Bangers & Lace Evanston

Amazing Baby Shower Venue! I rented out B&L for my baby shower on a Sunday morning. Chris and his team were amazing, and made sure everything went smoothly. The food was great and the ambiance unique. All of my guests were raving about the food and the decor. It was nice to have private access to the restaurant for a super reasonable price. I highly recommend having a private party at Bangers and Lace, you will not be disappointed!

Gorgeous rustic space with a touch of feminine decor and cozy atmosphere. Great for an intimate date or large group of friends. We ordered a fantastic bottle of brut champagne. Food was good, plenty veg options and variety of drinks. We recommend the cauliflower bites filled with tangy sweetness and spicy kick.

We really enjoyed their cheese curds which were served fresh with some Sriracha mayo type sauce. They have a good selection of beers and wines however they have changed their drink menu and now don’t include some favorites.

The cheese curds were the highlight of the meal, with a pleasant kick of heat, while not being too greasy. The interior decoration was very unique, but it almost appeared as if different decades and locations had all been combined into one. The extremely large, rotating selection of beers on draft was unique and exciting. The burger was unfortunately disappointing, it was undercooked, served on a soggy bun with no remarkable sauces or toppings.

Bangers and Lace is a great place to chill and have some drinks. Not a huge food menu but it has enough to keep you full. The drink menu is amazing, everything from whiskey, wine and beer. The staff is very friendly the place has a very cozy feel to it. I don’t know if I would bring my kids here for a $9 hot dog. The prices aren’t horrible compared to the same type of places. The wings, cheese curds and fried pickles were delicious. The dessert which is Nutella stuffed donut balls were ok not worth $8 for 3 small donuts. They made a pretty good old fashioned.

Quaint Pub and bar. Lively atmosphere and amazing variety of sausages. You cant go wrong. Several choices for beer and novelty drinks to die for.

Awesome food! More awesome beer selection. If you are into comfort food and brews this is the place for you. The Mac and cheese is the... well... cheesiest!

The atmosphere here is pretty modern and very cabin like. Very different from other bars which was nice. I liked that there were sofas for seating. I went around 9-10pm which didn't get packed at all. The Banger and Lace Rye that's aged for 2.5 years was my personal favorite. The price was not bad for one ounce for 8$. Our waiter knew the menu very well and gave us great recommendations. Next time I would love to try the Catcher and the Rye flight. We did try the deviled eggs which I thought was a little bit too much of flavor. I was thinking it was going to be more of a traditional devils egg, but it had its own touch to it. I probably would not order it again, but my cousin enjoys them. Overall, it's a great bar with great alcohol selections.
