Anderson Dairy plans to bring a creamery to downtown Henderson | Eater Vegas

"I've bought their products in the grocery store for years, but in early 2020 Anderson Dairy will debut a new 9,000-square-foot hub on Henderson’s Water Street in the vacant, 14,000-square-foot former Bank of America building at the intersection with Pacific Avenue. Described as an “old-fashioned ice cream shoppe mixed with a modern Instagrammy flair,” the space will add a retail section and a cafe; the menu promises specialty drinks, sandwiches created with Great Harvest bread (the project is a partnership between Anderson Dairy’s Julie Coon-Tandy and Jessie Coon-Humphries and Great Harvest franchise operators Kim and Jason Jacobs), plus food and drink to go. One teller working as usually, but the branch has a total of 3 windows. This bank is giving off Walmart vibes with the lack of staff. Management doesn't address the long waiting when a customer brings it up, instead she avoids eye contact and walked away. I would avoid this bank if possible. 9 people in front of me, I counted 6 who walked out behind me and a total wait time of 26 minutes for a car payment at 10am. While waiting in line, I was able to apply for a car loan and be approved at a credit union before I was helped in the branch. Thankfully I'll have to come back.

I went in to make a withdrawal their machine ended up not working for whatever reasons. The interaction was pleasant at first we exchanged how are you’s and I could tell by the tellers response they weren’t having the best day. They recommended to try my Wells Fargo bank and ask for a cash advance. I responded with what is a cash advance? Honestly not knowing and curious. They responded with that’s the term I’m telling you to use. (Obviously) I had no ill feeling towards the interaction and appreciated their recommendation until I was half way walking out of the bank and here them say “she doesn’t even know what a cash advance is” They could have waited until I was fully out the door or even better kept it to themselves. I find it extremely rude. Anytime I’ve had to go into this location it’s never been a welcoming interaction.

just recently opened an account with b of a I've deposited two checks in the first two months both or delayed by a week, b of a says it's the other bank not them I've talked to the other banks they say the money is posted but my bank won't release the funds

Continuously messes up deposits… You can write down one thing and theyll deposit what ever and not even say sorry or oh wow that was my bad…. If I didnt have to come here for my business I wouldnt be coming here at all…. What banker doesnt pay attention to what is written down regardless of a sticky note or a deposit slip..

I have been with Bank of America for almost 40 years. I have always had good service until recently. I was voted one of two people in my industry for the best "Customer-First" service. I know quality and I expect "average." The reason I mentioned this is my standard is reasonable. I moved here two years ago and this branch is very near my home. At one point I asked to talk with Merrill Lynch rep 9no appt.) and was out to lunch. I would expect the bank mgr. to take my name and number to show good customer service and have the rep call me. No call. I had almost a million dollars to invest. I went with Vanguard and they are absolutely amazing! Since that time, I needed to cash a few bonds and was prepared according to BOA website terms. I had the documentation with me. The bank mgr. was his typical "attitude" self and he knew why I was there because I had set an online appt. and he seemed to know what I was there. I was greeted by, "So what documentation did you bring?" I wanted to respond to the negative tone by saying what the Internet said I needed...but I remained poised and pulled out my info. At a quick glance, he pointed to my court document stating I was awarded the bonds (listed). He said, "This is not the name on your account" in an unpleasant way and I said, "If you read the line underneath it...it DOES say my name on my bank account." My significant other and I left the bank swearing we would not go there for assistance any further. I will say that the tellers have all been lovely to me-- 10 stars. I am shocked that in this time of crisis-- there are certainly many people willing to smile at every customer and make everyone feel special. I just retired from my own business with 150+ five star reviews about how I treated them. it is not difficult to smile and costs the bank NOTHING! I wanted to change banks however I have so much tied into this bank account (Trust, Will, Social Security, etc.) that at this time I do not have time to deal with those changes. I am moving my services to the location on Horizon Ridge...I am just not leaving that bank anymore feeling as I have in the past. There are other complaints about this online and I even called the BOA center. Losing one customer is one too many in my professional opinion.

The staff was so nice first thing on a Saturday morning. I needed a notary and had called the evening before. She had told me that the appointments were full, but to come in when they opened and she would see what she could do. well, I went in there and had a seat at 9 o'clock and by 920. She had come off the line to go ahead and give me the notary and I was very impressed with the service. I had been ready to wait an hour or more if I had to it was important to get this notary and for her to do it in 20 minutes and be on my way I was very happy. I will definitely be back to this location.

This branch is Horrible! My father in law and myself wanted 45 minutes in line. He's handicapped. There was only 1 teller, poor young lady, and 3 other bank associates in their cubicles laughing. 2 were doing nothing. One was busy laughing it up. I had an appointment this morning with the Merrill Lynch representative at this office. I showed up and he wasn't there. Apparently he tried to call me to reschedule. I was at work and by the time I was off, they were closed. The message said "I'm calling regarding your 9:30 appointment" and then after the voicemail I received email confirmation that my appointment was at 9:30. NOTHING indicating my appointment was or would be changed. Supposedly he had another appointment at 11:30 so he wanted to come in closer to 11 instead. That is absolute ridiculous. My appointment had been standing for weeks. I will never give my business to them because of this. What terrible service and business practices.

I wish negative stars were a possibility. They will kiss your ass till it's no longer profitable, then drop you with out warning, and make it as difficult as possible for you to get back on your feet again. I was as loyal as loyal gets to this bank to his bank for over half my life in every aspect of banking I ran through them. My business accounts my merchant services my personal accounts checking my savings all of my employees accounts through Bank of America. Always well for over 12 years or so I thought until I looked into it and started asking questions about The fact that they were robbing me little by little over the last decade instead of getting straight answers I got bounced around from department to department and left in limbo to be hung up on eight hours later repeatedly no matter how Ohio escalated it no questions were answered whatsoever to the point I was told I have to subpoena them to get any further answers for the robbery that took place right in front of me in my bank accounts they even took it a step further and dropped every Single one of my accounts just before closing down due to Covid. They bankrupt my company and single-handedly started the snowball that brought me from living the American dream to being homeless and sick living in a storage unit. They couldn't care less about their clients Customer Service is an absolute joke at best but only because it makes me laugh thinking about the lack there of. I could not warn you enough to stay away from doing any type of business with Bank of America whatsoever in fact I'm gonna dedicate a small part of my life to making sure that I spread the word of how horrible my experience was with these people after being so loyal for so long to have them turn their backs on me for no good reason and ruin my life over it. Any questions please feel free to ask I'm more than happy to elaborate as well as provide proof of these wrongs committed against me that so far I have not been able to get justice because of how big this company is they can do whatever they want as long as they sell the company to a buyer that they have no liability it's insanity that this is legal I'm hoping it's not in this case the right person's attention My name is Ryan Garlinghouse and I highly persistently an extremely do not recommend this company in any way shape or form. I went in the Henderson at 1411, Henderson NV 89015 on Wednesday 4-10-19 and there was 10 people in line no exaggeration. This happens quite often at this location. This location is close to home. I will need to drive further to do my banking. What bothers me is there are other people standing behind the tellers. You would think they would open more windows. What come first should be customers!

I am new to the area, and I was dreading coming to this BOA because the first time I came here, two ladies at the counter were gossiping about a customer that had just left right in front of me. I thought maybe wait until you are both alone? That is what most people do... I thought that was a bit unprofessional... and it felt awkward. Anyways, I came in the day before, but it was super busy. The gentleman greeted me and asked what he could help me with, and I let him know I needed to open a bank account for my son, but he was busy. However, he let me know I could do this myself online without issues, and so, sure... I went home and tried to do this myself. I got the application going and got to the final step, and it told me I needed to go back to the bank to verify my ID in person, lol. So... ok, no problem, I made an appointment and went back the next day. When we walked in, Michael greeted my son and me and, the process did not take long. This bank is the closest location to me, and we were in and out of there quickly, not to mention the reviews of this place were not the best, but he helped us with what we needed and was friendly. He explained everything from start to finish and, he was patient, and when he had some technical issues, his attitude did not change. I hope Michael makes this branch better and improves the other staff that may need some encouragement to be more helpful there. Thanks for the help Michael!

Went in to open a checking and savings and apply for a credit card. Being in my early 20's I was nervous to go in a do all this on my own since I know very little about banking but Ashley was amazing help! She is very knowledgeable and personable! She definitely had my best interest at heart and helped me feel confident in my decision to finally open everything on my own! Way to go Ashley, you're the best! Keep it up!

There were a couple people in front of us and the Asian lady said it would take 45 minutes. 1 hour has passed and there was still one guy in front of us and he received a phone call and we overheard that he said he was waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes. I asked the Asian lady how much longer and she said that I'm gonna sign in and take the guy that was in front of us. We waited 2 minutes and nothing. The guy was still sitting so we left. Unacceptable but yet there were other 2 other members that could help us. Before we left 2 more people came in and one guy was handicapped and was sitting on his wheelchair. Just wondering how long is it gonna take. Oh and one last thing, the guy in the last office towards the back was talking with some guy nothing to do with business, just chatting away. All we wanted to do was get another debit card and put myself on my wife's account.

I stopped by this location to ask a few questions about a service B of A provides. I was referred to a so called relationship mgr - Miki Kendall lol at this branch and was appalled by the rudeness she displayed. If you're not a people person, then don't work in customer service. Talk about sarcasm at its best. However, the greeting rep was extremely polite and kind. Miki could take a few lessons in etiquette from her co-workers. Not only will I be moving my funds else where, I shall be filing a complaint on her.

This bank is always packed and they always only have two bankers working at the counter. And when you ask for additional help at the counter they tell you NO only two people but boy they're in a hurry to help you want to open a new account. This was the last straw and I'm yanking all my money out of the bank. I should've listened to my aunt and uncle and my grandparents a couple months ago when they got tired of the horrible customer service also and moved all of their money to Chase. If I could give negative stars I would, it's like this every day all day at this bank.

Actually I wanted to give a negative rating (but there is no choice).I do not recommend this branch of B of A located in Boulder Highway,Henderson,NV 89015. I wanted to rent a safety deposit box as well as open an account. However, before I could make the transaction, I would like to see the actual boxes. I made two appointments (in person) which were cancelled with the same reason given "we don't have access/ or have the key to the vault, the person in-charge is not in". They wanted me to make a third appointment (why should I when they didn't honor the first two?).My point is, - why not give the real reason? This branch is giving a very poor service and bad name to B of A.
