Banyan Tree Bintan

Just back from a wonderful stay at Banyan Tree Bintan. The service here and support from friendly staff was exceptional. Beautifully styled rooms with stunning oceanfront views are well maintained by dedicated hardworking staff. There’s a resort Whatapp to answer any of your questions within a few minutes. Nothing is too much to ask. Buggy drivers arrive promptly to pick you up and take you anywhere on the resort with their pleasure. We liked the pools on site, with prompt pool service and guests who really aren’t the type to rush to save sunbeds first thing in morning then disappear to breakfast. That’s not the Banyan way. There’s a choice of three top quality restaurants; Indonesian, Thai or European but we also benefited from two other sister resorts next door with beach dining and other shared activities. This was great for our teen/20s children who loved the sports, bikes, water sports, sea turtle conservation as well as the Banyan’s own program of activities. We enjoyed a tree trek with lovely knowledgeable local guide. Well done and thank you Banyan tree xx

This is a brilliant hotel. We had an oceanfront villa with views of the sea. The villa had a small pool which was lovely. It was so private and you can’t see any other rooms from your villa. The staff at this hotel are really fantastic - so friendly and helpful. We had dinner at Saffron which was an incredible meal. The whole setting of the hotel on the sea is just stunning. Will be back!

I would have given a five if the rooms are in a better condition. The rooms were dated, some doors couldn’t be closed and water pressure in the shower was inconsistent. The real highlight however was the service. Outstanding especially Treetop Team Amirah who really went above and beyond our needs. Breakfast selection was great and filled with local food and even local wine was served at breakfast. I would really think that the prices for beverages should be reviewed as it was overly expensive even for local Balinese wine. I wish to return if they do some upgrading works in the coming months because it’s so serene. Truly a relaxing trip I needed.

Lovely resort beautiful rooms and pool. All staff were courteous, kind and always happy to please. Had an Amazing Balinese massage with Ester, probably best ever. Only complaint would be service on Monday evening at the Saffron, due to lack of staff it was very slow and frustrating such a shame as food was delicious. Overall a lovely stay would definitely recommend,

Location is good. The beach has powdery sand, clean and exudes a chill vibe. Tree Top restaurant has good food and great service. Villas are nice but are due for refurbishing. Staff are very friendly. Easy to contact front desk via WhatsApp and they are very responsive.

The Banyan Tree Bintan was simply beautiful. Our villa had paranomic views of the ocean. It was so calming and therapeutic to just lounge at the very comfortable daybed to read, reflect and look at the ocean. The villa and pool within the villa were spacious, clean and comfortable! The little but memorable touches of comfort and luxury included the aromatherapy burners (scent changes every day), mosquito coils and thoughtfully-prepared mosquito repellent cream for us. Excellent service across this entire luxury resort! Mr Irsyad gave us an excellent first impression upon arrival. Wherever we went, from the restaurants to the spa and on the various buggy rides, Banyan Tree Bintan staff were just so warm and courteous. Thank You! :)

It was an extremely delightful stay at Banyan Tree Bintan. The villa we stayed in was located in a very exclusive and private location - really quiet and healing retreat. Service from the staff across the whole resort was amazing. Dinner at the Saffron is a must do - really beautiful view overlooking the bay and exquisite food and delightful service. Well done!

The Banyan tree resort was excellent, we stayed here for our honeymoon and they made every effort to make the occasion special for us. We would definitely stay again the food and service was excellent. The cleanliness and level of attention to detail was great. Thanks for an amazing vacation Banyan tree team :)
