What a great local place that serves of plentiful helpings of good food at a reasonable price by some really friendly people!
Banjo's cafe was a little off of my beaten track but I was exploring so I thought I would stop in and fill my growling stomach. "Seat yourself" said the sign and so I did, picking a small table for two tucked in the corner where I could watch all the other patrons enjoy their food.
Banjo's has quite an eclectic crowd, from bikers to families, couples to singles, all coming together for the common goal of good food at a good price.
I had been warned by a local that sometimes it takes awhile for the food to come up, and it even says it on the menu, but my food came up quickly, piping hot from the kitchen.
The menu is large and offers up most breakfast items you can imagine. I went with my standby of an omlette which came with hashbrowns, pancakes or toast, and with a piping hot cup of coffee that seemingly was never empty, I was a happy girl.
Jordan was my server, and even though she had other customers, she kept a good watch out over me, making sure I had what I wanted and offering up some friendly banter.
Breakfast for a ton of food ran about $15 and I was in and out in less than an hour which was perfect as I had more exploring to do.
Banjo's cafe. The only thing that could have made it better would have been someone playing it's namesake instrument as I enjoyed my food!
