From the moment you walk through the door, the delicious smells greet you and make your mouth water. It is my husband and I's go-to for a quick and reasonably priced weeknight dinner. We also have gotten it to go and brought it to a park for a perfect picnic meal. My favorite is the lemongrass pork bahn mi rice bowl, and my husband always gets the lemongrass pork bahn mi sandwich. I would also recommend making either of those orders a combo for $4.50, which adds an egg roll and your choise of thai tea or other beverages! Bahn Mi Station always hits the spot. What a great restaurant! So many great options, combinations, and flavors — Banh mi, bowls, appetizers (veggie spring rolls / egg rolls are great). Their fried chicken Banh mi is phenomenal… just delicious! Low key vibe, inviting space, extremely friendly, and the prices - for $10, the sandwiches are huge. This spot makes the best bahn mi sandwich that I’ve ever had before. I love getting their lunch meal deal that comes with a crunchy eggroll. The sandwich is a perfect combination of fresh herbs and vegetables, delicious crunchy bread, and perfectly seasoned meat.

This place has delicious Banh Mi's and is reasonably priced, consumer friendly! The fried chicken banh mi was new to me and it did not disappoint 😋 I wish you all success, keep doing what you're doing.

I was visiting Denver on business for the first time in 20 years and got lunch here. The shop was bustling at 1pm on a weekday, great atmosphere. Very friendly people running the shop, presumably the owners. I got the fried Chicken Bahn mi , and an iced coffee. The slab of meat in The sandwich was enormous. For me personally, it overpowered the rest of the things in the sandwich, and needed balance. I'd have preferred to get about half that much fried Chicken. But, far better to get too much than too little. The pickled veggies were yummy. The sandwich itself was very filling. The iced coffee, I tried to explain to the man at the register that I did not want sugar in it. He kept asking less sweet? And I said yes. No sweet. Unfortunately he did not understand me and it was still super sweet. But again, excellent flavor and overall I really liked the feeling of the cafe. Definitely would visit again, but would get a different kind of bahn mi next time, and try harder to explain no sugar in the iced coffee.

My current favorite Banh Mi spot on Denver. Lemongrass pork and beef are tender and well seasoned. The fried chicken or fried pork chop comes out hot and fresh and is well seasoned. As a Banh Mi should be, it is a very delicious and well balanced sandwich. Everything I’ve had from Banh Mi station has been hot, fresh, and tasty. Only criticism I have is the pate is too irony tasting. I love adding pate to my banh mi’s, but the pate here needs work.

I enjoy Banh Mi Station because it's simple, to the point, and affordable. I had the fried pork loin chop sandwich and my wife had a house combo rice bowl. It has a moderate sit down area but plenty come in for take out. Nestled in the University area, college students come in a lot. Bathrooms are clean but parking might be an issue. Worth a try.

I've had a lot of banh mi. This place is legit. The bread is critical and these French rolls are a little too big but definitely legit. The lemongrass pork is on the mild side and if you like spicy you'll have to ask for extra jalapenos, but those are small issues. The bread, the pickled daikon and carrots, the cucumber, the cilantro and mayo are all fresh and proportioned perfectly. Found it! Best Banh Mi sandwich in Denver proper. Banh Mi station comes highly recommended and has been atop many "Best" lists including here at Yelp. The Banh Mi Sandwich is perfectly crafted. Delicious French bread, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The lemon grass chicken was perfectly seasoned and placed alongside the crisp veggies- cucumber, carrots, jalapeños, cilantro, and radishes. Each sandwich comes with a mayo spread as well. Banh Mi Station sits close to the DU campus. Inside, there are a few tables and cafe-like chairs. You can order from a person or order on the automated machine. Service was great and our food came out in record time. They have more to offer than just sandwiches as well. Rice and noodle bowls are also in the menu. This will soon become a most frequented spot for me! Well done, Banh Mi Station.

Heard many great things about Banh Mi Station, so I had to give it a try. I went a non-traditional way and ordered a vermicelli house special combo so I could try several of the meats. It was a generous portion of noodles, vegetables, & meat. I thought I would save some for later, but ended up eating the entire meat & vegetable portion. The pork was my favorite hands down. I didn't really like the egg roll that came with it. The wrapper around it was too thick and undercooked. Service was friendly and fast. I ordered at the counter, but they do have an automated ordering system. Banh Mi Station proudly displays its Yelp accolades on the wall.

Honestly...we loved Bahn Mi Station!! Our go-to spot for Bahn Mi is Vinh Xuong Bakery in Denver, but I have to say that Bahn Mi Stations gives them a run for their money! We opted for the lemongrass grilled pork Bahn mi and it was amazing! The lemongrass flavor in the pork really came through, as did the slight char from grilling. The bread was delicious & crazy flakey on the outside as it should be. This is one thing that Vihn Xuong is so good at, and Bahn mi station should be as well. We also go an order of their shrimp rice paper spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce, which was delicious, but the sandwich was easily the standout! The large sandwich was only $10 which is kind of unheard of these days. They weren't busy at all when we went (2:30pm on a cold Monday the day before the election), but it is right by DU so I hope they stay busy and more people try the amazing food they have to offer!

Best Vietnamese Sandwiches in Denver hands down. I was born and raised in Houston and being Vietnamese myself I've had my fair share of different restaurants, but this one is by far my top three. Definitely go and try it out! They also have vermicelli bowls and other small bites and they make one mean Vietnamese ice coffee. They have free water cups next to the soda fountain and also a self serve kiosk to place your order.

This cost $15 after adding $2 pate and $.30 for extra veggies and tip. The bread is so soft and crunchy, the pate is flavorful, the chicken is well seasoned. Overall, a great meal and a deal.

I love the fried chicken banh mi here! The bread and chicken are both nice and crispy and the sandwich is light and filling all at once. It also heats up well the next day in the air fryer....I'm not lying when I say I dream about this sandwich haha. The price and portion are great and we often come here when we want to eat something delicious but don't want to spend a whole ton of money eating out. If I could give it a 10/10 I would! We like to call in and place an order for pick up. There was only one time we were disappointed - we tried to get banh mis for dinner and they said they were out of bread. This was later on during the night and we learned our lesson!

All the positive reviews and we go to lunch there. No line, easy parking, comfortable vibe, pleasant customer service. The tofu vermicelli noodle bowl for my girlfriend, very tasty she said. Her tea was way too sweet. My lemongrass beef noodle bowl, taste was very off. Fish sauce tasted of too much vinegar. Vietnamese coffee, they went very light on condensed milk, almost non existent. Been eating Vietnamese food for fifty years here in Denver. Something was either wrong with today's meal or I'm not used to their flavor patterns. Not a good meal!

This is a tiny Vietnamese restaurant and yet its heart is as big as the attitude of a petite chihuahua: it boasts the authentic cuisine of the southeast Asian country. The menu is a good side but is not overwhelmingly big. Whereas I thought it could be a bit bigger (one particular item picture on Yelp posted by one of the past diners in the photo section are potstickers/dumplings which I inquired about upon ordering. The young lady who assisted me said they no longer serve them) would be a good one to bring back to be on the menu again. Smaller menu selection may not be a bad thing; they may simply want to focus on the quality? I wanted something refreshing and savory and found a few items that I thought would satisfy my needs: shrimp spring roll (2 pieces) and jasmine honey tea (iced). The items on the menu appear to be priced just right. Very simple interior inside. Nothing fancy but I saw some decors that are/were indicative of some Asian culture here and there. Let me rate the items I got: -The jasmine honey tea (iced): amazing and refreshing. Perfect amount of honey was in it. Not too sweet, not too subtle. Perfect cold beverage on a hot summer day (I would say.) A lice of lemon and a mint leaf were the magic elements to enhance the flavor/taste. -Shrimp spring roll: Good portion! Everything wrapped inside the skin/wrapper was fresh and light. The accompanying peanut sauce was somewhat chunky with visible peanut pieces. Very authentic indeed. This place does a good job offering quality Vietnamese food for sure. Another restaurant that's been added to the good restaurants in the city list I keep which I can recommend to friends and acquaintances. Enjoyed it!

This is a little bit of a hole in the wall establishment. That means it's no frills and you know it has potential. I'd rate it in the top 1% of Banh mi options available in this mid-city. Yes there is a lot of options if you want Vietnamese food or Korean food but they are totally catering to a modified style of their food to appease the masses. Denver is only like 4% Asian people so I am not surprised they tamper down on the flavor profile at a lot of these hot spots. This banh mi reminds me of my favorite spot in the big apple. It is just as flavorful with lots of pickled daikon/carrots and the actual meat part of the matter is seasoned well. They use fresh ingredients and don't skimp on that part like some of the basic banh mi you can get at the larger Viet restaurants here. I go out of my way to obtain one of these sandwiches. I know they have other things but the sandwich gets me every time.

The sandwiches here so delicious! You can actually taste the lemongrass on the meat. They had all the right vegetables. Their ice coffee is a hit or miss. When I first had it, the coffee was strong. The second time around, they added too much milk. I usually call ahead and order for pick up at 1pm. I ended up getting there 5-10mins earlier and they were still making the sandwiches. I appreciate that they always try to make it fresh and that it doesn't just sit there waiting. The place is very small inside. There are maybe 5 tables but whenever I go I don't see people sitting and eating. Usually people order to go.

Love Banh Mi Station. I make an effort to go out of my way for their delicious Banh Mi sandwiches. The bread is perfect for the sandwich. That mix of sweet and spicy from the combination of ingredients. Its a treat every time I go. So glad I found this amazing local shop.

Just updating my review with a picture of the glorious tofu bahn mi! The sauce is absolutely fantastic, I order extra tofu and extra sauce every time now. It is just SO GOOD.

Our son is a DU student and we are visiting from Dallas. He said this place had the best sandwiches. Boy was he right. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was a symphony of flavors that mingled perfectly. It activated parts of my palate in different and unexpected ways. We also had the crab wontons and my wife enjoyed Thai Tea. The building, lobby, and trays are humble but sufficient. It is like hanging a Rembrandt in a public library. Family owned. Local. Kind. Accessible. We are only in Denver for 2 days - but we will find a way to come back before our flight leaves. A++++++++

Found this place on Friday, came back for more on Saturday. This place is so tasty, fresh and affordable. I tried the lemongrass beef banh mi and the fried chicken banh mi, both incredible and actually something to write home about. Add an egg roll and Thai tea for $3.50?! Absolutely, I'm not crazy!! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area and would also make it a destination spot!

Wet solid banh mi and noodle bowl joint near the DU campus. We were looking for a tasty quick casual and moderately priced option and this hit the spot. We got a combo noodle bowl which came with shrimp, beef and pork on top of noodles and salad and we also had a fried chicken Sammie - the bowl upgrade got us two egg rolls and a soft drink and for $26 or so we ate and were quite full. Good place. Will return. Clean area to sit, soda fountain for refills and water glasses and friendly efficient service. A big Yes from us !

Visited Denver for the weekend and found this spot doing research beforehand. The reviews and pics made me have to go to this spot. Once I entered, there was no line and was able to place my order at the register. Ended up ordering the pork bahn mi sandwich and added the can of coke and egg roll combo for an additional $2. Had the sandwich to stay and the place had a nice and clean cafe vibe to it. Not super bright and not loud, very chill vibes. Sandwich was amazing, bread was gutted out and the white shredded veggies (cabbage?) was nicely fermented. I would say this is probably the best bahn mi sandwich I have had. I highly recommend this place if you want a filling and delicious lunch. Def stopping by here again when I visit Denver again. * street parking * clean dine in

Banh Mi Station does not look like much when you're driving by, which made me think it would be delicious...and it is! We stopped in for a late lunch and got a lemongrass grilled chicken banh mi and a lemongrass pork banh mi. For only $3 more, you can make it a combo and add a beverage (Thai tea, Vietnamese coffee), and two cream cheese wontons...what a deal! We upgraded one sandwich to a combo and got the Thai tea (requested less sweet). Both sandwiches were great and the combination of flavors was spot-on. While we both enjoyed both proteins, we agreed that the pork had an edge over the chicken, as it had more flavor and was nice and tender. Portions were huge for the price, and we left absolutely stuffed for under $25. Can't beat having a parking lot for customers right out front!

Our first time ordering delivery from Banh Mi Station. Food was good and pretty generous helpings. Ingredients were fresh - except for perhaps the oil used for frying. We don't eat out often but have been on a quest to find the best grilled pork with lemon grass in Denver for years. Their grilled pork was tasty but a bit fatty/chewy. So not the winner of that contest. All in all- will probably order again. Fast and yummy.

Super fresh ingredients, generous portions and excellent service! I took it to go and the freshness and crispiness of that baguette didn't drop ONE BIT! Delicious. Will be back many more times. This one is a keeper. Had the fried chicken, lemongrass chicken banh mis and the shrimp spring rolls. All excellent.

First time trying to Vietnamese sandwich and I was not disappointed! This is a quaint, little spot in a large strip mall that is very authentic and packed at all times of the day. We ordered the original sandwich which is loaded with delicious and fresh ingredients at a extremely reasonable cost. This sandwich was new for me and I enjoyed getting to try this new delicacy. Of note, they also have some pastries and other goodies which I did not get to try but looked delicious.

I heard a lot of positive buzz about Banh Mi Station for a while, so it was about time I try them out. Honestly, if I had no reference point for a banh mi, I might have given this a 5 star rating. The sandwiches are very tasty with fresh ingredients and nearly perfect bread (probably as good as it gets in Denver). Pickled daikon, cilantro, jalapeno; all fresh and flavorful. The bread itself is crispy on the outside and light on the inside, but lacking ever so slightly more of a chew to it. Like I said, nearly perfect against a super high bar. I tried the lemongrass grilled pork, beef, chicken, and house special cold cut. The grilled meats had very good punchy flavor from the marinade and the caramelization from the grill. The house special cold cut was nice, but the meats were out of balance with too much cha lua coming through. It wasn't unpleasant, and like I said, if I had no frame of reference, I would think it was just tasty. The mayo was excellent too. Why 4 stars and not 5? Most crucially, no pate! And the high price point doesn't help. The house special needs to lose a layer or two of cha lua and put in pate. As I'm eating the sandwich, I can't stop thinking about how much better the sandwich would be with these edits. I suppose you could get pate and put it in yourself, but that seems like a lot of work and expense on top of the already overpriced sandwich. As tasty as it is, the experience is actually marred by knowing what could be. I can see myself coming back once every blue moon or so for a grilled pork banh mi, but I will always look at the menu and be sad because of what could be and the prices. Yea, they have other stuff, but I'm only ever going to get banh mi from a place called banh mi station.

Busy little hole in the wall place off of University. The parking lot is small, so parking is occasionally an issue but the food is great! For $3.50 you can upgrade your banh mi meal with a drink (Thai iced tea, yum!) and a spring roll. The food is generally fairly quick to come out (~5-10 min). A couple of tables inside for dining but I would say most of the business they do is take out orders.

Looking for a banh mi on a Sunday evening- and pleased to see Banh Mi Station is open till 8 pm. Overall, a pretty good sandwich- and we requested our vegetables on the side (I personally don't do pickled daikon). I would say I should've asked about the spring rolls- they were typical egg rolls like a Chinese restaurant, not the Vietnamese fried egg rolls (cha gio).

Solidly a 3/5. Bread is okay, a bit too...soft?...for a banh mi. Staff didn't seem to have much urgency, despite several orders waiting and a queue of online orders. Options are fine for the area, and probably perfect for someone who is timidly entering the idea of trying a banh mi. Fried chicken? Brisket? Pork chops? Gimme the headcheese, the pate, the char shu. Fine in a pinch.

I was interested in trying this place! It doesn't look much on the outside but the food is really good! I got a beef banh mi and it was delicious. The bread was crunchy and soft and the beef was marinated nicely. It's a really big sandwich that can be shared. I also got a side of crab wontons. I already want to go back and try their other food! There's parking up front and seating inside. I didn't have trouble finding parking and took my food to go. It took them about 5-7 minutes to get me my food. Definitely worth it to try! (:

Family owned Vietnamese bánh mì. Every time my husband and I come to Denver, we make a point to eat at this place. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious. I had an authentic Vietnamese house special and my husband had lemon chargrilled pork sandwich. Super fast and friendly service. Definitely a must if you like bánh mì!

What a delightful Bahn Mi I had for lunch today. I've had my eye on trying this place for a while and it worked perfectly today to stop by. First the parking was nice given the location off S University. You'd expect it to be a nightmare but there is a small, easy to use parking lot. The staff was really friendly and super quick with getting my "to go" order ready. There was a small miscommunication from being mask muffled so I ended up with the grilled shrimp. Although I hadn't planned on eating shrimp it was delicious. Perfectly crispy baguette that I ended up wearing quite a bit of, paired with all the classic Bahn Mi ingredients- daikon, carrots, cucumbers, jalapeños, cilantro, Mayo and perfectly cooked shrimp. Delicious.

Had to try this place after it made yelps top 50 list. Definitely satisfied my Bahn Mi craving today! Tried the pork lemon grass and beef lemongrass. Both were very good, bread seemed fresh. Meat was flavorful and cooked well. Food came out quickly. Seems like this is more of a take out place as we were the only ones that dined in. As we were looking at the menu, 2 of the workers were yelling at each other by the counter which made things kind of awkward as we ate there listening to this

This place never disappoints! Any & all of the banh mi's I've tried are over the top, phenomenal. Dine in or take out, the vibes are solid! Service is always pleasant & food is served quick! For $14 for a full meal, well worth it! :)

Banh Mi Sandwiches are so good! Coming from the Bay Area where there's a huge Vietnamese community, finding this place was a hit! I was really missing some good banh mi sandwiches and this place really hit the spot for me. The service is always great and clean! Also their rice plates are 10/10 in my book. Can't wait to go again!

Very satisfied with my first impressions of Bahn Mi station! I placed a pickup order of their Lemongrass grilled pork Bahn Mi, and the kind lady over the phone asked if I'd like to upgrade to a combo of either soda and an egg roll for $2, or iced coffee/Tea and an egg roll for only $3.50. I chose the iced coffee combo and was not disappointed. First I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee. It boasted a dark, rich, flavorful profile and was the perfect color for my liking! The Bahn mi was heavenly!!! A generous amount of meat and an even amount of fresh, crisp vegetables along side of it! The bread was soft, light and airy in the middle, with the perfect amount of thin, crisp crust along the exterior. The meat was seasoned incredibly and all of the flavors blended perfectly with each bite. The combo also came with a vegetable egg roll, which I'm typically not a fan of...until today! It was lightly fried to perfection, crispy and delicious. You could tell by the appearance, flavor profile and textures that everything was prepared fresh, with fresh ingredients! It came with a sauce that was the perfect mixture of sweet, savory and delicious! It made for the perfect pairing! I will absolutely be back!! It's not too often I find new restaurants I love, but this is one of them.

Had a good combination rice bowl. For the price, fair quantity of food included. Nice and quick service. Was able to snag one of the few tables despite it being busy. Check it out if you're in the mood for Vietnamese food.

What a yummy place to eat for lunch!! Small Thai food joint with delicious food options. The selection is great I believe there is something for everyone. They have rice bowls and noodle bowls too not just the banh mi. We got to taste and enjoy the Lemon grass beef Bahn mi, it was great. The beef was marinated properly and it was complemented with fresh veggies and crunchy bread. The place itself is small but it was clean and relaxing. We visited during lunch time on a Friday and it was very pleasant. There was not a long wait, our food came out in a descent time frame and everything was delicious. Thank you for a great experience can't wait to try more items off the menu.

I could hear myself think to be able to write this over the "mmmmm" "oh yeah, this is good" and other indecipherable "yummy" sounds and words while my family chowed down. No wonder this place is #20 on the top 50. We popped in because it was in our way home, not because we knew about the reputation. Well, folks, it is deserving. The serving positions are fantastic! A giant Banh Mi sandwich with fresh crunchy radishes, cucumber, cilantro and jalapeños with perfectly flavored lemongrass pork, the combo vermicelli combo with pork, beef and shrimp and 1.50 for a drink and 2 wontons. Not only was every bite as good as the first (seriously) the value is incredible! These two items served four of us! We debated taking another sandwich to go, but just decided we'll come back in a week or so. You guys hit the nail in the head. This meal not only fed us and felt fresh and nourishing, it genuinely, (and I do not say this in jest) brought us all joy. Seriously. That's how good it is! Parking is limited so if it's a lunch hour I'm sure parking is tough. Find somewhere to park and walk. It's worth the trip!
