"Before banh mi became hip, this modest sandwich shop was cranking out remarkably flavorful curry chicken and a range of other baguette-based sandwiches. Options are more plentiful these days, but Banh Mi Saigon’s dominance is practically undisputed. The menu also includes a number of noodle and rice plates, bubble tea, and assorted desserts including taro pudding and Vietnamese honeycomb cake, but the affordable, mouthwatering banh mi remains the primary draw." - Eric Ginsburg

Google
I got the no 4 bbq beef, always fresh ingredients! Very nice flavor, bread was fresh and crunchy, outstanding! Most drink options are coconut water, or some variation . Great for a quick snack ! Deserts and Boba available too but I'm here strictly for the sandwiches !

This place is a hidden gem! Stop visiting corporate slop chains and start coming here and support your small local businesses. Incredible sandwiches, generous portions, and the best value for food in the area. My new favorite

Google
Every-time II am near the Greensboro Coliseum or driving near Gate City I have the need for Bahn Mi! There sandwiches are incredible, whether the original beef or my favorite the “Orleans” pork, you get a mouthful of flavor in every bite. The crunchy fresh vegetables and sliced jalapeños add that perfect kick to their well prepared beef and pork respectively. They also have a plate version which is usually premade and placed on a table near the front counter. That looks delicious and it’s just the same as the sandwich but without the carbs. The desserts are also on display either on the table or refrigerated. I have tried a few, including their take on rice pudding. It’s silver looking with a white cream on top and oddly it has cooked beans in it. Not the way I’m used to having it but it was actually good. I am tempted to try a lot of their other items but always get the sandwiches. The drinks look like smoothies and I have not tried one yet, they look delicious. They are in a small strip mall and have ample parking. You can order at the counter or at a kiosk, depending on the time of day you may have a wait time. It’s very laid back with limited seating as half the restaurant is closed off since Covid and they keep it piled with stock. Staff is pretty quick and friendly. It would be nice if they u cluttered the place and made it more spacious to dine in. If you have never had a Bahn Mi, do yourself a favor and swing by, you won’t regret it!

Google
This bread is next level. So fresh so delicious. I got the #17 curry chicken. Juicy and flavorful. I very much enjoyed this place for lunch.

Google
Banh mi is really good! Baguette tastes fresh! Love the pickles and herbs that come with it. There are vegetarian options. More like a takeout place.

Google
Absolutely amazing. The freshest, most delicious sandwich I've had in my life. The carrots, cilantro and jalepeno were huge pops of flavor in each bite. I would recommend to everyone!

Maya !

Google
a low-key spot with the best Bánh Mi i've had in years. I ordered the number 10 and was blown away by the taste. the bread is incredible, closest thing i've had to New Orleans style bread in NC so far which is the highest praise possible. So delicious and flakey. the meat was delicious too, tender and not too chewy with an amazing flavor. very authentic. thai tea was delicious as well, an amazing combo with the Bánh Mi and spring rolls. Spring rolls were perfectly balanced with shrimp and basil and had an amazing dipping sauce. person behind the counter was very kind and offered help even though we were ordering on the touch screen. food came out pretty fast even though they were visibly busy. definitely coming back here, wish i lived closer!

Google
Went here with my family and it was a great spot for lunch. Lots of options for various dietary restrictions and they tasted great. The staff was sooooo nice, even with how busy they got. The curry tofu was what I got and I loved it.

Fiona P.

Yelp
Quick service and AMAZING FOOD. The best banh mi place I've had in NC. I always get their #2. Definitely coming back to GSO just for this place!! And I love getting the banh da lon (steamed tapioca, panda and mung bean flavored. Green stripes) for dessert as well, so fresh and chewy.

Yelp
I've been on the hunt for a good vegetarian banh mi. I've been mostly making my own because I've been disappointed with the sub -like quality of most banh mis. Until now. Banh mi Saigon has TWO tofu options! I was looking at the menu and went between a curry tofu and a tomato tofu: I went with the curry and the woman at the counter was the sweetest. She asked if I was a vegetarian and I said yes, so I could have the Mayo. She stated the curry one was good and hoped I liked it. I got my (big) sandwich and decided to eat there in a booth: it was around 230pm so not busy at all, but a decent number of people coming in for takeout and pickup. The place itself is pretty no frills, and in my opinion you don't need them with this good of a sandwich. The bread is perfection: a little crunchy on the outside, chewy inside. The tofu had a delicious not too spicy curry flavor and was a bit messy, but when I'm eating a warming spice delicious sandwich, I'm not worried about being pretty. It's got all the banh mi fixings: cucumber, jalapeños, carrot and daikon. If I had one complaint, it's not enough carrot and daikon, which just means next time I'll add extra. Incredible sandwich, and so excited I have a place to bop into when I'm out in Greensboro!

Marie O.

Yelp
I was in a bahn mi mood so since we were in Greensboro I saw some good reviews for this place. Absolutely delicious ! I got that perfect balance of acid and freshness. The baguette bread was so fresh and buttery we felt maybe they baked it there on premise. Spring rolls were ok but definitely come here for their sandwiches, tea and coffee drinks. Prices were great, under $7 for most sandwiches!!! Our cashier very kindly helped me figure out the menu and was so sweet. I wish I got her name, her smile was infectious and she was so helpful.

Melissa M.

Yelp
This bakery is one of my favorite places in the triad to have. Banh Mi sandwich. The bread is so perfect. The people that own and work here are always so nice. There's a variety of items on the counter or in glass case to order as well. Great place to have lunch, or a mid day snack Located in an unassuming location! Strip mall on Gate city Blvd. I promise you won't be disappointed!!

Kristin U.

Yelp
Good bahn mi, rice noodles, char siu and spring rolls. Iced coffee not the best, tasted like a milkshake instead of that strong chicory flavor with the sweetened condensed milk. Lots of people coming and going, picking up orders, but there are a few tables for eating in. Easy stop off of 40.

Talita M.

Yelp
The food and service are all top notch. Food is made to order and super fast. The bread alone is worth stopping in for. I prefer to order the #4 BBQ sandwich with pork. The ambiance is just fine to sit and enjoy your food. Nothing fancy very simplistic. What matters are the flavors that are delicious. I don't come here for the ambiance. The banh mi sandwiches are so authentic and delicious. The spring rolls are great as well. The peanut sauce is a bit more flavorful than some of other Asian resturant in the triad. I only not that they are not rolled as tight as I'd prefer but again as long as the flavor and ingredients match, I'm not complaining.

Amaryllis K.

Yelp
One of the best banh mi in the Triad area. I've been coming here for years and the food never disappoint. Yes, it used to be cheap back then (around $3-$4) but for their sandwiches to be under $10 is awesome. They also offer other food/drinks like pork chop w/ rice, bun thit nuong (vermicelli rice noodles w/ whatever protein), spring rolls, boba, Vietnamese coffee, & their specialty Vietnamese desserts. My usual order is #2 (Saigon Special) and sometimes I get #4 (Grilled Beef). The #2 is similar as the #1 (Saigon Classic) but it has more meat. What's delicious about their grilled beef is that they have their homemade scallion oil mix and lemon fish sauce in the sandwich and it's amazing! Their bread is fresh, light, and crispy. My family sometimes order a dozen of them and you can actually order their fresh baguettes and make your own banh mi at home! As for the service they are welcoming; I always see the guy working there and he remembers me, which is really nice. The ambiance is simple and nothing extraordinary, but don't let that stop you from trying their banh mi!

Sara S.

Yelp
Great little spot with low prices and excellent food. The people are so polite and it's just a great sandwich done well. The bread is fresh and crispy, toppings are fresh and just overall enjoyable. Don't go for the decor but enjoy the sandwich!

Cindy N.

Yelp
Our go-to spot for Vietnamese sandwiches when we are in the area from Raleigh. It's the closest thing we can get from missing good CA food. They make their baguettes in house which makes the sandwiches! We usually get the #2 dac biet cause it has more different meats compared to the #1 dac biet and #7 (I believe?) is the choice of grilled pork meat. We tried the xu mai/meatball in tomato based sauce and their little glutinous rice/sticky rice/sweet rice with sausage, but they were both a "never again" go for us. They offer QR Coded menus to order ahead online. It does get a little busy so it's best to order a head, which the staff thank you for since they are a small family owned business. They are extremely nice & provide great customer service. Would highly recommend to anyone who's looking for Vietnamese banh mi. :)

Samantha G.

Yelp
We went yesterday and there wasn't many people there. Every table in there was dirty. We bought 2 drinks and my husband had to clean a table for us to sit down and enjoy our drinks. All employees standing around and trash in both cans overflowing. Drinks were ok. Do not recommend

Amberlee B.

Yelp
I saw that this restaurant got very good reviews on yelp, so I decided to try it. Yum!!! I wasn't sure what to try? The staff was extremely welcoming and very helpful. Both of the sandwiches that they suggested were very, very fresh and delicious! I will definitely be back. I can't wait to try lots of things on their menu. Very clean, great and friendly service and the prices are very reasonable. Gem of a restaurant in Greensboro!

Jenny N.

Yelp
Authentic Vietnamese stop that has a variety of goods: banh mi, rice plates, desserts/che, pastries, and fruit slush/boba. Overall there is plenty of parking in the plaza and some indoor seating if you're planning to eat in. No issues with customer service. I'm going to be honest, this is faaaaaar from the best banh mi or Vietnamese food I've ever had but I'm VERY happy to see an authentic place in the Triad. Def gets the job done for when I'm craving authentic Viet food. Hearing the workers speak Vietnamese makes me feel very nostalgic of home and of the Vietnamese restaurants in California. I've only had the special (dac biet) banh mi and it's very sad to see how... not-filled the sandwich is? Single layer of cold meats, deli meat, very thin spread of pate, and barely any aromatics/pickled vegetables. Really missing out on the Viet mayo/butter. Baguette is light, nice, and freshly baked. Every banh mi is made to order as it should be. Tried the sticky rice with black eyed bean pudding (che dau trang) which was surprisingly very authentic but much too sweet for my liking. Also seemed like the dessert had been sitting in the fridge for a while, I'm not sure how often they make and replace them. I did not like how the pudding already had the coconut milk on top, it was solidified and made the overall texture of the dessert less appetizing. Also tried the pig skin cake/Vietnamese layer cake which is steamed layer cake of tapioca starch, mung bean, coconut milk, and pandan. Happy to see that this was also pretty authentic but too sweet for my liking and more gelatinous than I'm used too. Never had their rice plates or other "hot" food here, but would recommend going to a sit-in restaurant that specializes in Vietnamese food. Overall, I would not bring my Vietnamese parents here LOL.

Yelp
Best banh mi in Piedmont triad. So good I had two. Do I need to say more than that?

Casey D.

Yelp
I didn't take pictures because I destroyed this sandwich too fast. I started ordering two at a time ( one for lunch one for dinner) Delicious Delicious DELICIOUS!!! *chefs kiss Go eat a classic Banh mi!!! I like the spring rolls too!!! If you are not eating here in Greensboro you are missing out!!!

Jeanne R.

Yelp
Good Banh Mi sandwich (bread is terrific) with good service depending on the time of day. You don't come here for the ambience.

Luan D.

Yelp
Sandwiches aren't bad. They have limited types of meat filling and the sandwiches seem to have adapted for American taste, in my opinion. This is the first time ever that I had banh mi with slices of raw onion added and without cilantro, cucumber and jalapeno. Just didn't taste like what I grew up with and what typically served at other places. They sprinkled salt to the sandwich and there was no harmony in the ingredients.

Sarah K.

Yelp
Authentic, amazing food. The owners are very kind and this place is a gem in Greensboro!

Don G.

Yelp
True Vietnamese sandwich shop with menu items for any type customer. My wife is particular about trying new foods, but has become hooked on the healthy, home made ingredients, all on a crusty French bread. They have a authentic French baking oven, making crispy fresh baguettes daily. The meats; beef, chicken, or pork, are cooked fresh on location, with a roasted flavor in many of the sandwiches. The vegetables added to the sandwiches are all fresh cut daily. Then customized the sandwich upon your request. I choose extra jalapeños, while my wife adds extra sauce instead. The sandwich has a natural taste, not found in many shops in this area. If you feel bold or curious, try a wide collection of Asian deli items and desserts. Not much of a dinning-in experience, but take your order home, or to the park, for a satisfying experience. A shop with authentic, fresh sandwiches, and deli items...

Tim C.

Yelp
I tried their barbecue sandwich (#4 - thit nuong), and I thought it was pretty good. The bread is nice - crunchy exterior with soft interior. The meat was flavored well, but I unfortunately felt a bit slighted on the amount of meat I got - I wish there was more. The pickled carrots and daikon tasted great, and they had the mayo and Maggi which brought everything full circle. Overall, it was a great sandwich but I wish it had more meat. I could have easily eaten two sandwiches, and probably should have ordered 2 to be filled. The parking is ample, and we didn't have to wait long for our sandwiches. They currently don't have indoor seating, so everything was take-out.

Leslie N.

Yelp
The worst banh mi place to ever step foot to Greensboro. Came in to order 5 banh mi dac biet to take back home bc I'm from out of town, typically banh mi shops will ask you if you want your veggies separate or together. This place did not. So when they got done with my order and I noticed they put all the veggies in the banh mi's so I politely asked if they could separate it, stating that I had a 4.5 hour drive back to Virginia and they would not. The lady proceeds to tell me that it is like McDonald's and sandwiches come premade like that. I then said I would stand there and pick out all the veggies there in front of them if they could just give me a separate bag of the veggies. The a-hole of a guy that prepared the sandwiches then tells me that it is an extra charge and that they aren't "mind readers" so he didn't know what i wanted. so at this point i am already livid. he tells me next time to just tell them in advance once again because they are not mind readers. Do you really think I'm coming back after this? I would never give this place my business again. How exactly do you guys expect to run a business with this type of customer service? Not to mention, how the hell do you toast a bread with VEGGIES INSIDE OF IT ALREADY? am I suppose to just eat that with warm cilantro and cucumbers? um no sir. DUNG CO BAO GIO MUA BANH MI O TIEM NAY, BANH MI KHONG NGON. IT BO MA CUNG KHONG CO HUONG VI GI HET. Nguoi ta tra $6.50 mot o banh mi ma an khong ngon mot chut gi het. May nguoi lam thi can thay ghet hon nua, khong co mot chut customer services skills gi het. Ma tiem cung ban thiu nua, disgusting. UPDATE: the owner has responded (see attached photo).. this is just to prove my exact point as to how UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE this business is. Save your money and spend it at a better banh mi shop than this!

Teresa D.

Yelp
I have bought banh mi from here often, but I don't know what's going on today, I sent my son go get me banh mi ga, it had no cause of any kind just chicken and bread. It tasted nothing. I was a bit disappointed. I hope they do better businesses in the future.

Buddha N.

Yelp
So was craving Banh mi and the ones in the Cary/Raleigh area arent cutting it ... so made the trip to Greensboro and tried Banh Mi Saigon and damn so worth the hour drive! This is the type of baguette I'm used to with Banh Mi.... not the stuff that is being served abound the triangle area. This baquette is crunchy outside and has the right inside fluffy chewy middle . Had to buy some extras for lunches/dinner the next few days and purchased some plain baquettes also to throw in the freezer to use later ... yes these can be frozen and thrown in the oven or toaster for later use and still be good as day one .. Also picked up different che aka desserts .. some Bun Baos (stuffed with meat and egg) and some fresh vietnamese yogurt Along with this trip I picked up some viet iced coffee which was delicious and a avocado smoothie which was so great... the guy tossed in a quarter/ slice of avocado in it and added a ton of milk/sugar/condensed milk and barely had a hint of avocado and came out white .... I was like damn where is the avocado ? These thing are usually green and most places use half an avocado or sometimes a whole one for one serving ... but here ... nope ! That's probably my only gripe.

Mary K.

Yelp
We've been going to this banh mi shop for years and they never disappoint! We always get #4, the bbq beef. Unfortunately I didn't a pic but we also got the vermicelli bowl and it was so good and held us over till we got our sandwiches.

Julianna A.

Yelp
Delicious and authentic food! Best Vietnamese coffee around! Staff is always friendly and helpful

James Y.

Yelp
So some updates to the menu! I didn't realize they updated their menu or I would've ordered some more of the new items. They got rid of the #5 Shredded Pork and replaced it with the #5 New Orleans, which is basically the #10 Roast Pork with a dollop of Sriracha sauce. I got it even though the #10 is not my fave and it...didn't really work for me. The Sriracha just doesn't seem necessary and the chunks of roast pork are just not a great mouth feel (you end up with hunks of pork in your mouth and empty bread). They replaced the #16 Grilled pork loaf with #16 Sweet and sour grilled pork loaf, which intrigues me enough to try it next time. They also replaced the #18 Sardine with #18 Vegetarian Chicken, which I'll have to try on my next visit. They also replaced #19 Vegetarian meatball with #19 Tofu Curry, but given that I'm not a fan of their curry or their tofu sandwiches, I'll pass. So updated faves list: #9, #4 pork, #2, #4 beef, #8 + #12 spring rolls, of course

Erik S.

Yelp
Not really sure how I have never reviewed this place... I have been at least a few times. I suppose I always devour my sandwiches and spring rolls so fast that I forget to take pictures and then forget to review! This time, I did manage to get a pic of at least one of my sandwiches, and one of my spring rolls so voila! Banh Mi Saigon is the best, and one of very few, places to get fresh Banh Mi in the Triad area. They offer a multitude of sandwiches on baked fresh bread each day, and you'll probably want to snag multiple if you head in. They also keep a wide selection of chilled appetizers, among which, their fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce is a must order. You can also get some really interesting drinks here, including even Durian (yuck) based drinks! First thing that jumps at you when biting into these sandwiches is how good the bread is, and honestly, unless you double the meat on a sandwich (recommended), it will take front and center. You'll savor it, and then get the notes of whatever fresh filling are contained there-in. I personally prefer any sandwiches with their pork. It is tangy, a little sweet, and pairs really well with the fermented items and fresh herbs. This shop is a Greensboro area staple, and the owners are nice as can be. During the pandemic, they do curbside service and take excellent safety precautions. Big time recommend!

Devon E.

Yelp
To me, these are the best Bahn Mi sandwiches in town! They are a good size, multiple variations available to suit varying tastes, and super affordable (around $4 a piece). The building doesn't look like much, but the food is top notch. You can even place your order and pay online before going to pick up. I did this due to COVID closing restrictions and it was super user friendly. I got an email in real-time confirming my order and pick up time. They even called me almost immediately after ordering to let me know something I ordered was out of stock so I could order a substitute. When I arrived, they brought my order out to the car as requested. Now, the Bahn Mi's! My husband and I each got 2 sandwiches, some would argue one is enough, but we #treatyoself. We both got a #10 Roasted Pork Sandwich (Bánh mì Xá Xíu), he just ordered his without jalapenos. Dude, their baguettes are so good- definitely freshly made and the perfect mix of crunchy and soft. Their roasted pork is my favorite Bahn Mi option. You can see the nice red roasted marks on the pork and it just goes so well with the freshly cut included vegetables (cilantro, cucumber, jalapeno, pickled carrot, and pickled daikon). Yummy! My second Bahn Mi was the #17 Curry Chicken Sandwich (Bánh Mì Cà Ri Gà). I had never had this one before (they were out of the regular chicken) but it was a very tasty surprise. I really liked the addition of a sauce and the flavors of their curry chicken went great with the traditional Bahn Mi vegetables. Would order again. My husband's second sandwich was the #1 Bánh mì Saigon Classic. This is the classic Saigon style sandwich that's made with pate, pork roll and jambon. If you have never tried a Vietnamese Bahn Mi before, I recommend you start with the classic one, if you ok with pate, and then venture out to their other offerings. They all are seriously delicious. We also shared the #12 Spring Roll (Gỏi Cuốn) appetizer. I love fresh rolls, theirs summer rolls are made with shrimp, pork, lettuce, mint, and vermicelli noodle wrapped in a thin rice paper. It was served with their homemade peanut sauce. It wasn't the best fresh roll I have had locally, but a good standard offering. Go get some Bahn Mi Sandwiches!

Kayla H.

Yelp
Fun fact: there are two locations on Gate City Blvd called Saigon, so be sure you come to the correct one! I learned that the hard way when picking up some banh mi (that's a personal thing, not the restaurants fault whatsoever). The banh mi there are fairly good for the most part. There are at least ten different sandwiches to choose from. The recipe itself is a bit different from what I am used to as I notice a butter spread and not your normal pâté. Overall the place is good, but I've had better banh mi sandwiches before...yet still a good option for lunch!

Demetrius A.

Yelp
This has easily become a regular spot. The sandwiches are always fresh and if you're in the mood for boba tea I'd recommend the Thai spice tea or any of their other flavors.

AnneShey N.

Yelp
As always, I love me some Banh Mi sandwich and some fresh shrimp rolls. The roasted pork is so flavorful, with some fresh vegetables in a toasted bread. The shrimp rolls are freshly made to order pairs with the peanut sauce. They also have some bread, and other dessert I need to try next time.

Alicia B.

Yelp
As great as ever! For anyone interested- there's a Banh Mi appreciation group on Facebook, though it seems to be mostly based in Australia.

Kong L.

Yelp
When I was a student years ago, we used to come here weekly for sandwich. The prices were about $3 a sandwich then. The Banh Mi Sandwiches here are still the best in town. Once the bread is sold out, the store is usually closed for the day; so if you're planning on going late -- it would not hurt to give them a call. I recently stopped in and noticed that there's less meat in the sandwiches now compared to back then. If you're not planning to eat it right away, you can ask them to put the vegetable fillings on the side. Overall, the sandwiches are still delicious! The texture of the bread is the key! I can just eat that all day!

Qiongqiong M.

Yelp
Update! I love it here! I stopped by here on my way home. As we know, most restaurants have increased their prices on meals but here hasn't. The Banh mi is still so cheap, but they charge 50 cent in the chili paste now. Still not complaining because everything remained the same price. The service was quick and helpful. We got our food pretty fast. Dining in is finally open now!

Rachel H.

Yelp
I got the #4 with grilled chicken and oh. My. God. I didn't know a sandwich could be so delicious. At $6.25 this is the best value for a great meal. The bread is absolutely delicious and the sandwich itself was flavorful and had a perfect meat to vegetable ratio. I highly recommend.

Michael C.

Yelp
Highly recommend this little sandwich shop! It's fast, low priced yet high value, and consistently great. I always stop here in my way through Greensboro if I don't have time to sit down for Pho or Thai. The bread is made fresh on site and has the perfect crumbly texture. I usually stick up with 3-6 subs for lunch through the next few days. While you lose the crunch and crumble, the bread gets chewy and doughier if you keep leftovers in the fridge and still tastes great. Fresh ingredients that make you feel like your making good choices, and a family of proprietors and staff that care about putting our consistent good product. Don't snooze on this place.

Lauren M.

Yelp
I had this for lunch and it was so delicious! The bread was freshly baked, the vegetarian meatballs were delicious, and the veggies on the sandwich tasted so fresh and crispy. I was so amazed by how delicious this was for the price! The vegetarian meatballs honestly tasted so similar to meat to me. Probably the best vegetarian meatballs that I have had in a long time. The taro tea was also delicious! The flavor and sweetness were perfect. My only wish is that it had boba instead of those green jellies (I just find the jellies texture offputting). However, my boyfriend really likes the jellies so I definitely think that is a personal preference! Overall, I am more than happy with my experience here. Consider me a new regular! I will definitely be making more trips back here and recommending it to friends.

Ngoc H.

Yelp
This place would be 5 stars if it were cleaner. The food itself is authentic and delicious, and we love the texture and lightness of the bread and the fun quick-grab desserts and snacks. But the sanitation and cleanliness really needs work. One time we went in, the worker who was slicing the pandan honeycomb cake was eating portions of it as she was working. The last time we went in, the older woman behind the register was eating a baguette, chewing with her mouth open and food visible while taking our order. She was wearing a glove only on her right hand and was holding our sandwiches with her bare left hand while preparing them. The credit card payment machine was covered in crumbs/food. It was really hard to enjoy our meal after seeing all of that. Hope they clean things up as the food really is great. Would love to revise this review to 5 stars in the near future!

Will R.

Yelp
One of the better spots for banh mi here in Greensboro. Original and authentic ingredients. I've always said to myself that the bread can make or break a good Banh mi sandwich and theirs has a nice crunch to it. This establishment has been here for as long as I remember and continue to produce good, quality sandwiches.

Mae M.

Yelp
I love fresh spring rolls & order them from different places all the time. This place is by far one of the best! The rolls were huge in my opinion & at a great cost too! I will definitely visit again.

Jasmyne S.

Yelp
Best spring rolls, bahn mi, curry chicken, bbq pork, bbq beef, and peanut sauce I have ever had!!

Danielle A.

Yelp
I cannot believe I've not written a review here. Every single time I'm in Greensboro dropping my greyhound off for boarding we stop here. Every single time. I'm sure there are other great places to eat but this is the best to go sandwich shop. I wish I had something this great in Raleigh. I HIGHLY recommend Saigon Sandwiches. I usually get a chicken and a prok and my husband is more adventurous. I also love their bubble tea. It's with the jellies instead of the tapioca which I greatly prefer! Check them out if you're near by.

Lori C.

Yelp
I've eaten here many times. Delicious authentic Banh Mi sandwiches on the best bread! Perfectly seasoned pickled veggies too. Service is fast and friendly. My favorite is the #4 or #5 but I've tried others and they were good but not my favorite. They have a noodle dish I also love but don't get it often. I wish there was a good Banh Mi place closer to Winston Salem. Until there is, I'll be tracking out to Greensboro for my fix.

Kai O.

Yelp
It is now my tradition to eat two of these sandwiches after a day of rock climbing at hanging rock state park. Given they are only 6-7 dollars each, they satisfy that primal hunger you get after falling down a mountain without breaking the bank. Their bbq beef and pork options are great as well as their dac biet. Service is always friendly and quick.

Tuan N.

Yelp
Bánh mì.. cũng OK. The bread is too crunchy and missing the top butter kiss. The meat are cold /should leave outside for ease. Mayonnaise is missing the taste. YouTube offers a lot of way making it.

Jade L.

Yelp
The sandwiches are good and fresh. The lady cashier is super duper nice and polite. I frequent this place often.

Yelp
As someone who has been coming here for over 8 years I am a little disappointed that they raised their prices and cut down their amount of meat/vegetable fillings in their sandwiches. The quality of the food is still great, but not as filling/satisfying as they used to be.

Yelp
The bánh mì here is legit. Just as good as Little Saigon in CA if not better, as well as many places in California. Ingredients, flavor, everything was flesh including the pickles. What particularly stood out was the red onion which complemented the pork.

Yelp
Its in Greensboro and worth the trip if you live outside of it. The hours changed during covid they close at 2p now. The beef is my favorite, bubble tea yummy. And they remember you. Best Bahn mi I have had.

Yelp
For banh mi, it's probably the best in the area. However, having been to a variety of other places in different cities that do banh mi better, I personally was disappointed. The banh mi was fine, but I'm used to a more generous portion of meat and pickled vegetables that are crispier and more vinegary and sweet, as they should be. For the price, though, it's nothing to complain about. Interior of the bakery has no ambience whatsoever and feels incomplete, like someone started setting up a bakery but didn't finish, with half of the facility being used for food storage. Seems like more of a place where people would quickly pick up a banh mi to go. Again, though, you're probably paying for the reasonable value rather than the decor if you're coming here to eat.
