Bánh Mì Ông Mười is such a gem! The sandwich was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They also have amazing desserts that are definitely worth trying. Highly recommend! 🤩

Ever since I went to Vietnam for two weeks last year, I crave Vietnamese food and always want that flavorful freshness that was so prevalent across the country. I had the crispy pork bahn mi and it was spot on—just like being on the bustling streets of Hanoi and Saigon minus all the motorbikes and noise. I didn’t think my bahn mi needed extra pate or mayo or meat but I like that you can ask for it if you want more. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also tasty, sweet, and robust. The store is very clean, has plenty of comfy seating options, and the sandwich came out very quickly (maybe 3 minutes?). So glad to have this new place nearby!

We stopped in for some breakfast banh mi and banh nam to go. The 3 sandwiches we ordered (roast pork, ham, and grilled chicken) were nice and fresh and it’s great how they package the pickles separately so your sandwich doesn’t get soggy. The banh nam was like a tamale and really tasty — first time having one! Also love that they’re open early so we can have an alternative to the usual breakfast sandwiches at like Panera McD’s. Will definitely be back. Glad to have them in the area!

We just tried the banh mi for the first time. We got a chicken and a beef. Both were delicious! The bread was perfect and everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming. 10/10 we will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious, authentic and well made. We had the banh mi and pho.They actually bake the bread themselves for the banh mi and that makes a total difference in the overall taste or experience. The pho broth was also perfectly balanced and really delicious, same as homemade versions. The owners of staff are also very friendly and just good people. Thoughtful and considerate. Very no frills type of place with the main focus on quality of food and service. Highly recommended!!

I tried Special cold cut and roasted pork. Very tasty! The outer bread is just like in Vietnam, I tried other places but their bread is lacking. Mayonaise/butter is lovely, reminds me of banh mi in Vietnam. I also like the filling. Despite having to pay 1.5x of the in-store price due to ordering through Uber Eats, I am very satisfied!

When I think of good bánh mì, my mind usually goes straight to Argyle but this newly opened spot is making me reconsider. The fact that they pack the veggies and pickles separately to keep the bread crisp shows they know what they're doing. As expected, their bánh mì and cà phê game is on point: no frills, affordable, and delicious. Honestly, there’s little more you could ask for.

FINALLY found my go to banh-mi in town! I was super excited when I saw the place was opening and it definitely did not disappoint. Crunchy fresh bread and really kind owners. Thank you!!!

Excellent sandwiches. I think the bread is either baked onsite or nearby because it's extremely fresh. Also if you take the sandwich to go, they separate the jalapeño/daikon/cilantro in a baggie so it stays fresh. Highly recommended

Got banh mi Heo Quay for $8. You can tell that the banh mi freshly made because it's so warm. They put the veggies in a separate bag so the wont be moist. The banh mi itself is crunchy. Wish the pork skin was crispier Apparently they make the heo quay in house. The owners are very nice and friendly even though there are lots of customers Overall, the place is clean. Everything is brand new. Plenty of parking spots. Wish they have more food and drinks. Good place to grab a quick breakfast and coffee before work since they open early. You can always call and order ahead to save time.

My family and I ordered the banh mi dac biet, banh cha lua & op la, and the Vietnamese coffee. The baguette for the banh mi was crispy on the outside and airy on the inside. What I liked about the sandwiches is the sauce they used. It's not overly heavy like the other places and still tasty. So far, it's our favorite banh mi place in Chicago.

We tried a carryout of a couple offerings of the banh mi sandwiches from this new eatery. All of their banh mi sandwiches, and there are 10 of them, go for $8. If you have been keeping up with banh mi prices, you will know that they have good, competitive pricing. We tried their #1 special cold cuts and their #5 grilled beef. It's also notable that not many places offer grilled beef banh mi so that is a plus. The carryouts were also packaged with the veggies in a separate plastic bag for sandwich freshness. The French bread was very fresh and the sandwiches were flavorful and delicious. Thumbs up!

Excellent customer service. I got the pork bahn mi, they packed the veggies separate to keep the bread crispy-and it was fantastic! Sandwich was a bit small, but that means room for dessert! I did get the che-mix of beans and jelly with coconut milk. So good. Parking is plenty. The decor was plain but it was very clean.

Delicious sandwiches with bread made in store. The grilled beef was excellent. I'll be back to try more.

Sugar Cane Juice is 10/10. This is a family owned and operated business with a passion for quality. You can taste it in the sugar cane juice!

food i had was delicious! i had the thit heo banh mi and it had a lot of fixings and sauce inside. I also had the passionfruit drink which was also refreshing on a hot day. The place inside was cute and nice. Service was efficient as well.

The sandwiches are excellent. Just had a chicken sandwich and I'm headed back for a second one . (The husband wants one after tasting mine). Fresh and yummy. Best sandwich I've had in a while.. Do not miss this place. Directly across from the Home Depot on McCormick .

Excellent banh mi! Owners are very nice and place is clean. Ordered the dac biet and thit heo nuong and also tried their sugar cane, passion fruit, and thai tea drinks which were all yummy! Would come back :)

I had high hopes for this place. The bread is okay, but they are really slow. This is a Banh Mi restaurant, how do you not have Banh mi dac biet? There was no pate or mayonnaise on the sandwiches. You Can get better banh mi at the Pho restaurants. I will never be coming back to this "restaurant"
