Yet another wonderful stay. Staff are excellent. Excellent Indonesian food especially the Treetops restaurant. That is the best. Very very good service all over, from reception to buggy to beach staff to waiters everyone is extremely efficient and warm. Very good waves at the beach as well. Beach is nice and private and very comfortable to sit at the beds. Truly incredible luxury experience. The single only bad thing about this place is it is impossibly difficult to leave!

We had an incredible New Year's stay at Banyan Tree. The resort's attention to detail is truly impressive, especially for families traveling with a baby. A huge shoutout to DECI and KASIR. Their service was exceptionally sincere and warm. They went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests for our little one, making our living experiences seamless and stress-free. It’s the people like them who make Banyan Tree stand out. Thank you for the thoughtful care and the wonderful memories!

Stayed for a week and had an incredible experience across the board - the location is great - easy to get to from the ferry - the layout of the hotel is wonderful - blends well with nature, and the views over the South China Sea are mesmerizing - Our villa was great - as others have said, its definitely not a new or modern hotel, but this is no bad thing. The rooms were in good condition, spacious, well stocked. the infinity pool was outstanding. - Service was consistently brilliant - from the in-villa BBQ, to the coordination for buggies and service in the restaurants, the staff are all super friendly and go out of their way to help - The personal touches were wonderful - the team went over and above for my wife's birthday (something more or less every night) - special shout out to Lilik, Firdaus, Darwis and Agus for their warm and friendly personalities - the restaurants are good - in particular Treetops (Indonesian) and Saffron (Thai) - The golf course connected to the hotel is in great condition, with some beautiful holes - and the Banyan Tree team made coordinating bookings and transport super easy Overall: highly recommend, and I would love to come back

We stayed with friends several times already. Very easy to join from Singapore. The staff is lovely. Bungalows are beautiful. Food is great. The 2 swimming pools with the sea view are amazing. The Spa is in the highest standards. I also had the pleasure to celebrate my birthday there and the staff has been incredible : a special and warm thank you to Lilik, Darwis, Daus and Wendi for the special attentions and the song ! The team makes the difference and knows how to make your stay unique! See you next month :)!

Amazing and relaxing stay in Banyan Tree Bintan. We really enjoyed ourselves with the great views, bday surprise and the warm hospitality. Special shoutout to Kasir, Lilik, Wendy and the service crew in helping us with my partner's very bad ankle sprain by helping us to bring ice compression and the breakfast noticing that we didnt make it to breakfast! deepy appreciate this level of service!

Had a 2 night stay here. It’s amazing how everything was maintained the same standard as it was 10 years ago. What i enjoyed the most was the quality of service. many thanks to the staff that work tirelessly at this resort, always going the extra mile to cater to our needs. Love their hospitality! Leaves me a good impression of how Indonesian culture is like.

Well maintained though older property with ample rooms and villas and tidy facilities. A quality spa and decent restaurants so you don’t have to leave the resort. Disappointments were only that shared facilities/amenities with “sister properties” are below the Banyan Tree standard and the incessant attempts to upsell via email are annoying. Communication via WhatsApp from the hotel is also frustrating - with different staff (with weaker English skills) attending to messages requiring repeated explanations. Confirmation of spa and transfer bookings made during online room reservation had to be done manually as there was no auto email confirmation. Great property, EXCELLENT staff, but stop trying to upsell and share/promote third rate facilities from adjacent sister properties.
