The place is small and cute. The service was excellent. The menu has interesting dishes that makes the place feel authentic. The roti Massaman was very good but I wish the sauce was more spicy. The fried quail egg wontons lacked flavor. The Massaman curry was delicious however the beef was a bit tough and chewy. Definitely would come back to try more dishes.

Came here for the first time, ordered squid panang curry, khao soi, and curry puffs. All were so delicious. The staff was also so friendly! Would definitely be back again!

This should be on your list if you’re looking for good Thai in the area. Their menu is huge and they have almost anything you’d want. The place inside is small so try to make a reservation beforehand. Fresh and good quality food, what more can you ask for!

Great authentic Thai dishes, the drinks are so fun and delicious. I loved the atmosphere and the roti was one of the best I have ever tried ! They were soft fluffy light and crispy without feeling too oily. Highly recommend !

bangkok degree is my go to thai restaurant. i know pad thai is basic but theirs is so good, especially when you can switch up the protein. i’ve enjoyed it with crispy pork and shrimp another time and both were so delicious. we also tried the red snapper which we loved.

So the food is actually amazing. Like every single thing here was good and it's rare to get that at a restaurant. We went a few weeks ago so I only remember these dishes: Karee Soft Shell Crab Crispy soft shell crab Zabb Wings Fried chicken wings, chili-lime roasted rice dry rub seasoning, topp Crispy Pork Stone Pot Homemade crispy pork, The chicken wings wow are absolutely packed with seasoning, seriously PACKED. It was soooo good but also a bit too overpowering but also sooo good. I need a glass of water on the side just in case. The soft shell crab you can't go wrong with that either and it was nicely fried. Overall everything was good, I'd come back.

I love Thai food. I make it a point to search for authentic Thai cuisine especially places that make the Kra Prow ka dish which is minced chicken with vegetables, rice and a fried eye. Not many restaurants in the city offer this dish on their menu. This place had it. Yay! I called them last night for takeout and specifically mentioned that the food should be mildly spicy. I ordered gai sub basil over rice (the mined chicken dish i mentioned earlier), drunken noodle with chicken for my husband and the papaya salad to share- all mild. The dishes were still a bit spicy for me but they were good. I really enjoyed the drunken noodles and the papaya salad. Overall, I wish we got a little more food for the price we paid for our takeout order. I can't believe the Gai sub basil over rice was $20. I definitely feel i should have gotten more for that price. Three dishes (2 entrees and 1 salad) costed $54 and change. Their prices are a bit high for my taste; I wonder if it's because they are located in Park Slope. Also, my husband said when he paid for the food with credit card the tip defaulted to 25%. That's not right. They shouldn't default to that high amount.

This interior is to die for. It's super cute with all the floral but everything else was very very mid. I'll start with the pros: Tea salad: refreshing; reminded us of a poke bowl Curry puffs: flakey and good amount of filling Roti massaman: curry is sweeter than usual and the roti is very oily it's ok (can skip) Drunken noodle: spicy and flavorful Crab fried rice: love the wok hay, good flavor - my favorite dish of the night Steamed pudding dessert: it was so good warm, not sweet, coconut flavor was great Con's: Wings: super salty and sour. It was just wayyyy too salty. I tried to eat. But I just couldn't handle it. This was just not it. Fried branzino: super oily, the fish had no flavor at all. The sauce that it came with was a must to eat with it. Crème brûlée cheesecake: tastes super artificial and made our mouths feel bitter afterwards. I really don't know how to explain it but this needs to be removed off the menu... Espresso martini: had milk, no coffee taste, straight alcohol only. Overall, I would probably come back for the crab fried rice and try other stir fry noodles only. I'll skip the cocktails... and stay away from some of the apps& branzino

This place deserves 6 stars! The food was phenomenal. Flavorful and large portions. The space is a bit small so don't expect to be able to move around much or have private conversations. Servers were very friendly and checked in a few rimes to see if we needed anything. In general the pad Thai was my favorite. It's definitely worth trying.

Amazing food! Highly recommend! I always order Togo from here and I was happy. So one day I decided to dine in. I really like that they are busy and busting but food came promptly. If you want quiet date night, I would not recommend it but fun to dine with bunch of friends!

Super tiny place and swear the people here are hustling, because not enough staff vs patrons. Anyways, I came here just for the quail egg rangoon. I love quail and I love rangoon, but this didn't live up to the rave reviews. I wish they combined the egg and crab rangoon and that would have been a lot more interesting. Got pad thai - good Thai ice tea - good as well I mean overall, it was good, but I wouldn't have trekked all the way over here, because I could have went to a closer Thai restaurant that was near the doctor's office.

New trendy Thai spot I've been seeing a lot of on social media lately. Beautiful space with floral wall and hanging florals. Staff is super nice and accommodating. We ordered the Prala Papaya Salad (which is their papaya salad but with pickled fish added). I was intrigued by the pickled fish part so decided to give it a try. However, I didn't really find any fish in there so it must've been incorporated in the sauce or chopped finely. We got medium spicy which was pretty spicy already so Thai spice is really not for anyone who can't handle real heat. But the papaya salad still hit like the original. We also ordered a tom yum fried rice and crispy pork stone pot rice. I love tom yum soup so I wanted to try something different and have it in fried rice form. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference. I was expecting more of the lemongrass/sour taste like the soup usually has but it just tasted like a fried rice. But it was still delicious, so no complaints here. The crispy pork stone pot rice had a very interesting flavor. They even have the crispy rice that sticks at the bottom of the pot. Everything we ordered was delicious even if it had missing elements we expected. I think this place is staffed by actual Thai owners so expect authentic Thai food. Portions are very generous by the way. The menu must've changed from 1-2 years ago because they no longer have desserts I've seen people take pics of, like the Thai tea crepe cake. Trendy and delicious Thai food! Definitely recommend.

Great Thai place! We came on Sunday in the early afternoon. There was no wait and the place was relatively empty with a few take out orders. It was a festive interior with lots of dangling ceiling decorations. They have a lunch special, but it is not available during the weekends. I got the shrimp pad thai. Better than most pad thai I've had recently, but I like to use Soothr as my barometer. Close, but still not as good. The chicken thai fried rice was also very good. This would be a very clutch take out place if I lived in the neighborhood, but not as good as many places in Manhattan.

Fire vibes. Amazing food. Great service. All around a great experience. Loved every moment of our dining experience- and particularly that the food came out very fast (we were super hungry). We were in and out within 45 minutes. I would recommend this spot & come again! 10/10.

As someone who is allergic to almost all nuts (especially peanuts and cashews) and avoids Thai food because of this, I was on edge when visiting but I had a very pleasant experience! Cute little spot on union with cocktails-- though I only a Thai iced tea that was great! Great service and food came out within minutes! Tried the zab wings which were spicy but had too much of a twang for my liking. I had the pineapple fried rice with crispy pork (without cashew of course) and it was delicious! The pork could've been hotter temperature wise but the rice was hot. My friend tried the green curry which was good too!

I am so particular and picky when it comes to Thai food because I will either love it or hate it, and because of that I tend to avoid Thai restaurants. I came here for a friend's birthday and I was expecting to be ok with the food but the food here is on a whole other level!!! Bangkok Degree has resurrected my hope in Thai food (I guess I just haven't had the good spots yet). Bangkok Degree is definitely unlike any other Thai spots. They definitely specialize in flavor because each dish we had was packed with flavor and tastiness. Their chefs really know what they're doing. My friends and I ordered a bunch of food to share family-style, that they needed to combine another table to account for our dishes lol. My favorite here was either the Ocean Pacha dish or Drunken Noodles with squid. Their seafood here is really really good. Definitely try this spot out if you're looking for some good Thai food! :')

Bangkok Degree is a beautiful Thai restaurant by Park Slope. They have amazing appetizers like the Moo Ping and Roti Massaman. I would pass on the wings just cause I wish they were crispier, but the pork skewers were tender and meaty! The drunken noodles are actually made with ramen-texture noodles instead of the traditional flat noodles, but I enjoyed this for the dish anyways. They also gave lots of seafood and chicken in it. The crab fried rice was packed with crab meat and the sauce it came with added a nice spice. For dessert, try the Coconut Pudding for a warm and sweet treat. It's sticky, milky, and authentic! For a drink with the meal, definitely get the Thai Iced Tea. The service was also wonderful. Our server was very nice.

Cool trendy thai spot the interior is very fresh with flowers hanging up in the ceiling add a unique touch. I liked the wide and spacious tables which made the place good for big groups. The highlights were the apps the volcano wings were flavorful and tender. The tofu was crispy yet perfectly soft on the inside with a great chew. The pork skewers were flavorful and juicy I perfer them to the chicken satay which I would have skipped. I also would skip the tea leaf salad it was refreshing with the mix of cabbage and tea leaf but i would have liked more tea leaf with the salad The mains were highlighted with the crab fried rice which was loaded with crab meat and was a well balanced dish. The drunken noodles were a highlight with a great chew on the noodle with a great texture due to the high heat on the wok. The beef was perfectly cooked as well complimenting the noodles perfectly tender yet adding some oilness to the noodles. The beef shank was super tender but I didnt love the combination with the curry almost overpowering the meat. The red snapper was also a highlight perfectly seasoned and crispy to perfection and the salad combination added a freshness and offset the oilly fish great combo The thai iced tea was well balanced not overly sweet The waitress was very pleasant and responsive given our large order and even comped one of our desserts since it was a birth day meal *****Ten percent off if u pay with cash.******

Just had the most amazing Thai dining experience at Bangkok Degree in Park slope , Brooklyn. This restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a night out or a special celebration. We tried the Prime rib Masaman Curry, and oh my goodness, the flavors were out of this world. The prime rib was perfectly cooked, and the masaman curry had just the right balance of spices. The colossal Crab Meat Fried rice is also a must-try. It is loaded with a lot of crab meat. For a refreshing twist , we also ordered the spicy herb Fried Snapper with lemongrass and chilli lime paste dressing. It was a burst of flavors-spicy, tangy, and absolutely delicious. Don't forget the cocktails . The bartender really know their craft, and the drinks perfectly complemented the bold flavors of the dishes. They were fantastic. A big shoutout to the staff for their excellent service. They were attentive and friendly, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. What a very cute Thai restaurant! I absolutely loved everything about this place. Food - I ordered the Tom Kha chicken soup and pineapple fried rice. The Tom Kha soup hit the spot so well! I'm so glad they made it well because some places make it so watery and theres no flavor but they did such an amazing job. The pineapple fried rice was so DELISH! It was chefs kiss! So much flavor, so much shrimp and pineapple. I saved some for a midnight snack and it was just as delicious. Service - The ladies were super friendly. When we went, they said if we pay with cash it is 10% off! So it was a great. They also came promptly with the food and checked up on us occasionally. Environment - The shop is super cute! The decorations make it feel like home. They have plenty of seating. You definitely have to add this on one of your to-go-to Thai restaurants here! It's a hit!

Very solid Thai restaurant in Park Slope! The four dishes we ordered were all good portion sizes and pretty tasty, but nothing spectacular. We got some classics such as beef and basil, pad see ew, and chicken larb. We also decided to try one of their signature dishes, the Prime Rib Massaman. The meat could have been a bit more tender, but it was still pretty good. I would've liked if the curry were a bit thicker so the rice could soak it up a bit better. Overall, pretty solid and I definitely would come back and try more dishes!

If you're into authentic Thai cuisine this is the place for you. You'll love the flavors and the fantastic variety the menu offers. We had the prime masaman rib, masaman roti, moo ping, pad Thai with crispy pork, DB Drunken Noodles, and a few drinks. It was an amazing experience. The flavors were so fantastic and genuinely Thai. The drinks came in fast and were delicious.the masaman roti was absolutely divine and the entrees were so well portioned that we have enough to take away. I was pleasantly surprised that they gave a 10% discount for paying cash. Overall I would definitely come back and try more of the menu. The restaurant ambience was intricately decorated with lots of flowers and Christmas decorations in a stylish fashion. The waiter was exceptionally on top of answering any questions and making sure our water was always topped off.

Probably the best Thai spoe in North Slope (which unfortunately is not saying much given the dearth of good Thai restaurants here). Seems to be primarily a take out operation but they have a pretty space for dining in as well. Best things to order here are the Thai classics - pad thai, pad see ew, green curry, etc. They have a few special dishes on the menu but none have been spectacular.

Good Thai, quick service. Thought the place is fairly small, they really have some tasty food coming out of the kitchen. Now I doubt I will ever come here again because I got turned off when paying the bill. Most of the party paid with card, which was done table side with the mini machine and when I decided to pay with cash, the waitress then made sure to inquire if and how we would give the tip. She didn't even give us a chance to finish paying before she asked this. It was extremely rude to assume that because we mainly paid with card that we would ditch the tip. I don't know if they have PTSD from incidents before, or a racial bias but one thing I am not is a cheap when it comes to tipping for the service.

Tasty food and comes out very quickly . We had the lunch specials I had the spring rolls and shrimp pad Thai . I would have to say I didn't like the spring rolls with the Mayo on it it was different and it wasn't hot . The pad Thai was really really good I enjoyed every bit and it's so cost efficient. The server was sweet and it's a nice place chill and cozy .

Arrived early right when it opened for the day for an early dinner and the place filled up quickly. I can see why, the food is amazing. Roti masaman to start, highly recommend. Khao soy chicken pretty good, normal vegan options. Well labeled vegan options on menu. Ambiance a little millennial but that's OK.

Great Thai restaurant! Came here with my wife and friend, so I was fortunate to try a handful of items. We started with the Roti Massaman, the Mussels Paradise, and the Larb Tuna Tartare. All were good, but the talk of the table was the Mussels Paradise. The pot was full of large mussels. There were about twenty mussels which actually made this $17 dish a bargain. The broth was flavorful, and we ordered some extra rice for it. For the main course, we shared the Pad See-Ew with tofu and the Giant River Prawns Green Curry. The Pad See-Ew was solid but not too different from most pad dishes. The Giant River Prawns were the highlight of my meal. Not sure if these were giant prawns, lobsters, or another crustation lost in translation. Whatever it was, it was delicious! Nicely plated so you can pull out the tail and chomp up the body in a few easy bites without messing around with the prawn too much. Served in a rich and creamy curry. We were sure to finish up every bit of sauce with rice. Service was quick and attentive. They had a few beers and wines plus some interesting Thai inspired cocktails. There was one gender neutral restroom which was fairly spacious.

Stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening. The space is somewhat small for the foot traffic they get, decorated with a ton of floral and other IG worthy decor. We had a reservation and was informed upon arrival that we'd only have 90 minutes to dine, although we definitely stayed longer than that. My gf ordered the Massaman Curry w Crispy Half Duck ($30), which overall was good. The duck meat was on the dry side, but it was fine when you drench it in the curry. I got the Salmon Stone Pot ($25), which was interestingly served in a super hot stone pot, which remained hot for a good 15+ minutes. Consisted of a seared salmon, Tom Yum Fried Rice, and an egg. Was not very sure of the proper way to eat this, but I ended up breaking the salmon into pieces and mixed it with the fried rice and egg. Slight spicy kick to it and overall was delicious.

After reading many of the rave reviews, I decided to try the Massaman curry (takeout). This review is purely about the food. Massaman curry - Delicious sauce with authentic flavors (I've had this dish in Thailand many times) but fell short of expectations. The chicken was sparse and the ingredients appeared hastily mixed together. There was a small piece of plastic included with the sauce. Last time I checked, that wasn't part of the recipe... Coconut sticky rice - Very good. Definitely better than the store bought brand (Costco sells). Not much more I can say. Wish there were because I really wanted to experience the amazing food everyone else had.

Went to Bangkok degree for the first time on a late night, they kept their kitchen open for us a few minutes so we are very grateful for that. We ordered the BD drunken noodles and the crispy pork stone meal. Both were absolutely amazing. The ambience was very nice and active enough for an evening. The BD drunken noodles specifically was amazing and uses a different type of noodles than usual drunken noodles and it is honestly so good. I'll definitely be back as this was a great dinner

It has been a busy few months, as you can see. We went to this restaurant back in May. It's almost August...very very busy. We don't even live in Brooklyn anymore that's how far behind I am in these reviews. That being said, this place was right by our old apartment in Brooklyn. We have another couple hanging out with us that night so we went here. It's a popular place so it's always crowded and the wait staff is staffed. The decor is beautiful, very floral and green. It's not a large restaurant. It fits maybe around 50 people. The food was amazing. We started with dumplings and roti, both amazing. It's been a few months since I ate there but I can tell you that the food did not disappoint. I got the Khao Soy Chicken - best decision ever. It was not too rice, but it wasn't super spicy either. They give a large chicken drumstick and if you eat it with the roti, it's really perfection. Lots of flavor and I think it's a traditional dish. The couple got a pad thai with shrimp and a pineapple fried rice - which were also very good. My husband, A, got pad see ew because he doesn't like spicy or to try new things. If you're in the Park Slope of Brooklyn, you have to try this place. I promise you it will be worth it.

Bangkok Degree in Park Slope is a Thai restaurant serving well-executed classics in a vibey, compact setting. We started off dinner with thai iced tea, chicken and shrimp dumpling, and massaman roti. For entrees we had the shrimp pad thai, pad see-eiw and panang curry. Bangkok is the perfect place to get comforting thai dishes at an affordable price point

I liked my first time delivery from Bangkok Degree. They're located in Park Slope but the delivery time took a bit longer than usual. Look, I get it since it was a Friday night. The order was simple: *Chicken and Shrimp dumplings ($9) *Spicy Eggplant with Chicken ($16) *Shrimp with Ginger ($18l. The dumplings were 4 pieces to a portion and pretty good. The taste was a bit bland but overall satisfactory. We shared both mains. I noticed the Shrimp dish to be an underwhelming portion. The flavors were good and although it was prepared with a brown sauce, I didn't find it oily or salty. I liked the Eggplant dish although there was hardly any Eggplant which was unusual since it's a cheaper ingredient. The flavors were good and included a fair amount of chicken. I liked Bangkok Degree enough to the point of being satisfied. I wouldn't say I was wowed. However, I would try them again in the future.

I had high expectations of this place as I heard it was the best Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. And as you can see from my 5 star review, the rumors are quite true. The crispy duck with massaman curry was a 10/10. The duck was deliciously tender and juicy with a nice crunchy, crispy skin on the outside layer. The curry was also so good since it was a mix of potato, onion, peanut, and coconut milk. You can taste a bit of the coconut come through in the aftertaste. Unfortunately the lychee iced tea was terrible - it had the weirdest taste ever. Just avoid this and you're golden.

Delicious Panang curry and thai iced tea! I also got coconut sticky rice which is perfect. My friends enjoyed their cocktails and butterfly pea lemonade. The server was attentive. The spot feels slightly crowded because it's so narrow, but I really liked the cute bar area they have in the back, it adds nicely to the atmosphere. Worth checking out if you're in park slope area.

HORRIBLE!!! The pad Thai was just missy tasteless noodles; edamame was soggy and old. AND EVERY time I ordered for pick up on line, there was an error!!!! And when I called them to tell them , the staff member yelled at ME...insisting that it was my error. So unpleasant dealing with them. But more confusing is why people's food standards are so low...and mind you, my food standards are not high!!

I'd highly recommend getting a reservation should you wish to dine here, especially on the weekends. We were lucky to be there early, but by the time we were done almost the entire dining area was full! As for the food, we ordered two entrees. One we liked a lot, while the other disappointed. The spicy basil fried rice is normally a safe bet when it comes to Thai dishes, and sure enough we really liked ours. However, the beef jungle curry which sounded like a great idea, disappointed. The curry was more watery than we'd hoped, and had a strong gingery taste. The menu does appear to have other really interesting dishes, though, so I would recommending opting for something other than the beef jungle curry.

Friend and I stopped in for dinner. No wait and almost every table was taken. It look some time before our server came by to take our order and it took awhile for the food to come out. Appetizer: golden tofu (1/5) The tofu wasn't seasoned so it was just tofu and sauce. I expected it to have some sort of seasoning on it or some sort of pizaz. At least fry it with a coating so it has a nice texture. It came out really hot and really crispy (super different texture from the inside) so it was a little difficult to eat at first for those reasons. After it cooled down it was difficult to eat because it was so disappointing. Entree: drunken noodles (5/5) Ok this was good. Not much to add. Didnt finish it though, packed up the rest to go. Was still good later. Entree: crispy pork rice (5/5) Friend ordered this and said it was good. She finished her whole plate and was quiet while eating. Even though the appetizer was disappointing, everything else was good. Service was a little slow but understandable- they had a full house. The decor was beautiful. They're one of those places that plays pop songs that have been covered in one specific genre. I couldn't pinpoint the genre but the owners put some effort into setting up the vibe of the dining experience. It felt pretty calm. I didnt feel rushed. Wanted to note that their drinks looked fun and some other tables had ordered drinks. Next time I'm in the area i may come back for dinner and also try their drinks!

10/10 food and atmosphere/vibes. The presentation is AMAZING too like too pretty to eat. Food was amazing, portion size was good. I also ordered a cocktail and it was BOMB. But place was a little too small even with reservation we were just standing in the cold for 15 mins. The service was ok besides one waitress who was super nice. Would def go again for the food!

Bangkok degree become one of my fav Thai restaurant in Brooklyn. All the food was amazing Must order BD drunken noodle, BD tea leave salad, prime rib Massaman curry. And make sure you save some room for dessert. Thai tea crepe cake and ice cream was so good! I can come again just for this!

The next thing I know, he sends me a message telling me how good this place is and that we should come and meet him for dinner. With his stamp of approval, I didn't need to be asked twice so my husband and I hopped the B train to Brooklyn for a delicious Thai dinner. We commenced with some Thai Iced Tea that was amazing. We let him order since he's an expert so we had a variety of dishes that we shared: Homemade Spring Rolls, Tea Leaves Salad, Larb Pork and Green Curry. The spring rolls were the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed the salad a lot. It was so refreshing. The Larb Pork was great, we ordered medium spice and it was pretty spicy but really good. They said they could make it a lot spicier! The Green Curry was great too. Service was great from start to finish and it was great to catch up to an old friend. If you want Thai food in Park Slope, this should definitely be on your list.

The pad Thai has nothing in it but very greasy noodles and a bit of egg and old bean sprouts. No peanuts and no veggies. Really disappointing.
