This is a Vietnamese sandwich, pho and Chinese food outlet with a good selection of teas and boba drinks. Banh mi sandwich was good except their baguette were not as crispy and fluffy as others. Yangzhou fried rice was very good. I think you get a good choice of Vietnamese dishes and Asian drinks at a decent affordable prices and good portions. Parking is plenty in the rear of the shop. They offer order 2 get 1 free deal for Banh mi.

Great spot for breakfast – they are open earlier then the nearby bahn mi places! Got the combo and 5 eggrolls the egg rolls were very good and so was the bahn mi except the day I visited they didn’t add cilantro. Or is this typical of this place? Nonetheless, I am a fan of cilantro so I was a bit bummed my sando didn’t come with it. The service was fast and friendly ambiance that of an asian café and it was very clean inside for being open at 7am they have a ton of workers! Smell of fresh baguettes when you walk in! I should’ve read the sign bogo on milk tea! Will come back for that next time

I was craving banh mi and decided to drop by. They had the buy 2 get 1 free deal on the banh mi so I ended up getting 3. Each one costs $7. I also got the wonton noodle soup for $6.50 and the combo house special pho for $12.50. Bun rieu was delish for $9. They had a 15% off promo going on, which was great. They also had a bogo boba deal going on. You can pay with a credit card if you spend at least $10 for no charge. However, if you use a discovery or Amex card, they charge you a $1.50 fee. I got in line, paid, waited a bit, and got my order. They use baguette bread and don't use as much meat like in the past; it's not as fulfilling when you eat 1. At least this location uses pate, unlike the other location I went to a few weeks ago. Out the door it cost $17 something. They have a small parking lot, but it gets packed. People come and go quick though.

Even though it’s 15% off but quality is low: 1. Content in the bowl is so little like leftovers 2. meatball is still frozen inside… eww 3. Bean sprouts looks old & brown I’d spend a few extra bucks and go somewhere else for decent pho. Ruined my day really..:(

This Banh Mi Che Cali is located on Valley Blvd. and 7th Street in Alhambra. We've been there before to get to go sometimes because it was casual and cheap, like Vietnamese fast food. The price is low (they even have 13% off right now), but don't expect much in terms of quality. It looks brighter and cleaner after the renovation, but it's still unorganized, busy, and crowded. They always have a discount on Banh Mi (short baguette), such as buy 2 get 1 free, but sometimes we order their pre-packaged steamed vermicelli, desserts, etc. I didn't like their Bánh cuốn (Vietnamese steamed rice rolls) because they didn't have much filling inside, such as pork or mushrooms, and the rice rolls were not smooth enough. I ordered their Bún riêu (Vietnamese rice noodle soup, with soup flavored with tomatoes, shrimp paste, fish sauce, meatballs, and a meat broth), and it was mediocre. The taste was lacking in flavor, and the cabbage was bitter. Their banh mi tasted okay compared to other food. When I got my receipt, it didn't show my order number at the bottom of the receipt, but other customers had the order number on their receipts. I had to ask the cashier, and she showed me there's a tiny number on the receipt for my order. Many people waited for their orders for a while, and there's always a long queue there. Overall, it was a mediocre place for casual Vietnamese food, but it was very economical.

Google
This is my go-to hang out place. They have really good banh mi sandwiches. They also have great noodles and rice dishes along with some of the best Vietnamese food here, like bun bo hue, banh cuon, banh uot. You can buy them to go or eat there as they made them for you then and there anyway. Don’t forget about the che dessert. If you speak Vietnamese, you can even customize what you order. They speak English but not enough to understand if you customize; hence, better if you speak their language.

Google
I ordered 3 banh mi's from this place, per the Buy 2, Get 1 Free deal. The two BBQ pork banh mi's were superior to the BBQ beef one, which featured slightly stringy and perhaps too much (?) flavoring. The pork was tender and on point! Great deal with the 20% off everything promotion right now, and my total came out to be about 12 bucks. Credit card accepted on tabs above $10, which was also appreciated. I would definitely come by for banh mi's in the future!

Google
I traveled to LA and used uber eat to ordered my food. On the Uber app, the menu was very confused. They listed several categories that requires customer to selected. For example, You need to select 4 different types noodles for your soup. Example: pho noodle, egg noodles, large vermicelli Noodle, or large Flat noodle. Then No spicy, medium spicy, or Very spicy. Then choose your own Veggies, however, for the veggies there is $.75 extra fee for bean sprout, onions , cola trời , Basil, cilantro. It’s supper confusing because I never see any Vietnamese restaurants requisite choose tbe noodles for the Beef Stew Soup, Phở, and Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (bun Bo hue) . They never asked customer to pick the vegetable for the special soup, which they should know what type of noodle supposed to go with what special noodle soup. They would never ask what type of vegetable to pick to eat with that special type of soup. Because of the way they expected me to pick on their menu made me think they don’t provide bean sprout and I have to pick a type of noodle for each type of soup, so I paid more to get bean sprout to eat with the Bavitemsmse e eerof the bean sprout for my soups, and picked my own noodle. At the time my food arrived, there was a bag of vegetable and beans sprout was packed along with each order of soup. No lemon to eat the beef stew soup . No utensils so how could we eat our soup? The chicken wing came with a very very tiny cup of ranch. The beef stew soup came with a lot of white radish and carrot. Very little beef and the soup tasted bad. It’s not even close to the traditional Vietnamese beef stew. The Spicy Beef Noodle soup doesn’t smell and tasty like Bun Bo Hue and it’s not very spicy as requested. I’m a person who eat less salt and very less potassium but I still need to put a little Salt into the soup to make it taste a bit better. No tasted of shrimp sauce ingredient and cooked lemon grass inside the soup. Pho soup doesn’t smell like the tradition Pho broth. In concludes: its not worth it to buy the food here. No utensil to eat food if you are a traveler, not tastty, paid extra money to buy extra bean sprout for nothing. .

Yelp
This is my go-to place for Vietnamese sandwiches because of the value. Before the pandemic, most of the Vietnamese sandwich shops I went to offered buy 2, get 1 free -- it was very common. However, after the pandemic, almost all the other shops increased their prices and no longer offer buy 2, get 1 free. This is the only one left that I know of that still offers it. They raised their prices too, but they now offer 12% off, so the price is still okay. So I stopped going to other Vietnamese shops and only go here. They always have a line, and sometimes it can be long, even out the door. I guess everybody knows the value they provide here. I usually order the banh mi and occasionally get baked breads and Vietnamese dishes. The ambiance is basic, but since they renovated, it's much brighter and feels more spacious. Parking is never a problem, as they have a big parking lot.

Yelp
Stopped by Bánh Mì Chè Cali mainly out of convenience and curiosity. I didn't get a chance to try the bánh mì this time, but overall the experience was just okay. The spring rolls were pretty mid and lacked flavor. The vermicelli was also subpar and didn't really stand out. The sesame balls were unfortunately very hard, which made them difficult to enjoy. The one highlight for me was the egg rolls. They were flavorful, crispy, and easily the best thing I ordered. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was particularly fantastic either. It works if you need something quick and convenient, but based on what I tried, I wouldn't go out of my way. I'd maybe give it another shot for the bánh mì specifically, since that's what they're known for.

Yelp
One star only because we're unable to give negative reviews. Probably the most infuriating experience i've ever had. I've been here countless times on my way home to grab something quick to eat. The food isn't amazing, but it's cheap and usually fast. Today I went in, grabbed some stuff off the counter, and ordered a wonton noodle soup. This typically takes 5-10 min to be ready. Today I watched 10 people that came after me get their orders within 10 minutes of me ordering. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked a waitress if my order was ready. After 25 minutes I asked another waitress if my order was ready. After 30 minutes I asked a 3rd waitress if my order was ready. I guess after nearly 40 minutes of waiting they decided to finally make my order. My issue wasn't with my order being forgotten, but the 'idgaf' attitudes the waitresses gave me. I'm guessing my look of frustration with their service was noticeable so they decided to make me wait. I stood at the counter and watched as they made other orders for customers that came after me. Each of the waitresses, old viet ladies, did not seem to care that I was just trying to get my order and go home. I grew up in SGV and i'm used to bad service, it's the norm and the social contract you agree upon for good food, but this was absolutely ridiculous. The wonton noodle soup takes 2-3 minutes to put together and again, i've been there countless times. This was the 4th time i've waited over 30 minutes for a single order. Absolutely trash service and the workers need an attitude adjustment. Again, i'm used to bad attitudes but this was the worst experience i've ever had at a restaurant in SGV. FYI i'm Taiwanese and grew up on SGV and you know we normally don't cause a fuss with service, but this was absolutely ridiculous. I've never actually been so mad before today with a restaurant.

Yelp
We got the Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) to go in this afternoon. We ordered #1 Special and two orders of #5 Grilled pork sandwiches. Each sandwich costs only $7.5, and they have a buy two, get one free promotion on sandwiches, plus a 12% discount. We also got the sweet version of sticky rice ($4) as dessert, and we liked it. My daughters and I liked the grilled pork sandwiches; they tasted okay, even though they weren't the best. For the price that we were paying, it was a very great deal. They always have a lot of people waiting in line to get to-go. Overall, it was about 3.5 stars.

Yelp
I called in last minute and they were still able to prepare a party tray of egg rolls for me. They were super fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be ordering egg rolls from here again.

Yelp
A good deal is hard to beat and Banh Mi Che Cali is serving up great deals. Not only do they advertise BOGO free milk tea on the outside of the building, they also offer a Buy 2 get 1 free banh mi. If we need a quick meal on the way to Dodgers Stadium or a long drive, we swoop in and take advantage. Where else can you get 2 milk teas and 2 banh mi for under $20.00? I'll tell you...no where. The sweetest ladies working behind the register. Plenty of already prepared meals and sides available to grab. So far we've been in a hurry and taking our meals to go. I do plan on making time to dine in and try their pho one day soon. Smells amazing when it's being served piping hot to a someone while I am waiting in line. * Plenty of parking in the attached lot * Cannot place a phone order ahead of time so there might be a wait on busy days

Yelp
This is not a fancy place. Having said that it has great food, drink and food specials and fresh ingredients.

Yelp
This place, in my opinion, used to be around 4 stars rating because of its return on investment which is a bit higher than one may imagined. That is, high on quality and quantity, but a bit lagging in amenities and decor. We went there for boba milk tea. Boba milk tea options were limited to six choices. But it was the BOGO free option that would make it more attractive for most customers including myself to order the boba tea. Although bang mi has 2-order-for-1 free option available, we didn't order any banh mi here. Catering order also was not so bad; see the menu in enclosed pictures. Enjoy boba milk tea!

Yelp
My go-to spot when I need a pho and banh mi boost! I first had them delivered when I was super sick with COVID several years ago and have since done pick-up, too. I've never eaten on location but they have a decent sized parking lot. The Rare Steak and Well Done Brisket Pho is so good and always high quality meat. I looooove their BBQ Pork Banh Mi ~ a lot of Vietnamese places in the SGV don't offer Banh Mi, so Banh Mi Che Cali hits all the marks for me! Plus their packaging for car travel is super secure and I've never had anything spill in transit.

Yelp
I wanted to try a new place for banh mi and I saw this place nearby and decided to give it a try. I doordashed banh mis in bbq pork, ham & meatloaf and bbq chicken. Also did an order of shrimp spring rolls. The shrimp spring rolls were beautifully packaged and wrapped. Very generous on the peanut dipping sauce. Their version is not your typical spring roll. There is no vermicelli. The lettuce leaves are not whole and chopped up. The rice paper is very soft and delicate where even when I was gently pulling the rolls apart, it would break. The meat in the banh mi were seasoned and cooked perfectly. One thing that would make these sandwiches better is that I wish there were more carrots and daikon to make it more filling. Upon opening my sandwiches the veggies and herbs were very lacking.

Yelp
Came here for the buy one get one drink coffee isn't included. Wanted the Thai tea but the lady said they didn't have any but they had a dispenser full of it. Order the milk tea with boba and one milk tea with jelly the one with jelly was super sweet and the milk tea and boba could've been better. The Vietnamese coffees was really strong

Yelp
First time ordering their party tray. I called in to place my order the day before. They asked for my phone number and date/time I needed it ready. Came in and my tray was ready on time. Stood in line to pay. They verify the order by the phone number provided. Pretty straight forward and easy. With their current 15% off, I got the cold cut sandwich party tray for $32. Brought it for a potluck and it was a hit. Will definitely look into other party trays next time as well.

Yelp
I guess you should trust when a place has 3.5 stars. The ban mi was dry, the soup sucked so bad. At least the strawberry yogurt drink was good. But the thing that had me make this bad review was the basil drink. It was like drinking hand sanitizer ima. Im guessing whoever made it used there hands to stir or something because it was horrid. Just felt like drinking hand sanitizer i tossed it. Dont spend ur money here, if you never had viet food don't choose this place. Let me save you.
google avatar

James H. L.

Yelp
During weekdays a current 15% off everything makes this an unbelievable bargain. It's a ordering counter with non reserved tables (with about 10 available 4-tops) Food is back to regular portions from last month when they used to have daily specials instead of the flat discount. All the noodles are fresh, the broth's rich, and the stew gravy are tasty and well balanced. There's an entire French bakery section to buy different kinds of cake, cakes and pastries, as well as fresh baguettes. they also have Banh mi sandwiches available, well, not a specialty here the value can't be beat by the price for the size and taste, plus fresh baguettes. really great Vietnamese food closer than Westminster. it's a very casual dynamic experience more like a small donut shop might be than a true restaurant. plentiful parking in the adjacent lot plus more on the street. Note, there is probably a line for the bakery, but if you're eating in, they do take orders separately at the second register rather than all trying to stand in the same line.
google avatar

Jason L.

Yelp
I'm hesitant to write this review as it will let out one of the best secrets in the SGV. When everyone is charging an average $20 for even quick serve burger, ramen, or pho, it is nice to know this place is keeping their prices reasonable - averaging $13 for bowl of noodles plus protein. Unheard of in this day and age of rampant inflation. This location has actual seating, unlike their Rosemead one , which ripped theirs out. Their banh mi uses in-house made French-style baguettes. When we arrived at 2PM, there was still a small line.
google avatar

Theresa D.

Yelp
Wow, this place is really affordable! You order at the counter if you're taking food to go, but they do take orders at the table if you're dining in. It's usually busy and the tables and chairs have that sticky feeling. We got the Steamed Rolls with Meat and the Bun Bo Hue. We didn't have high expectations given the prices but everything was good and we were stuffed by the end of the meal. We also ordered their party trays for a family event, and they were a hit! Just make sure to place your order (in person) the day before pick up.
google avatar

Mandy W.

Yelp
We noticed that Banh Mi Che Cali reopened after a post on SGV Eats, and knew we needed to visit. They offer a variety of dishes for a great price. We opted for their buy 2, get 1 banh mi, along with their $1 egg rolls, but might swing by another time for their other premade dishes. Great service from the cashier in front.
google avatar

Don Chuey M.

Yelp
A must-visit anytime I'm in the area. They've got a full line of veggie options, tons of prepared food, and of course their amazing banh mis. We've been coming here for about five years now, and the food is always consistently good. The selection is huge, fresh items, ready-to-eat meals, and plenty of snacks to grab. Che Cali is our family favorite, especially the banh mi special.
google avatar

Jay C.

Yelp
Banh mi Che Cali you can never go wrong, I'm glad this one is much better than the one in Pasadena and much closer than the one I go to in Anaheim. The food is always good for fast food Vietnamese, the staff friendly and really direct and the place is clean and well lit and lots of parking too. I like that you can get soup and noodle here already made to go. Similar selection but not as large as the one in westminster. But overall solid and very affordable. I'm glad there's on here now that's better!

Yelp
Excellent Banh Mi for take out with slow service

Yelp
Bbq pork on a baguette....as it should be. It's not overstuffed, but it looks like chunks/slices of a pork chop. With julienned carrots and cilantro. And generous with the sliced jalapeños, open it to check if that much heat works for you. Basically a big awesome sandwich...easily shared by two. 5/5 but why share when they offer great deals. 15 percent off. Or buy two get one free. Great deals for great food. 5/5 And the deals extend to drinks too, inxluding the boba and milk teas. I got two green iced teas nooooo boba for a BOGO buy one get one free. Nice. The pho looked so yum and many diners looked like that was what was set in front of them. See menu attached here. Next time, pho. The ambiance is functional...I'd call it happy counter clutter ... counters displaying food to go...it all looked intriguing and yummy. I didn't know most of what was displayed, so it incites and invites an adventurous foodie spirit to try something....but thats not me today. I wanted to dive into my sando and I got it within 5 minutes of waiting. Drinks came fast. Banh mi came fast. I'm so glad this place survived the pandemic. I will be back with mom and friends in tow. The dining area is clean, seating spacing is wide so a feeling of privacy for conversation. The ladies behind the counter are efficient and hard working...they might not smile or greet you warmly, but the aunties sense a confused newbie and were patient and helpful...and didn't want customers (me) to miss out on deals, so tip them anyway.

Yelp
These egg rolls are fire! Where else can you score crispy, flavorful egg rolls for just a buck each? Seriously--$1 for quality you can taste. Milk tea BOGO deals? Nowhere close. On top of that, the staff here are super helpful and genuinely nice--great food and great service. Total win.
google avatar

Abraham K.

Yelp
Deals, buy 2 get 1 free banh mi and buy one get one free boba. The quality is OK - meat was ice cold. So hard to beat the value in this economy though. Ladies up front were so nice.
google avatar

Jacky V.

Yelp
Always satisfied when we come here. We come for the tea and sandwiches and stay for the soups and extra Yums. Food is always good. Service is fast and friendly. Ambience can be busy but always a good place for a nice comfy soup
google avatar

David X.

Yelp
Been coming here since I was in high school and I often go there after work when they have specials during the work week. I often go for their noodle specials. The place is pretty cheap with multiple BOGO deals so if you're getting anything other than noodles, it's cheaper and better to order with a friend. The Pho and noodle soups are pretty basic but worth the price if they're the daily special. The broth is pretty good but they are a bit cheap on the meats. Service is quick but you will find that the tables are usually occupied with people waiting for takeout orders. The place relies more on volume of customers so you may find an odd sticky table but this place is more fun with takeout.
google avatar

Karina C.

Yelp
I like Vietnamese food that has been coming to the restaurant for years.. Mostly to get Chicken Noodles Soup I love it, also Fried Rice, Baguette that is fresh and perfect for a good sandwich, my hubby always gets the milk green tea boba with no ice and it's buy one get one free for $5.50 such a great deal. The service is ok, not that friendly but I'm fine with it. Just go and get what I need. The ambiance well I always get food to go to the restaurant needs a makeover, it's mostly busy, so you know that food is good. Have a parking lot on the back of the restaurant.
google avatar

Pattie P.

Yelp
So I ordered a passion fruit drink but they rung me up for 2 drinks instead of one which is fine as I had already paid and only realized after looking at the receipt. I show the lady the receipt and she pulls out 1 drink from the fridge and says oh no ice ok ( I think there was only 1 left?) I assume the ice melted, no biggie. When I point out that I actually paid for 2, she then says fine I'll make you 2 and cuts the plastic sealed at the top of the drink she was going to give me, pours half of it into an empty cup, adds ice to both, seals it both cups and says here you go. I was too flabbergasted to say anything and just left. The service is just horrible.

Yelp
been coming here for years + so has my family!! their 2 for 3 banh mi deal is super good & the food has always been delicious! my bf rlly likes the beef banh mi + i like their bun rieu today must have been a mad day though bc the worker at the front must have been in a really bad mood. usually the have already made food on the side, but sometimes they don't have everything. i ordered two banh cuon & she got irritated and told me that there was already two on the side. i said okay and grabbed them, and then i ordered a bun rieu to go and she said really mad, "if you wanted it, it's on the side." but what if i wanted it fresh? what if i didn't know? & then at the end of the transaction, she literally threw my receipt and pen at me lol i understand being irritated but i felt like that was unnecessary, even though i was being pretty nice the whole transaction and then as i was leaving she was just staring at me as i left as if i did something wrong...rlly rubbed me the wrong way! tldr: if you're looking for good eggrolls + banh mi's, just go to banh mi my tho down the street. save urself the attitude

Yelp
If you're looking for cheap eats, Bahn Mi & Che Cali is the spot. They have really good Vietnamese eggrolls and a great deal for $.90 each. Their bahn mi is not the best, but very cheap at $6 each and you get 1 free if you buy 2. I haven't been here in a while and during my last recent visit, I noticed that the quality and taste of their food has gone down. I used to like their spring rolls and now it's just doesn't taste good anymore. The peanut sauce was so watery and flavorless. The bahn mi bread was good and chewy, but the bbq pork inside didn't taste good either. It has some spices that didn't agree with my taste buds. I'll continue to come here for eggrolls only.
google avatar

Allen C.

Yelp
Service is still slow, lunch and dinner. No one seems to care, dirty dishes left on the table until you call someone to clean up. Special beef noodle soup tastes bland with little ingredients, definitely "you get what you pay for". No tip is necessary for this place.

Yelp
Had a craving for banh mi but all of my usual spots were already closed for the evening so I stopped by BM&CC. It has been a while since I've been to one of BM&CC places. This turned out to be a a real disappointment. First, we waited more than 45 minutes for just one sandwich. On top of that it was the worst banh mi I've ever had. What happened to this place? It was never the best spot for banh mi but they were always decent enough. But something has changed. The bread can't be called a baguette; it's a very generic white roll like the ones at Subways. Inside the sandwich was not much better. The meat was super chewy and it was void of any Vietnamese mayo or Maggie sauce. We also bought a beef noodles to try. It should've called raw garlic with noodles and beef. There was overpowering amount of raw garlic in it. I love garlic but it was way too much even for me. Besides the garlic this dish lacked any other flavor. This was definitely not the BM&CC I remembered.
google avatar

Yelp
Today the noodles actually tasted good when dined in. They do have a lot of good stuff for great prices. I hope people that work there wipe the chairs, they need some TLC

Yelp
I've only had their food from a delivery service. I have not been to their establishment. That being said... _ OMG!!! The food there is great!! It was so good that I ordered twice in a row in two days!! I got the Rare steak and brisket Pho and BBQ chicken Bonh Mi and a Thai Iced Tea. I was feeling real lazy and thought I'd order online. I don't too often, but I wanted to this day. And I wanted Pho. So I simply pick this place. Well I loved the food so much that I ordered the same thing the very next day! I NEVER do this! The food was THAT good!! I don't know what to tell ya, but this is my goto next time I want a great Pho or a Bonh Mi! I hope you do too!! Maybe one day I'll go check out their brick and mortar restaurant!

Just like the other Che Cali. But this place has a good selection of ready made food and desserts.

Yelp
This is my favorite Vietnamese sandwich place for years . they have always had buy 2 get 1 free deal so I get the number one and order the vegetables separately. So 3 sandwiches are only $12 and they are long -7" . They are freshly made so you have to wait but it's worth it just and to my opinion healthy. I also get their buy 1 get one drink. So my bill is $18 with 3 sandwiches and 2 large drinks (one Thai tea and one green tea.) very delicious and reasonable. They have daily specials so you can get variety. But I only go here for the banhmi sandwich and drink . The place is nothing special . Nothing fancy - I just buy and eat at home.

Yelp
There's always a line here when we stop by, but it moves quickly. The sandwiches are consistently good, and the prices are reasonable. We always go for their special sandwiches w/ the head cheese. It's a great spot if you're looking for something quick and satisfying for the road.

Yelp
Good value for what you're getting. 3 sandwiches for $12? I ordered 1 of each bbq pork, chicken and beef banh mi. They gave me the bbq meatloaf and that was okay. I will say the baguette is fresh! They don't toast it so it doesn't scratch the roof of your mouth. They also gave me the toppings (pickled carrots and jalapeños) in a separate bag but there weren't any cilantro. I also ordered a Thai tea with boba and the jelly milk tea. Again good value for $5.50!

Yelp
I've been to multiple locations of this shop over the years. They are known for their 2 for 1 boba drinks and egg rolls. I find the shops have predominantly Vietnamese customers, which is a good sign. I don't know what half the items are that are displayed on the counters and in the self service fridges. They are so kind about explaining things. It is a fun deli to have in the area. Prices are good. They seem to have a steady business of dine-in, take out and catering customers.

Yelp
I always go for their by two get one free sandwich. I always get the grilled pork and it's a very tender meat. Even when I order six sandwiches, it takes them over 10 minutes to make. Even if it's not that busy I feel like they're pretty slow with making the food. I always buy to go so I'm just standing by the door for 10 to 20 minutes.

Yelp
I was really in the mood for a good banh mi and although I live far, this location has always done me right. I know I had a previous review for this location but can't seem to find it. Although there were a few locations near me, I still prefer this location since it WAS one of my favorite places due to the amount of filling in each sandwich. You really can't go wrong with Buy2Get1 deal. I ordered two BBQ pork (#5) and one of the Dac Biet w/Headcheese (#2). As with every banh mi, I asked for extra veggies and extra pate. I can always judge the food by its weight. I knew something was wrong when the sandwiches were lighter than expected. I opened up each sandwich and there were minimal veggies and no pate. They only gave me 4 pieces of BBQ pork in two sandwiches. I took both BBQ sandwiches and compiled them into the Dac Biet sandwich. This definitely did not satisfy my craving and I felt grumpy while eating. Although the sandwich filled me up, I wasn't satisfied enough that I could eat more. There are so many other good places for Banh Mi and this place was just knocked off of my list. The only reason I liked coming here is because they use French baguettes instead of Vietnamese baguettes, and also the convenience option to buy other dishes and desserts. I should just stick to Banh Mi My Tho for my Banh Mi needs. I heard good reviews on Banh Mi Hoa Phat but I don't think they have headcheese and pate. Quality and consistency are reasons why I revisit the same restaurant and BMCC doesn't have it anymore!

Yelp
Last year for a Christmas party, we got their egg roll party tray and it was a great hit. To be honest, the price was decent for what it was worth. Be mindful it's a party tray so it was just 50 egg rolls with no sauce or vegetables. We recently also did an Uber eats order for the sandwiches and fried rice. The sandwich is rather small but for the price, it's not bad. The carrot was picked slightly too sweet for my liking. The fried rice was great, but not a lot of toppings in there. Very little amount of shrimp. However, the seasoning and the rice was good. One thing to note about this place is buy one get one drink, if you are feeling some ultra sweet boba drinks, this is a great deal. The service is fast and easy, not much of interactions. Parking is in the back. Not much but usually have open spaces.

Yelp
Was hungover and this brought me back to life loll I had the rare steak & well done brisket pho delivered and it did not disappoint. The broth was super flavorful, the meat was good quality and not too fatty. Will definitely become a go-to spot to order from. Great prices too!

Yelp
A go to spot for something quick and easy especially for a lunch break. Love their daily specials! I've had most of their banh mis and they're all really good plus they have a buy 2 get 1 free special! The staff is really accommodating, because I usually ask for the veggies on the side since I'll save them for the next day (and they're still good). I've tried their Monday special as well and it was pretty solid. There are a few tables inside if you choose to dine in, but I usually take it to go.

Yelp
Banh Mi Che Cali is a mini family owned chain and every location is a tad different from the ones I visited. I really like this location, BUT bring your patience as food orders take time. However, since it's a HIGH TRAFFIC location the pre-prep meals are FRESH and not sitting out on the counter for eternity. Dessert items seems to run out by evening time. Savory items should not be a problem. Gotta love the "buy 2 get 1 free banh Mi and desserts" here. Am fan of this location even though it is super busy and a tad slow- again, bring your patience and you will be rewarded with yummy eats!

Yelp
Have been coming here for years! Since opening in the 90s? We moved away after having kids and came by today. Lin is still the manager and the place was recently renovated to be brighter. Buy 2 baguette ban mi get one free at $7 each. Was $2 before! But we still bought and got egg rolls $1 each. Drinks are still bogo at $5.50. Still consistent for pick up and will always stop by to say hi to Lin.

Yelp
My son had the pork banh mi today and 3 hours later he's violently throwing up. The worst food poisoning. I mean, you get what you pay for. Still disappointing tho, cuz why?

Yelp
Food, great. Pricing, great. Parking, ok. English, not too bad. I love coming here for the bahn mi sandwiches. The bread is always soft and no matter which one you get, you'll probably like it. The pho is delicious too. Don't get me started on the milk teas. Buy one, get one free!! The sandwich is buy 2 get one free. Can't beat it in that area. The place has a asian homey vibe. Will be back soon.
