Not the worst and not the best. Ordered the grilled bbq beef and cold cut. The bread seemed a bit stale? I don’t know about you, but I love a freshly baked crusty bread when I order banh mi. The beef was cold and I had asked for both orders to be spicy, but there was barely any spice in any of the subs. The cold cuts were sliced a little too thick for my liking. I just didn’t taste much flavour in either of the bahn mi. It was my first time here and I wanted to try two different subs, but I didn’t even bother finishing the cold cut one. Just took a couple of bites and didn’t enjoy it.

The service was good and fast. We ordered the beef sandwich and the BBQ pork and they asked if we wanted them spicy. The beef was not spicy, and the bread for the sandwich was a bit harder than the other restaurant around the corner. They put a nice amount of meat in the sandwich and it tasted good. Overall this place is good.

Back again for the assorted Banh Mi, It's always good and tasty. You can't only eat one. So I always buy at least 2 of them. They have 2 locations, pretty much right next to each other. You need to go to the one that says take-out. That's where you will find these sandwiches. Have a look at my pictures and press the like button! If you like what I do,press the follow button to see what I do next! First time here, my friend recommended it to me. I got 2 assorted Banh Mi and a tray of Banh Cucn. All that was only $12.50! Very good and tasty! As you see in my pictures, they have a lot more to offer besides sandwiches. They even have fresh spring rolls there, it smelt so good when I walked in! I will be back for sure to try more things out! You should too!

The small Vietnamese takeout spot in Mississauga is tucked away at the back/west side of an unassuming commercial building setback from Dundas St. W. It’s a bit hard to find but so worth seeking out. The owners are delightful; super helpful, friendly and very proud of their offerings. They serve up some of the best traditional Vietnamese street food we’ve found anywhere in the GTA. Their Banh Mi sandwiches use a perfect bread and delicious meats, pickled veggies and herbs (super fresh cilantro). At only $5.50 they are exactly what they’re meant to be - an inexpensive, takeaway snack for people on the go (*in Vietnam Banh Mi are a ubiquitous breakfast food for people on the move). Our favourite so far is the #3 Thit Cha (pork roast with Vietnamese Bologna). Their fresh rolls are equally delicious. The shrimp are delicately cooked and sweet, the rice paper and rice noodles are always fresh, and the crispy lettuce and holy basil are crispy and fragrant. The hoisin-based dipping sauce is always on point as well. Don’t miss out on these. Beyond these two commonly recognizable standards they serve up a range of items that are not so commonly found in Toronto (but are common to the street food of Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi). Their sticky rice dumplings stuffed with mung bean paste (Banh It Tran) and served with sweet dipping sauce is a flavour and texture extravaganza. And their Banh Tieu (hollow Vietnamese doughnuts) stuffed with chicken (or beef) are delicious, hefty snacks (or meals if you eat one on your own at a sitting) that are perfect for noshing on long walks or bike rides. There are so many other delicious foods to choose from here and we’re determined to get back whenever we can to eat through their selection. *Note: These folks have two locations. This review is for their Mississauga location. Their second location is at 538 Dundas St. W. - just west of Spadina in Toronto’s OG Chinatown.

A Vietnamese take out that’s clean and reasonable. I am not familiar with Vietnamese food apart from Pho and Banh Mi. I did see a list of delicious items. I preferred to stick with the Banh Mi. The sandwich was indeed delicious. The staff was very friendly and the service was prompt.

Google
My new favorite banh mi in the GTA. Came here on Thanksgiving Monday and it was opened. I've been a long time customer of Saigon Bakery which is in the same plaza facing Dundas. A friend recently told me about Ba Le which all her friends preferred and I had to give it a try. I got the OG assorted cold cut for $5. I felt that their banh mi had more patte than Saigon, which added more flavour and made it tastier. I did a side by side comparison and noticed Ba Le's baguette was drenched in soy sauce which I felt was overpowering and overly satly (could have been a one off). Overall I really liked the flavour and the taste of this banh mi. Highly recommend and I think I'll be coming here more often than Saigon.

I got the BBQ pork. I was pleasantly surprised with the spice, and the meat and fillings were plentiful too.

Google
Must visit place when you craving for quick bite of Vietnamese food or banh mi Banh mi is vietnamese baguette filled with a variety of ingredients including meat, pickled vegetables & chilipiper. Healthy & full meal on the run. Overall experience; the service was a bit slow since there is only 2 people working but there is a line Vietnamese Ice Coffee: 8/10 - light coffee taste compare to normal vietnamese coffee Price: super affordable, they also have a broad selection of dessert, quick grab meal, vietnamese instant noodle The place is super clean Cons: there is no place for dining in

Yelp
I'm used to banh mi sandwiches from Nguyen Huong, which is a high benchmark. Happy to say that the banh mi here are excellent! Hard to say which place I'd prefer but they definitely make a competent Viet sandwich here. They also had small pork spring rolls for 80 cents and I found them to be tasty and not too oily. I'd recommend you try!

Yelp
We came here a few times and tried both the assorted meat sub and xiu mai( meatball) sub several times. Our first experience , we hailed this our go to sub place , the baguette was freshly toasted and xiu mai was prefect. That same day we also tried a Banh mi from Saigon bakery on the opposite side of the plaza and this place beat it by a mile. After coming here a few times, I've concluded this place good but inconsistent. For example today , we bought three Banh mi to go. The first assorted sub- the fillings were good but baguette tasted a bit tough and old . Still delicious! The second Banh mi we bought was xiu mai , at first bite, it tasted delicious yet different from the past purchases. We were also surprised it didn't have the normal ketchup sauce it came with . After a few bites , we realized the ketchup sauce was there just not spread through out the baguette making some parts super saucy! Despite the inconsistency, I still would give this place a 4. The staff are really friendly and helpful , Banh mis still taste great and excellent value . ( each Banh mi was $3.5).

Yelp
Tasty, fast, well priced and I will return often as this made for a great snack. Best veggie sandwich that I have had

Yelp
Such a friendly family owned shop! The banh mi was full and they are very generous with the filling

Yelp
Small little shop on the corner of Dundas. They sell one of the best banh mi's (viet subs)!! All the subs range between $3-3.5 each. I usually get the assorted sub. The baguette is always fresh and crispy. The veggies are also really fresh too. The meat is good. Their subs include all the ingredients which makes it taste really authentic. Besides selling viet subs they also sell a variety of other Vietnamese dishes and desserts. Moreover, they also can help you send money back home if you have family members in Vietnam.

Yelp
This has always been my go-to location for banh mi for the past decades even when they used to be $1 each! I love how they have many various selection to choose from. I always opt for the assorted. You can add chili pepper in the sub or ask for it on the side. My vegetarian friend thought they couldn't eat Vietnamese Banh Mi until I saw they had a vegetarian Banh Mi with tofu (Banh Mi Chay). It was pretty tasty and I couldn't tell it was vegetarian! I will be ordering this again.

Yelp
This place is recommended. better than the bun meh place just around the corner. at least I didn't feel sick after. they have just the right amount of meat and fresh bun. recommend the extra parsley.

Yelp
At Banh Mi Ba Le they inspired me to try new things such as their Banh Mi Chay. That's why I became a vegan I realized how so many animals suffer and that they deserve the right to live freely. This Banh Mi made me understand that they're so many delicious vegan things to try in the world that tastes so good. Keep up the great work

Yelp
It's a such a small place on the side of a plaza which may be hard to find. But honestly, their subs are just amazing! It's the best I've ever tried in Mississauga. It's fresh as they make it right in front of you. I've only ever tried the cold cuts, which I do recommend everyone try as it is delicious and I do believe it is the majority of what everyone orders from here. I've also tried the BBQ Pork which is just as great as the cold cuts. I love the baguettes that they use, it's not soggy/stale as you would expect to get from an Asian supermarket. The best part is the subs are super cheap! They charge about $3.00/sub which is awesome because then I get to order 5 at a time....you know to take for lunch at work too ;) The restaurant itself is super small, not really meant to sit and eat. More like a takeout place. So if you're looking for some great tasting, non soggy/stale, and fresh Banh Mi, I definitely recommend you come here and support a local business!

Yelp
Solid banh mi shop tucked in on the side of a strip mall with another banh mi shop around the corner - so you know it's going to be good. Definitely a family operation, as it felt like I was walking into a Vietnamese family's living room with the dad watching soaps on his laptop by the counter. Their special (assorted cold-cuts) is $3. All the ingredients were fresh including the bun, and it was a good filling/baguette ratio. As expected, the lady making my sandwich asked me if I watned it 'spicy' - when I got the sub home, I wasn't sure if she simply forgot to make my banh mi spicy... or her definition of spicy was to wave a jalapeno over my banh mi for 5 seconds. Despite that, solid banh mi shop - nothing to complain to about.

Yelp
My favorite go place for banh mi. Fresh French rolls baked on site filled with fresh veges ,sliced ham, head cheese , chicken roll, pâté and mayo. So bad for you yet taste so good. I always get the double meat option for a $1 more. Cheers.

Yelp
This place makes hands down the best BBQ Pork Banh Mi I've ever had! They're simple yet so good. Mmmmm. They're cheap too!

Yelp
Authenticity at its best! Everything is just perfect! The baguette has the right crunch with a light and airy texture on the inside. They're very generous with the quality cold cuts. In addition to the pepper and soy sauce added to the banh mi; this is not something other stores would add! The pate is mixed with butter, adding moisture and more goodness to the banh mi. Lastly, the pickled carrots are cut to the right size, not the huge chunky ones you get at other places. I guess the only thing that's missing is the daikon. Nevertheless, a 5 star banh mi !

Yelp
Very fresh buns and steamed rice rolls w pork filling ( if you can get there early enough to get it).

Yelp
The one in Mississauga is not as good. I prefer the location in GTA Chinatown. I like their banh mi but it's more expensive comparing to Nguyen Huong

Yelp
Nice little banh mi place near my office. It's kind of in a horrible location, out of the way behind a corner in a plaza without much traffic on its facing side. Came here the other day for lunch to see if it was any good compared to what I'm used to. I can say that it was definitely good fare. Could use a tad more filling (not even the expensive stuff, but veggies even). I had a chicken and a pork banh mi. I'll be going back to try their pork bun for sure, and maybe expand upon a couple of the options they have for the sandwiches. Hopefully more people will try it out, because a busier place is a fresher place!

Yelp
This Banh Mi place is in the same plaza as Banh Mi Saigon, and honestly they are good but aren't as good as Banh Mi Saigon. Banh Mi Ba Le has a better heat to meat ratio then Saigon but I feel as if the actual Banh Mi isn't as crunchy nor is the sauce comparable. Still a good alternative, and I'd recommend it if Saigon runs out or closes early (which happens quite often)! :)

Yelp
Terrific vietnamese sub for $3, recommend ask them to toast if you're gonna eat it right away
