Bánh Mì Ơi

I've been pleased with my experiences at Bánh Mì Oi. The food is consistently good, and prices are fair. The interior is cute, whether you're in for a lunch for sitting for a coffee.

I really was looking forward to trying this place based on the Google reviews. First, the sign on the place is oi Cafe and not banh mi oi, which after walking by 3 times, I finally figured it out. Next, this is a pay and seat yourself place after tipping 15 %. Not a restaurant table service. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly, and food came out in 10 mins. I ordered a lemon grass beef banh mi and the beef pho soup. Then I heard the microwave go off, door open, then go off again. Red flag, I was expecting fresh, not microwave reheated. Unfortunately, the pictures online compared to what I was served was inconsistent. Overkill on the black pepper for both the banh mi and pho. Additionally, the pho broth had too much of a cloves flavor, which was overkill and deemed it not edible, so after 4 bites, I called it quits. The banh mi had better days when it was fresh. So I left this place hungry and disappointed.

We recommend their lunch specials. The host was super accomodating and the overall atmosphere in the place was pretty nice too. Gotta love the plants. Boba was decent so we'll try something else next time.

First time trying. I got the banh mi oi sub and the honeydew bubble tea. The bread was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Sub had a nice fresh taste and not greasy/oily at all. Their bubble tea is blended with ice but still very flavourful. Overall very refreshing to eat outside on a hot day. Price was pretty reasonable considering what food costs nowadays. One star off is because I was expecting subs to be a little bigger.

I love this restaurant. Very authentic dishes. The pho is great. I also tried steamed rice roll, loved it. The pastries are delicious. My daughter loves them.

The first thing I noticed is how cozy and nice the place is. Plants ornate the shop, and the blue accent in the place is something I appreciate. The shop, I think, is better suited for dining alone, a cute date, or for a small group. My brother and I ordered drinks and food, and they were all great! If you're a coffee lover like me, please try the Vietnamese coffee! The coffee was smooth, has a kick, but the condensed milk is what ties it all up! The Oolong Milk Tea is a solid choice too if you're not up for the strong caffeine. Trying to think what to order for the kids? They also have slushies; we had the strawberry one and it's pretty good. As for the food, I forgot to take a photo of the Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi, but let me tell you, I want to go back for more! Idk what to get next, but they offer quite the variety. We also had ham & cheese pastry and pork floss bun on the side, good for a quick snack! All in all: the staff were friendly; I love the ambiance; and the food/drinks are great!

Had some difficulty with delivery and was quoted a 40+ minute wait time, which i was willing to wait, after receiving and confirmation that delivery was on its way, my driver contacted me saying that they had not made any food yet. after calling them, i was not given a proper response as to why my food was not made in the 40+ minute window they had given me and why my driver was waiting upwards of 15 minutes in the restaurant. I have ordered her before, in person, however called ahead so my food could be easily picked up, and had no difficulties like this. I was disappointed, especially having not experienced anything like this with delivery apps before and caused unnecessary delays to both my driver and myself. Food is amazing though, definitely just this delivery service soured my experienced and I will definitely order from them again, however this was extremely disappointing and makes me rethink where to get my banh mi’s from now on.

The best banh mi in Regina. I love the flavourful homemade pate & freshly baked baguette. They also have other authentic dishes such as rice roll and pho. 100% delicious and authentic. Coming from a Vietnamese native 👌 Very friendly owner as well.
