My flight was cancelled and I couldn’t think of a better place to spend a few hours and feast while waiting for another flight. The food was delicious, with generous portions and it was bargain priced. It’s a small family run business that felt good to support. They treated me like family, even bringing an off-menu complementary soup. I washed the sandwiches and other food down with coffee and bubble tea. I really miss this place and don’t know when or if I’ll ever be back in Winnipeg but I am sure if I was to go back, I’d stop here.

It's really a great hole in the whole Banh Mi place. I stop here most weekends and I never regret it. The vermicelli dish is also great too.

The most affordable banh mi in the city. Friendly owner/staff. The wait time for 4 banh mi and 2 bubble tea was less than 10 min. The sandwiches tasted pretty good. Although they were pretty light on filling. The bubble tea's tasted ok. Just slightly sweet and really lacked flavor. Rating: 1. Cold Cut banh mi - 4.5/5 2. Beef banh mi - 3/5 3. Chicken banh mi - 4/5 4. Taro bubble tea - 3/5 5. Honeydew bubble tea - 3/5 Keep your eyes open while in this area. While leaving the shop, I had someone ask me to buy him food. When I said no, he became agitated. Fortunately he left without incident after a bit of back a forth.

Great bargain for Vietnamese street food you can’t find anywhere else in Winnipeg yet. Love their authentic sticky rice dumplings & vermicelli bowl. Their delicious vermicelli has plenty of meats and it’s $8.00 while other place I would pay double or more for almost similar quality. I also got tapioca dumplings but it’s not as authentic, generally good taste. Would come back to try other items on the menu. Definitely recommend!!!

I've had Bahn Mi in at least 15 places in Winnipeg and this is top 1 or 2. You MUST try the tapioca dumplings

My fav Banh Mi to go with. I always call ahead to order banh mi and the lady is always nice to talk to. My friends love banh mi so anytime I visit them, Banh Ngon is the first choice haha I love their banh mi because it is the right portion and the filling tastes fresh all the time. Highly recommend

I bought the chicken banh mi and it was delicious. The cashier lady was really friendly and prepared my sandwich very quickly. The prices are some of the most affordable in the city. I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
A few buds and I went here to pick up lunch. Very good subs for $6. We all had the spicy BBQ pork. I would of preferred more meat but $6 well worth it. Nice buns and they pre toast them to give them a little crust not to much but just right. Three subs just over $20. You can't go wrong with these prices, salad rolls were also $6 none of us tried them but awesome lady there was ordering them and told me there fabulous.

Yelp
The food is very affordable and it's got great proportions and the quality is fantastic. My boyfriend tried the "Traditional cold cut-Banh Mi" and he was pleasantly surprised at how much he liked it. I am not sure what the meats in it were but I know he thinks one of them was turkey. He loves spicy stuff and he recommends this sandwich to spicy lovers. There's red bits in the sandwich that are very spicy hot but if someone doesn't like spicy elements then maybe the restaurant staff would just not put that in. I wasn't sure what to get. I wanted to try the Salad Roll but there was pork in it...No problem! The staff said she could make the salad rolls without pork. Excellent! I was very happy with the results. 3 long salad rolls came nicely packaged to where I was waiting for the food. I ate them quickly and was filled with joy at how filling and yummy they were. The dipping sauce on the side is just the right amount of sweet and a little bit spicy. This restaurant is very small and only has 1 table. It's more of a "you order then leave with food" type of establishment. I am definitely coming back here to try the bubble teas they have.
