Hannah is the shop keep here! Running a very great Texas only wine shop, charcuterie and very quaint patio. You will find yourself in a very comfortable spot if you have an afternoon or evening here. We enjoyed ourselves and if you have the opportunity to meet with Hannah, you're in luck! She knows a good history of the town and the wine country here that is being represented here. This was an awesome stop and we'll be back if we can get back through! Y'all should also!

For all those who love wine or want to start exploring the world of wines, this is your place to start. With dim lights and a beautiful interior, Bankhead offers a lovely atmosphere of intimacy. Perfect for a date on the inside, but still diverse enough for an outside gathering with friends. Their variety of Texas wines brings a refreshing local taste to the town along with beautifully laid charcuterie boards alongside to compliment. Sharon was also wonderful in my guest experience. She was very insightful, offering rich history and stories with an acute sense of humor. A lovely time and a lovely place, I recommend this place to all.

Stumbled upon this cute little bar while in town for a girls trip. The wine flights are fun. Great decor, fun atmosphere, plenty of outdoor seating. There was a chili cook off happening in the same courtyard which made it even more festive for a small town hee haw. I bought a bottle of Cabernet to go and a wine glass for fun and giggles. Will refer and return.

So glad we discovered this place while we were camping at Lake Mineral Wells State Park. Went into town for lunch on a Friday and after looking at a few options decided on this place. Fabulous space and the owners were a joy to visit with. They serve only Texas wines which is part of the charm. There is a wide selection to choose from. We had an Albariño and a Viognier. Both were very good and hit the spot on a warm Spring day. They have a neat arrangement with a local restaurant across the street. We order from their menu and they deliver to the wine bar. We opted for a chicken pesto sandwich and a chicken Caesar wrap. Both were very good and paired well with the wine. After a leisurely lunch and two glasses of wine, we purchased two bottles for the road. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Did not get to enjoy that, but bet it’s a great place to spend an evening. Just the kind of place we seek when traveling. Will go out of our way to return when in the area again. Highly recommend.

I’m in town from Denver visiting family and am so happy to have found this gem right next to the main street of Mineral Wells! Great Rosé, amazing atmosphere and friendly people. The owner seems to be really passionate about his work and it shows in the details of the atmosphere and his local Texas wine selection. Don’t forget to ask about the wine-based, watermelon Jell-O shots if you’re feeling adventurous! Trust. It was surprisingly delicious.

This is a great establishment. The staff was extremely friendly. My son was their live music for the evening, and I went with him to assist in set up and pictures. Quite a few seats inside and plenty of space to move around. I did not have any food or drinks, so I'm unable to give a review on that. But the staff is very friendly.

Yelp
My husband and I went into town to meet with a friend at this adorable little spot. We really enjoyed our experience. Taylor made a great recommendation based on our taste. She was a joy to talk with as well. We loved the Sweet P white wine. When we came in, we were the only ones and then several groups came in. Taylor did an awesome job keeping up with the crowd. I would say the food is a little disappointing for the prices charged. Very small quantity and low quality for the price. If you are looking for a comfortable quaint spot to have some good wine with friends, this is it. My only suggestion, be sure to eat before you go and be prepared for higher prices then other wine bars.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in the one woman working was preparing food, saw us come in, didn't welcome in, or say hello, or be right with you. She argued with everything we asked about. She gave me a board to order with but not my husband he had to ask for it. I had spicy pickles on the cheese board and had no idea they were spicy. I asked for water and she did everything else but grab water. The wines were pretty good and the cheese board was also adequate, but the server wasn't very hospitable.

Yelp
We drove in from Fort Worth & we're excited to try this place. Unfortunately, they are closed Everywhere online says they close today at 6pm. We tried the door at 4:32pm and it is locked. In the door it says hours of operation are 5pm. We will definitely call next time we head this way to try it.

Yelp
I was daytrippin' in Mineral Wells, and the first thing I happen across was Bankhead Texas Wine Bar. I do so love a wine bar. With the renovation of the Baker Hotel, downtown Mineral Wells is starting its comeback. Opened in February, right next to the Welcome sign, this place is CUTE. I love the exposed brick and stone and garage door. It is fashionable yet comfortable. The service was awesome and I got to chat with some locals while enjoying a flight. When it isn't a million degrees outside, they have lots of outdoor space and plenty of parking.

Yelp
Cute place BUT I'm so over wine bars that overcharge for wine tastings. I liked the Front Porch. But overpriced at $15/glass.

Yelp
Two of us peeled off from our group of 12 for a bit of quiet time (kids in our group) - this was a delightful little wine bar on the back corner of a building off the main drive (ie less traveled area). We enjoyed a pair on Frozen Sangrias which were outstanding, and the waitress (owner maybe?) was super nice and easy/fun to small talk with. All the shops/people in the area are so nice - it's the kind of small town America people can settle down in and relax.

Yelp
Terrible service followed by screaming toddlers on a Friday night. We walked into the establishment to 4 men at the bar. They said the bartender just stepped away, she'll be right back. We waited and waited some more. The men then said, I have no idea where she went. One of them looked outside and said "Oh, she's outside playing with my kid, I'll go get her." He came back in alone. A few minutes later, the bartender walked in holding a child's hand. She talked to him for a minute more and then got menus and tended to us. No apologies for the wait. Brought our wine out and that was the last we saw of her the entire time we were there. Would've loved to get another bottle and enjoy the music. Unfortunately with the crying toddlers (at 10:30 pm) and the lack of service we sought a better venue. It's a great spot and has great potential with the right staff.

Yelp
Bankhead is a very relaxing place. Good wine and live music. The staff is always friendly and helps you find a wine that you like. It's not a loud place or a place filled with smoke. The outside area is very family oriented with games to play or sit around a fire. Great place.
