A traditional banh mi and Boba joint. I go here when I want fresh food with simple ingredients and big flavor.

I am using Google maps a lot to decide in which restaurant I am having my dinner. To be honest I did not understand why this restaurant has a really high rating. This is an ordinary restaurant that you find what you paid for nothing more. Tastes are just alright, the prices are reasonable.

I love Vietnamese food, and I love banh mi, so it made sense for me to try this place out. You place your order at the counter, and then wait for your order to be prepared and then take out. There is a bunch of seating outdoors, but it can get pretty hot in the summer to be sitting outside, and I mostly saw people do takeaway. I got the signature sandwich and some shrimp summer rolls. The summer rolls were great. They were fresh, and the sauce was very umami and packed a lot of flavour. The sandwich was pretty good as well. The patty and the meat both seemed fresh and complimented with the pickled carrots. I just wish there was a little more herbs in the sandwich, like a little more cilantro and mint. Although the food was quite good, I found the prices to be a little bit on the higher side, specially for a place without any service.

The first time here and went with all the recommendations. The bahn mi was delicious (could have had more protein, but that's no issue). The spring rolls were fresh and light. The vietnamese coffee was very strong(which I loved), going to come back here to try their bowls and Boba next time.

This is a really cute spot in Lawrenceville which sadly is yet another prime example of pittsburghers' basement-level standards for food quality. The banh mis are squarely below average, and grossly overpriced for the quantity of food. Underfilled and bland. You taste nothing but sugar. They are missing pickled daikon, a critical component. The tofu was simply the pre-packed fried variety and had no seasoning or sauce. Sure, you can load it up with sriracha but the sandwich I had was so sad for something that should be incredibly simple and delicious. At least the drinks are excellent, and the service is good.

The second Vietnamese place I've tried in the city. It was pretty good, although I think I might prefer the other place (Pho and Roll) a tad bit more. Nonetheless, I ordered the vermicelli bowl in the 'pork n roll' style (without lettuce) as well as the black tea mango boba/bubble tea with passion fruit pop boba. The vermicelli noodles were pretty good, and came in a good portion. The price is quite fair for the portion. The carrots were delicious. Very well marinated and the perfect balance of savoriness to sweetness. Crunchy and fresh. The sauce was also pretty good. I will say, it's on the sweet side. Personally, I like my sauces sweeter though, so it wasn't a problem. Decent amount of sauce too. What I wasn't that big of a fan of was, unfortunately, the meat. It was hard and kind of chewy, not tender. Also, the flavor was kind of strange, almost stale-tasting. It didn't take like the maple sugar-flavored meat I thought it was going to be. But, the meat portion was solid. Finally, I thought the boba was really good. I know some people come here just for the boba, and I can see why. It's not overly sweet and has a great flavor. I couldn't really taste the bitterness in the black tea, which is good. Tasted mainly just like mango. And the popping boba is amazing! Soft and easy to pop, great fruity flavor. All in all, a nice spot for Vietnamese sandwiches and bowls. Do not overlook the boba, as that's really good. Fresh and decent prices. Pork isn't the best.

Google
Service is ok, average (ish), and they know this. Price is ok when the sandwich is ok, and too high when it's not. Inconsistent (and they know this). Less than 50% of the time, we get a warm, crisp, fresh sandwich, more than 50% of the time we don't. Bubble tea is prime one time, and the next it's weak and milky. Say something, just once, and they'll let you know that "it's how we make it, it's the same way every time). Shop small, and local? for what? at 50% (or less) you have better chances at a casino.

Got the viet special banh mi. The bread was super tasty combined with the ingredients. I thought the carrots and veggie mix could have had slightly more vinegar. Great sandwich for the price

My co-worker introduced me to the fabulous iced Vietnamese coffee here and now I am addicted! Try it...you will love it! Workers are friendly and gracious too!

Yelp
I'm absolutely THRILLED that Banh Mi & Ti's dining room is open again!! As a second generation Vietnamese American, Vietnamese food is my ultimate comfort food and there's nothing like some phở on a blustery cold day. The food was delicious and it came out quickly, what more can you ask for!

Yelp
Friendly service and decent bahn mi. There was something a little sweet on the sandwich that I don't normally love, but it wasn't overpowering. My son loved the "strawberry juice" (boba tea without the tea and only the flavoring). The sandwich was solid and the pork was plentiful. If I returned, I would ask for a little less of the sweet sauce and a little more cilantro.

Yelp
Great gem in Lawrenceville. Always friendly service. Banh mi sandwiches and rice (or vermicelli) bowls are so good! Mostly takeout with some outside seating available in nice weather. Boba tea especially good with soft and chewy tapioca balls :-)

Yelp
Was craving a Banh Mi before a tattoo appointment. This place was convieniently on Bulter street. We ordered right before they opened from their website. We arrived right at 11 and our tea was already ready. We had to wait a little bit longer for out sandwiches but they were overall very quick. We took our meal back to our Airbnb. My sandwich was really delicious except the end of the bread was little hard and dry. Once you got past the end, the tofu was nice and warm and the saucy was perfectly sweet and savoury. I added jalapeno which honestly was not that spicy in a good way. Just the right amount of heat. My bubble tea was also really good and refreshing. Not too sweet and they gave a lot of bubbles. I would definitely recommend this place even though it's not the best banh mi I have ever had.

Yelp
When in the Lawrenceville neighborhood, this is my go-to fast casual lunch spot. The baguette for the bread of the Bahn Mi is crunchy on the outside and deliciously soft inside. I get the colorful decaffeinated Pea Flower tea to drink (a rare find locally) and they also offer bubble tea and Vietnamese coffee. The service is always welcoming and quick. They have a few tables for outdoor seating on a nice day.

Yelp
The food here was fresh and absolutely amazing! The location provides counter service. It was very close to our Airbnb so we picked up our order and then ate at the Airbnb. There is no inside seating but there are a few outside tables. They do a bustling take out business. We ordered the veggie and shrimp spring rolls, the Viet and classy chic bahn mi. Fabulous!

Yelp
There are so few banh mi places in Pittsburgh so I'm really glad I finally went to this one! It's a really small shop in Lawrenceville with no indoor seating but a few outdoor tables outside. The place is small so the line usually goes out the door, but it moves pretty fast. We went at lunchtime and didn't have to wait too long to snag a table and order. The sandwiches are pretty large and filling and definitely worth the price! It's filled with lots of veggies that taste fresh. Bread texture is crusty but still chewy -- the type that leaves crumbs all over you when you bite into it. They also serve a variety of Vietnamese drinks/coffees as well as bowls. Definitely satisfied my banh mi craving :)

Yelp
Anything work the pork is my fav. Be it a Banh mi or the rice bowl, get it! They r both the best!!!!!

Yelp
Delicious! We always come here when we visit Pittsburgh. The bread is wonderful and soft. The pickled veggies are bright and crisp. The pork is tender and the sauce is yummy. Service is quick, don't skip this place!

Yelp
My first time at this spot and I will be back sooner rather than later! I got the beef pho and it was fantastic as well as the fresh shrimp summer rolls! It was a beautiful day so we sat outside! They were some of the kindest souls working there and I'm so happy to support their small women owned business

Yelp
First time here. We were walking by on Butler St and just wanted to do a quick stop and get something refreshing and a quick bite, like an appetizer, and ordered just spring rolls and two bubble tea. It took a LONG time to get these few items. I think that in New York City, the pace is just quicker, and serving food for casual walk-ins, is just faster. This place operates on Pittsburgh clock. You will wait, if that is ok with you, then no problem. For me, it just didn't work out. Little pet peeve: empty the trash bin. We will clean the table ourselves, but then, there is not even room in the bin to place the trash.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places in Pittsburgh for bubble tea. I usually get the "Sophia Drink" which includes pea flower tea, oat milk, black sugar, and boba. It's a delicious treat especially after a tough work out at a nearby gym. The staff inside are always very friendly and more than willing to help explain anything on their menu and make recommendations if you are undecided. They have plenty of dairy free options for their drinks, including almond milk and oat milk. I'm not really a big fan of banh mi sandwiches in general, from any place (including in Vietnam when I visited a few years ago), so I don't hold that against them. But people are always ordering their signature Vietnamese sandwiches and seem to really enjoy them. So, if you like banh mi, I'm sure they do a great job here. Overall this is a great place in Lawrenceville that has been around for a few years now and hopefully will be around for many more years to come!

Yelp
Really wish I could give Banh Mi & Ti more than 5 stars! I'm on a Banh mi kick and have been getting sandwiches quite often recently. My favorite protein is the pork and roll. They are so good -- it's addicting! There are tables set up outside so you can enjoy your meal outside if you'd like The staff are always so sweet and accommodating. They are wonderful!
google avatar

Sara Z.

Yelp
Love their banh mi! My favorite is the xa xiu, it's less dry compared to their other sandwiches and always very flavorful and juicy. This is one of my go to places for a quick and yummy sandwich! Sadly not a fan of their Vietnamese coffee, I have def had better... weather was nice, so we sat outside in their outdoor seating which was really pleasant.

Yelp
Detailed Review: Chicken Banh Mi: 4/5 I'm not normally a fan of Banh Mi because I find that the flavor is often lacking but this place did a really good job. Only reason it's not getting 5/5 is because the bread was a little bit harder than I would have liked and they gave it to us just cut in half and put into a grocery bag without being wrapped so some of the filling fell out. Thai tea w/ boba: 5/5 Really good and will definitely be coming back for this again. Not sure if they do a blended version but if they do I'll be getting that. Overall, friendly service and a good product. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise! My dad and I ordered the shrimp summer rolls, cafe sua da, and Classy Chick and Xa Xiu banh mis. These banh mis were big and stuffed with filling! They have a variety of traditional and fusion options to choose from, but I recommend trying their banh mi. They source their baguettes locally from BreadWorks bakery, and the texture and flavor of their bread is otherworldly. The cha siu in my banh mi tasted just like the kind I get from Asian grocers in the south. The cafe sua da was thick, creamy, and the perfect balance of bitter and sweet--perfect for a hot summer day. The summer rolls and peanut sauce were lovely too. Everything was delicious and the cost of my meal was fair. This part of Lawrenceville is yuppie, so expect higher food prices anywhere on the strip. Banh Mi and Ti is actually one of the cheapest options on this street. Keep in mind that there is no indoor seating, but there are 3 small tables outside if you choose to eat at the restaurant. This is an authentic place for Vietnamese food and is API female owned. Go support your small local businesses!

Yelp
My absolute favourite Bahn Mi spot in Pittsburgh! The takeout is quick and efficient and the staff are always kind. Visiting brightens my day every time I stop in. The tofu summer rolls are the best I've had in the city so far. They are refreshing, large, and exactly what I want from a summer roll. Simple and delicious. While there is not seating inside, there are tables immediately outside that make a perfect sunny Saturday lunch watching the Lawrenceville dogs pass by.

Yelp
The Banh Mi was so good!! Meat was really well made and put together in the sandwich and felt light but filling. Service was quick and the people were VERY kind. Plenty of parks around to eat outside as well as their designated outside seating. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

Yelp
Absolutely love Banh Mi & Ti, it's one of my favorite spots in Pittsburgh. Delicious banh mi, plenty of options for bubble tea, and very friendly staff. I love the drunken beef or feelin tofu banh mi with jalapeños. A great spot for a quick bite to go and the option of sitting outside is always nice.
google avatar

Andrew B.

Yelp
this quaint vietnamese spot has limited seating, but a nice outdoor patio sitting right on butler street in lawrenceville. pork n roll banh mi (pictured) was xcellent...the maple syrup / 5 spices marinade gave the succulent meat a wondrous flavor, the syrup adding just a hint of sweetness...add in fresh veggies on a super fresh baguette = 5.0 perfection! i find banh mis to sometimes b a bit on the dry side- but NOT this one...the marinade providing the right amount of moisture content. additionally the service was VERY fast...and they were doing a pretty brisk business at 3:00 in the afternoon on a weds.
google avatar

Shawn H.

Yelp
This was really excellent. We got the pork belly banh mi (the xa xiu), the drunken beef vermicelli bowl, shrimp spring rolls, and tofu spring rolls, and loved all of it.

Yelp
picked up a banh mi for my drive home from Pittsburgh back to Dulles! the person at the front was willing to run my order out so I didn't have to look for parking or worry about it. I don't know if you've ever tried to eat a banh mi while driving, but it's definitely not easy. it was a good banh mi. hit the spot while I drove out of Pittsburgh. also ordered summer rolls which I ate when I got home. highly recommend this spot, but my god, I think this is the most expensive banh mi I've ever purchased.

Scarlet P.

Yelp
This restaurant was very cute and in a good location! The prices were great and they also had a variety of bubble tea options which I didn't try but they looked good. I would say it was a 10/10 if the sandwich had a little more filling to bread ratio and they had an indoor seating option but I would still recommend. They were also very fast and the service was efficient! 9/10 overall rating
google avatar

Amelia D.

Yelp
A great place for a banh mi fix! The staff is very helpful and they're fast. I like the pork roll more than the viet special and the beef stew was very delicious to dip my banh mi in! The only cons was : It's a little pricy for the filling amount and the bread I had was hard.
google avatar

Joe P.

Yelp
Definitely the best bahn mi in Pittsburgh. Second location opened in the north hills as well.
google avatar

Samantha R.

Yelp
Banh Mi & Ti is great! The ingredients are super fresh and the owners and employees are super kind. I have had both a banh mi sandwich and a bowl and both provided similar yet distinct experiences. The price is fair and it's a great go-to for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend for a quick bite in the Lawrenceville neighborhood!

Alex H.

Yelp
We were so excited to try this place and ordered the tofu bahn mi as well as the viet special. Both just weren't that exciting and not worth the $10+ price tag. I found it strange they didn't offer fresh jalapenos and overall the taste was bland. The best part was the bread but I ended up taking the head cheese off of mine as I didn't care for the crunchy, gelatinous texture. I'd consider going back and trying the pork n roll but it's not high on my list. Tram's is a safer bet overall.
google avatar

Ken L.

Yelp
This is an awesome spot in Lawrenceville for banh mi! I've never had banh mi before since I'm not a fan of pickled veggies but this place really does a delicate light pickle on their veggies and it works really well with their protein options and baguette. I got the chicken in my banh mi and I like the light fish sauce and lemongrass flavors. I like that they also have rice and vermicelli noodle bowls too. They have char siu here and it looks homemade! It's pretty yummy and you can get it in your banh mi as well. You can also go for more authentic options like the viet special with head cheese and pate. The viet coffee was mostly ice but it was still good. People seem to really love the bubble tea here too!

Danielle T.

Yelp
Always delicious! The beef and chicken sandwiches are the best! I also love the Vietnamese iced coffee! I will always come back here and recommend!

C M.

Yelp
Sandwich lacked flavor, and was dry. veggies in the sandwich could have had a better pickle. Pickling was not very noticeable. Jalapeños were not offered as an option, and would have been a great addition to the sandwich Summer roll lacked vegetables, flavor and texture.
google avatar

Geraldine U.

Yelp
Come here for the banh mi! Different wonderful takes on the traditional banh mi and rice options in case you prefer it over bread. The meats are tender and juicy, the bread is a nice baguette and the toppings add the right freshness and crunch to the sandwich. The bubble tea was ok for me. The tapioca was a little too chewy and the flavor was a little lacking.
google avatar

R W.

Yelp
Great food all the time. Check it out when on Butler St. I have to include more to meet the minimum character so nothing more to say other than they have great food!
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
First time here. Friendly staff. Takeout only. Ordered the pork belly banh mi and fresh spring rolls. Enjoyed both. The veggies were low on the pickling but otherwise really clean and fresh sandwich. Enjoyed the spring rolls but could do without the sauce that came with it. Will definitely be back to try some more banh mi variants!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in this afternoon and was so happy. My daughter is now in love with boba. We both had teas and split the pork n'roll vermicelli bowl. They have a few tables set up and it was a gorgeous day so we ate outside. There's also a park about a block away, so if the tables are full you can always eat there. This is one of my favorite places in the Burgh.
google avatar

Rachel Minhua W.

Yelp
If you're ever craving banh mi, viet flavors or just a hoagie/sandwich, do yourself a favor and get it here. You cannot go wrong unless you hate banh mi, viet food or sandwiches. (If you do then why are you even reading this yelp review??) Solid spot for banh mi. The bread was crispy, ingredients fresh, flavors on point. My only regret is not getting another one...or two.
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
I just wish there were "6" stars so I could give them more of a compliment. How many events and special days and good time have we celebrated at this most awesome place. Every one was made "more special" by just being there. We lived other places for sure....and even in Pittsburgh we were lucky enough to find ONE that was almost as good, but, no one beats or equals the food here. Thank You all for making our "15 Wedding Anniversary" as special as it good be. We are so happy to be able to have our left overs today as well How awesome is it to go somewhere for a special day and know it will be even more special because you did! THANK YOU ALL so very much!!!!!!

Yelp
Amazing! Best banh mi I've had (comparable to Lucy's in the strip). I ordered the pork n roll banh mi, shrimp summer rolls, and strawberry lavender boba tea. Everything was outstanding. And my total came to $18, which I'd say is a steal for all of that yummy food. I love how many banh mi options they have. You can also create other meals based on the banh mi flavors (like bowls). I thought this was such a cool concept. Also the boba tea flavors are so unique. I want to try the mint boba next time! I cannot wait to go back.
google avatar

Jack M.

Yelp
This is some excellent bahn mi. The bread is well executed, soft and chewy with a light crispy edge. The beef inside was super savory and tender. It had a lot of garlic flavor. There was fresh cilantro. There were lightly macerated carrots. Everything came together so well in this sandwich.
google avatar

Yelp
the best banh mi i have ever tasted in my whole life!!! and if you do go, you have to get the viet coffee!!!

Yelp
*HIGHLY RECOMMEND* The only restaurant in Pittsburgh that I know of that specializes in Banh Mi. This place is a modern, casual place to grab good food and drinks. Although the place is small and the choices are limited, the flavors of the food is large. They sell not only many different types of banh mis but also vermicelli bowls and rice bowls versions. I have tried basically all of them and these are my top choices: *Viet Special - classic original cold cut Banh mi *Xa Xiu - inspired by Chinese roasted pork dish *Drunken Beef - Marinated beef And their drinks are great too. They have lots of flavors and topping, my favorite is the kumquat pea flower with aloe. Be sure to follow them on Facebook because they have speciality nights where they serve classic Vietnamese dishes aside from Banh Mi such as Pho and Bun Bo Hue *VERDICT* I would go back over and over again. Definitely a comfort food spot.

Yelp
What a sandwich! I love Bahn Mi, and I love Bahn Mi's. Definitely crave worthy for sure. We have been here twice and both times we had a seriously delicious sandwich and a comparably delicious shrimp summer roll. Both times I had the pork belly bahn mi or xa xiu banh mi, which is absolutely delectable. The bread is nice and sturdy but not too hard, while the perfectly seasoned pork belly and crunchy, acidic pickled vegetables play nicely with the fattiness of the pork. The fresh cilantro on top just really ties this sandwich together. All I can really say is I am sad I am not eating one right now.

Yelp
Bubble tea ...if you have never tried go to Banh Mi and tea first because this place does it right Squishy chewy perfect tapioca bubbles You want them nice and fresh so many lovely tea flavors and combos their veggie banh Mi is toasty goodness in a bun their service is always friendly there is a counter to sit at or tables this is my favorite bubble tea in the burgh parking in this neighborhood can sometimes be a hassle ...if your a bubble tea lover its worth finding a spot

Yelp
They say there is no lunch that is free, And this one will cost seven fifty, But it's worth every penny, Cuz like Forrest loved Jenny, You'll love every bite of Banh Mi. The drinks here are damn good as well, Made with skill and with love, I can tell, In each sip you will revel, And if Barbie's the devil, Then I always want to be in hell. Pittsburgh has some fantastic meals, But no surprise when Fox E reveals, This is Pitt's best Viet sandwich, And I'm Barbie's fave man which, Means I get to take off her heels. I know most men are jealous of me, Because I'm semi-dating Barbie, She said, take my V-Card, Then go hit the gym hard, And then take me to Banh Mi & Ti. What to get: Banh Mi & Drinks. What about the Ti?!: Those are the drinks, genius. This place keeps giving me warnings and more warnings and "final warnings" for all of my public lewdness and obnoxiousness on their property. They also keep getting tea spillages, and are trying to figure out how to stop all future tea spillages. I don't understand why they don't just Ban Me & Tea from their establishment. Some of the nicest people I've ever been served by in Pittsburgh, and easily the best Boba drinks and Vietnamese sandwiches in town - by a distance. Gorgeous little cafe and everyone should put it on their Pitt to-try list. Some Vietnamese sandwiches use Bad Meat & Tea but this place does not. It's perfect. BM&T is the kind of place that Pittsburgh has been crying out for for a very long time. I enjoyed the Boba drinks for sure - up there with the best I've had in Pitt, although not as good as others elsewhere - but the Banh Mi sandwich was exceptional and easily my favourite in Pittsburgh, and in PA. It was absolutely delicious. I could eat 20 more of them probably. In fact I think I'm going to go back there right now and do exactly that. People are always like "let's listen to USA For Africa and drink coffee." I'm like, no f***ing way. I prefer Band Aid & Tea. I had the milk tea, which was good, and Barbie had the pea flower drink (the pretty one with purple and yellow, for Instagram), and she adores pea flower drinks and loved it. I thought hers tasted yummylicious too. It also helps that this place is run by some of the nicest people in the world. I will be back here every single time I'm in Pittsburgh. The reviewers that gave this place top marks were absolutely right. A special mention to Ahmad A, now in Chicago, who insisted I come here. He was damn right, too. This place is Vietnamese Paradise in Pittsburgh. It's absolutely wonderful and probably the best Vietnamese place we've been to in Pittsburgh. 90 and all of Pennsylvania. The service is wonderful as is be excellent the core and the spectacular sandwiches and drinks are on another level. We will definitely be back here every time we come to Pittsburgh. I can't say that it's the best bubble tea in the city but is definitely right up there. Find me Whispering her Pittsburgh colors as usual and representing in a wonderful way. I couldn't really have enjoyed this experience anymore and we hung out here for a very long time David Duchovny had an affair with me while he was married to Leoni. I told him, you don't have to choose between us bro. You can just Bang Me & Tea. But yeah. Come here. ASAP.

Yelp
I randomly chose this spot being new to hanging out in Lawrenceville. I ordered the Banh Mi Bo Kho, a Lavender flavored milk tea, and the Cafe Sua Da, which is a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. At first, I found the ordering process annoying as they only had take-out and I was told to pull my mask up. I will add that they are absolutely correct in enforcing their policies to keep everyone safe. Not sure if it was my mood or if indeed it is an annoyance for others as well, but it is hard to not get annoyed when someone tells you to pull up your mask, even though they are right in doing so. I got my food and ate at one of the tables on the outdoor patio. At first I didn't like my dish as it seemed bland and, since the noodles were separate, they first had to wade in the stew long enough to be sufficiently palatable. The beef however, was amazingly tender, probably the most tender beef I've had. The lavender milk tea was amazing and close to the best I've had. The Sua Da coffee was also very good and had just the right amount of sweetness to it to balance the caffeine kick. When I went home and had the leftovers of the Bo Kho, it tasted much better. At first I was going to give a lower rating, but when I took everything into consideration, including the very nice outdoor seating they had overseeing Butler Street, I can give it a respectable four star rating.

Yelp
The Bahn Mi and Garden rolls were delicious and the service was superb! No indoor seating as space is very small and it was raining so we ate in the car. Would definitely recommend. First Vietnamese food we've found in Pittsburgh. Pretty happy with our experience. Looking forward to trying other food in the area.

Yelp
After visiting Banh Mi & Ti so many times, I can't believe I have yet to write a review! A while ago, while visiting my favorite pho place, I found out that her and the owner of Banh Mi & Ti were related. My favorite pho and Banh mi place! Every time I visit here, I get the Banh mi (of course) and have tried their summer rolls, boba and coffee. I want to try their bowls but I can seem to stray from the delicious hoagie-ish meal. The Xa Xiu is my favorite to get. I've tried the Viet Special but I found it to be drier than the Xa Xiu and doesn't compete in flavor. I also love how they have a little paper bag for the banh mi to go it. It makes it so much easier to eat and you make less of a mess. The viet coffee is so good, it really feels like you're treating yourself when drinking it. I always end up craving food from here about once a week and make the trek to Lawrenceville.

Yelp
Wow, 1,700, Wow. This is review 1,700. I'm always up to trying something new. I am not one to shy away from anything (that is if it's within what I am allowed to eat). When my better half suggested we stop here for a bite to eat, I was down for that. I have never had Vietnamese food before in my life. I have heard many people talking about how satisfying it is and was actually a little excited to give it a try. Not sure how we did this but we showed up at just the right time. There were people inside already, but when we entered we had no wait at all. We walked up to the counter and started to look over the menu. Within minutes we placed our order and found ourselves a seat. Looking around you find that they went with a simple design. It feels crisp and clean in here and very welcoming. The section in the back has a few tables that you can choose to sit at or use the wall bar area to enjoy your meal. They have t-shirts for sale in here as well for promotion of the place. Do not know the pricing on them, but they come in white, black and grey. After looking around for a bit my sandwich and drink arrived, looking quite inviting I must say. The bread was perfect, strong enough to hold the sandwich together but not hard enough to cut your mouth when you bite into it. The meat was delicious. But what I loved about the sandwich, and you can call me weird because of this, was the cilantro. I love the taste of cilantro. It reminds me of freshness. It reminds me of good food. So, Banh Mi & Ti, you got me...you got me good. You made me fall in love with your food because of some cilantro. I will definitely be back to indulge again. But wait, there's more. My tea, my god was it good. I have just recently reintroduced tea to my system so anytime I go anyplace I try the tea. I opted for the green tea with strawberry. It seems an odd combination, but it worked. Those little bubbles bursting with flavor making it that much more enjoyable. Such a great place and a great introduction to Vietnamese food for me.

Yelp
I have had this place on my radar for a while now and am very grateful to have finally tried it out! We came here over the weekend with some of our friends, and they were telling us how amazing the food was here. Needless to say, it definitely lived up to the hype. My girlfriend and I split a classy chick banh mi, which came with chopped chicken with elm grass & garlic and topped with pickled carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, and homemade mayo in a fresh roll. I would have added the sriracha and jalapeños as well, but my girlfriend isn't a fan of spicy food, so I will try that next time. But, the chicken and the toppings were so naturally flavorful themselves that I think the spice would have taken away from that experience. We also split a the drunken beef rice bowl, which was ground beef infused with white wine and sweet onions on top of a bed of steamed jasmine rice with sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and served with Vietnamese scallion oil. The bowl was super flavorful and it went down way too quickly because of how good it was. Lastly, we split the shrimp summer rolls that were served with a dipping sauce that paired really nicely with it. We also tried the Cafe Sua Da, which is a Vietnamese iced coffee served with condensed milk. It was bitter and sweet at the same time, and my girlfriend was obsessed with it! Everything here was super fresh and delicious! We can't wait to be back in the area to stop by Banh Mi & Ti!
