I barely give recommendations but this one is my exception. Oh dear, the “Bot Chien” is FIREEEE🔥🔥🔥🔥 as an saigonese. I got deliciously yummy coffe if u want to try something new taste then give it a try with” ca phe muoi” ( salty coffee). The auntie is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious but she is barely know english could not change the true that she’s awesome ever. just let them know how texture u want to have. I even walked for 20 mins just only to get my fav coffee place. I hope I could try more in future!!! Shoutout for the Goats of my heart ❤️

The best banh mi I've had thus far. I love banh mi and have had many from all over Cali and the east coast, and this place tops them all. They're generous with their superbly flavorful filling, and the bread has a nice crisp while maintaining the perfect amount of chewiness. The inside of the bread is lathered with sauce without making the sandwich soggy. It's magic. I tend to go for the more authentic Vietnamese ham banh mi, which they nail with their thick yet tender slices —just ready to pamper your taste buds. The staff is super kind and sweet, and take their time ensuring that everything is crafted with quality. These sisters mean business and they deserve yours.

I am Vietnamese so growing up I had the luxury of home cooked food. But I don’t live near my family as an adult, and I have been craving bun rue, which has been really hard to find, until now. The bun rue here is delicious, similar to what my family would make. Highly recommend this restaurant. Plus the server Kelly was super nice.

Ordered the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi, Vietnamese Egg Iced Coffee, and Sugarcane Juice. I am quite familiar with Vietnamese cuisine in this area, so my feedback is intended to offer a fair comparison and highlight areas for improvement. The bánh mì unfortunately did not meet expectations. The bread was overly crunchy, and the portion of meat was noticeably smaller than what comparable restaurants provide, despite being a dollar more expensive. Across the three sandwiches ordered, the meat-to-vegetable ratio felt unbalanced as well. Both beverages were extremely sweet, which overwhelmed their intended flavors. I appreciate the effort and the hustle behind this business. My review is offered constructively and in hopes that these adjustments might help the restaurant stand out among strong local competition.

Everything was perfect! The best Banh Mi in the world! My friend and I are traveling in the area and came to this place two days in a row. A must-visit spot!!! Highly recommended! 💕

You have no idea how happy I am to have a banh mi shop open up on this side of Dorchester Ave!! The space is bright, airy and clean. There are is a table and few counter seats by the front window to sit and enjoy your meal. The sandwiches here use super fresh ingredients. The bread just shatters when you bite into it. They are very generous with their fillings. I’m usually a beef banh mi girl but my favorite sandwich here is the traditional Vietnamese cold cut. It’s packed with tasty meat and something is just extra delicious about their sandwich. The vermicelli with beef is super tasty too. Owner is nice and friendly. I have been bringing all my friends to my new favorite bahn mi shop!!

Ordered the Bánh Mì Bò Nướng (Grilled Beef) for $8.50, which is a bit more expensive than another place I usually go to but still around average. Truthfully, I would rate it a 4.5 because the beef was dry, but I’ll round up to a 5 because it might have been a bad batch, and I liked everything else. I don’t know if the baguette is made in-house or if they source from a good manufacturer, but I thought it was very good: flaky on the outside but chewy on the inside without tasting stale. I also liked that the đồ chua was more sour than sweet (some places add too much sugar when pickling). They don’t use a lot of butter here, which is fine because the beef was flavorful.

Ordered the vegetarian bahn mi and egg iced coffee. It was very delicious and incredibly flavorful! Sometimes tofu bahn mi can be bland but this had a delicious sauce and everything was incredible at a great price.

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could, amazing banh mi (have sampled a few types and they're all great), the drinks are phenomenal, and Vivian brings such a joyful light to the whole ordering process. The space itself is open and light, and you don't get that sense of panic like one night at other more crowded establishments. This place is truly a gem, once you go you'll find yourself going again and again.

Love love love the vegetarian pork banh mi sandwich, i actually dream about it. Always friendly staff and great consistency with the food.

The banh mi was really good. It did not have too much sauce but the flavor was really deep. The vegetables were really fresh and the meat was not too dry. We got the pork belly banh mi sandwich which was good. The bread was really crispy and went well with the sandwich. It was not too pricy so it is a great place to come and grab food quickly for lunch. They had other interesting food which I would like to try next time.

The grilled beef banh mi is delicious and stuffed with lots of vegetables. The sandwich is made to order, but the price point ($9) is a bit higher than I expected. Service is friendly and quick. They offer a variety of banh mi, rice plates, and noodle dishes. They even have Dominican food as there is a collaboration with another restaurant down the street. There is a table with several stools, and some bar seating as well. It is relatively clean, but the bathroom was not working on the day that I went.

Picked up a veg bahn mi and some crispy egg rolls at open streets! The staff were super friendly (even though they were set up outside in the rain) and food was very reasonably priced. The tofu in the sandwich was excellently flavored and cooked, really pulling the sandwich together. Will definitely be back for more to check the rest of the shop!

My new go-to for bánh mì Went here to try it out because it's a walkable distance and BaLe tends to have a long line. I'd say it's comparable to BaLe's sandwiches. They stuff the bánh mì and don't don't skimp out on the meats or veggies. The flavor/smell is a bit lighter than BaLe (I think BaLe tends to be pretty potent in their use of fish sauce, which I do love, but my breath ends up staying like that all day) Service is quick, the store is small but open with a few seats to sit at if you want to order other dishes to eat. The only reason why it's not getting 5 stars is because the baguette was not crisp at the time. I had to throw it in the toaster oven for a few minutes.

Wanted to try this new spot in Dorchester and it is a welcome addition to the area. There wasn't a long line, like there is in Ba Le, and the service was great. They suggested some drinks we try, they all sounded good especially the pandan soy milk, but due to wifey's dairy allergy, we thought it was best not to risk it. Usually there's condensed milk mixed in with stuff like that. I apologize in advance for continuing to compare this place to Ba Le because Ba Le is the standard for banh mi in Dorchester. Their banh mi's are huge and are busting with all of the ingredients from the meat to the pickled carrots and daikon. Their price is standard at roughly $6 per sandwich, but you are getting a little more bang for your buck at this spot. The bread is how it should be, with a nice crunchy crust and soft on the inside to absorb the pate and other items. We got the main banh mi staples, the cold cut and the beef. The cold cut was solid and good, but the beef is way better than Ba Le's. Why you ask? I never order the beef at Ba Le because their beef is tough and dry, getting close to scarily close to cardboard in my opinion. This beef banh mi was tender, clearly not over cooked and was seasoned with lime juice that balances the pate in the sandwich. The place was very clean. Unlike Ba Le, they don't have a robust hot food selection but have a pretty robust drink options. Like most Dorchester spots, parking is street parking on busy Dot Ave.

After my first order her Banh mi in last summer at the community event , we got hooked. Our favorite is grilled pork bánh mì and the charcoal flavor is there , just like how I grew up in Vietnam. The meat is not dry or fatty, it's just the perfects texture and marinated. I am so happy that they bring it up on the menu to serve this community. Recently , my new favorite is Banh Cuon. I tried other 3 places in Dorchester and none of them met my personal and experienced liking, since Banh cuon is my No 1 breakfast choice. The right Banh cuon has to be see-thru thin that you can see the filling. The fish sauce has to be not too strong and salty that you can dip rolls of Banh cuon and taste nước mắm at the end. Hers meet the authentic standard. Give it a try and talk to her about your experience. Place is clean and friendly staff. The highlight of this place should be Banh Mi, but it's not. Butter is tasteless, pâté is okay, and meats are bland (even the grilled ones) or a day old or more. I have read some of the reviews that had complaints about having too much fish sauce on their grilled beef or pork Banh mi. I would confirm that it's not the case for me, I'm actually complaining that i can't even taste it or not enough of it! Hahaha Overall, this place is okay and probably needs more time to either improve their ingredients or make it better, especially if they want to compete against Banh Mi Ba Le. I still think Banh Mi Ba Le is the best in Boston, but hoping to find one equally the same or better. They have potential, but not quite there.

It is clean and organized here. Banh mi was fresh and hot. I got the cold cut and the beef. The beef was tender and tasty. Many other banh mi places just give you the cold banh mi sitting there all day. Prices are reasonable compared to king do and ba le who is charging $8 for a banh mi. It is about 6.50 here. Deducted a star because staff seems a bit hostile towards their co-workers. I overheard a worker complaining to their friend about their other co-worker messing up on an order.

Delicious food and amazing service! They also offer lots of vegetarian options and their Vietnamese Iced coffee is 10/10.

We hot a tofu banh mi and pork shrimp fresh rolls at a stall in front of the restaurant during Dorchester Open Streets. The food was excellent!

New Bánh Mì place in Dorchester! Super authentic banh mi's with some fusion twists if you're into that. The restaurant was so clean and new looking. It's in a great area with lots to do but it's also a great spot to stop for lunch. They also have other options beside bánh mì. One of the nice aunties gave us some Bánh Ran too and they were so fresh and yummy. Price is reasonable for the area. Support this local business !

I tried the cold cut and grilled beef sandwich. The sandwiches are about $.50 cheaper than other places. I'd say compared to Bale, Bánh mi chau, Nhu Lan, this place is actually better. However, it's still not good enough to my standard. The bread did not taste fresh, it was like one day old bread. The grilled beef sandwich had a decent amount of meat but it was drenched with fish sauce. I still had the fish sauce smell on my hands after washing them a few times. The cold cut sandwich had good flavor but there was just too little meat compared to the bread. There were only two pieces of cold meat (thit ngui) and 1 piece of the mystery meat (cha lua). There was just too much bread that I ended up eating only one side of the bread with the meat and tossed the other side away. While this also what happens at other sandwich places so I can't completely blame them for the lack of meat but it's also one of the reasons I don't get Vietnamese sandwich as often as I used to anymore so maybe it's something for them to reconsider, their competition isn't just other Vietnamese sandwich places but also other type of food. Compared to other sandwich places in the area, they do make better sandwich with better price. But do they make good sandwich? The answer would be No. I'd go there occasionally if I crave sandwich since they are close but if I had a bit more time, I'd rather go to Quincy for better Vietnamese sandwich
