"The quick rise and fall of Bankroll – a luxury sports bar in Center City that sold “Billionaire bacon” and thought they were “too good for nachos” – is a textbook example of what not to do." - Ernest Owens

Bankroll ambiance is top tier and aesthetically pleasing. The food on the other hand has to be the worst bar bites I’ve had. For the prices you would think the food would be of better quality. Let’s start with the rock shrimp. It was by far the most tasteless shrimp I’ve ever had. It was very saucy but no flavor at all. The buffalo wings were much better but not great. The fries were ok. The customer services was slow and it wasn’t a packed house. I could only imagined how bad it would be with more of a crowd. it took a while for drinks to come out and for the waiter to return. For the price the food should be better.

I was excited that there is another sports bar opened in Philly. Finally checked it out on a week day night. The service is top notch, everyone was nice and friendly. However, when it comes to the menu, you realized it’s more like a luxury sports bar/lounge than your typical sports bar. I couldn’t say too much about the food since we only ordered a salmon pizza to share, but the drinks were very watered down, even though they charge $19 for a drink. I don’t mind paying for good drinks, but for this price and the drink quality, I don’t think I’m going back unless there is a big sports event going on.

Top notch experience from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Our server Posh was phenomenal and on point with our service. Our experience with the incredible food so tasty to the ambience of the place was outstanding. The crab cake was the top I have ever had, Mac and cheese, mushrooms, onion rings. We celebrated my sons 19th. Birthday and they all made him feel so special. Thank you so everything.

Bankroll Restaurant is pretty impressive . The restaurant itself is stunning & great lighting for photos. Service - Amir was our waiter for the evening . He was topnotch , informative , on point and has a great personality. The quality of service I felt like I was at Delmonico's nyc! Staff cleaned , replaced and refilled without you even noticing. The team seems to move like a well oiled machine. Food & Drinks - OMG where do I start ! ( I'll keep it short ) The Candied Bacon , next time I will be ordering my own. Another winner was the French onion soup with mash potato's, life changing. A must try cocktail - I have to say is the "Smoke Filled Room". Absolutely everything we order was outstanding , just delicious and flavorful! Had a wonderful evening , can't wait to return for Brunch! Go Philly! Bravo Bankroll

This was a very cool sports bar vibe with a great dinner menu. Great atmosphere with TV screens everywhere. You can either get a table for dinner or chill on a couch with drinks for the game. The steak was perfectly cooked and the popcorn ice cream desert was 🤌

Had a fantastic time at Bankroll watching the Phillies opening game while enjoying fine dining! Our server Joseph made our first visit there a very special one by carefully explaining the menu and giving us a tour of Bankroll! Also Juan and Emeka were attentive managers who stopped by and made us feel very welcome! Great service, food and ambience!!

I felt like my seating was dwngraded upon checkin, so the experience dulled in comparison to my expectation. I was sat in a well too lit dining area, the decor was ok¡ I already knew I wouldn't be ordering as crazy as I normally would with the diner-like seating. The strip steak was cooked to perfection, not Understanding why they couldn't apply a bleu chz crown ...I digress! I had the jazziest cesar salad Ever, and some kind of seafood appetizer w/ a white wine to start & a whiskey sour to finish it was all Just ok ..what was the STARR of the evening was appetizing thick cut spiced to perfection Bacon. The staff were polite and knowledgeable, some were welcoming...bathrooms were ok. Frankly I don't gamble, but was expecting a dope experience like dining in Vegas or atleast AC, maybe it's a A Philly THING 🤔 the energy and vibe was just ok.
