The 15 Best Breakfast Spots In Madrid - Madrid - The Infatuation

"When you just can’t handle another boring scrambled egg, acai bowl, or basic white toast with tomato spread, Banibanoo to the rescue. They offer everything from spiced-up kiwi jam and carrot spread and eggs to toast flavored with sesame, mint, paprika, and za’atar. Order the roasted eggplant or date on sourdough, tahini and pistachio French toast, or porridge with dates and almonds. Or, opt for the shakshuka (Banibanoo adds labne and sesame to the traditional egg, tomato, and red pepper mix) and eat it in the luminous dining room, which is scattered with Iranian poetry and coffee table books." - lori zaino

The 24 Best Restaurants In Madrid - Madrid - The Infatuation

"At Banibanoo, a woman-owned Iranian restaurant in Salamanca, a glass case showcases the various dishes available, “posing” like mannequins in a boutique—and, yes, you’ll want to “shop” at this casual place after you see the bowls of swirling soup and painted plates piled high with rice. They offer a daily prix-fixe lunch, which includes your choice of three dishes and a drink for under $20. Although there’s a paper menu, it’s best to get up and "ohh" and "ahhh" as the servers give you a quick rundown of what's in the case, usually too quickly. You can’t go wrong with whatever you get, but our favorites are the sweet and savory rice with saffron, lentils, raisins, mini-meatballs, dates, and fried onion, the tortilla de patata, which Banibanoo infuses with chicken and tops with sour yogurt, and the sweet potatoes and pomegranate. Reserve on weekends or Fridays when the lunch hour gets busy, but most days you can pop in without a booking to enjoy a quick, healthy midday meal with friends or on your own." - lori zaino

BaniBanoo Review - Salamanca - Madrid - The Infatuation

"At Banibanoo, a woman-owned Iranian restaurant in Salamanca, a glass case showcases the various dishes available, “posing” like mannequins in a boutique—and, yes, you’ll want to “shop” at this bright, casual place after you see the bowls of swirling soup and painted plates piled high with rice. They offer a daily prix fixe lunch, which includes your choice of three dishes and a drink for under $20. Although there’s a paper menu, it’s best to get up and ohh and ahhh as the servers give you a quick rundown of what's in the case, usually too quickly, so choose based purely on visual appeal before sitting back down and waiting for your selections. Google
Great food, they have examples of the dishes on display, which makes it easier to choose. You get 3 dishes/soups on your plate for one price. Very flavorful food and kind staff. Highly recommended!

Google
Great food. From what I could see on the menu it was Persian/Arab/turkish food which for breakfast means eggs, yogurts, bread, eggplant, peppers, hummus (chickpeas), tahini and so forth. The flavours were great, fresh and filling. You should try it

Google
Easily one of my favourite restaurants. The menu is so fresh and fun. It offers a fusion of traditional Irannian dishes with a mix of other cultures.

Google
The food is amazing, lot of variety and really good quality-price. Many different types of rices combined with legumes, vegetables and meats. The desserts are also really good, and the lemonade is a must.

Google
The food is amazing! You can choose 3 dishes for 15,95 and they’ll be served to you quickly on one plate. Baklava is to die for! But I put 4 because the restaurant lacked of atmosphere. Everything is done too fast and without a proper attention to the customer. It’s just running and rushing. We felt uncomfortable and that employees would prefer us to eat and leave fast then enjoy the food and share the new cuisine discovery.

Great tasty Persian food that must try.

Google
Amazing food. We tried both eggplant w dates and baked w a meat sauce. Saffron rice w chicken was so fragrant and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the banibanoo albondigas in tomato sauce. My wife loved the Iranian soup w mint and beans. I recommend making a reservation. The seating was spacious and ambience was comfortable.

Google
This non-pretentious but charming Persian restaurant is a favourite of mine for years now. You can choose three dishes for the Menu of the Day for 15,95€ - I assure you it’s a delight for your eyes and your taste buds! Very recommendable! Special mention of their desserts – the Pavlova is to die for! 😍

Yelp
The food is amazing and tasty and the staff are friendly. What else do you want from a good restaurant?

Yelp
Went here for lunch. The food was absolutely incredible. Tastes like home. Tried the Ash (Persian Noodle soup), the Jeweled rice (javaher polo) and the stuffed eggplant and was blown away by the taste. They explained how the menu works and delivered exactly what was promised. Keep in mind this is a Fusion Iranian food place. Expect some minor changes to traditional Persian food. But well worth it. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Being Persian with high expectation to my own native cuisine, have to confess that this place worths it in many ways; The food is authentic and homemade (reminds my grandma's food). The dishes are colourful and cool for photography. The service is fast and efficient. The price for "menu del día" is a bit over the average, simply because it does not include dessert in the menu. Even though, I'd like to congratulate Bani for her brilliant idea and for being such a young and successful foreign business owner which is not a easy thing in a country like Spain.

Yelp
I loved BaniBanoo, the restaurant concept is fantastic, you could see the food before you eat kind off as a buffet, Is a Iranian homemade food which is divine and the place is cozy. It's a bit expensive but it's worth
