Nice bakery in an area along E Colfax with a number of interesting murals on the buildings. The pastries are very good especially the ham & cheese croissant and the raspberry danish. Some of the pastries are quite artistic. In addition, they have good bahn mi sandwiches. The coffee is okay. Service was fast, friendly and informative. The space itself has nice seating and art on the walls for sale some of which was interesting. There is a parking lot behind the store with an entrance off the lot.

Woahhhh! If you want your life to be changed by a breakfast sandwich, go here! We got the egg & cheese croissant, and it was unreal! It’s an everything croissant with two fried eggs that are fried perfectly. Delicious cheese and a garlic aioli. Highly recommend this sandwich! It’s so savory and amazing! My husband got the strawberry cruffin, and it was so delicious too! The filling is light and vanilla - ish with some spices (probably cinnamon?). Really delicious croissant. Would like to try their coffees, other treats, and banh mi sandwiches next time but we are already impressed!

Google
I was on the search of a strawberry crepe cake for my daughter's birthday. I emailed about 10 bakeries in total and Thoa was the only one that got back to me. She special made me a beautiful strawberry matcha crepe cake (think I went a bit big on size) and had it ready in the time frame I requested. It was beautiful. Tasted awesome (we cannot stand overly sweet cakes which is why crepe cakes are AWESOME). I picked it up and I swear it had to weigh 20 pounds. And pricing for a special request was far less than I had anticipated. What made it better? I found out Thoa was on Season 10 of FoodNetwork's Holiday Baking Championship! I had no idea! I now feel like I was emailing with a celebrity. PS - I do not bake, me and flour do not get along so I tend to not watch the baking shows on FoodNetwork. But I am watching Season 10 now! Thank you, Thoa!

We ordered the chicken banh mi omg so so good the carrots and jicama are the crunch the sandwich needs. The croissant is a tad bit salty for my taste because it's an everything croissant WITH garlic aoli and the cheddar cheese.

Google
This place is great! Full of delicious bread and so many unique flavors. We got the apple tart and the blackberry Ube cake along with a few lattes. The apple tart was good decent flavor would have probably been even better if it was warmed up for us, but the star was the Ube cake! The blackberries, Ube cake, and cream frosting worked so well together every bite was perfect and well balanced. I also really enjoyed all the local art the was for sale and the plants they had on display (also for sale but needed some TLC). The negative i had was the gal that helped us was a bit snobby and not very welcoming. We showed up a little more than an hour before closing and we were the only customers in the shop. She tried discouraged us from ordering lattes and said they would be over 10 minutes for her to prepare them. This was odd to me since we were the only two customers in the shop. She also seemed very annoyed to answer my questions about the different baked goods and art, in her defense i did have a few more than i usually would since it was my first time. Also every single table was dirty not sure if she just had a rush, but i couldn’t see any reason for her to be so busy while i was there. I was a little confused why she didn’t ask the others in the back for help if she needed it. We weren’t in a hurry so we waited. I really wanted some coffee to go with my pastries. I looked past the crappy service since i enjoyed the baked good so much, hopefully this isn’t a regular way they do service here.

Bomb, really good crusty chewy bread. Can’t really beat that Cupcakes were awesome too. Fun flavors and nice and moist. With a lighter frosting

Google
The cutest and most amazing little banh mi sandwich Shop !!! They support local businesses too! You can buy plants and art from local people! Their sandwiches are packed with flavor! The owner comes from Vietnamese FOOD ROYALTY because she is (one of) the daughters of the original Saigon Denver restaurant! Even better, her sister owns the restaurant next door, so it's the absolute best of both worlds! I can't wait to come back here! The pastries are absolutely DELICIOUS too!

Google
This place absolutely bangs. Their roast pork sandwich is exemplary and is definitely one of my favorite sandwiches in Denver. I recently had one of their croissant salmon breakfast sandwiches as a treat to myself on my birthday and adored it. I haven't had ALL of their pastries, but every one I've had is a banger. Banh and Butter does NOT miss. Ham, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwich - $11.50 pre tax/tip - Croissant is perfect, love that it is everything seasoned. We arrived about 10 minutes after we were notified that the food was ready, so the croissant had definitely steamed, but I actually think this was an advantage to the sandwich. - Fried egg/ham/cheese all very nice and egg has some character to it - Standout for me was the aioli which I thought did a great job filling in any flavor gaps - No sausage or bacon options (I think) which is fine but I would def prefer sausage or bacon to ham - Overall: 8.5/10, would have been even better if I had taken home and applied hot sauce to it s/o kimmy for the rec

Yelp
Super tasty treats, food was out quickly, very nice front of house! I recommend the Ube cold foam latte and cream puff

Yelp
The store is located by the busy street but you're able to park at the back of the store where they have another entrance for convenience. There's lots of art pieces hung up throughout the store for sale which is super nice to look at. There's also plants for sale at the front as well. They have a nice assortment pastries and baked goods. Their menu is located at the front of the store right above their sale items. We got the below items: Strawberry croissant ($3) - tasted crispy and the strawberries were fresh. The cream wasn't overwhelmingly sweet Mixed berry tart ($6.50) - the bottom layer is like a texture that's a bit stiffer than cake, then there's the cream layer, and then the fruits. Honestly doesn't have anything special to it and doesn't taste amazing. I wouldn't get it again Ube foam cold brew ($6.25) - pretty good. Tastes like normal cold brew with a hint of ube Ube foam latte ($6.25) - it wasn't hot when I received it, maybe a bit hotter than room temp. It tastes like sweet milk with ube flavoring. Definitely do not recommend Egg and ham croissant ($11.50) - 10/10 for me. The seasoning they used for the egg tastes really good. It's nicely buttered as well. Croissants were super fresh and crispy. Would definitely recommend getting if you're wanting food items. Probably wouldn't come back here again unless I'm craving for a killer breakfast croissant which I'm not often craving. Their seating arrangement isn't too comfortable either but it seems like a nice place to meet up with friends.

Yelp
I love that this business exists, and the various options of ube they have in their treats and drinks, as a ube enthusiast! Compared to previous visits, I was a little underwhelmed this time. The flavoring of my matcha didn't really suit my taste, although I'm not really sure why. I also would have loved to see a matcha and ube blend on the drinks menu! The ube cream on my cupcake, on the other hand, was delicious, creamy, and flavored well. It melted in my mouth! I wish the cupcake piece was a little more moist and less dry. The service was pretty fast, and not a super notable piece of my experience. I will say, two thumbs up to the artwork they have in store. Really beautiful pieces and a wide feature of artists. The prices on them seemed very reasonable too. I spent quite a while admiring everything on the wall!

Yelp
Came with friends to try out their cakes! We got the ube, lychee, and matcha. We all loved the matcha lavender flavor the most. Each cake is quite big we definitely had leftovers for the next day too

Yelp
I really loved this place when I first tried it but it has been so inconsistent I keep getting disappointed. I wanted the small bun sandwich and they said they were out of bread. Every time I go, they seem to be out of something on the menu. When I got the pork belly the second time, the whole thing was just pork fat, the pieces of pork did not have any meat on them. The cashiers are nice and friendly and the place is clean, but I really wish the food can be more consistent.

Yelp
Just finished an amazing lunch next door and wanted a banh mi sandwich for the plane ride home. Bahn & Butter Bakery Cafe was strongly suggested by the staff at Dan da and they were not wrong. The baked good here are works of art. If you are an eater with your eyes, this spot is your happy place. The sandwiches, bowls, croissants, and pastries look incredible. Banh Butter Bakery Cafe was full of patrons eating pastries, drinking coffee and deep in quiet conversations. A very relaxing environment. We had no room for desserts since we just finished lunch, but we did not want an airport meal when this place looked fabulous. We ordered 2 of the lemongrass grilled pork banh mi sandwiches to go. The sandwiches were packed with many tasty ingredients that made us smile. The meat was flavorful and not tough, pickled veggies were crisp and had a good taste while the baguettes were slightly crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. A solid construction of a banh mi sandwich. I don't have the patience to bake goods, but Banh & Butter Bakery Cafe has dialed it in and nailed it. A tip of the hat to the owner and staff of this Denver jewel. Several people on the plane wanted to know were we got the great looking sandwiches.

Yelp
Excellent family run bakery worth a visit. Just about every pastry item comes filled with butter cream so if you like that sort of pastry, this place is for you. Very good, freshly prepared ham, egg and cheese breakfast croissant sandwiches. Order from the counter and they let you know when your order has been prepared. Hot freshly brewed coffee. Lots of seating on metal tables. Local artists can exhibit and sell their stuff on the inside walls. Parking in back -- Be situationally aware--lots of homeless people camped out.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute and simple cafe. Everything is served in takeout containers and there are about 5 tables inside. Lots of parking in the back of the cafe. The cold cut banh mi was disappointing as it was overpowered by soy sauce and black pepper. The bread was not your traditional light and airy french baguette, and instead was tough and chewy. I loved the Saigon Ca Phe cake, which was light and fluffy.

Yelp
The hype is real- Banh and Butter is AMAZING!!!! There's a good reason Thoa, their owner and head baker- is on Food Network. Her background in French pastries shines with the delicate crepe cakes, amazing croissants. I've also had their banh mi sandwiches. Don't sleep on the vegan pate! I can't wait to come back and try their drinks!

Yelp
We ventured out for the second time as the first time was a snow day and they were closing early and had limited options. Going in on a Saturday around 11:30 - seems like a lot was also already bought. We were looking for matcha pastries we've seen online on IG or on Yelp and did not see them either visit so we were bummed. My fiancé got the almond croissant and at first was shocked by the price but while he was eating it - he said he loved the filling inside and it was definitely worth the price! We both got lattes with almond milk. I had ordered mine with coconut milk but the girl advised against it and said it tasted rancid which I thought it was an interesting comment since that is my drink order at Starbucks. I got a Vietnamese cold cut banh mi to go. It was pretty good! I did it with the pate and the garlic aioli and put soy sauce on it when I got home (I'm pretty basic with my sandwiches). Love the options here - lots of fun choices. I'll be back to try other things!

Yelp
I had a ube pastry and cold brew ube foam. Desert was sweet and rich and glad to share it. My drink was nice. Service was helpful & patient for a first timer. I enjoyed the art work through out.

Yelp
Great pastries and drinks in a fun, bright atmosphere. Fantastic pastries as well as breakfast sandwiches. The bahn mi was also very flavorful and full of meat. I found the Vietnamese iced coffee to be quite strong but really enjoyed the ube cold foam drink. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Yelp
We drove up north to try this place. The bakery offers ample parking at the back, which is very convenient. The space is cute, clean, and has a welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful. We sampled a variety of treats, including cakes, cruffin, and the strawberry croissants. Everything was delicious and not overly sweet with the strawberry croissant being the standout for me. It's a little pricey for the portion size, but definitely worth it as a treat. Maybe next time, we'll try their sandwiches! Since it's a bit far for us, we won't be able to visit often, but it's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Yelp
Heavenly breakfast sandwich (I could eat the garlic aioli by the spoonful) and sweet cruffin. Service was friendly and helpful, space is bright and full of local art. A must-try!!
google avatar

Daisy D.

Yelp
Every pastry that I have gotten here has been utter perfection! I think about their blackberry danish all the time. Appreciate that they have local art for sale on their walls. This area is always super busy and it can sometimes be difficult to find parking. Always has a very clean interior and a few seats to hangout at.

Yelp
After eating at Dan Da, came here to check out the place. I didn't buy anything and hope to next time when I come through. Their case seems to be half stocked and not sure if people bought all the goods or what. But what was displayed looked good. The place is cute and clean. All their tables were full. The looks of it, seems like people like this place.

Yelp
There isn't anything here I've tried that I didn't love! Truly, everything is so delicious and beautiful! The owner is just a sweetest, I always feel welcome when I walk through the door! Not to mention, it's such a cute little café!

Yelp
Lived up to the Food Network hype! Came in on a Thursday afternoon and saw a steady stream of folks still coming in. Super friendly register barista let us know what she liked when we asked and nothing we got disappointed! 1. Croissant breakfast sando had some of the most addictive garlic aioli (you can buy a good size jar for $6!) and was so flaky and fresh 2. Viet iced was as one should be: strong & sweet w/ deep flavor 3. Grilled chicken bahn mi was packed with ground chicken and veggies, seasoned to perfection Saved the cruffin & sadly haven't eaten yet to review! Had some long tables and great artwork up where we were able to stay and play cards (could improve the cheesy cover music tho) Pricey but you can tell the owner puts that into the food quality!

Yelp
Amazing little cafe featuring Vietnamese and French food in Aurora. I saw their shop on Instagram and just knew I had to check it out. I tried three different items: - lemongrass grilled pork bahn mi: the pork was so so crispy! The bread was fresh! Strawberry almond tart: so good! Not overly sweet which was amazing to me. The fruit was also fresh Vietnamese coffee (iced): actually my least favorite of the items I tried. I had a couple of sips only. Possibly just too strong for me The employees there were super nice and welcoming! Everyone seemed to be having fun while working The coffee shop was decorated with art all over the walls which was nice to see
google avatar

Mati D.

Yelp
Mm! Wow, what a treat. We got quite the haul -- the egg croissant, creme brûlée cruffin, raspberry turnover, matcha, and an iced Vietnamese coffee. I don't have a single bad thing to say! The egg croissant was positively delicious. I've ate one too many everything bagels in my time, but this was something different in the best way. The raspberry turnover filling should be sold by the bucket! We're waiting on trying the cruffin, but i have to say this is worth the stop. It was really busy at 12 on a Sunday, we were lucky to grab a table, but the service was quick and vibes were great!
google avatar

Yelp
I am hating that I have to give this place a 3 star, but let me tell you why. So my favorite thing from here is the almond croissant so definitely come here to try it out. Other desserts that I've tried here were the ube cream puff and ube crepe cake slice, where both were good. The downfall for me was their matcha latte. It was so watered down that I was really disappointed in it. I even had my friends taste my drink too to see if it was me, but they all agreed. It might have been the person making it, but I'm a bit sad that this is my experience as a first timer here from out of state. There is plenty of free parking in the back of the building. The interior is nice with a few tables available to sit and hang out with your friends. But other than that, it's pretty much a grab and go spot. I will have to try this place again in the future and hope that the matcha tastes more like a matcha latte than a watered matcha.

Yelp
I desperately needed a coffee and a sandwich after a long run, and decided to go to Banh & Butter after reading so many great reviews. I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee & a lemongrass grilled pork banh mi (sadly they were out of my favorite cold cut banh mi) and received my order pretty quickly! I was probably in and out of there within 10 mins. The Vietnamese coffee was great, theirs is not too sweet which is perfect to my taste. However I found the banh mi to be so disappointing - the bread, the most crucial part of the sandwich, is extremely dense and chewy like a bagel. This combined with the dryness of the fillings made this sandwich so difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the carrots/radishes were cut so thick and there were probably only 2 small pieces of cilantro in my whole sandwich. The lemongrass flavor of the pork didn't come out at all. I didn't try any of the pastries though I see a lot of good reviews for them. When I went all their pastries looked flat and dense, though their cakes and muffins looked pretty good!
google avatar

Taylor T.

Yelp
One of the best Ube lattes and desserts I've ever had! The Asian-French fusion makes everything so much better. They had a variety of pastries and desserts to choose from, as well as savory items! It's a cozy little place off of colfax and they also have plants for sale inside. I was craving Ube this visit but next time around I'm hoping to try the pandan!
google avatar

Yelp
I had heard amazing thing about this place and love supporting small family-run businesses and this place did not disappoint. I was ready for lunch and ordered the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. I was blown away! The chicken was so flavorful and fresh. The best part was that the chicken was shredded unlike other places which often have large pieces of meat that fall out with each bite. The best part was the toasted bread. Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. This was topped with the most flavorful pickled vegetables. The carrots were not shredded but rather julienned so you actually had a hearty bite and could taste the carrot. This is my new go-to Banh Mi place and the price is very reasonable for this quality. A word of advice - eat the sandwich there as it does not travel great.
google avatar

Hannah H.

Yelp
Stopped in here to grab a quick bite after drinks across the street while on vacation. The service was fast even for a busy lunch hour. There was a lot of art work to check out and an amazing pastry case. We had the roasted chicken banh mi a black tea with Ube, the Ube cupcake and a strawberry one. The cupcake is best eaten kind of smashed up so you can get the frosting in with the dense cake.

Yelp
This has been on my list to try for a while now. Really ever since it opened. They took over the third culture mochi donut space and I'm so glad to see an awesome restaurant in one I also used to love. Service is fast and friendly. They are hustling. For my first time here I opted for the vegan mushroom pate bahn mi. It was so good - the pate was full of mushroom goodness flavor. It reminded me of one I ate in Vietnam. The baguette was also perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I came with a work colleague and we basically inhaled these on our way back to work. Makes for a messy car but man is it worth it!

Yelp
I visited this cute little Vietnamese French Patisserie shop on my last day in Colorado, tucked away a little outside the city in Aurora, CO. I was blown away with their tasty Pandan Coconut Cupcake that was just PERFECTION. At first I was afraid that it would be too sweet, but to my surprise it was lightly sweetened, fluffy with the right amount of bounce, and very moist. The pandan flavor was just heaven, not overbearing and I was very happy that the coconut was not overpowering the pandan (as I'm not a big fan of heavy coconut flavors). This was my favorite of all the items I've tried and the BEST pandan flavored dessert I've ever had. So, if you're in the mood for a little treat and some strong coffee, check this place out! I bought the strawberry cruffin, which I'm guessing was a cross between a croissant and muffin, filled with what seems to be a custard cream bc it wasn't too thick like a custard but not as airy as a cream. The way the bread layered was croissant like but it was shaped like a muffin, was just mmhmmm. Again, sweetness level was perfect and the cream to pastry ratio was just so perfect. Note, this cruffin went through a beating of passing airport security and made its way to California before it was devoured, but somehow kept its shape and flavor. This was my second favorite only bc I really love the Pandan cupcake. Definitely, would recommend this. Lastly, I got the Iced Vietnamese Egg Coffee which again was not very sweet. Actually, I would recommend adding a bit more condensed milk or a tad bit more sweetness to the foam. Definitely that strong Vietnamese caffeine if you're looking for jitters. It was slightly salty, which took me by surprise bc I was kinda of expecting a traditional Vietnamese eggnog (Soda Sua Hot Ga), but it wasn't bad. Once the ice melted a little, it balanced out the density pretty well. However, would have liked a little more sweetness to it. Still, I would recommend this for those who love a more salty, bitter coffee with a slight sweet and creamy flavoring. I'm so heartbroken that I did not grab more Pandan Coconut Cupcake to go to share with my family back home. I really hope they consider opening a shop in Little Saigon, California but until then I guess I will need to visit Colorado again soon!

Yelp
First time I came here, it was great! I got cruffins and some other pastries. Everything was so yummy. I've gotten my friends banh mi from here as well, which they have also thoroughly enjoyed. Only complaint I have is that I ordered an ube latte and it just didn't have enough ube. Even though a latte is a good amount of milk, it felt like I was drinking a glass of milk with some drops of ube flavoring. Staying away from the drinks and sticking to the pastries and food here, instead. The cafe is always clean and the service is kind. I've always been early in the morning when it isn't busy, but they also don't have everything out when they first open. Probably best to go a couple hours into opening so you can see everything they have! Crave this place and wish I lived closer.

Yelp
Big fan of this place with their unique baked goods and super solid Banh Mi, which aren't as good as Banh Mi Station, but they're still really good. It's bright and lively inside, even with limited seating, and the service is super friendly in the former home of Third Culture Bakery, which decided Colorado wasn't for them. If you're looking for some unique desserts to bring to a party or just a great Banh Mi when you're on this side of town, this is a great option.

Yelp
Great experience and amazing staff that was spot on with suggestions. I can't wait to return and try more. Thanks

Yelp
Well deserving award winning bakery. Had lunch and of course, some pastries. It's a small but busy cafe. Be sure to order at the counter. Lemongrass Pork Bánh Mi was full of flavor. The side of curry potato salad was a fun add-on. The most amazing pastry is their cruffin. It's a croissant muffin filled with sweet cream (I had the Vanilla Créme Brûlée). Thank goodness this place is a little out of the way for me or I would be eating this lovely pastry all the time!

Yelp
I had been wanting to try out this cafe for a really long time and honestly I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. To start the customer service was amazing. I came in 30 minutes before closing and they were super nice and even offered the tip not to get the ube foam that it would turn my matcha brown, and not a pretty purple and green layered drink I was imagining in my head which I really appreciated. My food and my other iced coffee came out pretty fast. Now to get into the actual flavor of everything I ordered. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was good a little bit more on the bitter side than I usually like (I like a little bitter but this was just a step over my personal preference but still yummy). I didn't feel the need to doctor this one up. I made the mistake of not asking if the Iced Matcha Latte is pre-sweetened which it isn't. The espresso didn't help either. I got caramel added but when it's not pre-sweetened I usually add agave or an additional syrup and caramel if they have it. Totally not their fault they made it as I asked. The Lemongrass Pork Bahn Mi I was excited for, I expected better. It had a lot of sweet tanginess going on. I would have loved the pork to bring more saltiness and the pickled vegetables to bring more brininess to the sandwich, it was very monotone in my opinion. Although I will say the vegetables did have a bit of a spice kick I enjoyed that I wish carried on a bit more, and I wish there was more cilantro because that's what carries a Bahn mi into the ether. The chocolate cupcake was such a disappointment. The cake was moist and I'm sure would've been light and fluffy had it not been in the cooler display. However, my biggest pet peeve when it comes to cupcakes is whipped frosting. The drinks honestly weren't bad just need to make some tweaks on how I ordered my matcha latte. I can see someone really loving this spot, I just don't think it was for me.
google avatar

Tina V.

Yelp
The staff is nice, I've never felt rushed. I got a Banh Mi some pastries and a coffee. They market that they have the cold cut banh mi but after visiting a couple times they only have it occasionally. I think that if they do not have it, there should be some signage posted or a way to inform people. I ended up getting the lemon grass pork banh mi which was alright. For the price I will say I'm disappointed as there wasn't much filling and the bread was either stale or completely over toasted. As for the pastries they are more cream/frosting. But it isn't too sweet. I feel like the food network hyped this place up and for me it fell pretty flat. There's parking located in the back of the building. The cafe itself is cute they have local art hung up and you can buy plants!
google avatar

Yelp
I finally got to try the food here and it's definitely catered to a specific audience. If you regularly go to bánh mì shops, you'll understand what I mean. While I was looking at the menu, it was really hard to decide what I wanted to eat. The banh mi options sound delicious but I could not pay $12 for it. I went with the croissant since that's different and the croissant was very flaky. It was buttery and eggs are always a good choice. The desserts were just okay. We were looking for another NYMM cupcake replacement but the Ube cupcake was just okay. Desserts are very pretty.

Yelp
Awesome Vietnamese/French pastries here and Vietnamese coffee! The kitchen here is huge, and they are ready for you. Get here early in the morning for the best pastry selections. Service is very warm and friendly. Ambiance is a bit sterile with just a few tables and limited counter seating. Most get their order to go.

Yelp
Such a cute cafe! A bit small on the inside however the baked goods are exactly that, good. Great actually. Service was okay.

Super impressed with this place. I tried their iced ube foam cold brew which wasn't too sweet, and the ube flavor of the foam was spot-on. I was also so impressed with the coconut pandan cream puff as it had so much flavor and so much cream! I wasn't particularly "wow'd" by the side dishes (potato salad, street corn) that I had ordered, as they were just alright. This is, of course, in comparison to spectacular sweets and drinks. I would, however, love to come back here for more pastries, coffee, and to try their banh mi.

Yelp
Stopped in for a coffee and some breakfast with the family. It was a bit out of the way, but worth the drive. Everything I had was fresh and service was top notch. It is a bit pricy compared to some places, however the food was good enough to make up for it. Croissant Sandwiches Ham and Egg: Very nicely out together, all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. However the "everything Seasoned Croissant", is what really set it off. Soo good. Croissant Sandwiches Smoked Salmon: I did not try this, but my wife liked it. Grilled pork Banh Mi: Got this for the kids, its pricy at $12. It was good, but probably my least favorite item from the meal. I would just go with another Sandwich over the Banh Mi Iced Viet Coffee: Very good. Had the right balance of cream, sweat, and chicory. Strawberry Cruffin: Very good, cream filled sweat. The pastry was flaky and cooked nicely, while the sweet cream was such a good complement. They also had a whole strawberry stuffed inside. Just a great Dessert. Vanilla Brulee Cruffin: Almost as good as the Strawberry Cruffin. You can go wrong with this one. Pain Au Chocolat: It was fine. These are more traditional and not loaded with chocolate, so if you are looking for something just a little sweet try these out. The part of town the restaurant is in seems a bit scetchy with a good amount of people on the street, however its worth a stop if you are looking for some top notch French/viet breakfast items. Would recommend and return.

Yelp
Picked up dessert for a dinner party and everyone was very impressed. Went for the sweets and on a whim order the kimchi collard greens... I haven't stopped thinking about them since.

Yelp
Fantastic Bánh mi starts with crispy yet soft and tender bread. Toppings fresh with great balance. Service and recommendation was spot on. Cute atmosphere and a great place for a breakfast or lunch date. Will be back!

Yelp
We come here at least once a month and the pastries are always great, however for the price and quality they really should be offering a plate instead of a large plastic clamshell and an actual coffee cup instead of a disposable cup. I would like to feel welcome to sit and eat instead of be encourage to take my stuff to go. Their garbage basin doesn't even accommodate the clear plastic clamshell containers since it is a round hole. It really dumbs down the experience and enjoyment of the product to eat out of plastic containers. We will only be coming back if we get something to go, not to sit and enjoy the food and drink.

Yelp
The server was friendly and luckily told me she had a menu up front. I was just drooling and afraid of forgetting what I wanted to order. Everything looked delish! The prices are average for a high end bakery and we ordered our share. Took our items to go as we had just eaten lunch. Smelled so good. Went with the ube bird's nest, mixed berries tart, strawberry tart and a tres leches cake. And literally everything was so amazing. I'm so happy for Chef Thoa who is competing on the Food Network Holiday Baking Championship. I wish her well and hope you all check out this bakery as it is worth it. Parking available back of location.

Yelp
I had heard such great things about Banh & Butter and was pretty disappointed on my first trip there. There is a posted menu, and it seemed like everything I asked about listed on the menu was unavailable. That's really why I'm rating this lower than I would have. Although they didn't have many menu items, there were plenty of pastries and desserts. I got a cruffin and it was quite delicious. I also tried an iced ube coffee drink, which was good. I'm hoping that the next trip I take there has more to offer than my first trip.

Yelp
My only gripe here is that their pastry chef I guess had a baby and so they had no crepe cake for me to try out or flan for the iced Vietnamese coffee with flan. However what we did get was very delicious. We got an Ube cupcake, strawberry croissant, ham egg and cheese croissant, a Vietnamese cold cut bahn mi on croissant, an iced chai with caramel syrup, an iced Vietnamese coffee with egg foam and cappuccino with hazelnut. We throughly enjoyed all of it! The cupcake was not dry as so many are, the sandwiches were so good, so messy but so good, I'm glad we got the bahn mi on the croissant instead of the baguette because croissants are just better. I really enjoyed the garlic aioli that is on the sandwiches. I will have to be back someday when I can try the crepe cake and a few other things.

Yelp
I was driving by and happened to be craving a bahn mi and stumbled upon this place. The inside decor was super cute with art for sale from local artists. The menu has a wide variety of cafe options and bahn mi/rice bowls. The chicken bahn mix was delicious and super moist! I wasn't expecting to eat the whole thing but couldn't stop myself. My husband got the pork bahn mi and raved about it as well! Lots of dessert options too! Service was friendly and quick! Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Make a stop here at this cute cafe if you're craving any snacks. The pandan and ube cupcakes were an absolute delight and highly recommend getting. Moist, not too sweet, and perfect to bite into.

Yelp
Love the concept and I love anything and everything ube and pandan so I definitely had to check this place out. The place itself is tucked away but all the good places usually are! Definitely come early if you wanna grab some goodies since their more popular items tend to run out fast! We had that issue when trying to order some things, although we still were able to try a nice variety! W e ordered some desserts and some savory items and even tried their iced ube latte. The Ube latte had great ube flavor without being overly sweet and their banh mi was nice and flakey. My favorite things were the pickled veggies in the banh mi. I do wish the side of potato salad had a bit more flavor, I probably wouldn't order that again but everything else we tried wasn't bad at all! Can't wait to come back and try more things and come early so they aren't sold out!
