To me, these are the best Bahn Mi sandwiches in town! They are a good size, multiple variations available to suit varying tastes, and super affordable (around $4 a piece). The building doesn't look like much, but the food is top notch.
You can even place your order and pay online before going to pick up. I did this due to COVID closing restrictions and it was super user friendly. I got an email in real-time confirming my order and pick up time. They even called me almost immediately after ordering to let me know something I ordered was out of stock so I could order a substitute. When I arrived, they brought my order out to the car as requested.
Now, the Bahn Mi's! My husband and I each got 2 sandwiches, some would argue one is enough, but we #treatyoself. We both got a #10 Roasted Pork Sandwich (Bánh mì Xá Xíu), he just ordered his without jalapenos. Dude, their baguettes are so good- definitely freshly made and the perfect mix of crunchy and soft. Their roasted pork is my favorite Bahn Mi option. You can see the nice red roasted marks on the pork and it just goes so well with the freshly cut included vegetables (cilantro, cucumber, jalapeno, pickled carrot, and pickled daikon). Yummy!
My second Bahn Mi was the #17 Curry Chicken Sandwich (Bánh Mì Cà Ri Gà). I had never had this one before (they were out of the regular chicken) but it was a very tasty surprise. I really liked the addition of a sauce and the flavors of their curry chicken went great with the traditional Bahn Mi vegetables. Would order again.
My husband's second sandwich was the #1 Bánh mì Saigon Classic. This is the classic Saigon style sandwich that's made with pate, pork roll and jambon. If you have never tried a Vietnamese Bahn Mi before, I recommend you start with the classic one, if you ok with pate, and then venture out to their other offerings. They all are seriously delicious.
We also shared the #12 Spring Roll (Gỏi Cuốn) appetizer. I love fresh rolls, theirs summer rolls are made with shrimp, pork, lettuce, mint, and vermicelli noodle wrapped in a thin rice paper. It was served with their homemade peanut sauce. It wasn't the best fresh roll I have had locally, but a good standard offering.
