other 300 or so points? Pretty bad experience, slow website too. Uggh!

Meagan Bianca B.

Yelp
Holy cow. After the first bite I understood why this place was the best rated in the area. Cookie is warmed up before adding the ice cream. Large enough portion to share.

Yelp
(Tookout 12/24/21 FR @ 11:30am): These cookies certainly had a bang to them! On Day 5 of my vacation as I visited a very dear friend for the Christmas and New Year holidays, she decided to take me on a walking tour of Historic Downtown Jersey City, and our second stop was at Bang Cookies. The longtime marketer in me was curious and drawn by their humorous neon sign, "I Got Banged In Jersey City". Honestly, they should've sold t-shirts with this emblazoned on it! I loved cookies but rarely sought them out aside from the fun limited-edition Oreo flavors whenever I went to the grocery store. How would this out-of-character visit to a cookie shop be for this self-proclaimed cookie monster!? PURCHASE Stuffed Caramel Sea Salt Chocolate Cookie ($5.50): Large, thick, but sadly not warm, I broke off pieces that bled out gooey caramel and once in my mouth the explicit saltiness was tantalizingly tasty https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=fgc4T0KVn66ybmijs1yOBQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Deluxe Rocky Road Peanut Chip Cookie ($5.00): One of my favorite ice cream flavors, they emulated it nicely in a cookie form but felt it excluded an ingredient or two but couldn't exactly place which ones. Heck... maybe this should be an ice cream cookie sandwich https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=gsv_hFmU_pUYRP67UsVLqw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! Deluxe S'mores Cookie ($5.00): Nearly like the dessert we all made over an open campfire or threw together while at home, I broke off chunks that stretched out marshmallows along with small ribbons of chocolate. I recommended that this particular cookie should be reheated to try and recapture as much as possible the true s'mores experience https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=42Faz8H2AMfzQRshiF9e-Q&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Classic Macadamia White Chocolate Chunk Cookie ($4.50): Definitely a classic choice wherever you bought cookies, plenty of macadamia nuts and chocolate in every bite, this has been one of my favorite types of cookies and they amazingly did a good job https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=bPHtxLQl5B3SiGBc4zgv9Q&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! SERVICE Greeted by one young woman behind the counter while the other attended to another customer, once I was ready I easily placed my order, paid, and simply left with my prized purchase. Sadly, neither employee seemed thrilled to be working on Christmas Eve, and I didn't expect these cookies to be prepackaged rather fresh out of the oven as the aroma of baked goods hit you when you first opened the door. Otherwise, all was fine. PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance) We walked, so this wasn't an issue. However, I didn't notice any private lots or structures but there appeared to be plenty of parking along the main drag of Newark Ave. and all surrounding streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Barely a small box that at most accommodated no more than five people (less during these COVID-19 social distancing times), I believed they also had an outdoor order window, but inside it was all an order counter where they made cookie shakes, cookie sandwiches and bowls, and then prepackaged cookies with a highly visible price menu on the wall behind the counter https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=fp95KKfHmkx464Qty5cfMQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Absolutely no room for any indoor dining or any decorations. Plenty of natural lighting came through the large front window and door while minimal electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were no TVs while music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=7ZDovOBHNRMj2xhXynNmgA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Temperatures were in the 40s, so I was bundled-up from head-to-toe. Otherwise, this place was totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Although I loved cookies, I honestly was swayed by Bang Cookies' neon sign "I Got Banged In Jersey City" (another marketing ploy that reeled in this long-time marketer). As I lamented to my friend, this was the highest price I've ever paid for a single cookie and surprised myself that I didn't just walk out without having bought anything. However, I was happy to try them albeit a one-and-done situation. Their cookies were lovely but I wished they were fresh and warm, and the limited service was all that was required. I was curious about their shakes and sandwiches. And, it was always a pleasure to support small local mom & pop businesses like this one. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $20.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

Yelp
We love getting "sumthing sweet" after a good meal so my crew and I headed to bang cookies for out fix. 1. We were the annoying ppl that came 10 min before closing and they still serviced us with a smile. They also took the time to "figure out" what kinda sweet we wanted ! I'm a chocolate girl so i got the triple chocolate cookie and the sea salt chocolate chip. Saved one for when I was home, popped it in the oven and Spend your coin but please don't be like my friends and I and go before closing!

Vicky L.

Yelp
I think if you look at the records I am Bang Cookies number 1 customer. During 2020 - 2021, I would order from them all the time because they offered free local delivery if you ordered 8 cookies or more. I learned very quickly that you could freeze these babies and reheat them in the oven just like fresh baked, so I ordered and I ordered a lot. Fast forward to now and they have a store on Newark Avenue. Well, I have to stop by every time I pass now. On top of it, I like to share. Especially good things. So these cookies have been sent everywhere - to family and friends all over the country for special occasions. I don't kid when it comes to good cookies. My favorite - the smore's cookie hands down, especially if you can get it freshly baked. O M G. I also love the walnut chocolate chip, the sea salt chocolate chip, macadamia nut. Right now I am awaiting the new sugar cream pie cookie!! Let me be the first to know Bang, please!

Natalie V.

Yelp
Stopped by for the sign, thought it was hilarious. Got a kitchen sink and a double chocolate. Very rich tasting for both of them, I'm a chocolate lover so I preferred the double chocolate. Nothing crazy about either, but it's a cookie. Worth stopping by the counter to grab one if you're in the mood.

Basma N.

Yelp
I am such a cookie lover and am determined to try all the cookie places. Bang cookies has a nice aesthetic, it's a tiny shop you can enter but you can also order at the window (next to the iconic sign). There are great cookie options for everyone but I am simple, I like a basic chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was good but it wasn't as ooey gooey as I would have liked. It was kind of on the harder side and I prefer soft cookies. But it satisfied my cookie craving.

Steph Y.

Yelp
I discovered Bang Cookies years ago before they even had a storefront and fell in love with it immediately. Not only are their cookies super delicious (I've tried many flavors and loved them all) but they are also organic! Cookies are around $5 each, a little more if you want the ones with booze in them. The texture is perfect, nice and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside & stay fresh for a while. Staff is always super nice and it smells amazing in here! Don't forget to sign up for their rewards if you plan to come back :)

Jermaine L.

Yelp
Bang cookie has been great for quite a few years but they have gone down hill recently and I don't think I'll be buying from them anymore. The last few orders I have received from bang have had issues. One order had pieces of small metal in a cookie. The order after they ran out of the cookie I selected and didn't even call me or email me if I wanted to swap them for something else (like they normally do) and the very last time I tried to place an order for delivery. After 1hr out of the delivery window i noticed that I did not receive a confirmation that the order was picked up. I notified them via email and a person from Bang emailed me back they were out one of the flavors and asked if I would like to replace it with another. I emailed back with a replacement suggestion and 1hr later I noticed I still have not received any updates about my delivery. I then emailed them to cancel the order and right after I emailed them I received a notification my order was out for delivery. Well the order was never delivered and when I got in contact with the driver he stated Bang canceled the order per my request. I then had to contact bang about the order and the person responded that I had asked to cancel. I told them 1) no one ever emailed me back with a response 2) I never received a cancelled confirmation 3)I received a notification from Bang that my order was out for delivery I asked them to refund my money back and they did but never apologized for what they did so I think I'm done with them.

Yelp
Best cookies in Nj Absolutely delicious Almost always fresh Open late Everyone im in the area I stop by for one

Wesley A.

Yelp
Loved the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. Was moist and delicious. Only downfall was that it falls apart quickly. Ingredients were organic, which was appreciative and texture was in par with a typical cookie. Will definitely try again.

Elisa H.

Yelp
Super solid thick cookie. That is dense, soft and light at the same time with a bit of cookie dough undoneness all packaged neatly together like a fat hockey puck. Then the outside is crispy crunchy and smack in the middle is usually some mass of caramel or chocolate crema. We had the espresso white chocolate that had no filling but turned out to be our favorite- the white chocolate chips were slightly melty with that oh so perfect brownie cookie texture. Then the snickledoodle had the exact same textual integrity but filled w a dulce de leche cream. The cream I didn't care for but the cookie was a-ok. Def returning to pick up a couple more but it's so indulgent we have to spread it out.

James B.

Yelp
Entered store approximate 6:55 p.m. My family and I stood in front of the counter and the employees made us wait in an empty store because the female employee was busy cleaning as her coworker stood at the register talking to her. I mean; I'm spending $5+ for a cookie for a total of $61 and instead of them saying I'm sorry how can I help you the female behind the counter explain in the nastiest way that we will be waiting until she is done become cleaning takes priority. My wife then asked for the manager and the female employee stated I'll call her now and walked away and ordered there coworker to help us. If it wasn't for my kids waiting for cookies I would have taken my business elsewhere. I doubt this store will be open much longer!

Erin K.

Yelp
For $5/cookie, I'm expecting a really good cookie. These cookies weren't that. Too dense, taste was super mediocre. Disappointing for sure. Not worth the price and near too many other great dessert spots to spoil your gut. Major pass.

Brian P.

Yelp
You would think for a 5 dollar cookie that this cookie would actually taste good but unfortunately these cookies are just not it. I'd rather just go to the Duane reade next door and pick up some mass produced cookies for a cheaper price. I feel like their quality has just gone down hill, I will definitely look elsewhere for cookies.

Nicholas G.

Yelp
They resemble Levain cookies but are nowhere near as good. Not a fan of these cookies. I'm not a baker but they are missing something. They are also expensive which I guess is typical these days for these gourmet cookies. I cannot understand why they come in plastic wrap. It makes them feel not fresh even though they did taste fresh. Unfortunately, these cookies are lacking flavor. I love cookies but these didn't do it for me. 3 stars.

Alyssa V.

Yelp
I have to be honest, these aren't my favorite cookies. I don't know if I have high standards for cookies or my friend talked them up so much but I've definitely had better. What I will say is the location is prime for an after bar snack on the weekends

Brenda C.

Yelp
I happened to have spied this cookie store as I was walking to the restaurant and saw this cookie shop. Hubby has a huge sweet tooth so I made a mental note to stop in later for a cookie to take home with us. Can I say, OMG, what a fantastic way to end the night after having a wonderful dinner? Hubby and I purchased The Kitchen Sink cookie. It was a deluxe cookie and I knew I could not finish one by myself. I forced hubby to share it and told him he could have the bigger half when we got home. After arriving home, I broke that cookie in half giving him the bigger half, and dare I say, this cookie is decadent and stuffed! Did I mention it's huge and big enough to share? It is a considerable-sized cookie and when they say, "size does matter," I say, "yes it does as we enjoyed every mouthful!" The Kitchen Sink boasts plenty of chocolate chips, walnuts, cinnamon, and wait, is that vanilla I taste? All the flavors shine through and while it is very sweet, I must say, it is addictive. Considering we purchased this cookie in the evening, the cookie was soft and freshly made. How is this possible at this time of night? As the cashier explained, they use only organic wheat flour and fresh ingredients, and these soft-chewy cookies are always baked fresh daily and often throughout the day. He offered to heat it up for us but since we were going to eat it later in the evening, he suggested we heat it up in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. Trust me, you don't need to because these are so incredibly soft and chewy in the best way possible. FYI: during these pandemic times, this cookie shop extraordinaire currently take orders through the window. The window remains closed at all times except when you are placing your order and then when they are handing it to you. Most cookies cost around $5 - $6.50 and you can indulge yourself further by adding ice cream and then jimmies (sprinkles) to it if your heart and waistline allow. I'm so glad we stopped by Bang Cookies before we headed home. It definitely gave us a happy and delicious ending to the evening. #ThankYouThursday2021

Yelp
Saw this cookie store would be at Smorgasburg and was SO excited. The cookies look absolutely amazing on their Instagram (their marketing skills are 10/10)- they appear to be crunchy on the outside, and warm and gooey on the inside. Every video of every cookie made my mouth water. Stopped by the tent at the event in Prospect Park, and to my surprise they were selling them individually in bags, that you were to go home and heat up yourself. I bought 6 flavors, and hated them all. The one I was looking forward to most was the sea salt chocolate chip- first off, there was NO salt on the cookie to be found. Second off, the cookie was just HARD. It definitely didn't heat up the way they had intended it to. Texture and taste were both awful. Maybe the cookies are better at the storefront (not sure if you're always expected to heat them up yourself), but I really don't advise trying them out at Smorgasburg. They shouldn't even be selling them there if they're not representative of their cookies at their actual location. Huge disappointment!!!

Jasmine S.

Yelp
BANG! There is a reason why it's called Bang Cookies. They do taste Banging! We ordered our go-to S'mores cookie. They are a bit on the expensive side but they sure are good. The marshmallow is fluffy inside, chocolatey, and you get bits of pieces of graham crackers.

Perry S.

Yelp
Over priced underwhelming product. Service poor. Bunch of kids working there with no managerial oversight and walk up window awful. It's ok if you were .

Jessie N.

Yelp
This place is dope and worth a visit. These cookies are solid and but are light in weight. Got a few cookies and the ones that stood out to me were the Kitchen Sink Cookie and and the Walnut Chunk Cookie. Fun cookies to gift to people who aren't from the area and can't get their hands on them right away. My ONLY gripe, as others have mentioned is the fact that they're pre-packaged. I didn't know what to expect when I came here, but looking inward at my reaction, clearly, pre-packaged cookies were not what I was expecting. But honestly, if you're giving them as gifts or something pre-packaged is actually a good thing. Lol. I saw another reviewer note they requested to warm up the cookies, so I am going to try and request that next time. Notes: If you're there and debating whether or not to get cookies, just get them. I dilly dallied for a bit debating whether or not I should get some, and came back an hour later and the cookie (bourbon walnut toffee cookie) I was eyeing sold out already.

Desiree F.

Yelp
I have heard about this spot a few times and I always wanted to try it. I was coming out of my client's office and there was a store. I walked up and they had a walk up window. The girl at the register was so nice and answered all the questions I had. I knew good and well I shouldn't be eating this but I did it anyway. I ordered the peanut butter and chocolate cookie and that came to $4.50. She informed me the cookies are made fresh. When I got home I warmed it up and indulged. I noticed the cookie was rather oily and I wasn't too fond of the taste. Not a fan of the cookie overall.

The Critical J.

Yelp
PROS: This cookie stop is a hot area in Jersey City. Open late, serving everyone with decent prices are two reasons for why people come here. Staff is nice and get your orders quickly CONS: The cookies weren't actually as good as I thought. It was crumbly and not soft or even warm. My biggest pet peeve is that the place is so small you can't even go inside, and there's nowhere to sit. You order at a window and stand on the sidewalk to eat it OVERALL: if you're in the area I'd eat one, but lower you're expectations when you do

Thomas M.

Yelp
I've had my slew of oversized gooey cookies throughout the NYC area, between Bang, Chip, City Cakes, Levain, and others. These are #1 for me across all the categories of flavor creativity, texture, and balance of sweetness. (City Cakes ranks in as a close #2.) Their cookies range from $4.50 to $6 depending on the flavor. We purchased 4 - triple chocolate, s'mores, rocky road with peanut butter, and the kitchen sink. Unlike what other reviewers mentioned, I don't think these cookies need heating up the first 2 days after purchase. They were able to maintain a balance of softness and denseness that I enjoyed. Though if you do decide to heat them 10-15s in the microwave was perfect (30s made them a bit too soft). Our favorite was the triple chocolate, which tasted like a brownie. Second favorite was the s'mores - only issue was that the dry graham cracker chunks didn't seem to fit in well texturally with the rest of the cookie. We decided to lean more traditional this time, but will be back to try flavors like the apple pie, chocolate strawberry, etc!

Jackie S.

Yelp
Bang cookies. Bomb cookies. Damn. So good. I had the kitchen sink and the PBJ. Both excellent (liked the kitchen sink better but both were VERY good). Service was awesome. Also, they stay good for a while so you can stock up. I got banged in JC and I'll be coming back for more.

Yelp
So many cookies later and I never EVER get tired of this spot. Bang cookies are absolutely AMAZING & in my opinion they're seriously the BEST cookies I have ever had and trust me I've had plenty. They're kind of pricey per cookie ($4.5 to 5.5ish) but they're HUGE. I usually cut them in half or in 4ths if I just want a small piece and it's still really satisfying. If you eat an entire cookie in one sitting, trust me, you'll be stuffed. Both locations have you line up outside and serve you outside-- no one goes in. Employees also wear masks and wipe down the credit card machine in between each transaction. Employees are always helpful when you can't decide what cookie you want to get, super nice people. These are my absolute FAVORITES from bang cookies: (I usually bring these home and toss them in the microwave for a few seconds before eating them-- & that really takes it to the NEXT LEVEL) - Sea Salt Chocolate Chunk: You can never go wrong with a chocolate chip cookie, especially when it's SO decedent and rich. The outside is ever so slightly crispy, you totally get a hint of that sea salt with each bite and it goes amazingly with the gooey, super chocolatey center. - S'Mores: You can taste graham cracker, gooey marshmallows and of course their AMAZING chocolate. This cookie will have you coming back for more. -Snickerchurro: oh my god. Seriously so so good, it's the best one they have in my opinion and it's new! It's a cross over between a snickerdoodle and a churro (of course) but somehow they make the flavors mix together so well without being over powering. I get this one every time. Triple Chocolate: Every chocolate lovers DREAMMMMM COOKIE! Macadamia white chocolate chunk: super nutty flavor, tastes so fresh every time I get it and they add the perfect amount of white chocolate in the cookie. What I appreciate the most about this establishment is that everything is organic, it says it right on the package! They use organic vanilla, organic chocolate, organic cane sugar and more. Needless to say, I'll be back at Bang Cookies, I practically a regular at this point. I highly recommend trying these! Or sending them as a gift. This is a great gift to get.

Yelp
Bang has opened up in the heart of downtown jersey city. Right on newark, they have an area to sit, or a pick up window. Talk about convenience! Cookies are a steep $5.00, but theyre huge and PACKED with flavor. There might be other competitors in surrounding areas, but i love Bang Cookies because theyre not overcooked or not too doughy. Im sorry, but im over cookie dough shit and the dry cookies just dont do it for me. I dont like milk, and dont want to have to dip a cookie or grab a drink after. The Bang cookies are slightly dense and slightly undercooked, leaving the inside moist. Yes i said it, moist.

Yelp
After dinner my son talked me into going to Bang Cookies for a quick dessert. I had never been before so I couldn't wait to try. The location was good. There was quite a bit going on in the area in terms of restaurants and entertainment. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed is that the place was so tiny. There was one customer inside but then I noticed they take orders and provide full service from a window located on the outside of the establishment. It took me about 5 minutes to choose what I wanted. They have a pretty good selection of cookies and I had a hard time trying to decide if I wanted the Snickerchurro which sounded pretty good or if I wanted double chocolate or something with nuts. In the end, I chose a chocolate chip walnut cookie but when I placed the order, the employee recommended the bourbon toffee walnut as a tastier choice so I went with that one. The cookie cost $6.00 which at first, I thought was a bit pricey but the cookie was fairly big- measuring at 4x4 inches (yes I actually measured it) and the thickness was just as generous- definitely thicker then your average cookie. The ingredients on the package were somewhat simple. They were: Organic flour, Organic cane sugar, Organic brown sugar, Grass-fed butter, Organic dark chocolate, Organic toffee, Roasted walnuts,Organic eggs, Organic corn starch, Organic bourbon, Organic vanilla, salt, non-gmo baking powder and baking soda. The lady at the window asked me if I wanted the cookie heated up and I politely declined. She told me the cookie was cold because it just came out of the refrigerator/freezer (can't remember which one) and if I wanted it heated up, I can pop it in the microwave for 15 secs when I get home. When I got home, I wanted to eat the cookie and I decided not to heat it up. Every single bite of that cookie was delicious! It was chewy on the inside with a bit of crunch on the outside. Absolutely amazing!

Yelp
Stopped by to get the Triple Chocolate ice cream sandwich- the cookie was DELICIOUS! However, I wish they had more ice cream options- they only had vanilla available. I also wish the guy who made the sandwich did a better job because right when I got it- opened the box and it was already falling apart. Next time, I might just stick to the cookie! There is no inside seating but if you are lucky, you might be able to get an empty bench in the area.

Yelp
The cookies are enormous! The seasonal chocolate peppermint has an oozing decadent my dole that when heated......MM MMMM!

Yelp
One of those thick, gooey, filling filled cookies in the style of places like Levain's, City Cakes, and Chip. I've tried them all and for this style of thick, bulky, substantial cookie, I prefer this place. It's a slight win over Levain's (I am not into City Cakes or Chip at all.) I've only tried the sea salt chocolate chip, which I liked. One cookie was enough sweet for me. I might try other flavors if I happen to be in the Grove St area.

Yelp
Stopped in on a whim because I was walking by and I know one of the employees. Had to pick up some of these outrageous cookies. I've had them a few times when visiting friends, but I finally got to choose my own. I got the PBJ, chocolate covered strawberry, smores, and chocolate chip sea salt caramel. They were all SO good and my crew devoured them all. We like to cut them up so everyone can try all the flavors. The PBJ was my favorite of these. One of my other favorite (more basic) cookies is the classic chocolate chip sea salt. They're around $5 apiece more or less but they're hefty and loaded with goodness. They have a covid window right now.

Yelp
$4.50 for huge and delightful cookies! Don't let the price scare you as you're definitely getting your money's worth of a sweet treat. Popular flavors include: sea salt chocolate chip, snicker churro (cinnamon + dulce de leche) and s'mores. You can either order at the window or go inside. If you find yourself in the latter, take a peek at the cookie dough. Huge gobs of YUM! :)

Yelp
I was envisioning great tasting warm cookie baked on premise. What I got was an overpriced bland prepackaged cold hard cookie.

Yelp
Stevens and Angela are the reasons why I would return Their service was unmatched I could get a cookie anywhere but this is the spot !! They make the cookies themselves and the smell so heaven !! I am so mad at this place because I'm supposed to be on a diet and this place is going to challenge that Fuck that diet I will be a regular. See you soon!

Yelp
Omg! I havnt had outside cookies in a while since everywhere it was underwhelming! However bang cookies deliver! I got the kitchen sink cookie and it was amazing! Salty sweet crunchy and super rich and delicious! I did get a bit black coffee and had to drink a lot of water later to overcome the fact that I ate a giant 5oz cookie but it was worth it! Highly recommend the place, they bake cookies on site, fresh and are all organic and natural.

Yelp
Cookies are fine. Baked/"crunchy" exterior with a soft/gooey inside. They taste ok but, people wait in line for these?! And pay $5 per cookie?? And half the options were sold out by 9pm? Noooooo thanks.

Yelp
Kitchen sink cookie, 10/10 highly recommend. I am not a cookie person, I'm more of an ice cream/cake girl but my friend who got this cookie said it was worth the review, said it was amazing. So I felt compelled to let people know. Customer service was 10/10 as well.

Yelp
This oatmeal and raisin cookie has got to be one of the best cookies I've ever tasted. It was so fat no pun intended and moist. I'm talking about melt in your mouth moist. It was so big and plump I was able to save half for the next day. The next morning I popped it in the microwave for a few seconds and it was just as good if not better the next day. This place gets a thumbs up from me. If you're ever in Jersey City and looking for something sweet....this is your place.

Yelp
Ok here's the truth about this place. I'm giving a review based of theory because the actual items I had were not really good. BUT the cookie is a good solid cookie, it HAS to be warm though. which is a slight issue bc the cookie becomes a rock once the ice cream touches it. This cookie cannot be eaten room temp or cold because it gets hard and it's just not good. The ice cream (not sure what brand it is maybe blue bunny? Or maybe an off brand idk) but the ice cream is thick and good. It's not strong vanilla flavor (which I do like) but the ice cream is good! I also think the idea of the ice cream sandwich with one cookie is good because you can get the cookie cut in half. We got the bowl this time which is ALOT honestly you could prolly share it. But these cookies have a lot of potential. I'm honestly giving 4 stars instead of 3 because the lady that worked the counter was amazing and super nice!

Yelp
Been following bang cookies for a bit on ig and when in the area I made sure made sure to stop by to stuff myself with a few of their banging cookies. Was able to try a few different flavors with friends. When heated up cookies are thick, gooey, decadent and soft. Really dig how they have the ingredients on the back of their packaging which are made with many organic products. I've tried a ton of different cookie companies (especially from ig) and these match up with some of the better ones out there taste wise. Highly recommend stuffing your face with some of their delicious sweets.
