London’s New Restaurant Openings

"After delivering breakfast baps to the egg and sausage-obsessed residents of east London, Bangers are opening a permanent location in Shoreditch. They’ll still deliver, but you can now pop in too. There are the same fillings—smashed sausage patties, eggs, cheese, a choice of homemade sauces—served on Spence Bakery brioche buns and English muffins. The sides sound good too: hash browns and cheesy baked beans, plus bottles of virgin marys." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Nice breakfast muffin. They use high quality ingredients. The meat is from HG Walter and the eggs are cacklebean. They make their own sauces too. Quick and friendly staff. One tiny criticism is that they could add a bit of seasoning to the patty. The coffee is also a from Allpress.

Lots of choice and delicious food and drinks. Hash browns are perfectly crisp and portions are very generous. I recommend the big smoke with the homemade tomato chilli jam 👌

This place was across from our hotel and thought we’d give it a try and so glad we did!! Had the BEST Egg, Bacon & Cheese muffin for breakfast both mornings and had a perfect coffee to go with. 100% worth a trip and will be back the next time I’m in the area ❤️

A great place to grab a breakfast. The service was slow, but the staff were very friendly. I loved the American diner style. I had the sausage pot and hash browns. Both very tasty.

Veggie muffin with cheese and egg, as I dislike egg I was offered a hash brown to replace this and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. A little expensive but not extortionate, pricing as I would expect for the area. Service fast and friendly on a quiet Saturday morning, I imagine it is a longer wait in the week

Coffee plus breakfast muffins exceptionnel quality. The best i muffins i have ever had at a coffee shop. They have used ingrédients of top quality. Bé very proud of the food you service. I would hightlight still without reducing the rating, the pastries are not good at all. It was surprising that your muffins and meat quality of patties and eggs are top quality then why such poor quality pastries of Crossaints etc? It tasted like very poor store bought (worse than store bought) i had to leave it after 1 bite. How could it bé so bad? Something is not adding up. Please change supplier because it is such a simple thing that you can improve to take pride in the quality of food you serve.

Bangers by name, bangers by nature! I'd found this place by Googling for best breakfast sandwiches in London and I can see why. Very friendly service. I was advised when ordering there would be a 10 minute wait for food but it was worth the wait. The drinks were served very quickly. I sometimes ask for breakfast sandwiches without the egg, however this was cooked to perfection. When I bit into it the yolk oozed out and made for a delicious breakfast sandwich. The meal deal included the sandwich, two hash browns and a drink. At £13.50, it is quite expensive, but definitely worth it as a treat during my London break.

came in at 8am on a tuesday, first time trying after wanting to go for agessss. the food was very, very good :) BEC + hash browns, could not fault either. the person who took my order, however, was so unhelpful and weirdly confrontational, that i'll think twice about going back sadly. maybe get it on deliveroo instead....?
