This is the place to enjoy good food & affordable. No pretentiousness to it. Nice employers & a calm atmosphere. They've got a unique combination of food. The classic Bahn MI is good. The iced coffee is good, & some other dishes are tasty. Enjoy

Tried this place out for the first time since it is very close to home. Both employees who greeted us were very friendly! The place is small, and there is currently some construction outside, which made it seem like it was closed. I'm glad we went in and tried it anyway! The food was delicious and the pricing is sliggtly lower than other places! I ordered a shrimp spring roll and it was very good with the peanut sauce. I also ordered the chicken pho. The broth was flavorful on its own before I added my jalapeños and Sriracha. I wish I knew it was going to have bean sprouts added. Usually bean sprouts, mint, jalapeños, lime, and cilantro are on the side. Regardless, it was good. My husband and I split a Vietnamese iced coffee which was perfect in my opinion. Overall, I would definitely come again and try out more items from the menu, like their banh mi!

The food was so good! Our go-to food is always Vietnamese food and we really liked this place. We've been to the fanciest place of all Vietnamese cuisine to a hole in the whole restaurant and this one is such an exemption. I recommend this place :) and this will be my go-to place before and after going to the movies! Went here on our way to the cinemas. There were only 2 people working so please be patient. You have to order and pay before you sit down, and it reminded me of home in Asia. It's a small business and they cooked the food really well. To future customers, just be effing patient :) yall are adults. 4 suggestions: 1. add a music in the background 2. cover the storage area or declutter the area on the left side of the cash register. 3. add another staff - to man the cash register and the establishment while the owner and his cook prepare the food. 4. fix the lights please 🙏🏻

This is definitely your man Vietnamese restaurant freshly made spring rolls delicious tasting pie freshly made Bonse. The bread is perfect with that crunchy outside but soft inside the grilled pork was succulent really well flavored don’t let the exterior of the retail shop which is right now getting a facelift in July 2025, deter you from stopping into this place nor let the small queen atmosphere deter you from the great meal that you’re about to have. I highly recommend and look forward to going back again

The food is made fresh when ordered and adjusted for my preferences. The portions are very large for the price. Everything was so flavorful, fresh veggies, I just wish my Vietnamese coffee was a bit stronger but this place is my Gotoo since moving to Houston a month ago. The owner is very very nice and remembers customers like a community☺️. Sooo yummy 😋

Food was fantastic. Hubby tried the pork noodle bowl and I had the tofu noodle bowl. We also tried the shrimp spring rolls. Fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked. Price was reasonable too. I also got a Thai tea and it was refreshing with great flavor and not too much ice. Delicious and I highly recommend it.

Prices are decent but the pho broth was not flavorful. The noodles were too thin and seemed almost overcooked. I got the combination and it did not have enough meat. Im not a big fan of bean sprouts but the bowl came with alot of them already in it. The mint was very wilted. The spring rolls were falling apart and the peanut sauce tasted like it had too much vinegar in it. The only Vietnamese sit down restaurant that I have been to, where you pay before you are served. There were no chop sticks or soup spoons at the table or any table by me. When I asked for them the guy said they were very busy yet I was the only one eating in. I was really hoping to like this place because it got some decent reviews.

I made a to go order today. Couple of Banh Mi, wings, vermicelli bowl and a Thai Tea. The service was great. Really down to earth and nice. The food was great as well. Get the Pork Bahn Mi. They do a really good one and it's super cheap! Vermicelli bowl was really good as well.

Love their food great mom and pop shop. One of my go to lunch spots for sureee. Service is good ambiance is okay. Thai teas are good too

Usually when one orders banh mi outside of Chinatown, it's a premium price and in more contemporary setting. This is not the case here! It's a small operation with a laid back interior and supplies stacked near the bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised that one can purchase a $5 banh mi here. Be careful when ordering though. I ordered a banh mi with bbq pork and ham, thinking it was thit nuong, but instead it was sliced pork. Turns out the grilled pork is the marinated pork I was seeking. Oops. I ended up ordering the correct one afterwards. The bread was nice and warm and flakey on the outside. Perfect! The meat was on the salty side but all right. I couldn't taste the pate I ordered as an add on, and there was barely any of it present. Ah well. There was one man at the counter, probably the owner that kept disappearing into the kitchen while customers were waiting in line. Perhaps he was training the other employee? I'm not sure, but it definitely slowed down the process. Their menu also offers rice plates and pho at a decent price, so perhaps I'll be back to try one of those one day.

The food was mediocre, asked for extra meatballs for my pho, I was given a total of 4. Everything you touch here is sticky and filthy. By the bathroom they have a bunch of boxes and crap stacked on top of each other that has a bunch of roaches. Owner is very rude and loud. Please save yourself the headache go somewhere else. I recommend Pho Bo on highway 8

So this place is a little spot that may or may not be known but man but for those who do they know the food is delicious and cooked pretty fast it's usually like a 15 min wait..... I love how nice the owners are there been many times I go durning lunch and they offer me something to drink and ask me not to rush and just take my break there.... Very nice people... again the food is delicious and fresh...

I went in for lunch...the male manager was rude and unprofessional. Did not enjoy my experience at all!! If I could leave 0 stars I would... it wasn't busy so his attitude was definitely unnecessary

Great tasting Vietnamese food for a modest price, but the catch is and be careful of ordering the Pho as it contains very little meat. I recommend ordering the extra meat option so you don't get disappointed. The service is very personal and friendly though.

This place is in My top 3 for tofu Bahn mi (other competitors were on the west coast and in Savannah). Their tofu banh mi has an aromatic and sharp ginger flavor and is served on a warm, fluffy roll. For $5, you can't beat the price. I also indulged in the tofu rolls and the Vietnamese coffee, both of which were enjoyable. The place itself is a no frills restaurant. I went around 2 pm, so it was slow and service was prompt.

Came here randomly craving a banh mi. I can tell they do a lot of take out orders. Don't be shy and ring the bell (once) when you don't see anyone out front. I ordered the fried tofu lemongrass banh mi sandwich and some spring rolls (2). Only cost $4.99 and $4.49 respectively. The banh mi was big. The bread tasted fresh - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They also put smothered onions inside the sandwich which gave it a flavor boost as well. Great value. The Vietnamese coffee was very reasonably priced as well at $4.49 and came in a 24 oz cup. The food was so good that I also ordered a fried tofu lemongrass vermicelli bowl to-go for a friend. The gentleman with the glasses who looks likes he works out at the gym was very nice and prompt as well. I would definitely come back.

This place is near by my dermatologist and I just stopped in because I was starving. Really great tofu banh mi with fried egg to go. Came out in less than 5 minutes - I was very impressed! Also got a Vietnamese coffee- pretty good but wish it was bigger!

I don't know why or how this place doesn't have 5 stars but it should. I ordered two banh mi and a rice bowl thing. Let me first say this. To find a banh mi for $6 in 2024 is absolutely insane. And then a bowl for $10? Come on. These are pre-Biden prices, which I wish we could get back again. The taste was also amazing. To have food this cheap and THAT good is a tough combo, but they nailed it. I ordered delivery and it was at my door in 35 minutes. Amazing. Great service. I will so be ordering from here again.

This was hands down, the best meal my family has ever had in Houston. Our hotel was just up the highway and I've been wanting a good banh mi for quite a while, so my husband suggested stoping here for dinner. PHENOMENAL. I had the beef lemon grass banh mi, my husband the beef lemongrass vermicelli bowl, and my sons the short rib rice bowl and the pork rice bowl. The boys (11, 13) couldn't stop raving about it. None of us were exactly hungry due to a late lunch, but we needed something for dinner. They finished their plates. We also ordered the pork fried rice since another reviewer raved about the rice. It was out of this world and was as good if not better than my favorite Thai fried rice at a Thai place in San Antonio. The opener was the friendliest man ever. Finally, after years of searching (no exaggeration), we have found a restaurant in Houston that we NEED to return to!

I loved my plate of food! I ordered one of the rice plates with chicken. It was super fresh, and great portioning. I also tried the banh mi. The bread was soft and veggies were crisp and delicious. There was only one person working the store, and he was really nice, but probably would have benefited from another person helping to run the store, since there were quite a few customers on a Saturday. It was also a bit warm in the the restaurant, but the worker pointed us toward the table with the AC unit right above us. I saw many people ordering to go, so I know the food is a hit in the area. Since this location is close to my house, I will be ordering take out from here frequently! Highly recommend if you are looking for no frills viet food. The food is also really modestly price, especially compared to other Vietnamese establishments in the area.

There is nothing more satisfying than a good and flavorful banh mi when the craving kicks in. I have tried banh mis from many many restaurants over the years, and I think this might be my favorite yet. I visited for the first time yesterday, ordering the grilled chicken banh mi. I was blown away. While a simple dish, it was oh so flavorful. The grilled chicken was tender, juicy, and oh so flavorful. The veggies were fresh and crisp. And the aioli gave it all a great flavor profile! Not to mention how soft and perfect the bread was. Ever since Les Givral's shuttered, I've been on the hunt for a banh mi that lived up to that similar simple but quality taste. I think Banh Mi N More definitely supersedes! I came in close to closing time and the gentleman working was very nice and provided such kind and quick service. The dining area is clean and the atmosphere feels cozy. Will definitely have to come back and dine in sometime. Overall, I'm happy to have found this restaurant and look forward to coming back to try some other dishes! In the meantime, my banh mi craving was definitely satisfied!

I waited 15 minutes at the counter for service and nobody ever came to the counter? Not a single person to greet you or offer you take your order? The place was dirty as every table had food on them from previous customers. I briefly sat down and there was sticky sauce on the table which I got all over my hand, after that I decided to leave.

This place is a hidden gem. The quality of the food will surprise you, sooo good. The Pho is very delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

Got the grilled pork banh mi delivered via Uber Eats last night. They fulfill orders through 7:30pm though they close at 7pm. Great tip and delicious as always! Love that it's packaged without styrofoam!

Omg how do I explain to you that I've been coming here for 2 to 3 years and I love the fried rice.. I can't eat fried rice anywhere else because the taste is not the same as in here neither is the pho his rice and the pho is the best one in all Houston I'm not lying!!! I will never ever get tired of this amazing food ! Thank you so much !!

Really unexpected, but this place is good! I live in the area and was looking for a quick lunch. Got the banh mi with combo meat (bbq pork + ham + pate) and it checked all the boxes. Bread was soft so the roof of my mouth thanks you. Meat inside was flavorful, loaded with pate & butter just how I like it. Also reasonably priced may I add. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes they have. The issue with this area is the lack of Vietnamese restaurants and the few that are here, are way overpriced, subpar food, and doing too much to change the identity of the dishes. Saigon hustle and Les baget I'm looking at yall. At banh mi n more it's refreshing to just have a chill Vietnamese restaurant with authentic dishes.

I absolutely love this place. This is my go to when I need a fast and affordable lunch at work. $5 Banh Mi's that are delicious, need I say more? The lemon grass tofu banh mi was perfectly balanced, with delicious Vietnamese aioli, fresh cilantro, pickled carrots, and jalapeños. A simple yet delicious and very reliable place. Additionally, the pho is quite good as well. Very much a place I enjoy.

This was the best pho I've ever had! Very friendly staff! The restaurant is small and quiet but the quality of food is GRAND.

The good: fresh ingredients, great service, friendly staff, egg rolls, were excellent The not so good: the vermicelli bowls were lacking in flavor. they were super bland. We added hoisin sauce and some other seasonings to make it tastey the price is right, the food is fresh, we will go back.

I been going here for a year now. It's my go to for a bhan mi. Owner is there all the time working hard to make sure your taken care of. Food is always fantastic. His teas and coffees are amazing. Not to heavy not to sweet. The atmosphere is quite and peaceful. This is easily a hidden gem in houston. If you want authentic home style Vietnamese this is it.

Good little local hole in the wall , tucked away in a strip center. I had the Pho Tai, add extra meat, although I think they forgot about the extra meat part. The broth had great flavor, and the noodles were fresh tasting. I also had the Pork Spring Rolls, these were very good, and paired well with the Fish sauce I ordered with them. Service was pretty quick as well here, but I did have to deduct a star for forgetting my extra meat for my Pho.

I love going to local mom and pop places to eat. As soon as you walk in you know the food is going to be good. Initially I came for just a bowl of pho but once I saw how much they cared about the food I added on a grilled pork Banh mi. The first bite into the banh mi and I knew I made the right decision. The pork was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the fresh cucumber, Julianne carrots and cilantro. The pho was just as great. The broth tasted similar to the one I make at home. You can taste the various spices used to make the broth. My only caveat was I wished there was more meat and had been offered bean sprouts on the side. I love lots of bean sprouts and the nutrition they provide. This is hands down a great place to eat. I highly recommend it to all.

Super nice owner, but still the same issues with the spring rolls and peanut sauce. Broth was good but there was only 4 pieces of meat in my soup and no brisket. Just not a place I'd return to.

Great little gem in a strip center. It was unexpected to be so fresh and authentic while there. I really liked it. Tried the spring rolls along with the vermicelli bowl. If concerned about social distancing maybe not the best spot. However overall you can get it to go too.

I. Am. Shook. I was ready for a Lee's Sandwich level of banh mi and half thought my delivery order to be wrong. To be fair, these expectations were mostly built up from *many* bad/incorrect Uber Eats deliveries. I was in a time crunch with about 30 minutes for lunch (including drive, purchase, parking, and eating). Instead of leaving for lunch, I Uber Eats-ed a grilled pork banh mi with pate, extra mayo, no jalapeno. From the time of delivery to arriving at my office, it only took 10-15 minutes. That's fricken amazing. The banh mi was still hot. Every modification was correct. The French bread was above par. The meat and veggies were plentiful. It's legitimately a decent sandwich. The *only* reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the grilled pork (which I'm guessing is their thit nuong), was mostly seasoned with soy sauce and didn't really have that quintessential thit nuong sweetness. If you're in the area and pressed for time, Banh Mi N More has your back. Heck, they're so quick, you might even have time to Yelp about it after.

Came in for lunch and was surprised to find the small storefront restaurant full at 1pm on a Saturday. Fresh, tasty, made to order by a hardworking dedicated owner. Highly recommend. We had the B1 Pork Banh Mi and Vietnamese iced coffee. Hit the spot and well priced.

Decent food for the price, absolute terrible customer service. 2 times in a row I ordered from here & missing items each time. I called to speak to someone about the instance & was called a liar, they said it was in the order both times, yet some how it isn't in my bag. Could've at least said sorry, or given me back $, but instead they want to yell over the phone with the kitchen chiming in. Cheers!

Mediocre bahn mi with decent flavor and too much bread with not enough filling. We tried the pork and the bbq pork bahn mis. Not really impressed. I saw the 4.5 stars and thought it was going to be much better. It should be around 3 stars so hopefully this 2 star will bring it down a smidge. The shrimp fresh rolls were tasty.

Food is always delicious! They offer reward program as well however, the cashier don't ever to give you a chance to punch in phone numbers to get rewards, and can't add it afterwards either.

I came here for the first time two days ago. Service was pretty slow. It took about 15 minutes before my order was taken at the counter. It's a very small business. However, the owner is very very nice. I ordered the grilled pork banh mi with a Thai tea to go. My total came to about $9 before tip. It wasn't too bad. I was a little disappointed with the taste though. It wasn't as flavorful as the banh mi I've had in Bellaire. What I did like was the bread wasn't so hard like their Chinatown counterparts whose bread breaks and cuts into your gums literally. If I come back, I'll try one of their other banh mi. Tip: I did notice that a lot of people had called their order in or used grubhub I believe to order in advance and pick it up in person. I would recommend doing that instead because walking in service was very slow.
