"Banshee lives along an eclectic strip of Burnside Street, tucked between boutiques and restaurants. (It’s a stone’s throw from Tusk.) The focus here is vintage, but the owners do a stellar job at selecting items that have a modern bent and are in impeccable shape. Pristine blouses, knit skirts, vintage Levi’s. Everything here is seasonal, stylish, and considered. A mix of natural skin care, pottery, and accessories from local makers rounds out the mix. "

I went here with some of my friends, when looking around one of them was looking at the lip products they had. They put it back but then the worker came right next to us & demanded that we put back the item we are stealing. When we told her that we didn't steal anything & that they put back the lip product she told us that we had to empty all of our pockets. Because we were all minors at the time we listened & emptied our pockets as proof that we didn't take anything. I would never go back as while I understand that some teenagers do have sticky fingers we know better than to steal especially from a small business. Hopefully the staff have changed ways since this incident.

I absolutely love this store! The owners have impeccable taste and everyone who works here is so friendly. Great place to find a cute gift for the holidays. Best smelling store in Portland!

Cannot even exchange items. Very odd for a store this day and age. For that reason alone, won’t patronize (I went in to exchange a gift) What are they worried about? Weird. And no, there was no shouting, I would never raise my voice in public. I see that’s how they bully people out of reviews. I simply said I won’t be coming back. Very plainly and left. Would never ever raise my voice in public. Ew. What a terrible way to run your business and interact with the public.

I super love this store. Every time I’m here, I find at least one thing I need. Great mix of new and vintage pieces. I’m obsessed with the living libations seabuckthorn oil they carry. They have fun accessories too, which I’m always buying as gifts. Beautiful beautiful store.

My favorite shop in town💓 They have really good skincare products like fat and the moon and living libations. I love the fact I can thrift designer items + current designer stuff like Simon Miller bubble clogs and Paloma wool sweaters. Anyways it’s a cute shop, lots of coffee shops around the area + a movie theater within walking distance and really good restaurants.

This is my new favorite spot, so happy I stoped in. 😍 Well curated, lovely pieces. I snagged a pair of amazing lurex St. John pants in perfect condition for $168, that were likely priced around $400 originally. Already looking forward to coming back soon. Portland needs more vintage stores like this, instead of all the meh dirty cluttery ones that are rampant around town.

We visited Portland recently and made a rather long stop at Banshee. I walked out with faaaaantastic garments but, above that, it’s all about the environment. The shop was easy to navigate, tidy, bright, and it was easy to browse through the clothes. I was also very please with the variety of sizes (often vintage clothing doesn’t fit my modern body). The staff is knowledgable and friendly. It’s a gem of a store and I highly recommend it.

Yelp
Beautifully curated little vintage spot. Amazing silk shirt, cashmere & vintage leather finds. They update the edit weekly- and I've never popped in and not found a treasure.

Yelp
LOVE this curated thrift-boutique. The stylish and friendly buyers did most of the work for me. All their pieces are beautiful and high-quality. I got a cashmere sweater here for a fraction of the original price. New favorite!
