Bankerhan Hotel

This place rocks. Beds are SUPER comfortable. We had a 1 day stay and extended twice cause we loved it. Quiet too! Except for the cats and the prayer calls, but you can’t escape that in the city lol. Everyone who works here is very friendly. Zanep especially, she’s a rockstar! Highly recommend 🤙

Can I give 10 Stars? Absolutely loved the Turkish Hospitality staying at this place. The staff was not just friendly, but they were of great help when in need. The location was right where it needs to be, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet closer to everything. Few steps away from the Tram station, Galata tower right behind you, this is the perfect spot to be... Shoutout to Kerem and Hummood (I hope I got their names correct) for going above and beyond in making my food order done right...

Excellent location. I upgraded to a river-view room on the 5th floor — epic views from both windows. The room itself was a solid 10/10. Staff were also 10/10 — really helpful, friendly and very communicative. Definitely would stay again.

In principle this is a gorgeous boutique hotel with a fantastic location close to Galata Bridge, Galata Tower and Istiklal. The staff was also super nice and the room was very clean. Beds are comfortable. The only downside is the ongoing noise every day from around 8.30pm - midnight or later. There has been music playing each night very loud, which is unacceptable. If you are looking for a silent hotel and relaxation, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel. In those 7 nights I could hardly sleep because of ongoing noise - not only from music but also from trucks loading stuff in the middle of the night etc. That was very annoying and I was stressed throughout the whole 7 nights.

I had the room overlooking the Bosporus on the 5th floor which had the most amazing morning sunrises and views. Very comfortable bed and ample hot water. Staff were friendly and daily breakfast was fresh, one thing though, they could do better with their coffee.

My dad and I really enjoyed our stay at the Bankerhan hotel. The staff were nice and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was excellent. In addition, the location is good and was quiet during our stay. I would stay here again.

Una ubicación inmejorable, todo equipo, desde las chicas que estan en la recepción hasta las chicas de Peri estan en la cocinas son increíbles y os hacen sentir como que estais en casa..Un descubrimiento! One of the best experience in Istanbul. A lovely hotel in a perfect location, with whole staff full of smiles in their faces throughout our stay to make you feel that you are at home! Definitely this will be my "home/address" in Istanbul for my next stays

Mid range comfortable hotel very near the Galata Tower, good value as it gets in Istanbul. I booked direct on their website after checking prices and got the best deal. Rooms are very small but you have enough space as long as you keep tidy! Beds are very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets. In room safe and tv. The best thing was breakfast with lots of homemade food, eggs, fruit, breads olives, cheese etc plus lots of other stuff and very nice ladies in the kitchen keeping it stocked up because people linger over it. Reception staff are helpful if you want taxis or recommendations. |I only have a couple of criticisms. In our 4 night stay we had to ask for our room to be made up twice because it was forgotten. You are supposed to get a tea tray which we had to ask for several times on arrival, and even then the housekeeper kept taking it away. You get a mini bar but only water on the day of arrival which seems a bit skimpy for a hotel of this grade. However, overall a very comfortable stay.
