The 19 Best Restaurants In Fitzrovia - London - The Infatuation

"If textures are what you’re after in your sandwiches, Banh Mi Town’s bánh mìs have got you covered. This tiny spot has what we like to refer to as ‘the peanut button’. Press the peanut button and your pork special, filled with pâté, cả lụa, caramelised belly, and ham, will also get a sprinkling of peanuts on top. We very much like it, and it's a really useful and cost-effective place to know about in central." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing

The Best Bánh Mì In London, Ranked - London - The Infatuation

"Bread-watch: A real two-hander. A soft (but not uncrisp) and wide (but not unmanageable) baguette baby. If textures are what you’re after in your sandwiches, then Banh Mi Town has got you covered. This tiny spot in Fitzrovia has what we like to refer to as ‘the peanut button’. Press the peanut button and your pork special, filled with pâté, chả lụa, caramelised belly, and ham, will also get a sprinkling of peanuts on top of its pickled vegetables and chilli coriander. It’s kind of funky, we very much like it, and this is a really useful and cost-effective place to know about in central." - jake missing

Where To Get A Park Picnic That Isn't Crisps & Hummus

"The Picnic Pick: A peanut-forward pork special bánh mì ⏱️  19-minute walk to Regent’s Park Self-care is knowing that a bánh mì should be big enough that you can’t physically doomscroll while eating it. Banh Mi Town is a teeny tiny spot in Fitzrovia that specialises in wide, two-hander baguettes and our favourite is the pork special—think pâté, think peanuts, think caramelised pork belly. If you’re in the mood to please the little step-tracking sadist that lives in your phone, walk to the bandstand by the boating lake for peak picnic views." - heidi lauth beasley

Auntie Banh Mi Review - Shoreditch - London - The Infatuation

"Auntie Banh Mi is a Lao family-focused bánh mì pop-up that you 100% want to know where it will next be. Their menu alternates, each one named after a family member, and the Auntie special feature cả lụa, spam, 24-hour roast pork and a smear of homemade pâté is probably the best all-pork bánh mì you can eat in London. The Brother In-Law, filled with fried chicken spring rolls is also excellent, and there’s always at least one vegetarian option. Whatever you do, don’t shy away from the family jeow, a sour and numbing Lao chilli paste that takes these sandwiches to the next level." - Jake Missing

These guys have a tasty savoury pancake - I had it with prawns & enjoyed it. The spring rolls are also very tasty and crisp. Good size and temperature of both dishes. Atmosphere could be a little better in the seating area since you can see a fair amount of wear & tear, but it’s still worth visiting! The menu is relatively small as well, but covers all bases so makes it easy to choose something good :)

Google
A work colleague and I have returned to this establishment at least 40 times, a figure we can confidently verify thanks to our bank statements. Each visit, without exception, leads us back to the same choice from their extensive menu: the iconic collaboration between France and Vietnam, the bánh mì. We always go for the Pork Special, and remarkably, it has yet to disappoint. The balance of flavours is consistently spot on: crisp bread, perfectly seasoned pork, fresh herbs, and that unmistakable harmony of richness and freshness. It doesn’t try to reinvent the bánh mì; it simply delivers it exactly as it should be — satisfying, comforting, and undeniably moreish. After 40 visits, consistency is no longer a coincidence. Bahn Mi Town doesn’t just please; it keeps us coming back, again and again.

Google
Can’t stop thinking about the spring rolls, which are perfectly cooked and their grilled pork and vermicelli noodles are delicious! The atmosphere in here reminds me of a little shack back in Da nang, I was transported!

Google
No frills, five things on the menu and all of them awesome! This little Thai restaurant was perfect after a day of schlepping around very dressed down especially by London standards. Good, hearty food!

Google
Love this place for Banh Mi. I've had the pork special twice now and it's fantastic. Always warm fresh baguette with plenty of filling. Doesn't take too long either, a few minutes and you've a delicious Banh mi in your hands. They have a seating area inside with some more space downstairs, and of course offer takeaway. Even when busy for lunch they still had my Banh ready in under 5 minutes.

Google
from the first scoop you can tell the soup was made too much cinnamon and poorly balanced spice and herbs. noodle was slightly overcooked. bean sprouts wasn’t served separately and there wasn’t a lot. not a lot of toppings for a ‘large’ portion at the price point. taste of pho is just way below average, disappointing. service was cold and the whole shop gave a sad recession vibe.

Google
Very Authentic..... definitely all about the food. Very busy and full of Asian folk ..always a great sign. Had Pho special Beef and pancake....did not disappoint at all. Brought me back to Ho Chi Minh City and Los Angeles, the places I cut my teeth on Vietnamese food! Fantastic highly recommend.

Google
After two hours waiting to be seen by my orthopedic surgeon, I had the most delicious lunch! 😋 This was my first time trying a Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwich, and the ones at Banh Mi Town did not disappoint. 😍 I had one half with Chicken Satay, and one half with BBQ Pork (my husband ate the other halves). They both tasted AMAZING! The proper Vietnamese bread really made the sandwich special; crunchy on the outside, super soft on the inside. Combined with the crunch of the cucumber and carrot, and the sweet juiciness of the meat, it was just superb! 🤤🥖 If you're near Warren Street in Central London, make sure to pop into Banh Mi Town on Hanson Street, W1W 6TS and try one of their delicious Bunh Mi sandwiches! 😁

Yelp
The beef pho broth is on point. Love their style of rice noodles too. It was like a soft and silky rice noodle instead of the vermicelli I am used to. For £10, probably one of the best cheap eats in London

Yelp
Great food and good service. Busy restaurant so reservations suggested. Authentic Thai with an extensive menu. Medium spice was quite spicy for me.

Yelp
Formerly Bang Bang Vietnamese back in 2017. Decided to grab something to eat from here as we were staying in an air bnb literally above the restaurant and I had been seduced by the wonderful smells that poured into our apartment every morning as a result. My husband enjoyed his pho, my dish was inedible which was a pity. From what I remembered, pricing was decent, service was fast, the restaurant was spacious enough and clean. I did like the interior design concept, it was almost 1920's inspired. They also had a few select flavours of bubble tea, which I remembered as the redeeming factor of the experience.

Yelp
Amazing little gem in London...the Phô was fantastic and the people here are very nice. We ordered the summer rolls and the 2 phô with rare beef. We HIGHLY recommend!

Yelp
Vietnamese food gone wrong! The base soup of phò beef noodle soup is not flaborful at all and in fact bland - no beef taste. There was anlot if noodles, the red meat was tough. Banh me bbq pork is not good either, why put shredded carrots in sandwich. A little mayonnaise in the sandwich would help the taste. We also irdered the rice plate with mixed meat, which was ok among the 3 orders we have. £0.50 per person for dining in. We chose your restaurant and are already eating in the restaurant - why be punished with a charge for eating in. Why is such charhe allowed by law in London? Asian food and Asian restaurant gone wrong!

Yelp
The most flavorful and authentic Vietnamese food in Europe. I'm so glad it's here since I crave Vietnamese food when I'm in Europe and there's no place to get authentic homemade Vietnamese food. I really love the banh mi and bun bo hue. Office catering is very popular for events and parties. Great place for lunch and dinner. A lot of love goes into this excellent tasting food. You really can't go wrong with the pho, bun bo hue, thit nuong which are the noodle soups and grilled pork. Yum!!!!

Yelp
The best Vietnamese food in London! Super authentic with staff who actually are from Vietnam. Banh mi, pho, bun bo hue, and com dishes are amazing. When I'm craving Vietnamese or Asian food I go here.

Yelp
Was craving for some Viet food and ran into this place, couldn't be happier. Their bun bo hue and veggie egg rolls were delicous! I'll definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
The soup was very good. However they did mess up on my sisters order. The man behind the register was very kind and understanding so he gave us the right order. The cook came out of the kitchen and tried to argue with my mother about how it was our fault that we ordered wrong. He said if you order spicy, you're going to get spicy. We never ordered anything spicy because my family hates spicy. He kept trying to put the blame on us. I would of given 5 stars easily for the food and for the fixing of the order if the cook never came out and got defensive. It was just a simple misunderstanding.

Yelp
Super delicious shouldn't try everything on the menu
